Now now now folks this is NOT a drill......... When I say this might be the best pho in CA, it's up there no doubt! I am not usually impressed by most pho places from NorCal to SoCal, most places are around the same level and not many stand out. I came here at 10am opening on the dot for a solo meal with low expectations, the place is inside Lucky Seafood 2 and is less than casual even... If you're looking for luxury, this is not the spot for you. But if you aren't pressed about aesthetic and condition as much, you will not be disappointed here. Tom runs this as a one man show, he's got ONE thing on the menu and it's this pho w/ some quality wagyu! And it's the best pho I have had probably ever. Tom's hospitality is also so kind, approachable, and genuinely feels like I'm being fed by family! If you're lucky, maybe you'll get some amazing surprises and a few laughs with him. This will now be my go to pho!

When I went, I didn't see any signage outside, so if you don't know where to look for it (or if you're just walking by), you probably won't even know it exists. And once inside, all you'll see is a small folded sheet of paper with the words "Pho Akaushi" written on it. But once you find the spot, you're in for a delicious bowl of pho! As far as I can tell, it's run by one person at the moment (Tom, a very friendly guy who will chat with you if the place isn't busy). And there's no menu, so you pretty much just order the one thing that he serves: an $18 bowl of pho with very clean but flavorful broth with a variety of wagyu meats. I used to check out this spot when it was open in Lake Forest before it seemingly disappeared and then bounced around a few other locations, so happy to see it finally have found some footing in this new spot. But yeah, it doesn't seem like too many people know about it, yet so hopefully more people discover it soon!

It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive, so I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're in a rush. He also sat with us throughout our meal sharing his life story super friendly and genuine, but definitely not ideal if you're not in the mood for a long conversation. The place itself is simple and tucked next to a grocery store, nothing fancy. The pho was flavorful, though the noodles were a bit overcooked for my taste. Overall, it's a unique and personal experience so more like dining in someone's home than a restaurant.

They don't have a menu because they only serve one item which is wagyu pho. It did take a while for the pho to come out because they are short staffed, but the taste made up for it. I thought the pho was delicious! The broth was clean and full of flavor, wagyu was tender, and veggies were fresh. The owner was very nice and friendly. He gave me very refreshing water which I couldn't figure out what it was, which I later found out it was coconut water! No wonder it was so good. If you love pho, give this place a try!
If you are looking for A5 Wagyu beef pho, this is definitely the spot! Flavorful clear broth with high quality meat are all you need in pho. They also have egg rolls as appertizer and sugarcane juice. My lunch is completed!

The owner is very nice and has a lot of interesting stories. The pho was good and had a bit of a unique flavor compared to your standard pho. The meat was also very tender. If you ask the owner about it he will spill the secrets.
I've always said that my mom's pho is probably the best pho I've ever tasted, but I'll admit that Pho Akaushi is better than hers. The broth has a wonderful savory depth to it and the meat was perfectly tender. There is no menu and the only item they make is a one size bowl of their combination wagyu pho. Don't confuse this location with the one in Anaheim. This location is the one where Tom is at. He moves around to different locations but has been here for about 2 months now, just recently moving into the bigger section of the food court inside the Lucky Seafood 2 Supermarket.

From the start I was welcomed by Tom. The owner is a very skilled professional chef who specializes in wagyu beef. When it came down to ordering, the owner personally selected my order : 1 bowl of his famous wagyu beef soup. The bowl of soup that was available is one size and it is perfectly balanced with protein and noodles. The meat is super tender and you won't believe how the meat melts in your mouth. Succulent pieces of meat perfectly cooked to perfection. Your eating quality and it shows... BROTH: The cleanest and well balanced broth to add to the richness of the meat. Nothing was overpowering in terms of oily or heavy. Robust flavor in the meat brought out the distinctive taste of the soup. The vibe: located inside an Asian supermarket you wouldn't believe the gem hidden inside. This isn't a one of those places you want to miss if you're in the area. I'll be coming back here for another bowl in the future Yelp elite review 100/100

Located inside the supermarket, make a left when you enter and it will on your left. Pho is absolute fire here! Been to three other locations in the past and it's pretty consistent. Very flavorful broth, great tasting wagyu beef! I took one star off because we came on a Sunday morning. One person was working trying to do everything himself. Was visiting the great wolf lodge with my family when I had a sudden craving for pho (I am a pho connoisseur hehe) i found this place on yelp due to the 5 stars, and it did not disappoint! It is a little hidden as it is inside the supermarket, to save you some time. We drove around the lot looking for it - until my sister called and was told it was inside the store. The place was nice and clean. The nice man in there that was helping us, was wonderful to talk to. He helped us with whatever questions we had. I believe they only have 3 pho options which was Wagyu (what they're famous for. You can add meatball), shrimp, and chicken. All of us went with Wagyu. My sister and nephew added the meatball to theirs. The pho was delicious, hot, and the Wagyu was very tender. We also had their egg rolls, and it was absolutely delicious. I'm already thinking of this place for when we go back to great wolf lodge for our annual family get togethers there for the kids. Thank you for you wonderful service, and delicious pho! I remember eating at this Pho shop when it was originally on the 2nd floor at Saigon Supermarket. I've been trying to find it since, and I'm so happy the owner is still making pho. No pho place matches this one in my opinion. This is a true hidden gem of Orange County and is so consistently good. They only make one thing and they make it well. I've been to the other pho locations with a similar name thinking it was this shop, but I'm so glad I finally found the original location!! This has been my favorite Pho spot for years. The brand has moved around to different locations. And now lands inside the Lucky Seafood supermarket in Garden Grove, CA. I've been a fan of the product since day 1. The beef quality is top notch. It melts in your mouth. The both is also phenomenal here. I saw that there was a pho place inside the supermarket and was skeptical at first -- but I saw they have great reviews and wanted to try it. I finally was able to today and was blown away by the flavor!! I even remember telling my partner that supermarket pho isn't worth it (im Vietnamese so i was skeptical)-- he was all like so what happened to what you said LOL. I'm pretty picky about my meat but everything was so tender and good even the fattier pieces. I'm the type to spit out fatty meat, but I was able to eat this. They use a high quality type of meat that costs over $100! Woahhhh. The owner is also very welcoming, asked about me and my dad, and bonded well with us. My dad was lowkey in a bad mood earlier cause he was hangry but the owner put him in a good mood I also wanted to address someone else's review here -- Katie's. I don't like seeing people lie on a small business like that's so weird. Especially because she tore up their food. How are you gonna eat everything and leave a bad review over a miscommunication mane. As someone who was also here and experienced it first hand, you would know from signs that they don't have a POS system set up yet because they're newer and that it's being worked on. Because of that, they accept cash, Zelle or Venmo. Nothing suspicious at all, also very Vietnameseful, and the owner was only trying to offer multiple solutions he's a sweet older Vietnamese man. They also give out samples (located at the cash registers) because it's a way to get people to try your food and spread the word? Like Costco does this idk what the problem was. He wasn't pressuring or solicitous at all. People are weird and maliciousssss Anyways the experience was great, and my little sister at home even ate my leftover Pho crumbs and we fought over who got to drink the broth.
