Review on a take out only... Very dissapointed how our packaged of to go orders were handled!! First When walking to the car the bottom of the brown paper bag got wet ! Second Some sauce dripped over clothes while carrying the bag! Third when we took out the boxes out of wet paper bag and opened the boxes I noticed that the order with the filet mignon was plated upside down that was supposed to be the cover and had holes to serve as ventilation!!! The drippings of the steak run down those holes and that's the reason the paper bag got wetnfromnthe grease !!!! Overall food were great . I ordered the Fish and Chips ( though batter seems darker and burnt than I expected ) flavorful and tasty!!

It's been a while to come here for lunch. I'd used to shop and eat on weekends in the past at Block at Orange. Lots of restaurants are gone. Sad.... Only Market Broiler stays for years. I love complementary hot sour bread w soft butter. Today I ordered 2 appetizers w Mexican lager tab. Coconut shrimps and shrimp crab flautas. Loved loved both appetizers. I know the coconut shrimps here, great flavors w Pina colada creamy sweet dipping sauce, my fave today was flauras. So good! w spicy chilly dipping sauce and avocado cream. My hubby loved Mexican Lager for the first time. He ordered 2 tabs in a row. He kept saying best lager I never had....haha. Really refreshing, sweet flavor....5 stars. Ambiance was same for years, nothing was changed. Seafood oyster display stand, bar, kitchen, dining booth, and patio area. The service was great, fast. I wish I have more flautas. That good w shrimp and crab. 5 stars! Recommend this appetizer to everyone.

The steak and shrimp lunch special

This is definitely one of the finer restaurants at the Orange Outlets. We came here on Tuesday at around 11:30 am. It was a great time and day to come. There was no wait and we were seated instantly and brought our iced teas within minutes. Then they served us really tasty bread. I believe complimentary. One day I might actually look at a restaurant bill. Lol. We ordered two lunch specials. 1. Fish and chips, which came with cole slaw. 2. The steak and shrimp combo, which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. My friend and I both loved our meals. The price was also very reasonable. I highly recommend the lunch specials. I have nothing negative to say. Very good lunch with fast service. The restaurant is very big as well and has a nice decor.

Wide variety of tasty fresh dishes at all hours of the day! There's fresh sourdough bread served as you wait for your meal. Wide variety of drinks from cocktails to beers on tap, as well as wines by the glass. There's TVs at the bar, with ample seating along with great service. There's ambience is always welcoming and a place I enjoy returning to!

This is our second time here because I was craving their seafood salad. We arrived 15 minutes before closing and yet we were greeted warmly by our server. Our late arrival was unintentional. I was just suddenly hit with hunger pangs. Anyway, I ordered the seafood salad, hubby ordered the ahi tuna salad and we shared a bowl of clam chowder. The clam chowder was quite salty but both salads were fresh and incredibly delicious. My seafood salad was packed with shrimp, big and small, crab and I believe scallops. Totally worth the $25 price. Service was very warm and friendly. Love this place. Restrooms were clean and the restaurant made me imagine we were dining by the pier in Seattle. Love this place. Will definitely be back.

Happy Mother's Day! Family lunch at Market Broiler. Steamed clams tasted just like the ones I had in Maine! Lobster roll was authentic, and the salad with seared tuna was the best. Jambalaya reminded me of NoLa. Remy had California rolls with fries and loved them too! Everything was super five-star level.

They had a pretty large menu with pretty impressive items for a restaurant in a mall. The service was great too, very attentive and friendly workers. Calamari: it was sooooooo soggy, I tried a piece when it first came out without the sauce and that was soggy too. I'm 99% sure it would be flaccid even if you ordered the normal one... good flavors though just inedibly mushy. 1.5/5 Drink: pretty tart and didn't have any natural sweetness but they wouldn't know their strawberries were sour and it was pretty refreshing so 3.5/5 -King crab: AMAZING! I was worried after the appetizer but they truly raised the bar with these. It was fresh and huge! I ate when places advertise king crab and the legs look like snow crab legs! They definitely don't play with the portions. Their price point is a lot better than other places too, if you like crab and haven't been able to find an affordable place, I'd give this a shot 5/5

