The wings were incredibly delicious--perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside. The papaya salad was fresh, vibrant, and exactly how I like it, with extra lime that gave it the perfect tangy and refreshing flavor. I've been here a couple of times now and decided to try a few new dishes on this visit. Overall, it was another good meal, but a few items were definitely better than others. The papaya salad was probably my least favorite. I'd skip it next time. It was much sweeter than I expected, and the tamarind flavor was really overpowering. I was hoping for something more tangy, acidic, and spicy, but it just didn't hit the mark for me. The chicken wings (Gai Todd Hat Yai) with sticky rice was easily one of the highlights of the meal. I can see why they're so popular. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside while still juicy inside, and they paired really well with the sticky rice. The drunken noodles are still my go-to here. I've ordered them every time I've visited, and they're consistently delicious. Great wok flavor, plenty of spice, and definitely one of the better drunken noodles I've had. I also tried the pad see ew for the first time. The wok char and overall flavor were really good, but it leaned a little too sweet for my taste. Unfortunately, one piece of the pork was also undercooked and still pink, which was disappointing. I had high hopes for the Massaman curry with hangar steak, but it ended up being another letdown. The steak itself was okay, but the curry sauce wasn't what I expected. It had a different flavor than most Massaman curries I've had, and not in a way that really worked for me. We came for an early dinner, so there wasn't a wait this time, which was nice. Wow I'm so happy Hanuman is now in Orange! They've remodeled the whole building so nicely and surprisingly fit several tables. It's a bit of a tight squeeze but everything else makes it worth it. Service was top notch, friendly and knowledgeable. Suggested great items like the crispy wings, which was my favorite dish and the mago dessert. They told us this is a seasonal item, the mango is only up to their standard of quality 3 months out of the year. The ceviche was a wonderful surprise along with the rice puffs. Last, the Khao Soi got better as it sat there, so many layers of flavors and the crispy noodles were a great add on. There was a wait but it went by faster than suggested. They turn over tables very quickly but I wouldn't bring a very big party here unless outside seating is optional. I can't wait to come back and try additional items. read more

All I can say is WOW! Stopped here while waiting for my car to get new tires installed. It looked delicious from pics I saw online and knew I had to stop in for a bite. They have a nice patio if you want to eat outside, a few bar seats, and tables surrounding it. Started off with a cocktail called something Samui, it was deliciously refreshing with natural mint flavors. For an appetizer I had to try the Son-In-Law's Egg. They're deep fried hard boiled eggs in a caramelized tamarind glaze. The batter they use to fry them in is so light it adds just the right amount on crispy to the outside. The glaze is perfectly sweet and sour. For my entree I had to try the Gai Todd Hat Yai. It's Thaj street food style fried chicken wings from the chef's hometown with a side of sticky rice and a sweet chili sauce. They were seriously good! The wings were perfectly crispy again with a nice light batter. They had a nice flavor and were super juicy. They came out piping hot too which was nice. The sweet chili sauce was nice to drizzle on top and the sticky rice was great. I had to get some curry to bring home to the fiancé so I got the green curry with chicken. It was a flavor explosion with a good spicy kick to it. She was very happy with it :) The hostess and servers were all very friendly and more than happy to walk you through the menu if you're unfamiliar with Thai cuisine or your first time dining here. We ordered our usual appetizer, Papaya Salad, and were someone disappointed with the flavor compared to other places we've tried. We also tried the Crying Tiger appetizer and that was well cooked and much tastier. For our entree we split the yellow curry and it wasn't what we were expecting. They served the curry with chicken breast which was good but the grilling flavor took away from the curry. Hanuman Thai has some really bomb ass flavors!! We got the Massaman curry, Thai fried rice, the Thai noodles Boran style and tried their lovely cocktail/mocktail drinks. The pandan cocktail was my favorite! Great execution, very professional staff and really good portions. The chef's special dessert was pretty tasty as well. I can see why Hanuman is popular; people kept going in and out constantly; the staff tries to keep to the 2 hour seating rules to allow everyone a chance to eat here. Came on a Wednesday night and waited about 15 minutes. Ordered the following: - Gai Todd Hat Yai $24 Fried chicken wings with sticky rice; would order again to share - Panang Curry with hangar steak $23 Has a nice kick and lots of flavor but personally wouldn't order again. Steak was chewy and flavor got tiring towards the end. I've previously been to