TLDR: A pretty dang delish Vox dupe! Sona Fusion Kitchen has been described as a crossover between Vox Kitchen and Sup Noodle Bar since they share the same signature dishes. We tried their Spicy Shrimp Wontons and Golden Pear Salad to start as well as the Lomo Saltado with Filet Mignon as the protein. The Spicy Shrimp Wontons were solid. They were tossed in a spicy sauce with scallions and were a cute start to the meal. The Golden Pear Salad really surprised me! It featured burrata, pear, arugula, honey roasted walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette. I loveee when a salad incorporates fruit and has a tang! Lastly, their Lomo Saltado was soooo good. Crispy fries, fragrant onions, tender beef, and a killer green sauce- it checked off all the boxes for me!
Starting off, this place is a small hidden spot but it's definitely not something to sleep on. Beginning with apps, the calamari is pretty standard and their truffle fries are pretty good! Moving to entrees, I have also tried the filet mignon with mushrooms and.... honestly.... I think it was skippable and I've heard good things about pairing the steak with garlic noodles instead. I PERSONALLY have not tried it YET, but expect me. Soon. Another DELECTABLE thing off the menu is the classic Thai tea. Kind of pricey for the amount they give you BUT it's an absolute must when you come. The true star of the show is genuinely the phö. I've tried many different bowls with meat variations and they always hit the spot. Their servers are very quick with bringing you it nice and hot. Sona Fusion Kitchen is a great late night spot if you've looking to put a twist on your favorite Vietnamese cuisine right after a trip to Disneyland. Or maybe just if you're an Anaheim local! A modern fusion restaurant offering a variety of Asian inspired dishes with Vietnamese influences. The interior was clean, with a mix of warm lighting and simple decor that created a feeling of comfort that works well for both casual and group gatherings. There were enough parking spots for the plaza. We really appreciate how the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. Ordered the following: - Garlic Chicken - Popcorn Chicken - Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries + Filet Mignon + Garlic Noodle - Signature Vietnamese Pho (special combination) - New drinks: Banana Matcha Milktea & Banana Coffee Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious! The one I liked the most was the Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries with filet mignon (which had a combination of tender steak, savory fries, and garlic noodles). The garlic chicken was savory and flavorful while the popcorn chicken was crispy and nice bite sized with a great balance of seasoning. Definitely would love to come back and try their other items!
I had a pickup order of popcorn chicken. It was just alright. The chicken was crispy and not dry. I do like the mayo sauce it came with because it is different. Though it did come with a decent portion that was filling, it is still pricey for popcorn chicken. The service was friendly. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store.
Sona Fusion Kitchen was SO good! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Great service and location. The calamari and garlic wings were the perfect starters, and the garlic noodles with chicken were seriously delicious. The filet mignon was tender, flavorful, and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. I also tried both the matcha and chai tea, and they were such a good addition to dinner. Great food, lots of variety, and everything tasted fresh. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the Anaheim area!

We are just a big pot full of mixed different flavors from all over the world put in one and this is just a perfect example of what the outcome is Sona fusion kitchen is a Peruvian/Vietnamese inspired concept restaurant I really wanted to try this place I person but after a long day at Disney I settled for DoorDash and I am more than glad we did because MAN this was phenomenal like actually exceeded my expectations and then some. We got the lomo Saltado with nice beautiful steak bites and crispy crunchy fries with a side of rice and Aji sauce. This was helllaaaa good like my pallet was going crazy I've only had lomo Saltado twice before this but this one takes the crown the beef bites were perfectly seasoned with amazing taste you could taste the soy sauce but not overpowering but the over components shined to small hints of vinegar and seasonings the fries were nice a crispy and topped off with the aji sauce chefs kiss. 10/10 Not pictured were the Lyche tea and strawberry peach tea Again amazing and perfect after a long day at the park I will definitely check this place out again next time we are in town but honestly don't think about it twice this spot was hella gooodddddddd Love from the bay area
It's a great comfort food place that opens late. I was specifically craving some pho and they did a good job- fair meat proportions, flavorful broth, and all the works. Not my favorite pho ever but still really good. My cousin ordered the Saltado lomo and subbed the rice with garlic noodles and it was a huge portion- I'd even say even for two people. The fries, beef, and garlic noodles were nicely flavored and all the right textures. Would love to go again!
Everything we had here was fantastic! Ordered: Garlic Chicken - deep fried crispy chicken coated with a mild garlic sauce Truffle Fries - addicting, so delicious! served with their house mayo sauce. Spicy Shrimp Wontons - make sure to mix well, these are plump wontons in a savory, umami sauce. mildly spiced! Garlic Noodles with Shaken Beef - OHHHH! tender meat paired with a buttery garlic noodle dish. Lomo Saltado - also very tender with a mild spiced aji sauce. Parking is available in their lot. AND if you're a Disney crew member, you get a 10% discount for every $60+ spent! ALSO, they are open late! So this is a huge plus for those who are coming from Disneyland late at night since it's only 10 mins away! Service - 10/10!!!

