This has become my go-to pho spot in Anaheim. Quality is always perfect and the same each and every time! Food: - #9 Rare Steak: I get this every time and it's never disappointed. Soup/flavor/meat is all great - #10 Steak & Brisket: the brisket was really really good, like melt in your mouth good. Service: standard service. I've always had a good experience here. Ambiance: it does feel a little stuffy in here at times. But the vibes in here feels like a classic pho shop.
I went to Thanh Binh Restaurant in Anaheim completely on a whim. It was close, I was starving, and I needed food immediately. That random decision ended up being one of the best food moves I've made. I ordered the pho, and it was so good that I honestly questioned myself afterward. Like... was I just that hungry, or was this actually hitting? I went back again just to confirm I wasn't tripping. It was still amazing. Rich broth, deep flavor, comforting in a way that feels earned, not rushed. The kind of pho that makes you slow down and appreciate what you're eating. The family that runs the place is incredibly kind, which makes the whole experience even better. You can feel that it's a family operation in the best way. Welcoming, genuine, and clearly proud of what they serve. There's no attitude, no rush, just people who want you to enjoy your meal. Their menu is huge. Like, they basically have everything. I haven't even scratched the surface yet, but that just gives me more reasons to keep going back. Every time I look at the menu, I see something new I want to try. It was clean and quiet. I really didn't know what to expect, but it hit the spot Overall, Thanh Binh is absolutely worth it. What started as a hunger decision turned into a place I'll keep coming back to. If the pho alone was that good, I already trust the rest of the menu. Total hidden gem.
Even now, this is still one of my favorite pho spots in the area. The broth is always so tasty and their egg rolls are some of the best out of any other place that sells them. The service is still amazing! The family that owns it is always so kind and they make sure you're taken care of whether it's a dine in or a to-go order. If you're ever in Anaheim, give this place a try!
Cost effective and fast Vietnamese food in Anaheim. It's located in a parking lot with lots of stores and vehicle + foot raffic but it's very easy to find a parking spot. We wanted something fast and lunch was impromptu, this was cheaper, just as fast, and healthier than fast food. Called over the phone and when I arrived 10 minutes later my order was being bagged. Interior is small but charming. It's not modernized at all in a good way and still has a nice 90s vibe. Egg rolls: these are much larger than normal egg rolls and come "plain" with only fish sauce for dipping. We cut these in half and basically got 6 normal size egg rolls at other restaurants. Tasted good and they popped the corner out of the to go container to keep them from steaming. Still crispy and nice when we got home. BBQ chicken and shrimp rice combo: not sure what the difference was with this and grilled chicken but the chicken had a distinct yellow color and tasted grilled with lemongrass. Shrimps were also well cooked and this did come with a side of tomatoes and cucumbers. Pho Tai Nam: they offer a small and large size, the small size is already ridiculously large and I remember when I was younger people tried to "compete" by finishing the large size, no more of that as we got older. Comes with huge bags of side vegetables and lots of meat and noodles
Super tasty and authentic viet food. We got the coconut shrimp, spring rolls, meatball pho, and chicken curry with bun. Everything was delicious, and the curry tasted amazing. The coconut shrimp was crispy and addicting. The Thai tea was on the sweeter side so I watered it down but it was still good. The restaurant was clean and neat, very nostalgic, and the waitress was so sweet. I'll be keeping this on my viet restaurant list.
I love this place so much. Been a loyal customer since 2016. They're friendly, you don't have to wait long for a table, they have a good sized menu, and they have great food. I tend to get their steak pho or sometimes the chicken pho; both are tasty. Their fried rice and egg rolls are also really good and both are a large portion. They have Thai tea, Vietnamese coffee, and the typical fountain beverages as drink options. Would 10/10 recommend supporting this small business.
The egg rolls are some of the best I've had. Lots of filling with thin wrap, fried perfectly and always crispy! Pho broth has great flavor. I usually get tendon added on to my pho tai and theyre not skimpy with it.
Wanted to try a pho restaurant that was a little closer than Garden Grove/Westminster and found Thanh Binh. Service was quick and friendly! 5 stars for service. The pho itself wasn't the best... specifically the broth was kinda bland and didn't have much depth/flavor. They gave a lot of meat (brisket and steak) but the meat was kinda tough. Hate sounding so picky but I keep comparing to the pho spots in garden grove and for the same price ($15 per bowl), I feel it's way better to go there.

