Saw all the good reviews and decided to come here for an early dinner. Parking is easy but this place gets a lot of customers. So be prepared to wait a bit, as there aren't that many seatings inside either. Service was good. Waitresses were attentive Food quality was excellent. Ordered the boat noodle, chicken satay, and sweet and sour salmon. Rich flavorful boat noodle was very comforting to eat. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Chicken satay was very tender and the sauce had a lot of depth. Overall would definitely recommend this place for Thai cravings

We ordered the food and drink at the same time. The food came out quick, but i noticed the bartender made drinks when more tables got drinks. So multiple tables got drinks at the same time. I see why the fried chicken is popular because it is perfectly crispy with perfect coating. The pad see ew is perfectly sauced along with the fried rice.

Wow I'm so happy Hanuman is now in Orange! They've remodeled the whole building so nicely and surprisingly fit several tables. It's a bit of a tight squeeze but everything else makes it worth it. Service was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Suggested great items like the crispy wings, which was my favorite dish and the mago dessert. They told us this is a seasonal item, the mango is only up to their standard of quality 3 months out of the year. The ceviche was a wonderful surprise along with the rice puffs. Last, the Khao Soi got better as it sat there, so many layers of flavors and the crispy noodles were a great add on. There was a wait but it went by faster than suggested. They turn over tables very quickly but I wouldn't bring a very big party here unless outside seating is optional. I can't wait to come back and try additional items.

Hanuman Thai eatery is one of my favorite thai place. Been going to the one in costa mesa for a while now. I finally got the chance to try this Orange location. I came on a thursday evening around 5pm, got greeted and sat down right away. I told the waitress Nikki if we can do the dineThai deal, which included the fried chicken wing Gai Tod, green papaya salad, 2 thai ice tea and a free thai inhaler and lip balm for $45. We also ordered pad see ew chicken and drunken noodle pork. I've tried all 4 dishes at the cista mesa location already, I can say that the food here is consistent with the other location. The Pad see ew at hanuman thai eatery is the best lad see ew I've ever eaten and is my favorite and must order each time. Great flavor with a smokey taste, portion size good and good amount of chicken. The fried chicken wing gai tod is also a must order, super crispy, juicy, and fried golden brown delicious. At this orange location, you can only get the Khao sawan dessert here. I've had this dessert twice here already and I must say it is definitely a must order to end a perfect Dinner. The portion size isn't too big, but the unique flavor is really amazing. It is riceberry rice thai custard pair with meringue shards and homemade salted coconut ice cream with a side of crimble biscuits. I have to say, this orange location might of stolen me from the costa mesa location.

Food here was delicious and very large portions (family style portion), we got the pad see ew with tofu, green curry with steak and gai todd hat yai (fried chicken) and papaya salad. Everything tasted such high quality and well prepared. Put your name on the yelp waitlist as soon as you can. Came with a group of 3 on a Thursday night and waited about 40 min for a table.

I've been here a couple of times now and decided to try a few new dishes on this visit. Overall, it was another good meal, but a few items were definitely better than others. The papaya salad was probably my least favorite. I'd skip it next time. It was much sweeter than I expected, and the tamarind flavor was really overpowering. I was hoping for something more tangy, acidic, and spicy, but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The chicken wings (Gai Todd Hat Yai) with sticky rice was easily one of the highlights of the meal. I can see why they're so popular. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside while still juicy inside, and they paired really well with the sticky rice. The drunken noodles are still my go-to here. I've ordered them every time I've visited, and they're consistently delicious. Great wok flavor, plenty of spice, and definitely one of the better drunken noodles I've had. I also tried the pad see ew for the first time. The wok char and overall flavor were really good, but it leaned a little too sweet for my taste. Unfortunately, one piece of the pork was also undercooked and still pink, which was disappointing. I had high hopes for the Massaman curry with hangar steak, but it ended up being another letdown. The steak itself was okay, but the curry sauce wasn't what I expected. It had a different flavor than most Massaman curries I've had, and not in a way that really worked for me. We came for an early dinner, so there wasn't a wait this time, which was nice. Just a heads up though--it usually gets packed after 6 p.m. The service was friendly overall, but the staff seemed a little too eager to clear our plates while we were still eating, which made us feel a bit rushed.

This is the first time in a long time where everything from start to finish was incredible! We came in on a Monday night around 6:20pm and there was zero wait. Hostess was very welcoming and seated us quickly and offered us waters while we waited. We opted for the Saratoga sparkling water and the hostess even offered us lime slices without us needing to ask. We started with the Ceviche, it was sweet with a little kick of spice 9/10. Great appetizer to start so you don't get super full. I ordered the Panang Curry with the Hangar Steak. Holy smokes this was delicious 10/10! I opted for medium spice and it was sweet with a nice kick. My wife ordered the Green Curry with Shrimp. She loved it although it was a little spicy for her taste. 9/10 The mocktails... So dang Good!! I had the Samui which was very refreshing and minty. My wife Opted for the Coco Mango Mocktail and it was so good and fresh! We were bummed to hear they were out of the Mango sticky rice for dessert, but we opted for the Thai Tea creme brule and the Coconut Ice cream. Both were amazing but my wife loved the Thai tea Creme Brule and The coconut ice cream with sticky rice and peanuts was one of my favorite desserts I've had. 100% we will be returning! This will be our new go to date night spot!