We checked out Sona Kitchen in Anaheim, and it's only about 10 minutes from both Disneyland and Angel Stadium. AND they're open until 1:30 AM every day, making it the perfect late-night stop after a long day at the parks. Sona Kitchen has an Asian fusion menu along with coffee and tea. We tried the new Banana Crème Coffee and Taro Milk Tea, and both were delicious. The Banana Crème Coffee was smooth and creamy, but recommend mixing the creme and coffee. The banana flavor was a little too strong for me. My bf said the Taro Milk Tea was refreshing and def can taste the taro flavor. We ordered the garlic chicken wings, garlic noodles, fish balls, filet mignon lomo saltado, and the Crab House Congee. The garlic chicken wings and garlic noodles had a good amount of garlic flavor, if you're a garlic lover, you'll definitely enjoy these. My boyfriend's favorite was the fish balls, which were honestly the prettiest fish balls we've ever seen. The filet mignon in the lomo saltado was tender, and the Crab House Congee was one of the most prettiest presented bowls of congee I've seen, loaded with toppings. This would def hit the spot after spending the day at Disneyland. We'd definitely come back to try more from the menu! We passed by this place all the time, but finally able to try last week. I really like the ambiance of the place. It gives that fresh clean looking vibe. It is simple decor with fake plant all around the area. The service was OK, nothing out of the ordinary since we didn't really need any help. Their menu is limited, but they did their food well. Price for phở is a little high compare to other pho place in Garden Grove, but the pho is very flavorful. Only negative thing I have for the pho is that they put too much fat broth. Some people prefer that, but I prefer more clean broth. Everything else is delicious, my daughter this is one of the best popcorn chicken she has. Overall, we would comeback. This restaurant is open late so maybe we do our late night snack run.

