My absolute favorite Thai restaurant anywhere in the world. The must get items are Massaman curry and their Pad See Ew noodles. Even all the cocktails I've tried there are amazing, and the service is always quick and friendly. Parking is usually available, but there's usually a wait (which you can get ahead on the Yelp waitlist online). This place is perfect for something casual with friends, or a cute date night with your significant other.

I was told this spot is one of the best thai spots in OC. Problem is OC's track record for delicious food is nonexistent. This restaurant did not change that opinion. To start off, service was inefficient and slow. 4 tables were empty for nearly 10 minutes while there were more than 20 parties on the waitlist with an entire crowd of people out front waiting. I got seated after waiting for roughly 45 minutes and ordered a pad see ew with chicken. Food came pretty fast within 5 minutes of ordering. The pad see ew was huge plate but its like the chef dumped an entire bowl of sugar into it. All I could taste was diabetes. Overall, cannot recommend this place to anyone. Long wait times because of slow staff, and one of the most common thai dishes botched. I should have just driven back to thai town in LA and gotten actual food.

Wait can be long so try to join waitlist on Yelp if you can. Pad see ew and gai todd hat yai are the two dishes I always get and I rotate between pad thai, ceviche, or a curry dish for a third or fourth. The desserts are also great! Can't go wrong here.

My absolute favorite Thai food. The Massaman curry with steak is so amazing. The pad see ew and drunken noodles are too salty. And the pork rinds in the mee klook were old. Skip the other stuff and just go for their curries. Service was pretty solid, it's only that the wait was super long. Called on the phone to ask if we could do reservations (none), but she didn't mention that we could sign up for the Yelp waitlist which was kind of annoying. For the atmosphere, sitting outside is nice if it's not too hot. Inside feels a bit cramped and gloomy.

One of the top thai restaurants in my book. The flavors here are phenomenal. we got the yellow curry with steak, shrimp pad thai and a thai tea. There was a 15 minute wait but it wasn't too bad. I loved the wok flavor of the noodles and the steak was super tender. 10/10

The food was all so amazing and came out quickly I'm so happy I had time to sit down instead of my normal to go order. Drinks were so delicious as well! Service was not great, numerous amounts of times we had no water(had to ask for more 3x after they didn't come back with water after coming back with our food), had the heater turned off and had to ask twice for it to be turned on as well.

Came in on a Wednesday night 6/3/26 around 9 pm and got seated in about 10 mins. I understand the hype for this restaurant now! The food was really good and I definitely want to come back for more and try their other menu options. I'm new to eating khao soi and this is the best one I've had so far. I loved the texture of the noodles and the taste of the curry, Very hearty and filling dish. I also loved their appetivers. The eggs sounded so simple but so flavorful that I think it is my favorite thing in the menu. The ceviche was so fresh and was a great palate cleanser. Will definitely try to get a reservation next time to avoid the wait and can't wait to try their other foods.

Joined Yelp waitlist from 4 mi away on a Friday night. The wait was about 1 hr 30-45 min, but it was def worth it. We ordered the Hanuman Ceviche, Gai Todd Hat Yai (fried chicken & sticky rice), and Panang with hanger steak. Everything was sooooo yummyyy!! The ceviche was my favorite! The yellowtail melted in our mouths, and the shrimp chips added such a good crunchy contrast. Tasted the Thai flavors too. I want more! The fried chicken was juicy, coating was crispy, generous portion, and the sweet and tangy dipping sauce tied everything together. Wished the sticky rice had been a bit softer/tender for my preference. The Panang was rich, creamy, and had a perfect kick of spice. The hanger steak was tender and soaked up the spices from the sauce really well. Only complaint is more meat pleaseeee hahah we had more sauce leftover and wanted more! Service was friendly and overall great. Our server even asked twice about food allergies Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!!!

Was staying at the hotel next door so joined the online waitlist. Our table for 2 came up pretty fast for weeknight. Come before 7 to order the mango sticky rice dessert ahead of time before they run out. We were also able to order food from the next door Etc bar x thaizakaya since it's the same owner. We also ordered two drinks but they accidentally made a different one so they gave it to us for free. Great service!

    Pad see ew (chicken)

I came here last month with 2 friends on a Wednesday evening, and we waited almost an hour long to be seated. Parking in the plaza was plentiful on the bright side. We first ate the pad see ew w/ chicken which was delicious, followed by the massaman and khao-soi. The food portions are generous, so I was quite happy with everything we ordered. The mango sticky rice had the most beautiful presentation I've seen in a mango sticky rice dish, and I would definitely order that again! The interior of the restaurant is a bit small, with the bathroom awkwardly located in the far back corner. Given how popular and successful Hanuman has become, I feel like there should be more space for customers so that the wait time can also be cut shorter. If I had to compare Hanuman to another Thai restaurant, I'd probably mention Manaao in Tustin. Can't wait to return and try other dishes!