their Costa Mesa location and was excited to try their new location in Orange. I tried their chicken wings with sticky rice and the Panang curry and both were very delicious. It was my first time trying their chicken wings, which came recommended, and they were so crispy and paired very well with the sauce. Stay with me here, I LOVE CURRY - in all its colors AND cultures: Indian, Japanese, or Thai, green, red, yellow (I am sensitive about spice....) add in some coconut milk...my oh my.... see...so for me it's easy to get lost in the curry and coconut and rice...that I "over look the thinness, minimal veggies, slightly watered down flavor..."but it's decent....sorta like white table wine in Italy! Hanuman is the opposite: The rich, thick, perfectly flavored curry sauce, is in EVERY WAY umami....the protein is presented apart from the sauce, atop a bed of rice, large, correctly prepared....it could easily stand on its own. I have only been twice, I am eager to explore the menu...but keep getting stuck on Massaman Curry with chicken. Everything looks amazing. Decor - clean, minimal, stylish. Wood, with tasteful cultural decor, and some playful kitsch. The bar has a generous amount of seats as well. The service is excellent, we had the pleasure of being served by Oscar, most recently. Their food tastes really good, some authentic flavors in it and the chicken hat yai is really good. The drunken noodles were good with pork too but not too spicy. Absolute banger. Top 3 Thai restaurants of all time. Number one thing you gotta get is their Hat Yai chicken wings and eat them things with hands. Grab that rice, dip in their sweet sauce, roll it around their crispy shallots, take a bite of that wing and rice. Thank me later. Everything about this place is 10/10 -- atmosphere, interior decor, attentive service, friendly hosts, food, food, dessert. Aside from the Hat Yai, we also got the Rad Naa and Green Curry, both yumms. And of course, when it's in season, do NOT miss out on the mango sticky rice. Our first exposure to this place was out in Costa Mesa where we got to meet the owner, Jenny. Couple years and a couple Hanuman expansions later, we see her again in our most recent visit at their Orange location. Always such a pleasant conversation. Delicious! I came here with family early on a Saturday evening (around 4:30pm) and got seated right away. The restaurant is on the smaller side and beautifully decorated. We shared Drunken noodles with chicken, shrimp fried rice, Panang shrimp curry, and mango sticky rice. The menu has just enough offerings without being overwhelming. The food came out quickly, I would say within 10 minutes of ordering. The shrimp fried rice came with large, perfectly cooked shrimp with salty egg. This was all of our first time trying the salty egg and the server warned us not to eat on its own but instead eat it with the rice which balanced all the flavors. I got medium spicy for the drunken noodle which was just spicy enough. The noodles were flat and fat with very tender chicken. The shrimp curry had a mild sweetness to it and also had the large and juicy shrimp. All the dishes were tasty and presented beautifully. Lastly, the mango sticky rice was sweet, soft, and the mangos were perfectly ripe. It was a great ending to the meal. Service was very prompt and friendly. You will not have any lingering empty stomach plates hanging out on the table and we were checked on often. Definitely worth the trip to Orange County! read more

This is Hanuman's newest location in Orange. Easy parking in the lot. We checked in on Yelp on a Friday around 5:30 pm and the expected wait time was 6:05, but ended up being seated closer to 6:15. The restaurant is on the smaller side with tables, booths, and bar seating. It was pretty loud inside but the decor is nice and has a slightly upscale feel. Service started a bit slow and it took a while for someone to bring water and take our order, though the staff was friendly. For six people we ordered the chicken satay, papaya salad, chicken pad thai, pork pad see ew, Hat Yai fried chicken, chicken yellow curry, and pad kra pao. Portions are normal sized and it was the perfect amount of food. The highlights were the chicken satay, pad see ew, and Hat Yai chicken. The satay sauce was unique, the Hat Yai chicken was perfectly crispy, and the pad see ew was packed with flavor. The papaya salad and pad kra pao were good but didn't stand out as much. They also have a great drink selection. I don't usually like Sing Tao, but Sing Tao on draft was something else. It was so smooth. The mango sticky rice beer and tom yum beer were both unique and worth trying. Overall a solid spot and I'd come back to try more dishes and drinks. read more