My boyfriend got the brisket pho and a Coke. The pho was good, and my boyfriend rated it a 7/10. He really enjoyed the flavor of the soup. The Lomo Salvador was amazing!** The fries had so much flavor, and the filet mignon was not dry at all. They also gave us a generous amount of meat, and a lot of the pieces had little to no fat, which I personally prefer. The noodles were super garlicky and tender. We ordered the lomo saltado shaken fries and the calamari. The lomo saltado was definitely the highlight! the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries had the perfect texture: crispy on the outside and not soggy at all. The sauce tied everything together perfectly, with a great balance of savory and sweet flavors without being overpowering. The calamari was also well-executed. It was crispy, tender, and didn't have any fishy taste, which I really appreciated. Another plus is that the portions here are huge, making it great for sharing with family and friends. There's plenty of seating, and the lively atmosphere makes this a perfect spot for a casual meal, family gathering, or a night out with friends. This tiny place was one of the only spots opened after a long day at Disney. I have to say the pho was soooo good! It was warm, more like hot! I felt like it was decently priced, and the service was pretty good! The restaurant itself was pretty casual, like we walked in and it kinda felt zen, you ate while you watched tv videos of food being made! Small perk if you work at Disneyland you get 10% off! Sona Fusion Kitchen! Located in a shopping plaza that both has businesses that have been there for ages, but has more switch over businesses. Currently I have seen the restaurants that pop up in this location, ive seen it at least 6 different things. I will say Sona is the first one that actually caught my eye to try, and I am super happy that I decided to come here during my lunch break. The pictures I uploaded are just the few other times I have come here. As someone said it best in one of the reviews, a Vox dupe. One thing they do have over Vox kitchen, most times there is no wait, at least the few times I have gone. There is plenty of parking, never had an issue. They are also open late which to get this kind of food at that late or early times, thats a damn treat! Inside always kept clean, the staff that work there are very friendly and on top of things. They checked up on us in a timely matter, cleaned tables as soon as diners left. The food came out pretty quickly too. Here is what I have had: Spicy Shrimp Wontons - These were good but I felt like they could have been better, mind you I had these not too long after they opened, seeing recent reviews it seems like this could have gotten better, I will try these again and update. Regardless they were still good! Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries: Each time I have gotten them has been the filet mignon, why because each time I have had them it has been too good, cooked perfectly for a nice texture, seasoned well that it doesnt over power other things, but more so compliments but uppercuts the tonsil to let you know its got beef with you. Now I have had this with rice and garlic noodles. I recommend going garlic noodles because they are delicious, lots of garlic! You know what compliments garlic very well....STEAK! I have said one thing Vox has on them with this dish, is Vox french fries are still super crispy even with sauce on them. I will say the last time I ordered this dish (last week) each time they have gotten better with the crunch! I will try the other proteins offered in due time! Golden Pear Salad: Delicious! Now I can't tell you if there serving size of this salad is bigger at Vox, but eating the salad totally made me forget about it. I am half lactose...my stomach decides what or when I will react to dairy, but that burrata cheese mixed with everything in the salad, it needs that creamy cheese to hold the sweetness and pepper like from the arugula. I will say I didn't dodge the burrata cheese and luckily it never got me, so huge win win! I also want to say I think its cheaper here than the vox, so its more manageable to always have this to start before the entrees. Signature Vietnamese Pho - Wife ordered this last visit with wagyu brisket, pretty solid bowl of pho. Is it my favorite no, but its better than a lot of others places I have been too. I think it will easily be a hit for tourists going to disneyland that has never tried Pho. In conclusion, Sona Fusion Kitchen has been a place that myself and the wife will crave. It also has been a easy recommendation for any one at work to go try. I know I have a few co-workers that have been multiple times now. Loved everything we ordered here! Ube Cream Vietnamese Coffee - strong how I like it! Banana Matcha Milk Tea - delicious combo! Pho Rib Bone Soup - comes with two beef bone ribs that are nice and tender Arugula Asian Pear Burrata Salad - nice and refreshing of you want some greens and something Filet Mignon Mushroom Stirfry - loved this!! This place always popped up whenever I was searching for late night spots after a long day at Disneyland. My friend and I finally gave it a try and immediately regretted not coming here sooner! Located just a couple miles away from Disney, this a great choice if you want some good quality comfort food. Their filet mignon is amazing, perfectly cooked and flavored - I'd recommend both the filet mignon fried rice and the lomo saltado if you're feeling like eating fries, and both of these plates are really generous portions. As someone who doesn't have a high spice tolerance, their green sauce has just the right level of kick, and it pairs well with everything. Their popcorn chicken & wings were both perfectly crispy and juicy, and not overly oily. Lastly, the server recommended the strawberry lychee lemonade, and it was perfect, especially on a hot summer day. It was just the right amount of sweetness and really refreshing. They also have pho, which I'll be trying when it starts to cool down, but those dishes also looked really good. The restaurant is a pretty good size and the tables are well spaced out, so it's not super noisy or chaotic, and the servers are very attentive - but there's actually a button on your table you can press to call them over if needed. There's also plenty of parking in this plaza, so that's always a plus. I took my family here for a late mother's day dinner and it definitely exceeded our expectations! It wasn't crowded at all and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was spacious and decorated nicely, and our service was quick and attentive. We started with the fried fish balls with roe. They were piping hot and oozing! The only thing I wished was that there was more seasoning but it was still good. We tried the lomo saltado and the mushroom and beef. Both were pretty similar in flavor with slight notes of the veggies they were tossed with. The fries of the lomo saltado were crispy and seasoned so well! The highlight of both dishes was definitely the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly! It was so tender and soft on the inside with a nice sear. Portions were also huge and definitely shareable because we ended up having a lot of leftovers. Overall I had such a great experience. There's a lot of fusion places similar to this with insane price tags, so this one definitely takes the cake for me! read more

