I didn't realize this was a David Chang restaurant until my first bite then everything clicked. The venue was so cool - the open air concept was genuinely comforting. The cocktails were very floral and the small plates were so flavorful. The hanger steak was so flavorful and so tender. The desserts were good, albeit a bit small and plain. Service was nice and well paced. Overall enjoyed the concept.

This hidden gem has a super cute and romantic ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. Everything was really good but a bit on the smaller side... for the table we ordered: Tuna carpaccio (10/10) ricotta, jam, and chili crunch (not pictured) (7/10), gem salad (10/10) grilled branzino (9/10) and asked for extra capers Dessert: chocolate pot de creme (5/10) Service was good but not great. I'll def be back to try to the Mushroom crispy rice! No parking so we ubered to the spot.

We arrived with a reservation for Saturday brunch. It was nice and quiet and there was plenty of space inside as well as on their nice patio. We tried the following: Bing Bun Basket with 3 sets of spreads (ricotta, jam & chili, honey butter, citron cream cheese & sesame): The bing bread was soft and warm, kinda like an airy pancake bread. The spreads were delicious. It was so good, we'd definitely get it again. Chicken Wings with sweet & spicy and honey garlic sauce: These crunchy fried drumettes were okay but not standout or worth the price. Steak Ssäm: We enjoyed the unique combination of flavors here with steak, shiso, pickled daikon, jalapeño, lettuce and rice. Choco Pot De Creme: a nice, rich chocolate pudding with whipped cream and crunchy flakes. Yuzu Medicina and Ichigo-Rita: decently strong fruity cocktails which we both enjoyed. Parking: There was an unstaffed, paid parking lot across the street.

The vibe was cute and all. Service was kinda slow for us. They took our drinks order then it took another maybe 30-40 mins for them to get back to us for our food. We were talking a lot so it helped killed time waiting for them to take our order. Food was okay. We loved the appetizers more than the main dishes. We ordered the ribeye and wasn't asked how we want it and i think it came out a bit near well done than we prefer and for it's price it didn't match the taste. Tye mushroom rice and the crispy potato tasted good.

There was a paid lot ($13), but we parked on the street instead. The restaurant is quite big with indoor and outdoor seating. Before arriving I already planned out what to order. We started with sliced hamachi (4/5). Then we had stuffed peppers (4.5/5), which were crispy and sizeable. Our main was the mushroom crispy rice (5/5). I love the different mushrooms and how the rice was crispy without being burnt. It was a comforting dish. As for sides, we had crispy potatoes (4.5/5) and fried cauliflower (3.5/5). I enjoyed the potatoes as they were soft inside while being crispy on the outside. I also liked the chili and garlic on them. Cauliflower is one of my go tos nowadays. This was probably the weakest dish for me though. Afterwards, I realized all of the vegetables I picked were fried. Oh well. We were quite full in the end and had some leftovers. We could've probably made do with one less dish. Service was good. The waitress was friendly and our water was refilled. She also helped us pack our leftovers. Overall, I enjoyed most of the dishes and had a nice time at this David Chang restaurant.

The table got quiet for a second after the first few plates landed, which usually tells you everything. I came to Majordomo for dinner with my family and friends, and it ended up being one of those meals where everyone kept reaching back in for another bite. We ordered the tuna carpaccio, bing with butter and honey, stuffed peppers, smoked fish dips, tapioca lo mein, saam, raw marinated prawn, and grilled prawn, and the whole spread felt thoughtful and genuinely satisfying. Nothing felt like filler. Every dish brought something different to the table, and the food was so delicious that it reminded me why this is the kind of place people keep coming back to. What stood out most was how well the meal worked as a group dinner. There was a lot to share, a lot to talk about, and plenty that made you want one more bite before the plate moved away. The tuna carpaccio and prawns were especially memorable, and the bing with butter and honey was one of those simple things that just hits exactly right. The tapioca lo mein, saam, stuffed peppers, and smoked fish dips rounded everything out well, and the meal never lost momentum. Service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly, and the staff checked in often without making it feel forced or intrusive. That steady attention made the whole dinner feel easy and welcoming. This was a strong five star visit for me. Majordomo is a great pick for a dinner with friends, especially if you want to order widely and share.

