Happy Mother's Day! Family lunch at Market Broiler. Steamed clams tasted just like the ones I had in Maine! Lobster roll was authentic, and the salad with seared tuna was the best. Jambalaya reminded me of NoLa. Remy had California rolls with fries and loved them too! Everything was super five-star level.

So good! If you are looking for a solid, clean sit down restaurant with an impressive seafood menu to back it up? Look no further than Market Broiler at The Block. Seafood menu highlights are anything snapper, trout or salmon. These dishes can vary from time to time, but either way you will not be disappointed. Our server Javi took such good care of us and was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. I have been to this location and Huntington Beach many times, and they both offer an experience that will make you want to come back for more. Also, their coconut shrimp is perfection. Thank me later!

We tried this location out for the first time. Sat on the patio at and loved the atmosphere. Our server, Luis, went above and beyond to provide the best service. He was both patient and attentive and had such a welcoming and positive attitude. Really made our experience top shelf! The crab flautas, mahi mahi tacos, and halibut sandwiches were among our favorites!

Long time diner, first time reviewer. I normally come here for their happy hour menu as they have a delicious selection at reasonable prices. Came here last night for a late dinner. Had the lobster roll. I was sort of disappointed at the small portion of lobster. The lobster to bread ratio was like 2:5. I feel like any restaurant offering lobster rolls always skimps out on the amount of lobster. I had also asked for the fries to be extra crispy, but they came out soft. My boyfriend did enjoy his Ahi Tuna Salad. It looked pretty filling. Overall I think the food is decent but pricey.

Food was amazing, service average, family ambiance. Great portion. It was just difficult to call server for refill, lemon wedges, boxes etc.

I decided to try this place during my lunch break and was very disappointed. The staff was not helpful, and the food was not great. They also forgot part of my order, so I had to go back and ask for it. When I arrived and let them know I was there to pick up my order, the manager told me I had to wait for the hostess to help me -- even though my order was clearly sitting right there. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and we won't be returning.

I really like their social hour food! For $8 you can get Mussel/Frites and for $8 you can get a Clam Andouille sausage pot. They serve it with warm and soft sourdough bread. My husband likes the $13 burger. Their fries are the skinny ones too. Super good. Outdoor patio is dog friendly. Our server was super nice and friendly. Would recommend after some shopping!

I haven't been to Market Broiler in YEARS and in the past 3 months I've gone 3 times with my family. It's nostalgic for us. It's been here at the Outlets (aka "The Block" for the OGs like me) since day one. We love the clam chowder and pretty much everything we've ordered. The bread and butter is a great starter that we sometimes get full before our entrees, but the entrees always make you wanna dig in. My favorite is the cioppino. The red stew broth is rich and not too salty. The variety of seafood from crab legs to fish blend well together. The standout here is the staff. The servers are attentive and accommodating. We can be a lot but they don't seem to be phased lol.

It's a sunny Saturday, not too hot or too cold, a perfect day to be working. When you work as a Private Investigator you long for these nice days, especially when you're going to be tracking someone's whereabouts. I love my job, I would do it for free except for the fact that it would then be called stalking. On this fateful Saturday I happened to be tracking a jaded wife that could possibly be hiring a hitman. It is my job to distinguish between possibly and actually, because this distinction can be the difference between life and death. But a person still gets hungry while hiding in bushes and shadowing a target. Luckily for me this jaded wife also ended up hungry while she was shopping around for the perfect hitman. Even luckier for me she decided to grab some seafood at the Market Broiler located inside the Block. This would make hiding in the crowd and not getting noticed easier than usual. Seafood would also be a nice change from the hamburgers and burritos I've been scarfing down in my car while my eyes were glued to the front windshield. The restaurant was a nice size. Perfect! I could blend in and she wouldn't notice that I've been following her since Saks Fifth and Neiman Marcus. I guess she needed a Pashmina scarf on the way to plot her husband's demise. I started off with a Bloody Mary because nothing goes better with a hangover than a Bloody Mary. This being a Saturday and me being a diligent worker, I decided to splurge on food, besides my employer would be footing the bill. I didn't hold back. I started with the oysters, which were delicious, then onto the coconut shrimp and clam chowder. My belly was starting to distend outward but gluttony feels so good on someone else's dime. So I proceeded to order the Fisherman's Stew and the Rock Lobster Tail. By the end of this rampage I was so full I was sweating. But it's Saturday so I went ahead and ordered another Bloody Mary along with some calamari. When I had finished I was delirious and had almost forgotten that I was at work. I looked up to see what the jaded wife was up to, only to realize she was no longer there. I was so entranced in eating I had forgotten to keep my eyes on the target. I took this as a sign from the universe and decided to call it a day. Besides, I had eaten so much food, my body was telling me that I needed to make some room. It was off to home and my porcelain throne. Sometimes there are more important things than work. Stay vigilante and adaptable my friends....