6. Shaken Beef Salad w/ White Rice - Bò Lúc Lắc Tender wok-seared beef cubes tossed with fresh lettuces, tomatoes, and white onions in a light vinaigrette. Served with a side of steamed white rice. This dish was delicious and addictive. I bought it through Door Dash to be delivered at my job. The beef cubes, salad, and steamed white rice were put in seperate white disposable take out cartons. It lasted me for two days. The beef cubes in the sauce needed to be packaged in a well sealed disposable take out carton because it leaked through the entire bag and the disposable take out boxes. For take out orders, I feel that salad vinagrette and especially sauce for the beef cubes needed to be put in seperate well sealed take disposable cartons. I made vegan cheese nachos with part of my leftover beef cubes and then lastly added the seasoned sliced onions from the salad on the top of my baked nachos when it was done. read more

Delicious Bun Bo and great service! Came in for lunch and left full and happy. The food was flavorful, fresh, and served quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. I'll definitely be back! read more

Super tasty and authentic viet food. We got the coconut shrimp, spring rolls, meatball pho, and chicken curry with bun. Everything was delicious, and the curry tasted amazing. The coconut shrimp was crispy and addicting. The Thai tea was on the sweeter side so I watered it down but it was still good. The restaurant was clean and neat, very nostalgic, and the waitress was so sweet. I'll be keeping this on my viet restaurant list. read more

Place was small & empty which isn't great but also not a big deal. Service was quick, food came out quick & the bowl went pretty quick too! Nice bowl of pho. Good broth....Definitely not my favorite but it satisfied the craving. I would probably go back. I did not like that the sauces on the table were sticky & seemed kinda old. But that's just me being picky. Overall nice family owed business, if you're in the area try it for yourself. read more
After we got of the airport, we wanted something light to tide us over until dinner and hubby found this place near our hotel. It is located in a strip mall near Starbuck's. Free parking is available and the restaurant is clean, cozy and the servers are friendly. We ordered a seafood egg noodle soup to share and I had a Thai iced tea which was tasty. The soup was nice and hot and needed a bit more flavor but hit the spot. We might come back and try the pork chop and shaken beef. read more

Went 4/18/26 It was lunch time and I was in the area and looking for Vietnamese restaurant. Thanh Binh show up in my map and conveniently on way to freeway so I stopped in. First impression as I walked, small place good AC and clean. It was hot day and the AC was cold. I ordered the grilled pork chop as seen on the sign on the window. Actual food came out looking exactly like the photo and that was pretty good. It was tasty. I asked for chili paste for the fish sauce and server brought it out in a squeeze bottle and it was chilled as if it came out of refrigerator for freshness. Most Vietnamese restaurants just have it sitting in condiment bowl for who knows how long. I just had water and have to say they used filtered water or something with fresh lemon slices that was ice cold, so refreshing. It was a hot day. The service was great, the young lady checked in and topped off my water couple times. Overall very welcoming place, I would recommend and would come again if I was in the area. Suggestion to management to move your large window menu up so that we can see the outside. read more

After a long day at Disneyland, & just having "park food",we wanted something warm & filling for our dinner. I just searched on Yelp for nearby Vietnamese food. My son & I ea had pho w/rare beef, tendon & tripe, husband had the chow fun w/beef & shrimp. We shared the fried eggrolls, which came out piping hot & generously packed w/meat. The eggrolls were a nice start, our pho was pretty tasty filled w/beef slices, but light on the tripe & tendon. The chow fun was reported to be ok. Small place, nothing fancy there, service was quick & food came out fast. Nice find for the end of our day. Their closing time is 8:00pm. Couldn't find that info when checking out their Yelp page. read more

