Do not sleep on this Thai spot!! I'm still craving the dishes we tried at Thai Belly and day dreaming about the ones the owner (Kevin) recommended we try next time. These would make for great to-go options, even to bring back to the LBC for us. The flavors were rich, had depth and complexity, and felt like were made with the upmost attention to quality. Everything was so fresh. I forgot to take pictures of our friend's dishes, but they said they loved them too. The service for an order-at-a-counter spot, was still impeccable. Friendly and helpful staff who even brought out the food to our table. The owners are working out a new concept for Chino Hills - a Thai Hot Pot! Cannot wait to venture out and experience that too when it eventually opens.

    Braised Beef Panang Curry

Service: 5/5 Very friendly Food: 3.5/5 I felt like it could have been more flavorful and the braised beef could have been softer but besides that everything else was good. Atmosphere very spacious. Park on the street, tons of other shops nearby. Thai Tea a little pricey at $6 and extra $1 for no ice. :(

Got the pad siew lunch special that came with an egg roll and salad. The egg roll was crispy and flavorful, filled with veggies. The pad siew noodles were the appropriate texture. The chicken was a bit dry but that seems expected for a dish like this. The flavor was there but it was a bit on the salty side. I probably could've used some hot sauce but I chose not to at the time. This tastes like comfort food and Thai Belly is generally pretty consistent whenever I come!

Excellent choice for Thai food in a fast casual setting inside the Anaheim Promenade. All dishes were hits but I especially liked the Braised beef Penang curry, khao soi, and the spicy eggplant. Service was great, food took about 10 minutes even though it was busy. Can't wait to come back !

Great local place located In a small food court along with presotea and taco shop. The khao Soi was rich with knife cut noodles and also tried the beef panang.

First time eating here. We are from the Bay Area. We love Thai food and we chose this place because of the ratings. We ordered here for pick up and specifically said "no peanuts" on the Papaya Salad and Pad Thai. We picked our order not really checking to make sure there weren't any peanuts because we were hungry. We got back to the hotel and unfortunately they did have peanuts. The food went to waste, we didn't risk of anyone going to the hospital so we ended up getting McDonalds. Lesson learned, always check before leaving a restaurant. Thank you for your response. I am sire there is a misunderstanding. When I called to order I did say mo Peanuts on the Thai salad and Pad thai. I am sure the food the food was good it was just unfortunate we weren't able to eat it. We have always made sure that when we order thai food we have always addressed "no peanuts" due to allergy. Thank you.

Service & Ambiance: this place is located in an area with multiple food vendors. It is pretty easy to find, but some of the food vendors are already closed if you go towards the evening. The service was pretty nice and they provided us with water right away. Since my cousin has a cashew allergy. They insured us that the dishes that we chose did not have any cashews inside of them and I really appreciated that. There are a lot of seating options inside and outside even though it might be a little bit dark inside. Food: all of the dishes we had were overall pretty good. I had the yellow curry and that one was my favorite along with the fried rice. The salad with the beef was good but a little bit on the saltier side. Would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Oooh Mama Tom Yum Noodle Soup
    Tian107 L.

I came here with my dad to try out this Thai place and we wanted to try something new. So we ordered something other than our usual food that we were comfortable eating. We tried out the Khao Soi and Oooh Mama Tom Yum Noodle Soup. The Khao Soi was visually pleasing and consisted of a base of a mild yellow curry with some raw red onions, chicken, wide egg noodles, and crispy noodles on top. It was very filling but flavor wise I felt like the curry was very overpowering. According to my dad his Oooh Mama Tom Yum Noodle Soup didn't impress him... I guess but it looked nice. I suppose we would try more of the other signature dishes instead next time. Service was good, and the overall ambiance was very nice.

Pad See-ew with Chicken and Orange Chicken
    Jissela L.

The Pad See-Ew had a good flavor but the chicken was dry. The orange chicken was pretty good it had a bit of a crunch and flavor was nice. Would say that the price was a bit high for these dishes it was about $30.

Very affordable, and the staff is very friendly! The pad thai is delicious, tastes like an authentic pad thai. The chicken had a good texture and did not seem frozen prior to cooking because it was tender and moist, not dry. The noodles are coated in sauce and not dry like some places, it's got a good sauce to noodle ratio to ensure you can taste the flavor with every bite! The beef curry we got with a level 5/5 spice. It's got an impressive spice to it, pairs nicely with the rice so it's not overly spicy. The flavor of the curry is complex, it's peppery and fresh. The beef was good, but it could be more tender, but overall a great dish!

Thai food in a food court setting in the Anaheim Promenade. Pretty casual in an upend neighborhood and the price point is a bit higher that other places. Ordered at the counter and they bring out the food when you are ready. The tables and seating were clean. Had the Drunken Noodles which had just the right amount of spice for me. Remember to get the parking validation if you are in the structure.

Tom Yum Noodle Soup with Nom Chompoo (Pink Milk)
    Amy L.

Tried Thai Belly for the first time the other day, and as a Thai person, I approve! I ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup (medium spice), along with the Pink Milk (Nom Chompoo) - which reminded me of my childhood. The Tom Yum Noodle Soup came in a good-sized bowl with whole fried wonton skins on the side, which I appreciate (since I can control the crunchiness). My group of friends ordered: Pad Thai, the Fish Curry special, Drunken Noodles, Mango Sticky Rice, and one of the vegan Fried Tofu dishes. They all seemed to enjoy their dishes as well. We went on a Saturday night and the place had a consistent flow of customers which is always a great sign of good food.

I tagged along with my new Yelp friend, Bonnie--so fun to explore new food spots! Thanks for the invite! I really enjoyed the Khao Soi, the Spicy Chow Mein with Crispy Pork Cutlets, the Krapow Moo Sub Khai Daow, and the Panang Curry. Everything was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely come back with my husband to try more items on the menu. I know he'd love the Krapow Moo Sub Khai Daow. The ambiance is casual, like a food court, with the option to sit indoors or outdoors. Can't wait for our next visit!

There were 20 parties in front of us and it was a bit confusing at first but I luckily quickly noticed the Yelp tablet out front. We ordered the papaya salad, morning glory with crispy pork belly, drunken noodles with beef, khao soi with braised beef, and Chu chee curry with fried catfish. Everything was delicious and authentic and a hit with our party! We left stuffed and with leftovers but I will note the morning glory with crispy pork belly portion was a bit smaller than we've had at other restaurants. Dropped in solo, but ordered like I had someone with me. Service was great, very fast and attentive. Everyone I interacted with had a smile on their face. Inside was clean and modern. Ordered the Beef Khao Soi, the Papaya Salad, and the Crab Fried Rice. All of them were exceptional. The beef in the Khao Soi was sooo tender, the rich and creamy soup (broth?) with coconut milk was perfectly crafted. The Crab Fried Rice was delicious too. They have an option to go "super saiyan" on the crab for a hefty price... may be up your ally if you can spare the cash. Lastly, the papaya salad. A staple. A must order to gauge authenticity! Manaoo does their profiles right: the salad was super refreshing with a perfect balance of heat and umami. However my disappointment comes from the use of a shredder instead of hand-cutting. I know its for efficiency...but when I'm dropping close to $15 for this... I do expect a bit more refinement. Overall, Thai food is getting expensive, and Manaao is no exception. However Manaoo provides excellent quality and bold flavors with fresh ingredients; they make sure you want to come back for more. I'll be back in to try my other Thai favorites! Parking is abhorrent! Don't park in the adjacent lot. They do tow!
