I ordered the grilled chicken vermicelli noodle bowl, and they were very generous with the chicken (more chicken than noodles!), so I even saved half for lunch tomorrow. Old school PHO Near Disneyland. Kind of a hole in the wall, family run. Daughter busting 6-8 tables while mom and dad are whipping it up in the kitchen. Got to give it to the immigrants cranking up in our communities. I asked the daughter should I get PHO or Rice plate with pork chop? She was honest, says "Today's PHO is good"! This place has quickly become my favorite restaurant since moving to Anaheim. It truly is a hidden gem. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious and very reasonably priced. I've had the pork chop and the shaken beef, and both were outstanding. The filet in the shaken beef was incredibly tender and full of flavor, and the pork chop was just as impressive, juicy, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. You can barely see the parking lot and there was only one other party there. However, don't let that deter you because we were genuinely surprised how good everything was. LE'S PHO came out hot in a ginormous bowl. We got the works to try different cuts of meat. All were nice and tender. PORK CHOP PLATE was the star of the show though. They gave generous amounts of juicy marinated pork that could feed 2 people easily. I would come back just for this. Another plus about this place is the prices are incredibly affordable. Really yummy spot! The prices here are cheaper than several other Vietnamese spots and the food was flavorful. We ordered garlic fries, crispy rice noodles, and the filet mignon garlic noodles. Favorite dish was filet mignon garlic noodles because the meat was unbelievably juicy and tender. Noodles were well seasoned and unlike other spots they actually tasted like garlic. I judged this book by its cover and I was so wrong. Pulled up for early dinner around 5pm and the parking lot was empty! I immediately wanted to get back in my car and leave but I'm so glad I didn't. The food here is delicious! The pho ironically was a 3.5/5, broth was not as flavorful but the meats in the combination were bomb. The real stars of the show were the pork chops and vermicelli. The grilled pork chops were BIG portions and so so flavorful. The vermicelli was also phenomenal - the chicken almost knocked me out of my seat! Honestly a really solid place and relatively affordable! It's a mom and pop shop, so the food may take a while to come out depending on how busy the restaurant is. It's pretty spacious inside with some standard furnishing, and parking is decent depending on the hours you go. I've tried different dishes from the restaurant like the banh mi chao and the combination skewer meat (rice with grilled chicken, shrimp, and beef), and my parents normally order the pho ap chao. The pho ap chao is always topped with plenty of rich sauce, veggies, and some beef/shrimp - all while maintaining the perfect level of crisp. My mom and I always get the fries because they're perfectly fried with garlic and salt, and come with this tangy delicious sauce. (The last time we came, however, it seemed like the portion size on the fries was smaller :( hoping that was a one-time thing...). The banh mi chao was not bad, but I was a bit disappointed by the amount of meat it actually came with - however, for $13 it makes sense. The sauce reminded me of the gravy you get at Jolibee but richer! I really liked the combination skewer meat, specifically the chicken and shrimp, since the beef was kind of dry/tough. It came with a little salad and a lot of rice; for $15 that was a good meal! First time coming to this restaurant. It is about 10 min from Disneyland. Large parking lot, but the entrance needs help. Walking by a grungy path to the entrance, smelled a bit like garbage. The restaurant itself was large, we were seated right away. It was clean enough, but a bit dark and dated. Service was friendly. It seems family owned. Our server tried to answer our question about what she would recommend, but she seemed a bit taken off guard and couldn't answer in a coherent way. Our food took a long time. We waited 30 min for a bowl of pho and fried noodle dish. The place was half empty. Virtually unheard of in a Vietnamese restaurant! Not a quick bite on the lunch hour. The food itself was quite good, prices were reasonable. That is the only redeeming element to this experience. I've been coming here since they opened back in the end of 2020. Our favorites are Banh Mi Chao and Nui Xao Bo, I highly recommend them when you visit Le Kitchen. Yesterday was my husband's birthday and we got take out. He was extremely impressed with how easy it was to order over the phone. Then, when it came to picking up the food, he was helped to his car