My family and I were looking for a place to eat on New Year's day and I recalled eating here years and years ago on Thanksgiving and remembered it was delicious so I suggested we go again. It's still delicious. Their broth is so clean and flavorful. Even though I was super full, I caught myself absent mindedly putting spoonfuls in my mouth because it was so good. The staff is so sweet and welcoming. We were greeted and sat immediately as we walked through the door. It was a very clean and calming environment. I would definitely recommend! read more
I took my kids to this place. We all agreed, that it was decent for a Pho place. It did not stand out, and it was definitely not bad. I have to say though, the strip mall that it resides in is very run down. We thought for sure that the prices would be cheaper. Not only was it not cheaper, but it is more expensive that Pho places in Irvine! Where you KNOW the rent for them is way more expensive. So it was puzzling to see the prices as they were. The Special Fried rice was $16. Slightly more than what we would pay in Irvine. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. read more

Quick review of this spot which I was happy to find near my office. I wanted some pho ga (chicken pho) during this rainy weather and found this spot. It's always a little suspect getting pho to go because of how the noodles and broth get colder but this held up. The broth was quite flavorful which was nice as some pho ga is just a plain chicken broth with a little salt. The chicken itself comes in slices and is little dry. They'd be better off shredding the chicken but it wasn't a big deal for me. Plenty of toppings and they added a chili oil along with the sriracha which was really good. Not the best pho ga I've had but it is one of the better ones nearby this area. read more
No frills pho place. I like that the soup was hot even after I was 3 quarters of the way through. They cook the noodles a bit Al dente so that as you eat it doesn't get too soft. I asked for steamed sprouts and he brought them out fast. The pho combo had a lots of meat and so did the chicken. Good experience for what it is! read more
Saw so many positive reviews on yelp so I thought I come and check it out. Thanh Binh Restaurant is located at a Strip Mall in Anaheim with good amount of parking spaces to choose from. Service was nice and ordering pho was extremely quick. We tried the Large Pho Beef Combination, which came with bean sprouts, mint, and a green pepper. Broth was decent and they gave a lot of noodles. Menu is simple and they offer some rice bowls and noodle plates. Restaurant itself is relatively small. read more
The pho was tasty. However, the shrimp pho made me sick. When it first arrived, it came with cilantro, onions, and other herbs in it. It seemed to be a soup that had been sitting for a while, based on the way the herbs looked in the bowl. I added basil and bean sprouts. I hadn't eaten all day, so I dug in. My stomach is a little sensitive right now. That's why I chose pho. I had pho from another place that I have been to, just the day before. It did not make me sick. The woman that greeted us was very friendly and we did receive quick service. Other customers seemed to enjoy their food. I first ordered my food to go. As we sat there I changed my mind and asked to have my food there. The guy cooking in the back made a big deal about it. Yelled at the woman that greeted us, saying that she took our order wrong. Which made her approach me while I was grabbing another menu to make sure she understood. I confirmed she was correct. We love this place! I usually get the vermicelli pork with shrimp salad, along with a small beef broth and eggrolls to share. The food is always fresh and delicious. They recently upgraded their seating and tables, which makes it an even better experience. I can't always make the drive down to Little Saigon, but having this amazing spot nearby is the perfect alternative. A great upgrade to a favorite place! read more

Came here on a Saturday Afternoon. They seated us pretty quickly. Ordered the BBH and Combo Pho. Both were alright. I have had better, but it is not terrible. I dont have much to say about it. BBH wasnt as spicy as as I used to.The soup wasnt a color was I used to, but it wasnt terrible. I will say that they did give a lot of meat which was great, and the meat was not too overcooked. read more