This was our first time at a Hanuman and it did not disappoint! We joined the waitlist on yelp which was super helpful because there was already a long wait when we got there and it just kept getting longer. Staff was very kind and considerate of us having two young kids with us. It's very nice inside and it is pretty small but they get people in as quickly as they can. We had the shrimp fried rice, tom yum koong, pad see ew, and based on recommendation we also got the Gai Todd Hat Yai (chicken wings). Everything was so flavorful and tasty. We're so glad they moved closer north! Their Costa Mesa locations are a bit too far for us (we drive from Diamond Bar). We watched a movie in Orange and decided to go eat at Hanuman in the area. They let you join waitlist from a distance so be sure to join early! We joined it as soon as we left the theatre but there 25 parties ahead of us and our estimated wait was about 1+ hours. For 25 parties ahead and how small the restaurant is, I'm so surprised how quickly they went through to fill the tables. We just walked around in the area and before we knew it, our table was ready! This is our second time but we remembered our first time at Hanuman at the CM location being so mind blowingly good. We weren't super hungry and the portions are quite big so we decided to just order the drunken noodles (our fav) and the Khao Soi! Drunken noodles are always a good go to and we've never been disappointed. This time, we felt like the Khao Soi got a bit overwhelming at the end. It is a thicker soup and we also came to realize, we're not the biggest fans of Khao Soi. It was delicious though! The other dish I remember being really good was the fried chicken and sticky rice. Visited Hanuman Thai Eatery's new Orange location last night and had such a lovely experience. I've been to their Costa Mesa location before and always enjoyed it, so I was really looking forward to trying this new branch, and it truly did not disappoint. Hut was very polite and respectful, and Jenny was just as warm and welcoming. Their hospitality made us feel comfortable right away, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The food was amazing, the ambience was beautiful, and the service was every bit as great as what I've experienced at their other location. It's honestly so nice to see a restaurant grow while still keeping the same quality, care, and genuine hospitality. We came into Hanuman Thai Eatery excited to try one of the bigger names in the conversation of OC Thai spots. Having tried and enjoyed Manaao and Chiang Rai, we thought Hanuman's new Orange location would be the right opportunity. The wait was quite long even on a weekday evening, so be sure to join the waitlist ASAP. We were sat outside, but it started to sprinkle a little bit. Staff were very kind and tried to move us into a more sheltered area. Unfortunately, there were only two of us so we didn't get to try everything we wanted. We ordered the massaman curry with hanger steak and the Gai Todd hat yai. The curry's flavor profile was on point, but was just slightly less flavorful than some other restaurants I've had it at. The roti was good, but the steak, while cooked near to perfection temperature-wise, was fairly chewy. The wings were very good, and the flavors even on the unseasoned wings themselves were great. You can tell their ingredients are high quality All things considered, based off what little we got to try, and the prices as well, I think that Hanuman just falls a little bit short of the aforementioned OC Thai spots. I think that for the price, Manaao specifically is offering flavors just as good or better (at least compared to this Orange location). That being said, I think Hanuman is worth a shot, especially if you're local! read more

Super exciting to see another location open outside of Costa Mesa, and honestly it's just as good as the OG! The Yelp waitlist was super convenient since we could join before even getting there. We went around 7 pm on a Saturday and the wait wasn't nearly as bad as the other locations. Inside is pretty small and intimate. The decor feels classy but still casual. Service was great since they were attentive and we got our food and drinks in quickly. We shared the pad Thai with shrimp, panang curry with chicken, and Hanuman's fried rice. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better! - Pad Thai with shrimp - It had the perfect kick! The noodles had a great chew, with egg and crunchy veggies mixed in. I liked that it wasn't overly sauced but still tasted well balanced. The shrimp had a nice grilled taste, and overall it felt more traditional than most spots around here, which I enjoyed. - Panang curry with chicken - Rich with Thai spices that's not too spicy. Definitely one of those dishes where you keep going back for more. The chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Way better than the steak I've had before that is always a bit chewy. - Hanuman's fried rice - My first time trying it and I'm glad I did! Really flavorful, with soft rice that soaked everything in without being overly fried. The sweet Chinese sausage with the Thai spices made it stand out. We dined at Hanuman in Costa Mesa before and remembered we enjoyed it, but this visit here wasn't so great compared to the last haha. This Orange location opened recently, and we came at 6:10pm to put our name down. The Yelp system said it was a 9-10 min wait. Time passed by and it was longer than 10 mins... even waiting for an hour just to get seated. The restaurant itself is pretty small, but everyone dining here just seems to be dining for sooo long. The waitlist would move very slowly. We finally got seated at the counter, which we already knew what we wanted so we immediately went to