I would of loved for the steamed Mussel to have a better sauce flavor to it. I love mussels but the plate I got wasn't hitting like I wanted it to. Great atmosphere. The service was great!

LOVE this place! Been going here since I was a young adult. I have a teenage daughter and a 9 year old son that LOVES the food just as much as their Mama. I love starting off our meal with their steamers and pair it off with the complimentary bread. We love the fish & chips, crunchy on the outside and meaty inside. Servers are also very friendly and service is excellent.

I know I recently reviewed this place, but I need to add more about an even more recent visit. My husband and I had dinner here on February 15. It was Valentine's weekend and very busy. I made a reservation on opentable. Anahi was our server and was great. The restaurant was super packed, but we got refills and got checked on quite often. The food was fantastic as usual. The golden shrimp with tartar sauce satisfied my craving. The bbq shrimp appetizer is also fantastic. I enioyed my cup of red clam chowder. My husband noticed he had not received points on the app from the past 2 times we had dined here. He contacted corporate, and Cassandra was quick to help and get our points in. That level of service goes above and beyond and is why we will forever be loyal to this lovely chain. We plan to visit the Nor Cal location very soon on vacation.

    Oysters

Brilliant experience. The food was fantastic, and everything our table ordered was delicious. We had the miso salmon, oysters, calamari, and fisherman's stew. I had never tried the oysters or fisherman's stew here before, but both were incredibly flavorful and easily became new favorites. I would definitely recommend ordering them. Beyond the food, the service and atmosphere were excellent. Our server, Kymy, was so kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the meal. Kymy is bilingual and spoke Vietnamese with my family, which made us feel especially welcomed and connected. Kymy also checked on us often and made the whole experience even better. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for everything!

Someone try the alcoholic version and let me know what it's like haha. BENCHMARK BLOODY MARY: 5/5 my friend liked it and it was spicy! ENCHILIDA SUIZAS, lobster + shrimp filling, corn, poblano cream sauce, pickled red onion, cilantro, queso fresco, I give 5/5, I enjoyed the combination of the sauce and enchiladas, it wasn't overcooked and had a great refreshing savory flavor. Plated very nicely, visually appealing. BULGOGI KIMCHI FRIED RICE, fried eggs, gochujang, green onion furikake, pickled radish, cilantro, I give 4/5, overall I enjoyed this plate, but I do feel the beef could have been slightly stronger in terms of flavor? The rice was holding all the spices and taste. DULCE DE LECHE FRENCH TOAST, crème fraîche chantilly, brûléed banana, chocolate sauce, maldon salt, I would give 5/5, presentation was beautiful, taste wise I really enjoyed it, had a very good balance of sweetness and not too strong. I know my ratings are less than a 5 in general, but I really felt the whole experience was pleasant, enjoyable, good food and good vibes, therefore 5 out of 5