Such a wonderful experience! The food was 20/10 -- we tried the lomo saltado, steak & mushroom stir-fry, Cajun wings, and truffle fries, and everything was so good! The banana coffee was also perfect, not too sweet, and the mango passion fruit lemonade was so refreshing. The prices are great, the interior is beautiful, everything was super clean, and the service was excellent, super quick and attentive. Definitely one of the top restaurants in Anaheim, and being so close to Disneyland is a huge plus! Plus, they're open until 1:30 AM -- how amazing is that?! Definitely coming back!!! read more

[ Food ] I ordered the Lomo Saltado with beef and it was so good. The beef was tender and the fries were still crunchy despite the sauce! Next time I would sub the rice with garlic noodles. The dishes were beautifully presented and had a lot going for it! The ingredients were fresh, the textures were well-balanced, and you could tell there was a lot of thought put into the preparation. Really hard for us to go for a dish without protein more so than the actual entree but that just says a lot for their salad! I loved all the flavors and texture. You can't tell from the photo but they give a good amount of Burrata cheese underneath and the pear is also there sprinkled with candied walnuts on top! And for the Lomo Saltado it was a solid staple. The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on inside. The meat was also tender and not overly seasoned. As for my personal taste, the spicy wontons could have used a little more depth and umami. That said, I'd still recommend giving it a try! Taste is subjective, and there's clearly a lot of care behind the dish. I WILL be back for their drinks. No notes for the ones mentioned because I finished all 3! OC fusion hidden gym! Sona is sooooo good. Such affordable prices and big portions and great flavors. The garlic noodles are a staple and a highlight. The filet mignon is cooked perfectly and the sauce is very tasty! The restaurant is nice and spacious with air conditioning which is helpful right now in the California heat. The service was fast and the food came out hot. I tried the chicken wings as an appetizer and the skin was super crispy and the meat was juicy. If you're looking for amazing late-night food near Disneyland, Sona Kitchen is a must-try. The restaurant just opened a few months ago and took over the Crispy Pork restaurant. The building is pretty easy to spot because it is located in the corner facing the street. The decor inside is fresh and news. The Peruvian-Vietnamese-Asian fusion menu is incredibly delicious and full of unique flavors. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The drinks were also fantastic and paired really well with the food. On top of that, the service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It's hard to find a spot this good that's also open late, especially so close to Disneyland. Definitely one of our favorite places in Anaheim that we have become regulars at. read more

Accommodating for a large party of 8 people for a late night meal after a convention. We were surprised seating for our party was fairly quick and staff was very polite and nice to all of us! The menu appears limited but has enough variety for everyone to pick and choose what they wanted. My husband and I ordered the garlic noodles with filet mignon and the wagyu pho. The pho was delicious - it came with the sides and a good service of beef. It was very filling. my husband loved the garlic noodles - he said it was the best he's ever had! We would always pass by Sona Fusion Kitchen and finally decided to give it a try. I'm usually a fan of fusion restaurants because you get to try familiar flavors done a little differently, so I was actually pretty excited for this one. It was also packed on a Saturday night, which made me think we were in for something good. We ordered the spicy wontons, Món Bò Lúc Lắc (shaken beef) with fries, which we got with the garlic noodles, and their signature pho. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but it also didn't really wow me. The garlic noodles were probably one of the better parts of the meal, and the chili wontons were good too. The shaken beef looked great, but I felt like the steak and sauce needed more seasoning or something to really bring the dish together. The pho was good, but again, nothing that really stood out to me. I will give them credit for the service though. It was extremely busy, but the young servers were still pretty quick. Maybe my expectations were a little high because of how busy it always looks, but for a fusion restaurant I wanted the flavors to be a little more memorable. I came in with my wife on a saturday. We got a couple of things. Ill start off with my drink, the strawberry lychee lemonade. 10/10. Super refreshing & tasty and it comes with the small crunchy ice. My wife enjoyed her banana matcha. We shared the lomo saltado shaken fries, Filet Mignon garlic noodles, spicy shrimp wonton & chicken pho. Filet mignon on both the fries and garlic noodles was really good, cooked well and had lots of flavor. Spicy shrimp wonton was soaked in chili oil. And my wife said the chicken pho was good, I didnt have any haha. Parking was easy to find and service was great, definitely coming back soon. read more