order. Luckily the wait to receive our food didn't take as long. We were sitting right in front of the bartender, so we got our Thai teas first. We ordered the Gai Todd Hat Yai (Chicken Wings), Khao Soi, The Son-in-Law's Egg, and the Pad Thai. The chicken wings were my favorite, juicy with a nice crisp. The sticky ride they had with it was pretty nice, but the chicken wings were the star of the show. The Khao Soi, I used to liked this one, but this one just seemed too heavy and rich. It was kind of overwhelming and flavors were on the sweeter side. Son-In-Law's Eggs was pretty boring, and all you can taste is the sweet sauce that was covered in. The egg was not special in anyway. Pad Thai was okay, although it seemed like there wasn't too much of an effort with flavor putting this one together. Overall, the experience was disappointing compared to the one time I had visited in Costa Mesa. We all seemed to think that most of the dishes were all on the sweeter side too. Hanuman Thai Eatery is off to a strong start. They had only been open about five weeks when we visited, and the place already felt dialed in. There was a short Yelp wait, but we grabbed seats at the bar instead and it ended up being the move. Service was a big standout here. Oscar took our order, walked us through the menu, and gave great recommendations, but the whole team was on it. Super friendly, polished, and great teamwork all around. The space is very clean, parking is easy, and even the bathroom passed the test. The hallway to the restroom was such a fun touch too! I felt like I was transported to Thailand. We shared two mocktails, the Coco Mango and Lost in Samui, and both were excellent. The Hanuman Ceviche is a must. We also shared the chicken drunken noodles with added shrimp, then ended with the Khao Sawan, a chef-original dessert made just for this location. Only small knock was the candle at the bar. It was a little too strong at times. Still, the food, service, and vibe easily carried the night. For a restaurant this new, Hanuman feels impressively polished already. We had an awesome experience here at Hanuman Thai Eatery. We came by for my wife's birthday lunch with one of friends. He said he had gone to the other location and loved it. The location shares parking with an America's Tire. Parking is offered on both sides of the building. The staff here greeted and seated us quickly as we arrived right around opening for service. The restaurant is nice and clean. The decorations/artwork are beautiful and all around the restaurant. It's a compact location with various table sizes and also a bar with some seats. We ended up ordering all of these to share as it's family style: -Pad See Ew with Chicken -Hanuman's Ceviche -Gai Todd Hat Yai (fried chicken + sticky rice) -Khao Soi -Khao Sawan (dessert) -Tom Kha & Mango Sticky Rice Beer I will cosign on everything dish we ordered. Each one was tremendous and as advertised! The presentation of each dish makes its easy to take a great pictures. The Pad See Ew was exceptional and one of better ones I've had. That ceviche is a must try! Great flavors and textures. The fried chicken was crispy and paired well with the sticky rice. The Khao Soi was full of deliciousness. It had all the right flavors and textures of a memorable Khao Soi. For the beers, go with the Mango Sticky Rice one. That one tasted good. Finally, that Khao Sawan was a must try to end the lunch for dessert. A great Thai dessert that is only offered at the Orange location. I hope this review did Hanuman justice. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to so far in SoCal. I came here on my birthday with my husband and our friend. My husband and I have never eaten here before, but our friend has been at the other location. It was helpful since he already knew which dishes we would like. The entire staff was so friendly and attentive. For the drink, I ordered a Coco Mango Mocktail. It tasted just like the mango sticky rice dessert, which I love! This was a delicious tropical drink I wouldn't mind having more than one of. Each sip made me smile. For the appetizer, we ordered Hanuman's Yellowtail Ceviche, served with Shrimp Chips. This was advertised as a must-try. They were not lying. We all loved it! The citrus dressing and microgreens really enhanced the fish's freshness. The shrimp chips were light, airy, and had a nice, soft crunch. For the main dishes, we ordered the Gai Todd Hat Yai and Khao Soi. My husband and our friend ordered Pad See Ew with chicken to share between them. Gai Todd Hat Yai's fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The dipping sauce and fried shallots elevated the dish as well. The Khao Soi had the fragrant, creamy, coconut curry base; the egg noodles and chicken were cooked to perfection, and the contrast of the crunchy wonton noodles really pulled the dish together. There is some kick to it as they serve this with a little bit of chilies. The Pad See Ewe and dessert were shared between my husband and our friend. They said both dishes were delicious. So I've been to the Costa Mesa and Newport location several times. At first it was pretty good but then it started to fall behind some of the newer Thai spots like manaao and chiang rai. I wouldn't want to