40 Day Dry Aged Steak

My partner took me here for my birthday dinner. It's a cool modern spot, dimly lit. My waitress was friendly and the sommelier was helpful with helping us decide on a bottle of wine. For the food, we ordered: - mushroom rice - snap peas - ricotta crispy chili jam - 40-day dry-aged steak The chili jam came with a very buttery naan bread. The ricotta was very creamy and silky. Still good, but this was the least of our favorites. The snap peas were very refreshing and citrusy. The mushroom rice is reminiscent of Chinese clay pot rice, where the rice is made crispy. We were nomming on this for the entirety of the night as we were waiting for our steak. The steak took about 30 minutes to come out. Our waitress graciously gave us complimentary sausage-stuffed fried peppers as an apology. This demonstrated really great service. Oh, and the peppers were dank. The steak had finally come out and it did not disappoint. My partner remarked it may have been the best steak she's had in a restaurant. It was a bomb-as-hell steak and I took personal notes for the next steak I'll cook up at home. All in all, it was an excellent dinner. Shout out to the service staff who made us feel seen, despite the late steak. I would come back with a larger group so that I can try out some of the other signature dishes that are meant to be shared.

We came here for Valentine's Day and, honestly, I didn't have very high expectations--but they completely exceeded them. Our server, James, was amazing. So professional and attentive--just an all-around great server. The Valentine's set menu was such a great deal, and everything that came out was delicious. The chicken was slightly on the salty side, but still really good. I especially loved that James suggested pairing some of the other dishes with the caviar--I'm so glad we took his advice because it made everything taste even better. The wine and sparkling sake were also excellent. My poor boyfriend was feeling really sick and couldn't eat much, but even he agreed that everything he tried was really good. The chocolate dessert looked very simple and anticlimactic compared to the other dishes, but the moment I took a bite, I was like WOW. I honestly haven't eaten at a restaurant recently where everything was this consistently good. I will for sure be returning.

Our starters - the carpaccio and sliced hamachi were delicious! The main dish, the boiled chicken tasted like what it sounds and leaves much to be desired. Its portioned for 4 but if you're not ordering many sides like us, 2-3 can finish it easily. The soup that comes with the chicken dish is also quite bland. Service was good but valet was $15 which I think should have been subsidized by the restaurant since there was little options for parking otherwise.

Honestly a little disappointed... First of all, we had a reservation and got there a little early, but they made us wait more than 30 minutes past our reservation time to be seated... Most of the food was mediocre Ordered Bo ssam- pork was dry and the sides were so small and not in proportion to the amount of meat given. Quality of sides were also whatever's Branzino- well cooked but nothing outstanding. But I did appreciate that they deboned it very well Mixed leaf salad- good, would get again if I ever came back Bings - the highlight of the meal and only reason I'd ever come back . Cultured butter and honey and the eggplant were both good. But again, dip to bread ratio is weird. Mushroom crispy rice was okay, a little too sweet Chocolate pot de crème- unique and has a Mayan chocolate taste, spicy! Too spicy in my opinion. Honey pie- okay but not that memorable. On top of the mediocre food and the long wait, I'd say service is very mediocre for the price point. The service staff were not very attentive and minimally polite. I'd expect this type of service at a casual restaurant, but expect a higher caliber of service for this place. The ambiance and decor inside was fine.

The mushroom crispy rice...so so yummy and I am not even a huge mushroom fan
Sarah M.

Went there for a friend's birthday and we had ordered the whole short rib in advance. Let me just tell you holy moly that was so good. So we had gotten two orders of the stuffed peppers, some of the bings and mushroom rice. And then the short rib came out with its goodies and more rice. The tenderness and deliciousness of the short rib. I'm still thinking about it. For six of us that was plenty of food and we were all very hungry. Everything tasted so wonderful. Service was great. There are two seating areas, outside and inside. The restaurant can feel a little loud but not bad.

