    Storing overnight for Sunday event.

This review is for the party trays...I went to two gatherings within a week of one another, and both served the teriyaki chicken (sauce on the side) that was piled so high for $118. Says it serves 16-20 people but we saw so much left over even after the 20 of us were filled on chicken, veggies $68 for full try and 1/2 tray of rice. I decided to order for my recurring Sunday gathering, but they are NOT open on Sundays! So with some prepping and batching, you can still take advantage of these tasty and hugely portioned trays. About an hour before serving time, Reheat at 300 with tray uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir or move the top layer of chicken around and put back in oven for another 10 minutes. Re-Cover with their foil and drizzle their teriyaki sauce right before serving so the meat doesn't get dried out. Veggies and rice trays/ batch reheat in microwave with wet/damp towels covering them. Put back in their trays and recover until serving It was a hit and we fed 30 people and fill up 10 to go containers!

This place is a nice quick service spot if you need something fast. There's a little bit of seating inside and a few tables outside as well. It's not my favorite teriyaki spot but in a jam it'll do. We ate here mid day to save $ before heading to Disneyland. They do have decent portions so you'll definitely hit your protein macros for the day! I wish their teriyaki sauce was a little sweeter, it was on the salty side in my opinion. The walls are decorated in cute coloring pages from customers.

Really good food. I got the number six.. which was a bowl of rice with orange chicken. The chicken was a little on the crunchier side, but I didn't mind that at all. The pricing was reasonable for the area. They had indoor seating, and the staff was so sweet. I'd definitely stop by again.

Bomb big portion food, with great customer service. Came here looking for a chicken plate and boy did they deliver. They are not skimpy with their meat, and to top it off it taste great. Next time I'm in the area and looking for a bowl, I'll be coming here

The food here is incredible! The chicken is so tender and I only didn't order extra meat because I was not too hungry but I will order extra meat next time. The service was friendly and prompt. Lots of tables outside but the inside was pretty full, as they only have so many places to sit inside. Looking forward to going again!

I ordered the teriyaki chicken and steak plate, and my boyfriend got the teriyaki chicken plate. Both of our plates were FILLED TO THE BRIM and it was SUPER CHEAP! I barely ate 1/8 of my plate before I got full, and my boyfriend couldn't finish half. It was really good, but definitely add the teriyaki sauce. Their teriyaki sauce is super good, and coming from an asian, not too sweet. A VERY underrated spot, and I will definitely come here again! The people running the place were extremely nice too!

    Excellent value.

Excellent value and great service here at Tikiyaki!! Got myself a chicken and beef plate with only veggies. Comes with an egg roll. 12.99. So much good I think I can get 3 meals out of this. Food quality is great. I wish it had some char flavor like some other places but overall still an excellent product. And excellent value. Next time I do want to try the orange chicken !

A lot of the reviews boast about the generous portions and good value. I absolutely agree. I also value that they provide the options of having brown rice without upcharging at additional fees. Eating our meal there, you can tell it was very popular with the large amount of pick-up and to-go orders. It's a mom and pop type of establishment where the people working there seem to have a relationship with the regulars and value the ideals of good customer service. Inside it's clean and well organized.

Piece of metal found in my teriyaki chicken bowl from Tikiyaki
    Tyler D.

It kills me to have to write this review. I have been going to Tikiyaki for YEARS. Food has always been amazing and the staff are great. They know so many of their customers by name and are always so friendly. Their teriyaki is the best I've ever had. Unfortunately, I ate there this past Friday (12/5/2025) at around 2pm. I ordered a standard teriyaki chicken bowl to go and ate in my truck. I ate probably half the bowl before I noticed a small, sharp piece of metal in my food. It was slightly twisted and thick. I could not straighten it with my hands and it took pliers to straighten (did this to see how strong it was and what type/where it could have came from) it was so sharp that when I picked it out of my food, it cut my hand and I was bleeding. Because of the size of it, I could have easily swallowed it without ever knowing. This is a serious health issue. Due to the fact that I ate half the meal, there was fear that I could have swallowed another piece of the metal that could have been there and I ended up in the emergency room. Because of the size of the metal fragment found, the doctor said a CT scan or X-ray would most likely not find anything that may be inside me. I was told that the next few days were critical and all I could really do was monitor for symptoms. The physician said that if I did end up with symptoms, that it's very dangerous and I would likely end up needing emergency exploratory surgery to find the metal causing damage. He also informed me that this injury as well as the surgery to fix it could cause other long term issues like lack of gastric motility. Because of this, I have no other choice but to write this review, and contact the health department. For anyone eating there, please be safe and keep an eye out for anything that may be in your food. I sincerely hope that this (or worse) does not happen to anyone else.

Nothing crazy, just genuine good energy where you can tell they enjoy what they do and are happy to talk to you. I ordered a Ka Moa combo plate with teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu as well as spam musubi. The food was, in a word, delicious! The chicken katsu was solid, not as crispy as I would like but I did take it to go so that factors into that. The teriyaki chicken was outstanding, perfect flavor, a slight sweet char taste where it was flame kissed, I would order this again and again! Their Mac salad is different from what you get from an Aloha or Ono, not as sweet and didn't have the tang but even with that I enjoyed it and would eat it again. The only thing I would skip next time is the musubi. While it was okay in flavor the ratio of rice to spam was so far skewed it didn't seem worth it. As a whole this spot is incredibly solid and more than worthy of a 5/5! I look forward to coming back and highly recommend you check it out

We both usually order the same thing every time she gets the salmon plate and I get the tuna and we've always enjoyed it enough to keep coming back. Today we noticed there was an option to add extra fish for $2.50, so we both paid for it. We also selected extra green onions, which is one of the free toppings they offer. When we got our food, it was immediately obvious that nothing was different. There wasn't any extra fish compared to what we normally receive, meaning we paid an extra $5 total for something we never got. On top of that, there were no green onions at all, despite specifically requesting extra. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating to pay extra for add-ons that aren't included, especially when you're a returning customer. We weren't looking for anything unreasonable just the order we paid for. Hopefully they pay more attention to customizations in the future because this experience definitely left us disappointed and questioning if we want to continue coming back..
