    spicy wontons

My family was intrigued to try this place because we like our pho piping hot. We've been back a few times which just proves that we approve. We are usually seated immediately and service is great, even the time I went with my extended family when we were a larger party. It's pretty spacious inside and was decorated for the holidays! I tried their Hot Stone Special pho the first time I came here because it was what they are known for, and it felt like a must. I loved that it stayed very hot for the entire meal. Most of the meats were delicious and the ribeye was my favorite, but the brisket was on the dry side and was even thick and hard. I ended up just getting the ribeye pho in a normal bowl the next times that I came since it was my favorite, and it was still really hot and delicious! For their appetizers, I thought the spicy wontons were just okay, and the calamari had too much breading. I would probably skip out on them. I haven't gotten to try their seafood boil or their bò né, but those are definitely on my list of things to try. I always get their green thai tea to pair perfectly with my pho!

I like the concept for pho to be served on a scolding hot stone for raw meat to cook and pho to stay warm while eating. It looks like they used the korean hot stone called dolsot. The ingerdients when i went did not seem fresh and was slightly disappointment but it still was filling since the portion for one person was enough. I didnt even get to finish. It was not busy and it was empty when I was there. They have a membership for those interested in one and it had discount. Plenty of parking. Plenty of space inside pretty quiet when i went.

If you're in Garden Grove and craving pho, Hot Stone Pho is a must-try. The broth was incredibly flavorful and rich--one of those bowls you keep thinking about after you leave. The portion size was just right too, filling without being overwhelming. Definitely coming back for another bowl! Space was big and staff was great!

The Pho here comes out piping hot. And it stays that way in the hot stone bowl they bring it out in. Your meat, noodles, and veggies all come out separately. And you place it in your hot broth to cook. I also tried the wings, drinks, spring rolls, garlic noodles, and more. It's a fun experience for sure since I haven't had Pho this style before. Big space inside with lots of seating. The service was friendly and helpful. We had so much food, I was stuffed!

The interior is nice and spacious. Friendly workers too. The food was just not good. The meat for the pho and sizzling steak tasted old and spoiled . We couldn't finish both dishes because we were scared to risk a stomach ache

Had a great lunch here with delicious and memorable dishes! We had the hot stone special, short rib, and oxtail - all bomb but the oxtail has a special place in my heart. Super fall apart meat, fatty, and tender. The presentation is fun and makes sharing easy, and I like that you can customize your own mini bowl. Other standouts were the shaken beef with noodles, mango salad, and the strawberry green tea. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, clean, and good for groups too. Can't wait to come back.

First time here to try out the hot stone pho. The temperature of the broth in the hot stone pho was hot and it lasted longer than the normal pho bowl. It definitely had a lot of meat. Customer service was good and fast.

Yelp! Pho and this spot was on the list and decided ti go since we have not tried this pho spot yet. I'm surprised how roomy and big the restaurant is. Ordered the beef ball and brisket with small noodles in the regular bowl and I was surprised how much meats was in the pho. Broth very rich and tasty. Noodles cooked to my liking. Service was spot on and prices is very affordable comparing to other pho restaurants we been to. I will definitely be back and try the hot bowl next time.

Garden Grove is home to one of best pho places in CA, so there's definitely some expectations for this place. Hot stone special (4/5): This caught me eye as I've never had to dip my ingredients into my pho and it seemed cool. I think this is great for people who love to portion out their ingredients, but taste wise; I don't think there's anything too special about it. Definitely recommend this place for the experience.

Oxtail, thin noodles (they're a most), brisket
    Gabriela F.

The oxtail pho w/ brisket, & thin noodles continues to be my go-to order, and for good reason. The broth is deeply layered and comforting, the oxtail consistently fall-off-the-bone tender, and the brisket perfectly complements the dish. Each visit confirms why I keep coming back to the same bowl. Hot Stone Pho delivers a thoughtfully crafted, dependable experience that never disappoints. The staff is beyond kind & polite as well!

I LOVE the Pho here. Yes, the hot stone deviants are costly but it is a very good concept. The actual restaurant is VERY nice but I have been here for Hot Stone Pho twice at this location! This location is a very good place to go on a romantic date on because it is actually very quiet! Parking outside is awesome at lunch because there are plenty of spaces. Now, the Pho is saltier than other competing Pho restaurants.

I think I just found my favorite new Vietnamese restaurant. Hot Stone Pho serves some of the most delicious Viet classics, including phở but in the viral hot stone bowl and bò né. I loved how everything was beautifully presented, how quick the food came out, the luxurious interior, and how every dish was a hit! Couldn't be happier with my dining experience here. Make sure you visit if you're in the mood for Viet food! What we ordered: - Hot Stone Pho Special - ribeye, brisket, tripe, beef ball, tendon - Bò Né - sizzling steak & eggs - Saltado Shaken Fries - Pineapple Fried Rice - Strawberry Matcha Latte Coconut Smoothie

This is like a mini hot pot version with your pho bowl. The stone pot keeps the broth warm so you get to enjoy warm for a long time. Depending on what you order, they will give you a separate platter of raw meat which you cook in your bowl. I got the hot stone special pho and my boyfriend had the hot stone short ribs, which was already cooked. The restaurant was spacious and kept tidy.

    Premium bowl #6.

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

I'm a bit late getting around to writing this, and unfortunately, they are already closed, but I still felt like I had to share my experience. I'm not completely surprised that they closed, especially after trying their bò né. I've had this dish many times at different places around Orange County, and unfortunately, this was probably the weakest version I've come across. The first thing that stood out was the presentation. As you can see in the picture, there was this purple-colored sauce on the meat itself, which honestly did not look very appetizing. To make things worse, the sauce was cold and did not heat in time with the skillet, which really took away from the experience. The flavor itself wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't anything memorable. It was just okay, and when you factor in the cold food and the presentation, it made the whole dish disappointing. With so many places around Orange County serving bò né at a much higher level, I would probably recommend spending your money elsewhere. If you were wondering whether you missed out on some hidden gem, don't worry, you didn't. This one felt more like a piece of coal than a diamond. That being said, every restaurant has its journey, and with more time, maybe they could have found their footing. Hopefully, they can take this experience as a lesson, refine their recipes, and bring something better in their next venture. I am rooting for you Loi!

The food comes out quickly, the place is loud because it's packed, and you can definitely feel the hustle and rush. But honestly? Long wait, loud atmosphere, questionable $60 prawns... but I'd still come back for the seafood.