Ann really Ruined my experience Host stated " make sure you seat them where I can keep an eye on them" they did. I felt offended. Is it my tattoos? Is it that I have a disability? What would make you need to keep an eye on me Ann? I was seated insight of the host, felt I was being babysat. Very uncomfortable. No greeting, no welcoming in, no nothing. Food- Lobster roll- 30$ - lobster was dry, tasted like fridge, also weird that they put a big pickle in the roll which takes away from the lobster. I only ate 1 bite and had to get my feelings validated by my boyfriend so he took a bite and was confirmed gross. If you want a lobster roll go to O'connells in Huntington Beach, you get 2 rolls and large side for 25$ do not get it from here. I still paid for it because I already felt like I was being watched for assuming I'd dine n dash and that if I didn't pay for that nasty ass lobster roll that I would be validating to them that they think I'm low class trash. Captains shareable 55$ - huge plater, could easily satisfy whole table, good sauce choices, fried perfectly, has sushi' roll, crab egg roll things, flat shrimp, skinny shrimp, calamari. They did not give me chopsticks or soy sauce for the sushi Also I got the lobster roll before my appetizer. I ordered the pineapple burnt cinnamon drink - it was good, but underwhelming presentation I won't be back unless I get an apology from management and Ann the host for the diabolical commentary.

Ernesto took great care of us. He shared with us that starting next week, the last week in May, that there is a new Mediterranean bowl that will hopefully wind up on the menu. We are looking forward to trying that We dined there for my friends to celebrate my friends's birthday. The food came out quickly, and the Bloody Marys and dishes were picture perfect and tasty.

Long time diner, first time reviewer. I normally come here for their happy hour menu as they have a delicious selection at reasonable prices. Came here last night for a late dinner. Had the lobster roll. I was sort of disappointed at the small portion of lobster. The lobster to bread ratio was like 2:5. I feel like any restaurant offering lobster rolls always skimps out on the amount of lobster. I had also asked for the fries to be extra crispy, but they came out soft. My boyfriend did enjoy his Ahi Tuna Salad. It looked pretty filling. Overall I think the food is decent but pricey.

Happy Fathers Day to these two!

We celebrated Father's Day at Market Broiler, and it couldn't have been a better experience! Bailey was an amazing server--friendly, attentive, and made sure our family had everything we needed. Her positive attitude and excellent service made our meal even more enjoyable. A huge thank you to Heric for going above and beyond to make our Father's Day celebration so special. He took the time to perform a fun little magic trick with an avocado for our baby, Brock, whose favorite food is avocado! Watching Brock's face light up was such a sweet moment that we'll always remember. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, and the extra effort Bailey and Heric put into making our family feel special truly made the day unforgettable. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful Father's Day memories--we'll definitely be back!

Bartender Jen was the most attentive server I've ever met since I entered restaurant industry 40 years ago working through graduate school to get my MBA degree. Wish I can compliment her with 10 stars. Wednesday special entree shrimps on stick didn't impress me, nor that piece of steak with tough tendon on the edge. Sunday seafood pot is enough for two meals so I ate that three times so far. Impressive Sunday meal and you'll have a unique Monday lunch to make coworkers jealous.

Bacon Brussels Sprouts with the Monday lunch special
    Lia B.

Came in while visiting for a seafood lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lunch specials. We started with calamari that was fried perfectly. The seafood salad was loaded with crab and shrimp. The Monday lunch special included grilled salmon and a grilled shrimp skewer, seasonal veggies and another side. My daughter got the cheesy potatoes and I opted for the Brussels Sprouts. The Brussels Sprouts were the only down side of the meal. I am sure they were correctly prepared, but I didn't realize they'd be sweet. Service was fast and attentive. Highly recommend for a smooth, quiet afternoon lunch.

Tasty, not overly sweet, and the cheese flavor wasn't too overpowering. Parking in the back is quite tight with only about 5-6 spaces. There is also some street parking too.