come to Hanuman when those were around. It's been a while but we just went to this new Orange location and idk if it's cause we were starving but this time the food was great. I love Thai food, Thai culture, Thai beaches, Thai people, Muy Thai boxing (I trained with Fairtex) and Thai cuisine. This place is delicious and has great Thai food. Some amazing Thai food. Also don't like how they only let you get shrimp and no other proteins with it. I get it. In Thailand it's the same way. They don't do the "American style" Thai food where it's catered to the western palate. I do prefer juicy pork in particular Thai, nevertheless this was still bomb. Tad bland compared to what I'm used to. The Panyang Curry with chicken was also legit. Great portion and flavors. They don't have Coke products nor do they have diet sodas. Rating: 3.5 Stars Hanuman Thai is a very famous thai spot with multiple locations in OC, I've been to their Costa Mesa location and it every dish enjoyed was perfectly seasoned and umami flavored with depths! So naturally walking into the Orange Location I also had high hopes! They get very busy and the waitlist time isn't accurate so I suggest kindly checking in with the hostess and being mindful their wait times can be changing rapidly due to the volume of customers. The service is very nice and friendly they pay careful attention to your vibe and the food forsure, ambiance is always busy a bit crowded during dinner. My party and I ordered the Khao soi, Penang Curry with chicken, the chicken wings with sticky rice, mango sticky rice, tom yum soup. Everything was enjoyable but my party and I felt that the flavors were all meshed together and ended up being on all the sweet sides. We got very lucky coming for the soft opening and still being able to be seated. It's only the third day since opening for mainly friends and family. Overall our food and service was very pleasant. Service Our server was very good and the runner kept a very good eye on our table- plates that were finished were picked up quickly and they even changed our plates halfway through our meal. Courses were served accordingly with appetizers first and then entree and dessert. Ambiance The inside is very clean and organized. Lighting is a little different than the other location- the interior is brighter here and less dim than I expected for dinner. Tables were nicely preset. Food We ordered the flying tiger filet which was delicious and actually medium rare, papaya salad - very refreshing, pad see ew with chicken was delicious and the famous chicken with sticky rice. I went on a Wednesday and only waited around 5 minutes after joining the waitlist. Portions are pretty big, so definitely shareable. Service was not that great. They didn't come to check on us and I had to get their attention a few times. Salad Kheak (3/5): The peanut vinaigrette was very good. It came with a lot of tofu, but not a lot of salad. For $23, I don't think it's really worth ordering again. Rad Naa (3/5): The flat rice noodles were good with the gravy sauce, but I didn't like the chicken. We got here around opening and there was a line out the door. We added ourselves to the wait-list and decided it would be worth it because a few people in line had brought some newcomers & were raving about how good it was and that they have a line for good reason. We came, by chance, during their soft opening. Had no idea it was happening, the sign on the door said they were about to have an event for family and friends so we almost left but luckily, one of the people inside saw us and let us in. I've had their food before at the Costa Mesa location so I had good expectations but I'm glad that this location is maintaining that standard. I recommend the "Karee" if you're like me and you can't handle food that's too spicy but you like a little kick. Massaman would be the one if you like no kick, and I didn't have the Panang but I'm assuming that's the spiciest version. I've only had them with the hanger steak and they're absolutely delicious. Massaman also comes with roti and karee doesn't, in case you want to try the roti. Don't skip on the appetizers! I'm not a big sausage person but their Northern sausage is amazing. The Thai Sausages come in Northern and North Eastern style. I prefer the Northern just because it tastes like you're eating Tom Kha Gai. You can't really go wrong with anything on their menu. Though I didn't get to try them in this location, I've also had the pad thai, pad see ew, and tom kha gai at the other location and if they're consistent with all their dishes then they should also be great. The inside of the place is a bit small but it's very nice, I like the decor, and there was a good amount of parking. I'm not sure if this is always the case though because it is by an auto shop but I went on a Saturday and we parked very easily. Service was also great. Would highly recommend, especially if you're looking to bring a friend or family who do not have Thai food a lot or at all. I love Thai food so I can go anywhere from a hole in the wall to somewhere nicer. But this would be a great place to introduce them to the cuisine. read more