Came here after bar hopping with the wife on a Saturday night. The place was very busy and loud so you don't have to worry about anyone listening to your conversation. Customer service by our server Daniel was excellent. Food was very good and my drinks were great but my wife's was just "meh". Place was decorated very nice. The only thing I didn't like was when I received the bill I noticed that there is a 3% charge for back of house. I'm assuming this is for health benefits or something. It is my belief that when you charge the prices this place charges they can afford to provide their workers the benefits they deserve. I'm not a fan of surprises and I did not see a sign anywhere letting everyone know they will be charged for this. I only took off a star for this reason and nothing to do with the service at all. Lots of free and paid parking available.

Came here during Valentine's Day weekend and had a great experience. We opted to go Sunday because they don't offer their famous crispy mushroom rice and only have limited options on the Valentine's Day menu. Hamachi Crudo (5/5): refreshing and delicious. Chili Crunch Bing (5/5): a must order, their bing is so good! Pork (3/5): nothing special about this, just tastes like galbi in pork form but it was cooked well. Crispy Mushroom Rice (5/5): wowow so good, one of the best things we ate here. Stuffed Peppers (3/5): this was just okay to me. Overall I had a yummy dinner at Majordomo and the service was excellent even though they were busy for the holiday weekend. I'd recommend sitting inside for a nicer experience as the patio has more casual vibes. If you have a Sapphire Reserve card you can also use your $150 Open Table benefit here! Don't think I would pay $300 for the meal I had, but it was worth using my benefit.

Hello! I made a reservation and the only option was "patio." Is this outside? If so, would it be possible to move inside? If maybe, I can call the reservationist. My mom is kinda particular...

The patio of completely covered with heaters. I've say in the patio during the "winter"months and been fine...but I was also drinking liquor. I'm sure they can accommodate of you call prior to your reservation. Enjoy! I absolutely love this place.

Dining room better or chef's counter?

I have not dined at the chefs counter so have no opinion but the dining room was very nice and a great experience.

Can you bring your own bottle of wine , if so what is the corkage fee?

Yes, you can bring in your own bottle of wine. Corkage is $40 per bottle and will go up to $60 after the second bottle or if it is a magnum. Thanks!

Is the prime rib (March 2024 menu) a family style format like the bo ssam and short rib?

It is! Its about 30oz, bone in. Served with horseradish cream, fresh grated horseradish and jus.

Can they accommodate for a gluten allergy?

I only sampled their food as part of a catering order but I'm sure with advanced notice they can accommodate you .

Is there a tasting menu available?

I have never seen a tasting menu. As of last month there was not one available.

HI. RE Boneless Chuck Short Rib Stew with melted raclette! I've been waiting 3 years for you to bring this back after pandemic! Any chance you will have it in June as I would love to dine with you for my birthday or anniversary? PLEASE! :)

Hi Brenda, at the moment the short rib stew is not slated to return, so it will not be on the menu in June. However there is still a possibility for future menu changes. Thanks!

What's the "PDR" seating on resy?

"PDR" is the abbreviation for Private Dining Room. When it is not reserved for a private event, it is open for general seating.

Does the short rib have sugar in it?

Yes, there is some brown sugar in the marinade.

Do they allow to bring in our own bottle of wine?

$40 per bottle for first two, then $60 for each subsequent

What is the "PDR" seating option on Resy?

Hey there! PDR means Private Dining Room, which is an adjacent seating area to our dining room connected by two large barn doors. When we do not have a private event, this part of the restaurant is open for general seating.

Do you have private rooms that can accommodate 6-10?

Hello! Yes, we have a private dining room that can accommodate up to 36 guests. For more information, please email domoevents@momofuku.com. Thank you!