Tried this place with some friends and enjoyed it a lot! The wait is crazy as expected but it was well worth it. We were lucky to get a table inside, as many people were being seated on the outdoor deck by the parking lot where it was pretty sunny and crowded. The restaurant itself was a bit warm too. The Ruk Na was really beautiful and had a delicious lychee flavor! Super sweet and concentrated for my taste, but a great summer drink. Family style is the best way to order here. The pad see ew was delicious with tofu - the portion was huge and I loved that it came with a side of chili fish sauce. The khao soi was also very delicious and rich with a good serving of chicken, beautifully presented! The crying tiger was just okay. Meat was very tender but the portion was very small for the price, and I wish that there was a jaew sauce to dip it in, it was on the blander side for me. But the Massaman curry with hangar steak was sooo good - cooked a beautiful medium rare and served with roti that was perfectly flaky and crispy. The mango sticky rice is also very pretty. The sticky rice was warm and soft with toasted coconut on top. Although the mango was very beautifully presented, I feel that the slices were a little too thin. A thicker cut would allow the taste of the mango to come through better, but since the slices were so thin I felt like it didn't taste like too much, if that makes sense. But soooo pretty nonetheless. Overall, great spot and would love to come again!

Nice and small Thai Street eatery near John Wayne OC airport. Always crowded and have long waitlist. In the evening, they use the patios and have quit few tables. We came couple time. Even with Yelp Waitlist, the waiting time is at least 1 hour plus! Located in a small strip mall next to Ayres Hotel. Next to it is a Japanese restaurant. Same owner. They offer their menu at Hanuman. Once seated, service was fast. Food is not bad. Not your typical Thai taste. Depends on your taste bud. Some has the chef's interpretation. Nice plating. Taste is hit and miss with the combination. The family loves the fried chicken, not too much on sticky rice. Same with the curry sauce. Nice steak but the roti is not dry. Interesting combination with fresh tasty Yellowtail ceviche with Shrimp crackers. Will try different menu next time.

It can get busy at this restaurant so know that there will definitely be a wait! It's a popular one Once you're seated, everything is super quick! Service was great and the food came out so fast. My husband and I ended up ordering: Manaao Thai Iced Tea, Green Curry with Beef Rib Eye & Roti, Pad Thai with Beef, Manaao Pork Jowl, and Thai Pandan Custard with Coconut Ice Cream on 6100 Sourdough Milkbread for dessert (limited quantities). What a fantastic meal! We ended up with enough leftovers for lunch the next day and I was so happy Everything was so delicious in its own way!!! The Manaoo Thai Tea (4/5): way different than a milky Thai Thea! It felt more soda adjacent and was refreshing and limey Green Curry with Beef Rib Eye & Roti (5/5): SOOO good and SPICY! Plus the roti was flavorful and crisped to perfection. Probably one of the best curries I've ever had Pad Thai (5/5): one of the best pad Thais I've ever had! What really stood out was the viscosity of the sauce. It was perfectly glossy and thick. Loooved the texture of everything from the noodles to the sauce to the tofu! I did think the sauce was a little on the sweet side, but I think that's just my personal preference. Next time, I will get double the lime (there was lime on the side, but I wanted a bit more to cut the sweet) and I'd like to try the dish spicy too Pork Jowl (4.75/5): simple but delicious! Perfectly cooked pork jowl. So juicy and fatty Thai Pandan Custard with Coconut Ice Cream on 6100 Sourdough Milkbread (4.75/5): TASTY! The star here was the bread. The milkbread was sooo good. Coconut ice cream was a bit on the icy side but still good. The Pandan custard was thick and velvety. A delicious dessert! I will absolutely be back! Can't wait to try more