with his order. Our food was still hot and fresh when he got home. Spring rolls were tight and fresh. My husband enjoyed his sip of pho. We also ordered their garlic chicken wings. The batter was so crispy and they were not over salty or garlicy. Because we were feeling like having a feast, we enjoyed chicken and vermicelli as well as a pork rice dish. Presentation was still lovely even in styrofoam containers! It's run by a very sweet family and I love that I don't have to drive into Bolsa to get my Vietnamese food fix. The prices are also so affordable $11 for Vermicelli with grilled pork? Where else can you even find that deal. I see some people are turned off by the "slow service" and ambiance. You have to understand when you're going to a place that has a husband and wife working in the kitchen and 1 person in the front it's a small business. This isn't fast food and it's also not fully employed like most other restaurants. Maybe take this as a great opportunity to slow down? Their food is made to order and fresh every time. The place was nice, clean and simple. What I enjoyed the most about this place was the pricing! A lot of up and coming pho restaurants now and days are charging $16-$20 a bowl which is a bit high from what everyone is use to, but not here. This pho place was solid to get your quick pho fix. Food & Drinks: Vietnamese Coffee $4: Nice and Strong as it should be (asked for it to be in to a togo cup). Eggrolls $6: Came with 3 pieces cut in half (6 bites) and your usual side veggies to make a lettuce wrap with light fish sauce. I like to add the chili that's on the table to enhance the taste. It was nice, hot and crunchy! A good appetizer to share for two before your main dish comes. Pho Meatball $12: Solid pho, nice and clean with just the right portion to fill you up. The broth it self was good, but I think it could have been better. This came with your usual add ons (veggies) to put in your bowl of pho. I did ask for a side of white onions and there is a .50 extra charge. Some places charge for it and some places don't, but this place does charge. We wanted some comfort food and came across this place. My hubby is Vietnamese and has never heard of Banh Mi Chao so we were excited. What we ordered: Garlic Chicken wings- very crunchy!!! Good but average. Mi xao toi (garlic pasta) with Filet Mignon- good flavor and the filet mignon was super tender. Honestly I would say it's also just average. Bo luc lac (shaken beef)- beef mixed with bell peppers/ onions and Tossed with fries. I think the fries ended up soaking up all the flavor. They were tasty but ended up being soggy. The filet mignon was also very tender but not as flavorful as the fries...it was a nice cut of meat though. I thought the rice was a bit under and it actually looked better than it tasted. I guess I expected some kind of garlic flavor to it...so it was a bit bland too. Banh mi chao- pate gravy on a sizzling platter with meatballs, sausage (possibly a hot dog), cheese, eggs, and filet mignon. Served with a French roll for dipping. The of the night. Came out hot and unexpected. I thought it would be more pungent but the gravy is very similar to a stroganoff style sauce...perfect for dipping! We could have done without the hot dog, my husband didn't care for the meatballs (I liked it), but the filet was bomb! The shaken beef and garlic pasta had very similar flavor profile that I didn't get the variety that I wanted (not restaurant's fault). Both dishes were good but average. I would have given only 3 stars if it weren't for the Banh Mi Chao. Had to give it an extra star for that dish. Very different and tasty. Definitely the comfort food that I needed. Now go and order this...you might end up scraping the last bit of gravy with your bread like it did! read more

Such a hidden gem in Anaheim! The chicken pho is phenomenal and I could have it again and again. The place seems to be family owned, there were some complaints about the younger girl server but I thought she was nice anyway. The egg rolls were a true star at this restaurant though. Went here their pho togo. It was cheaper than most pho places but in hindsight, I can see why. The broth was not rich. It tasted like instant pho powder and it was too strong. Included thit thai (raw sliced beef), brisket and ONE meat ball, cut in half. That definitely isn't the "dat biet" or "the works" that's normally served at every other pho joint. We've been coming here every since when we both want our usual Vietnamese food. We always do phone orders and staff here always gets our orders correct. Shaken beef comes with choice of garlic rice or regular rice dish also has French fries with it which is great since my bf loves fries. My usual is the vermicelli with charbroiled pork and egg-rolls.