I liked the pickled veggies that came with - they helped balance out the creaminess of the paté. Would definitely order again. 2. GREEN CHOP SALAD: I liked the chop salad! Flavorful, great mix of textures, and a great addition to all the savory shareable plates. Since we came during happy hour, they had a deal where you could order this and the Onion Noodles for a discounted price. 3. HAMACHI CRUDO: I've had too many hamachi crudos to count, and to be completely honest, they all start to blend together. This is a good one. Great appetizer choice, especially if you're ordering other dishes on the heavier side, like the chicken wings and onion noodles. 4. CHONG QING CHICKEN WINGS: I loved the chicken wings. Nice, crispy skin, but still tender and juicy inside. Other chili wings can be too oily, but these were perfect. I couldn't stop eating these. 5. SHANGHAI TRIPLE ONION NOODLES: Yummy! I loved the texture of the crispy onions paired with the noodles. This felt like a dish that could go well with anything else on their menu. 6. BLACK SESAME BROWN BUTTER RICE KRISPY TREATS: Of course we had to make room for dessert, and these were delicious. The stone fruit balanced the heaviness of the black sesame, which, if you've had before, you know can easily overpower a dish. SERVICE (5/5): Service was great. I like that you can order a beer for the cooks. In my head, it feels like I'm (hopefully) contributing to a fun environment back there. AMBIENCE (5/5): Good for dates or casual hangouts. I like their outside patio, especially when the weather is nice. PARKING (3/5): Street parking. TAKEAWAYS: I think a strength of The Airliner is how well the dishes all complement each other - the wings paired with the salad and the onion noodles hit everything you would want in a meal. The noodles are a good staple, while the chicken wings give you that extra oomph of flavor and crunch. The salad gives you a little break, and the paté you can snack on in between bites when you get a little bored. I would love to try their other dishes, like their curry crispy rice! Would definitely come back again. I was pleasantly surprised.

I had placed a phone order, for pick up; upon arrival, I found the service was prompt. I saw my food ready to go, just past the main walk-in area. Almost immediately after that, I was taken care of by the host and on my way. I've been waiting to try this place for ages so on the drive back to work I was excited to steal a piece of meat from the bag. Initial bite flavor was good, meat was tender just a bit on the chewy side.. I wasn't bothered by it too much as I'd have to leave it in an oven warmer at work. Trying to keep food warm, in doing so, I knew there'd be only two possible outcomes, melting tender or either tough & dry. So, the dish of meat and rice sat in the warmer for almost an hour hour and a half. The downhill slope.... Set the "meat " on the veggies and began to eat. Meat after meat, I kept experiencing the same exact texture. It was the same exact rubbery chew, I initially tasted. Each and every piece was the same exact flavor. There was no peak, there was no pitfall. If you cook or grill, you know this is a red flag. Normally, consistency would be a good thing, a Master craftsman type experience, but this was NOT it. As go on, I get the sinking feeling, this can't be real meat. I lock in, the deeper I dig, each piece looks the same, broken apart the same, tastes the same, just various shapes. They can call me crazy for this one - I'll stand by it. Something is not right here. I'm not even going to throw it away. I'm going to study it for the next few days and post an updated review. I hope I'm wrong but as of right now, I'll never revisit this place. Too freaky of an experience. We

Cotat is one of the most iconic Sancerre producers, and because his wines are built to age, finding a 2007 vintage on the menu here was a massive treat. Each time I've come the waitstaff has been super friendly, and the food amazing. So, when planning a little birthday lunch for my mom's 81st birthday, this was one of the first places I thought of. My mom lives in south LA and we live in the valley, so after picking her up, we wouldn't have to travel far to eat. Although we planned to arrive to the restaurant at 2, traffic was horrible and we arrived at 230pm. After looking for parking, I dropped the fam off at 2:40 so they could sit and look at the menu while I found parking. I get a text from my husband saying they closed at 3 so hurry. This was news to me, as I thought they closed at 5. I found parking and rushed in at 2:48, to see my family outside the restaurant. Perplexed, I went in to ask if we could still eat, as it wasn't yet 3pm. No wait staff came to the front to greet me, so I walked in a bit and asked the waiter if it was okay to eat. The waiter said we close in ten. I said I thought the website said you closed at 5. I must have read it wrong. I understand, but it's not 3 and we came a bit of a distance and it's my mom's 81st birthday. The waiter, whose name is Jack, offered to ask the kitchen if they would still make food. I said yes please would you ask? While Jack was asking, another waiter asked me if I had been helped. I told him yes, that Jack was asking the kitchen if we could still have lunch. This waiter says, we're closing in 10. I'd like to have lunch too. And walks away. Yes, with shade. Jack returns and says it's fine as long as we can order within a few minutes of getting the menu. I say great and we all come in. The 2nd waiter takes our order with the least amount of personality he possibly can, and the whole lunch is slightly awkward and we're not able to truly enjoy ourselves with the feeling of "we better hurry up and eat" lingering. By the time we ordered and received our food (which was delicious as usual) , there were still 4 other groups of customers there, and we actually left the restaurant within a minute or two after the last customers before us. Also, no one came around to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. I'm giving 3 stars because this experience didn't quite sit right with me. Yes, it was near closing, but your doors weren't closed and there was no sign saying last call/order at 2:45 or anything like that. I feel like once the kitchen approved making our lunch, customer service should have been at its peak for paying customers, who gave no attitude and tried to be as polite with the ask as possible. It was not. I still tipped 25%, because Jack (waiter 1) was polite and my 81 old mama who I was celebrating raised me that way, but I'm not sure I'll patronize them again.