Think cute and quaint with the expression of Thai cuisine. The dining room is on the smaller side, but embraces a cozy ambiance. If you want a little breathing room, the alternative is the outdoor patio where they offer larger tables and a spacious setting. Upon entry we were greeted and taken to the interior dining, we eventually decided that dining outside would be more to our liking and they quickly helped us relocate. Our waitress was friendly, social, and very knowledgeable. She was ready to provide descriptions of anything on the menu and expressed to us her favorites, which is helpful when you are faced with choices that all sound amazing. The menu is intentionally concise, not extensive, which we figured out once the food arrived why this was. The food has a visually captivating appeal and is even more delicious than we could have imagined. It is too bad they don't have pictures on the menu because all the food was beautiful played and a true feast for your eyes! A must try is the Thai Sausage from. The appetizers. It is cooked to perfection with a crunchy outside and tender inside, this sausage should not be passed up. Served with aromatic spice, ginger, onion, peanuts, and sprouts. Masterfully composed with the interplay of textures, just flawless! A great pairing with your meal is the Thai Tea. Typically, this is very sweet in restaurants, but they hit the mark with this harmonious blend. A plus is they have the soft chewable nugget ice! Another do not pass up is the Son-In-Law Eggs, thinly/lightly crisped exterior of a deep fried egg with heavenly caramelized tamarind glaze. Absolutely brilliant pairing with the shallots! Definitely an appetizer to remember, chef's kiss! We also had the Pork Fried Rice with subtle notes of garlic and soy, mixed with greens and onion to give bursts of color and texture. A fresh lime squeezed over the top gave it the perfect finish. My only critique here would be a slighter hand of salt for those who are watching their intake. Don't forget the Banana Pudding dessert because it is a delightful and velvety creamy custard with caramel sauce and cookie crumbles on the side, topped with whip cream. The food respects tradition, embraces refinement, and is simply exceptional. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other dishes they offer!

We ordered the following: * Fish cakes for appetizer, love the sauce that came with it. * Holy Basil with Crispy Pork Belly. This was full of flavor, and really love the sauce and everything that came with it. Definitely scored high on craveability. The only request I had which I relayed to the owner is - the pork belly was a little on the tough side. I made suggestions for them to try to remedy that. * Pad Thai with Shrimp was on point. Hubs enjoyed and devoured it in no time. * Thai Tea and Green Tea were on point as well. They have desserts coming soon that we cannot wait to try. While there are a few other spots in town that I would dub them supreme but for their offering, service, and ambiance, this is a great spot for business lunch, catch up, or family over delicious food. For this location, it is a bit small with limited seating. For large parties or families, you may have a longer wait time since tables need to be shuffled around. One of my favorite things to pair with our meal is their spice rack. If you are able to handle a bit of heat, ask for it and introduce the pickle chili to your dish. It elevates flavor with contrast quite well. Pad See Ew and Crab fried rice is what we ordered. The first visit had beef salad which paired great with the rest of the meal. Overall, stop by this location for good eats. FYI, parking can be tricky so be mindful about peak hours and carpool.

The food is always fresh and tasty ! I have been to the Irvine location however and notice the flavor is different there :/ so while I live in Irvine and work in Newport I prefer the Newport location. The service is always friendly and with our weekly visits our server often knows what we are going to get (when it's just me and my boss we split the eggplant Thai basil with tofu and the pineapple fried rice) when it's our team tho we all get our own items or switch it up ! The environment is chill clean and relaxing and right by the beach which is cool! If you are looking for absolutely delicious Thai food hit up Siam Station! I should have taken pics the food was too good and I forgot to take a pic but next week!

When it's bad, like last night - I don't even want to take more than 2 bites. I ordered the cashew chicken yesterday, the sauce was clumpy and almost like glue? Instead of a nice smooth sauce that tastes good. Additionally; the veggies, chicken and cashews in the dish were scorched! It was burnt and still packed up to-go by the cook. There were also pretty minimal veggies in it. I get the cashew chicken because it was nice large slices of bell pepper and other veggies.....yesterday was small, soggy, overcooked little pieces of bell pepper.... No thank you

They have a fast casual set up where you order at the counter and when your food is ready, someone will bring it to your table. Their menu is pretty simple and straightforward. They have Stir Fries, Curry, Noodle Soups, and Soups, and you can choose the type of protein you want: veggies, tofu, chicken, beef, shrimp, bbq pork, chicken satay, or fried chicken, each at different price points. We got a Pad See Ew with Chicken, and it was tasty! There was a decent amount of broccoli in it. They also ask you what spice level you want. We ordered mild, and it had a slight kick to it. We also tried their new menu item, Thai Basil Eggplant. It comes with ground chicken, bell peppers, onions, and jasmine white rice. I ordered mild spice level as well, but it wasn't as spicy as the Pad See Ew. It was still very flavorful and definitely goes well with the rice. It came out piping hot! I would get this again!

We kicked things off with the Beef Salad, which was incredibly fresh with tender beef, crisp vegetables, and a bright, flavorful dressing that had the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory. The Fried Chicken Wings with the Secret Spicy Sauce were the star of the meal. Perfectly crispy, juicy inside, and coated in a sauce that was addictive with just the right amount of heat. They're an absolute must-order. For our entrées, the Yellow Curry with Shrimp was rich, creamy, and packed with authentic Thai flavors. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the curry paired beautifully with steamed rice. The Ka Pow Ribeye was another standout, featuring tender ribeye in a fragrant basil, garlic, and chili sauce with bold, well-balanced flavors. the Thai Iced Tea was smooth, creamy, and refreshing! Bottom line folks is Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere that made us want to stay and enjoy every bite. can't wait to come back!