We had a large party (10) and they were able to get us all seated in a timely fashion. We had the two non alcoholic drinks: mango and guava. Both were delicious and we were so sad when they were finished. We tried so many things: by far we loved the lamb chops-- they were cooked to perfection! The khao soi was so flavorful and the chicken in it was perfectly prepared. We also got the pad Thai and pad see ew-- aways crowd pleasers. Oh! The papaya salad was delicious- the perfect balance of tart, sweet and spicy. The chicken wings were maybe our second favorite as the crispiness compared to the juiciness inside was ideal. The flavor was quite lovely on every dish and there wasn't anything we thought "nah, we'd pass next time". Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!! read more

It was my first time trying Hanuman and I had high expectations since I've heard a lot about it, I was a bit disappointed to find out the food didn't quite meet what I was looking for. Some dishes really lack flavor, like their pad thai, and their curry and soup was okay. For the price I would expect a little more. The ceviche was good but it was the most expensive dish on the table. Overall, I still enjoyed the atmosphere and service but I wouldn't get the pad thai again. read more

Wow! This was such a cute little spot, and I'm so glad I got to go here to celebrate a friend's birthday. The vibe of this place feels like an upscale Thai spot, but with the best and most welcoming service. I started off with their coco mango cocktail, which is a play on the mango sticky rice dessert. It was delicious, and almost didn't taste like alcohol at all. For my entree, I opted to get the yellowtail ceviche, which came with a side of shrimp chips. The fish was cold and paired with a sweet and savory sauce. Loved it! The restaurant itself is pretty small, so be prepared to wait if your group is more than 4 people. read more

My favorite thai food restaurant and I've been to many. This location in particular compelled me to write a review. I have been to the other two also. The food was obviously delicious and thoughtfully presented. The service was attentive. The ambiance was cozy. I'm seeing myself a regular here for a long time. The ceviche and coconut ice cream were my absolute favorite. Everything else was also delicious. My only wish was for them to add Ribeye as an protein option for their Khao Soi dish since that is my favorite but they don't offer it here. read more

Food was excellent! 10/10 Every dish we had was delicious. Portions are on the smaller to mid size, don't expect the big portions that you get from other Thai places. This place is more like an experience in every dish. Service was decent. 7/10 It was good but we felt like the servers kept trying to rush our eating pace and get us to finish sooner. They already asked if we needed a box for our fried rice 5 minutes into getting it because we were just chatting and working on it. Seating was ok. 5/10 In our case, we were seated right next to where they store all the Togo boxes and such and also the rear door so there were a lot of staff traffic passing by us. We noticed the other seats were not that great as well, don't expect much distance from the next table if you're a party of 2. very happy this location opened bcos the one off Bristol was always packed. the interior was nicely decorated, balanced comfort with aesthetic sophistication, featuring soft, warm, layered lighting, n comfortable seating. service was good. we ordered whatever was popular. we got Ceviche. the yellowtail was fresh mixed w/ the rice cake matched the flavor perfectly. next was tom yum koong. I was always a bit apprehensive w/ Thai soup bcos of its sourness but this one had just the right amount of sour, not too overpowering. the shrimps inside were very tasty. we got Panang , curry w the option of hanger steak. this one to me was the best. curry was nicely flavored and steak was cooked perfectly, lastly, we got the most popular dish I think and it was Khao Soi. the presentation was amazing. however, it was by far the worst dish. total opposite of Panag. this dish was very salty. I couldn't taste much other than salt. I wanted to finish since it wasn't cheap n didn't want to waste it but we ended up chugging water to offset that saltiness. of all the 4 dishes, panang was the best and also carried the best deal when you factor the size and cost. read more

A lovely Thai spot! I came in for an early dinner around 4pm last Friday and was seated immediately, though the dining room filled up quickly shortly after. The service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. We started with the yellowtail ceviche, which was the best way to open the meal. Served with shrimp chips, it was light and hit all the right notes--sweet, salty, and acidic. The signature fried chicken was another standout--it was perfectly crispy and flavorful. For the main, we had the Massaman curry with hanger steak. The curry was on the mild side, very nutty. However, the seak wasn't as tender or flavorful as we hoped. I'd be more interested in trying the crying tiger dish next time instead. For drinks, we tried the coco mango and 'ruk na' (lychee-guava) cocktails. I personally preferred the coco mango, which felt like a mango sticky rice in a drink form-- refreshing and creamy.