All I can say is WOW! Stopped here while waiting for my car to get new tires installed. It looked delicious from pics I saw online and knew I had to stop in for a bite. They have a nice patio if you want to eat outside, a few bar seats, and tables surrounding it. Started off with a cocktail called something Samui, it was deliciously refreshing with natural mint flavors. For an appetizer I had to try the Son-In-Law's Egg. They're deep fried hard boiled eggs in a caramelized tamarind glaze. The batter they use to fry them in is so light it adds just the right amount on crispy to the outside. The glaze is perfectly sweet and sour. For my entree I had to try the Gai Todd Hat Yai. It's Thaj street food style fried chicken wings from the chef's hometown with a side of sticky rice and a sweet chili sauce. They were seriously good! The wings were perfectly crispy again with a nice light batter. They had a nice flavor and were super juicy. They came out piping hot too which was nice. The sweet chili sauce was nice to drizzle on top and the sticky rice was great. I had to get some curry to bring home to the fiancé so I got the green curry with chicken. It was a flavor explosion with a good spicy kick to it. She was very happy with it :) The hostess and servers were all very friendly and more than happy to walk you through the menu if you're unfamiliar with Thai cuisine or your first time dining here. If you have a chance I definitely recommend stopping by. I gotta go back to try at least 6 other dishes that look equally amazing!

I visited this place with my family last year and we agreed that Hanuman has the best crying tiger. Although the portions were small but I was willing to overlook it because the meat was very soft and very juicy. I didn't get a picture because it was gone so fast. Khao soi was also very enjoyable and they gave a lot of noodles. The chicken (Gai Todd Hat Yai) was crispy and delicious. The Mee klook noodle was okay but not my favorite. I ordered it because I wanted step out of comfort zone and give dry noodles a try. I guess it depends on personal preference.

Came on a Tuesday night and was surprised to be seated pretty quickly since there were quite a few people waiting. Sat outside and it still felt cozy. Service was great, but food wasn't really memorable. Got the wings that were recommended by the host and server and they were on the dryer side with not much flavor. Also got the crying tiger which was good, but the portion was tiny. The karee and mango sticky rice were very average. Overall nothing really stuck out other than the service. Most likely wouldn't come back

The food was really good. The Drunkin noodles had lots of flavor. The Lamb chops are good, it has peanuts so gave it a unique flavor. At the end we got The House special dessert, and was very good, super moist and mixed with sweet and salty. Service wad amazing and they were all friendly.

Our new favorite bougie Thai restaurant in town! Located off Chapman near the American Tire shop. It's a small, intimate space, so definitely make a reservation or add yourself to the waitlist when you're leaving the house. They also have patio seating! The restaurant has been renovated beautifully, and there was a line out the door our entire dinner. I really hope this place is here to STAY, especially since a few restaurants have come and gone from this location recently! Every dish that passed our table looked like a piece of artwork and smelled amazing. FYI, the bar is considered part of the restaurant, so you still have to wait to be seated there. We started with the chicken wings and sticky rice. The wings were crispy and packed with flavor! We also shared the Pad See Ew, one of our go-to Thai dishes, and of course it was delicious. The shrimp were nice and big too! The star of the night was the steak with Massaman curry... OMG. SO GOOD. The steak was tender and perfectly medium rare, and the flaky little breads were amazing dipped into the curry. The spice level is mild, but they give you sauces to add more heat. We definitely had leftovers! I also tried the Coco Mango cocktail. Very decadent and sweet! It could have used a little more ice since it was pretty warm inside, but still delicious. I love that their cocktails can be made with or without alcohol. The desserts looked incredible, but we were completely out of room. I can't wait to bring family and friends here because there are SO many things on the menu we still want to try! If you want, I can make it a little more Yelp Elite-ish and witty while keeping your natural voice.

If you haven't been to Royal Thai Orchid of late, you've got to make it a point to get there!…read more Their food is not only delicious, it was beautifully presented and reasonably priced. I've probably been to every Thai restaurant in Orange and hands down, Royal Thai Orchid is the best. We ordered spring rolls, yum woon sen salad, garlic chicken (not sure of the name) and coconut ice cream. The spring rolls with shrimp came with a tasty peanut dipping sauce and everything within the rice paper wrap, including the shrimp, was wonderfully fresh. The Yum Woon Sen Salad was absolutely Yummy (sorry, couldn't resist that). It is a salad made with mung bean noodles. The noodles were great and the salad was dressed in a mouthwatering lime dressing. Royal Thai offers a nice array of lunch specials for $12.95. Their lunch special entrees come with a small green salad, a little fruit, and of course, rice. It's a great price for such a delicious lunch! We ordered garlic chicken (not sure of the name) and was not only impressed with how delicious it was, but found that the veggies were perfectly cooked to a tender crisp. Even their lunch specials are beautifully plated. Their coconut ice cream was the best I've ever had. They make it fresh in-house and although they call it ice cream, doing so does not do it justice. The texture is unlike any ice cream I've had; you just have to taste it for yourself. I challenge you to find a $6 desert of this quality anywhere else in Orange. This restaurant has been around since the 80s but took a downturn around the time of the Covid shut downs. The new owners, Sam and Coco (yup, we had to ask), have re-created a terrific little restaurant for lunch or dinner. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed. Just a note: I typically order my Thai food "medium" but I did order the salad as a two out of 5 chilis and that was perfect for me. So if you're in doubt, err on the side of caution and start out with a little less spice.