Smiling, she said, "Let's celebrate with Spanish tapas." So the beautiful day began with milk tea and chocolate before we headed to the newly opened restaurant Fat of the Land for their Mother's Day brunch, conveniently located on North Main Street in Santa Ana. I later found out it was a special Sunday brunch created just for Mother's Day. Thanks to my daughter's reservation, we were seated right away. The menu selection was smaller than usual, probably because of the special brunch menu, but every tapas dish sounded delicious. We ordered the Castelvetrano olives, Galician smoked paprika octopus, French steak tartare, and Basque cheesecake, paired with a Fiero Spritz and Red Sangria. Both the octopus and steak tartare were outstanding. The Galician smoked paprika octopus was tender, flavorful, and carried just the right hint of spice. The French steak tartare was served on crispy toasted bread with cheese sprinkled on top -- a creative and delicious twist on a classic dish. The space is BEAUTIFUL, both during the day and at night. When we checked in on Friday evening they even had live music, but unfortunately I was feeling a little sick so I skipped it and told myself I'd redeem the experience the next day before heading to Disneyland. And I'm glad I did. In the daytime, the patio area is gorgeous--you can really appreciate the firepit seating and the little lake with koi fish outside. Such a relaxing vibe. We came by around 4PM to pregame before Disney and the bar was pretty busy. Huge shoutout to Arvey, the bartender who took care of us during our visit. Not only was the service exceptional, but he genuinely made some of the best cocktails we've had in a while. Sitting at the bar and watching him make the drinks was honestly part of the experience itself. At first we were trying to customize and tweak our drinks because we usually stay in our comfort zone, but after talking with him and learning more about the ingredients in The Peel's specialty cocktails, we decided to trust the process a little more. We ordered the Dragonfly and Playing With Fire, and both were amazing--beautiful presentation, really balanced flavors, sweet and sour in the best way. We're usually not big foam cocktail people either, but this visit might've changed our minds a little. Also, Playing With Fire came with a fun little presentation moment which made it even better. Honestly, I was really impressed with my experience here. I even came back for another drink at breakfast before checking out of the hotel lol. The dining area also looked beautiful and the food coming out to other tables looked really good too. Definitely looking forward to coming back anytime I'm around the Anaheim area again.

Parking validation is done at the front desk. They have a solid menu of appetizers, entrees and desserts and a very nice craft cocktail menu. It's sectioned off at the south east end of the lobby and feels like a more open space than a standard restaurant or bar and the vibe feels very OC, hipster, upscale. The only downside is the service is not consistent the last two times we've been here. The night we visited, there was a singer playing piano between the bar and restaurant area. I love entertainment at any venue, but the sound was way too loud for indoors and we couldn't hear each other talking. The reason I suggested The Peel for dinner was because I've been able to have conversations with friends and catch up without any competing noise from neighboring tables or crowds in the past. Maybe call ahead of time if there's going to be entertainment and if there's an event in town (Motocross was happening this weekend) to gauge the crowd and noise level before you go. The bar is fully stocked and they have a lot of craft cocktails to choose from and the drinks are consistently good. I had the Como la Flor cocktail this night and in the past I've enjoyed the Fera & the Dragonfly cocktails. The appetizers are great to share with your friends and there's lots to choose from. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and the mini sliders a lot and my friends really loved the chorizo flatbread. For the entree I got the smash burger and it's pretty filling and rich. You get fries with the order and the fries are perfectly crispy and tasty. For dessert we got the bread pudding, lemon cheesecake and lava cake. The lemon cheesecake was like biting a slice of lemon with some sugar. It's definitely for lemon lovers and I enjoyed it. Bread pudding ice cream was good but the bread pudding was alright and you can't go wrong with lava cake. Again, my only issue with the Peel is the service. It's not very hospitable compared to other restaurants I've visited. There was a bit of a wait from when we were seated to when our server showed up. He took our orders, the food and drinks would show up, and after that we didn't see our server for a while, so we were without drink refills and our table had dirty dishes that just sat there. I glanced around a few times and saw no servers on the floor, a server that was not ours that was far away or would try to flag one down for a refill on our waters but they were quickly leaving the area. We were waiting on the check, but just kept talking instead and then finally, when the check came we were in mid conversation catching up. He stopped by a few minutes later, picked up the check and realized we had not put our cards down to pay it and came back and dropped it off again. We paid using Google-Wallet at their point of sale system and sat back down to finish our conversation and the busser asked if he could remove the dirty dishes on our table and said, in a rude tone, "Yeah because we're closed already." We didn't realize they were closed since there was still a large crowd of people at the bar, and he could have said that in a polite way and said thank you for coming, but he made it known he has to set his jars of jam down on the table for breakfast tomorrow. Honestly, had our server come by much earlier and checked on us and left the bill, we would've left before closing. I don't usually think of a hotel restaurant as a go-to for dinner with friends, but this is the only one in a while that I would recommend because the vibe is unique. I hope the service improves, but other than that it's a solid restaurant.