Food was pretty good and matched our taste. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a nice atmosphere. We were served by Vincent, who was super friendly and welcoming. He helped us switch to the table we preferred and recommended a dish that ended up being a great choice. Small things like that really make the experience better. Definitely recommend trying the Filet Mignon & Mushroom Stir Fry, it was delicious! The only downside was the Salmon Fried Rice. The broccoli and carrots were way too hard. I have braces, so it was difficult for me to eat, and even my friend, who doesn't have braces, had a hard time chewing them. Hopefully that's something the kitchen can improve. Hope the restaurant continues keeping up this great service! We'll definitely be back! read more
I ordered the pho with brisket, tendon, and flank, and I liked it. I usually get my pho pretty plain (no onions or cilantro), and even then it was still flavorful and comforting exactly what I needed after being out all day. I also got the tropical sunset drink, which was super refreshing. The calamari was a bit underwhelming and lacked flavor, and they didn't give us lemon for it, so I ended up using the lemon from my pho. The truffle fries were generous in portion. The only issue we had was with the service at the end. When we asked for the check, there seemed to be a misunderstanding. I just wanted to see a breakdown of the total to check if service charge was included, but it ended up getting confusing and we were charged separately in a way we didn't request. The server also seemed a bit rushed while we were trying to clarify. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but the checkout experience could've been smoother. read more

This Asian fusion place was perfect for a post-Disneyland recovery meal, especially since they're open late at night! Plus I love how they support Disney cast members with a discount! We ordered the house garlic noodles with filet mignon--super flavorful, packed with garlic, and coated in their house special sauce. At first, I thought they were spaghetti noodles, but they're actually wheat noodles. The dish reminded of Vietnamese bo luc lac. We also got the calamari as an appetizer, but I thought the squid was a bit too chewy and tough that my jaw started to hurt. There were two staff members working the front of house, and service was pretty fast. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee to-go, and they brought it out right at the end of the meal, which was convenient. The atmosphere was comforting and felt like home, especially with Vietnamese cooking shows playing on the TV. Definitely plan on coming back here when I visit Disneyland! read more

Been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got a chance tonight; it did not disappoint. Lomo Saltado was delicious. Especially loved that the fries were still crispy even mixed in with all the sauce. The Mushroom and Steak Stir Fry was also flavorful, saucy, savory, and a little bit on the sweet side, which I like. The steak on both dishes was tender, well prepared, "medium" just as I would've liked. Brownie points for staying open late (1:30AM!). Will definitely come back. read more

This surpassed my expectations, amazing Asian fusion spot that's open late night! Super close to Disneyland, so if you're tired of Disney food, this spot would hit for sure Garlic Noodles and Beef 9/10 the beef was juicy and sweet, reminds me of Bo luc lac. Garlic noodles were seasoned well and paired amazing with the green sauce (similar to Vox Kitchen) I drenched the noodles and the beef in the green sauce, that's mando. Truffle fries 9/10 can't go wrong with thin truffle fries, this bowl was actually pretty big and it was a great appetizer to snack on Crab Congee 100/10 the star of the show, the toppings in this was unlike anything I've had, the congee was super umami and it just tasted so comforting. I am used to just congee with soy sauce, but they took that to a different level. The flavor in this was amazing and the crab was sweet and delicious too This is def a place I'd come back to and I love how late it's open! Perfect midnight snack or meal :) read more

Came by to try Sona Fusion Kitchen for a late lunch with my husband and friend. There weren't any customers at the time since we came at a weird late lunch hour. We were quickly seated and the server was pretty attentive. We ordered the Wagyu Beef Pho, Popcorn Chicken, Saltado w/Chicken, Thai Tea and Strawberry Lychee Lemonade. Everything came out quick and hot! The pho was my dish and it was delicious. Beef was tender, not fatty and a lot was given in my pho. The popcorn chicken was tasty and definitely shareable. Restaurant is clean and cute, service is attentive and there's lots of parking available. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more