Lasita has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while. I'm glad we made it there with a last…read moreminute reservation. This is located within the same plaza as Howlin' Rays and Tenren. We got seated right away in the "patio" even though we were a little early. We ordered shrimp chips, garlic fried rice, pork belly lechon and the chicken inasol. Everything tasted great, service was kind and friendly. Our order of the chips did not arrive and when we mentioned it to our server, the chips were brought to us at the end of the meal on the house. So thank you! It was also delicious! We are looking forward to returning to try other items on the menu.

Update for 4/8/26. Came back for dinner service, this time including my mother-in-law. The…read moreexperience was really good, with good (though pricey) food, and a hard-to-forgot crudo dish. The three of us came by car a little after 5 pm, parking on the surface lot adjacent to Far East Plaza (managed by Unified Parking; plenty of open spots; pay first using kiosk entering license plate number; display ticket on dash; $5 good until 8 pm). We had a reservation for 5:30, so waited in the common Far East Plaza courtyard, until they opened the doors (got some ice cream from nearby Scoops ice cream shoppe...never pass up an opportunity to eat good ice cream outside in LA). We were the first to be seated, and got a comfortable booth inside. By the time we left, most of the indoor seating had been filled up, so reservations are recommended for weekday dinner. Lasita is marketed as a Filipino Rotisserie with Natural Wine. It's a small, focused menu with a lot of interesting items that we wanted to sample. The portions tend to run on the smaller side, so we had no leftovers. Sinigang Shrimp Chips ($6) - shrimp chips can mean different things, here is the common version: the light fluffy brand (like Dragonfly) that you can buy uncooked and deep fry at home. It was very lightly seasoned with tamarind powder. Kinilaw Crudo ($21) - the best dish I ate here, savoring every bite. Kinilaw is a raw fish Filipino dish, which for me has always played second fiddle to a good Poke tuna bowl. I now realize it's because of the quality of the tuna in the past has been subpar. Plus as the name implies, this is really a crudo. In every way, this dish was better than any other kinilaw I've tasted, and was on par with the best tuna carpaccio I've eaten (a carpaccio is a type of crudo, just very thinly sliced). Like good quality sushi, the pieces were smaller considering the price, and made me wanting more. I wonder what they could do with a tuna collar. Chicken Inasal ($28) - why we came. It's a half-chicken (a steak knife is provided to cut into pieces), basted in a savory/flavorful butter. It's not a spring chicken (which is what we were hoping for), and the white meat wasn't the most tender/flavorful, but the dark meat pieces with the skin was wonderful. Pork Belly Lechon ($25) - 4 pieces of expertly cut lechon, served at the right time to make the crunchy skin still be softly edible, and the meat to be tender. This is a very well prepared lechon. Rice: White Rice ($3) and Chicken Fat Rice ($6.50) rounded out the meal. Buko Pandan Sago ($14) - unlike the other dish portions, this one was generous, with the right amount for the three of us to share. The base was pandan tapioca pudding, and used the strawberry, cream, and coco to produce a bite with texture and creamy sweetness. A great dessert. Service matched the decor/setup being cool and professional, and the noise level was low, making for easy conversation. The food came out as soon as it was prepared, letting us appreciate it in stages. They left us a water bottle for us to self refill our glasses, which I appreciated. Even though the restaurant was getting full, there was no perceptible rush from the staff for us to leave. We left after finishing our dessert, and stopped by the nearby hamburger place to get some to go.