Kind of pointless to have a reservation system if your table is not going to be reserved. Unfortunately, missing out on the indoor dining experience and having our reservation not honored was disappointing. The service had several issues. We requested the heat lamps be turned on, but this was only addressed after reminding our food runner. Our friend ordered the CHUUK Trio and Enchiladas, but never arrived. Our server acknowledged the mistake, but still, the Enchiladas never came out. Another dish also never came out. We also felt the pacing of the dishes could have been better, as the pace started slowly but several dishes arrived quickly toward the end. Review above is for the food, not the server. CHUUK Trio. The blue corn chips were perfectly seasoned. The guacamole was simple, but seasoned well. The sikil p'ak was excellent. The pumpkin seed flavor came through nicely without being overpowering. It was also very acidic, but balanced by the fattiness of the pumpkin seeds. Our favorite was the salsa. It was a blackened charred salsa with a subtle heat. 5/5 Ceviche Campeche. The leche de tigre was herbaceous and acidic. No fishiness. Just clean flavors. The octopus was tender and the bass still had texture to it. 4/5 Lamb Merguez Huarache. Not bad, but not great. Everything was seasoned well, but it was one of the least memorable dishes of the night and don't quite recall much about it. 2/5 Almejas al Vapor Picantes. The herb broth was herbaceous. The flavor was not overpoweringly "green" and had acidity running through it. It was served with charred bread (I think sourdough or focaccia?). The bread tied it all together. On its own, it was certainly missing something. The clams were cooked well and the green chorizo was slightly salty. 4/5 Chakut Platter. The veal sausage was tender and flavorful. The smoked linguiza was also tender and flavorful. We weren't fond of the grilled pineapple with the sausage. The house pickles were great. The grain mustard was overpowering for the sausage. Even in small quantities did not pair well with the pineapple and sausage when eaten together. 3/5 Pulpo al Guajillo. The grilled octopus was tender and not charred. The garbanzo bean puree was not pasty or grainy. It was very rich and paired nicely with the octopus. The chayote provided some additional texture. The red chorizo was very delicious, not too oily, and salty. It balanced everything on the dish. The hoja santa gremolata provided some earthy notes and lifted the entire dish from being too heavy. It paired nicely with the octopus. 5/5 Mezcla de Hongos. We were quite shocked as we felt the mushrooms weren't cooked well and some were quite dry. The tempura mushroom did nothing for the dish. It provided some texture, but wasn't seasoned well. The Pipian verde did not pair well with the mushrooms. We didn't feel the pickled onions added anything to the dish. Overall, the dish lacked balance and cohesiveness. 0/5 Chayote. The grilled chayote had a lot of depth. There was smokiness, tenderness, and seasoned well. The requeson was creamy and smooth. The vinaigrette was smoky and provided a contrast to the grilled chayote and help cut through the creaminess of the requeson. 5/5 Tamal Colado de Elote. The corn mole had a lot of depth, was sweet yet rich. The squash blossom did not add anything meaningful to the dish. The tamal was light and airy. 4/5 Empanadas. The Habanero-romesco salsa was flavorful and paired well with the heaviness of the cheese. The masa was light and airy and not too heavy. 4/5 Salbute Pato Ahumado. I did not notice cherrywood smoke flavor on the duck. It was stringy and dry. The tortillas were light. The molcajete habanero was fine, but there wasn't enough of it. The cooks also went light with the duck chicharron so didn't really add the texture I was expecting. 1/5 Castacan. This one never came out. 0/5 Enchiladas. Never came out. 0/5 Pollo Pibil. The chicken was tender and not dry. However, no cherrywood smoke flavor came through. The house roti was delicious! It was thin, had herbs flecked throughout, and light. The coconut yuzu rice was fine. I could not taste the yuzu flavor or acidic fruity notes you normally get from yuzu. The coconut flavor was quite prominent. The mojo criollo was fine. Each component seemed too separate from each other. 3/5 Bone-in Prime New York Strip. The strip was cooked extremely well. Had a nice char on the outside and the pink medium rare color was consistent from the top to bottom. It was also nicely seasoned. 5/5

The space is BEAUTIFUL, both during the day and at night. When we checked in on Friday evening they even had live music, but unfortunately I was feeling a little sick so I skipped it and told myself I'd redeem the experience the next day before heading to Disneyland. And I'm glad I did. In the daytime, the patio area is gorgeous--you can really appreciate the firepit seating and the little lake with koi fish outside. Such a relaxing vibe. We came by around 4PM to pregame before Disney and the bar was pretty busy. Huge shoutout to Arvey, the bartender who took care of us during our visit. Not only was the service exceptional, but he genuinely made some of the best cocktails we've had in a while. Sitting at the bar and watching him make the drinks was honestly part of the experience itself. At first we were trying to customize and tweak our drinks because we usually stay in our comfort zone, but after talking with him and learning more about the ingredients in The Peel's specialty cocktails, we decided to trust the process a little more. We ordered the Dragonfly and Playing With Fire, and both were amazing--beautiful presentation, really balanced flavors, sweet and sour in the best way. We're usually not big foam cocktail people either, but this visit might've changed our minds a little. Also, Playing With Fire came with a fun little presentation moment which made it even better. Honestly, I was really impressed with my experience here. I even came back for another drink at breakfast before checking out of the hotel lol. The dining area also looked beautiful and the food coming out to other tables looked really good too. Definitely looking forward to coming back anytime I'm around the Anaheim area again.

It's a beautiful location with lots of windows and a nice outside view. As for the food, it's hotel food I feel like. May be good but over priced. It wasn't my pick so I came for the company. We sat in the back area which can accommodate large groups. Our server was good. They don't have lattes or speciality coffee drinks but you can get it from the coffee bar in the lobby and bring it in. I didn't get end up getting anything from here. My friends who got food said it was good. I just couldn't justify paying $22 for breakfast food. i guess if you are staying at the hotel, it would be good to try. However I don't need to come back.
