My sister took me here last year and lives were changed. I finally showed my boyfriend this place and I gotta say, the quality and charm remained. I'm someone who's easily overwhelmed by bright lights so sitting inside a dark environment helps and also just looks cool. The booths are large enough to make things feel private so that enhances one's experience and enjoyment -- especially for people with social anxiety like me. The music wasn't blasting our ears off either. Everything came together nicely to feel like a welcoming little area. The staff -- can I just say whoever closed yesterday (October 11) you all did an incredible job and were all so attentive and kind. I don't expect much from restaurants that have a button to request service as it all depends on you, but they all made sure we felt seen and taken care of regardless of any requests. Our table remained clean and always had enough water. Our server communicated well with us and was overall just a pleasant person. I wish we had got his name to leave this review in honor of him haha As for the food, I will say this. It is a tad pricey if you come in with set expectations, but honestly, it does not disappoint. You get good portions, good quality, and good flavors. You get what you pay for here. I had a great time and this will always be a place I recommend to others :)

The atmoaphere was great, and their service was kind and generous. We didnt order much as it was right after donner, but we had honeydew punch, and it was a great dessert.

Came by with some friends to grab a late night snack around 10:30pm. Parking is kinda small, but there's street parking. When we got in we asked for a table of 4 and were shown to the table. The menus are on a QR code on each of the tables. They brought water cups, and a salad, which was good just a small portion. They also gave us small paper plates with a napkin, chopsticks, and plastic spoons. We ordered... - Corn Cheese = 9/10 tasty, and good portion to share - Kalbi Plate = 8/10 meat was tasty, tons of raw onions under and a salad - Pork Belly Plate = 7.5/10 not bad, it was cooled off and a little dry, but flavor was okay. we had to ask staff to check on it cause it took ~45 mins - Bulgolgi Tteboki = 5/10 wouldn't recommend. rice cakes were cooked to a good consistency, but there was little to no Bulgolgi. portion was small and not very flavorful - bottle of soju and terra beer = came with chilled shot cups and glasses Service was 2/5. Each time we needed a server we had to wave them down and the last time I had to go to the front desk to ask. Bathrooms were okay, clean. 8/10 There was also a Photo Booth in the back $9 for 2 strips. We didn't end up taking it but thought it was cool. Overall it's a lowkey place to chat with friends, drink, and have a snack. I wouldn't expect too much with service though, but it was cool to check it out.

"Nolza" means "let's play" in Korean. It brings me back to the 90's Korean drinking cafes in Koreatown, LA. I came to celebrate a friend's birthday this past weekend and had a great time! We ordered "Nolza Combo", which comes with a combination of food & drink options. We chose the bbq pork rib, chicken skewer, spicy seafood stew, and salad. Everything was SO good, but what stood out the most was their spicy seafood stew. It was AMAZING. Also, their food did not taste too greasy, which I really liked. My friends enjoyed soju & beer, and I enjoyed their Diet Coke which was also part of their combo. Other than that, Nolza is such a comfortable & fun environment. Loved their neon and bright decor, and also their Photo Booth! Can't wait to come and "play" here again soon. Cheers!

Went here with some friends, and the decoration was super fun for a pocha place! We ordered the Gaza combo, with came with one tteokbokki (we got the rose one), fried calamari, corn cheese, black sesame salad, one soju, one beer, and two sodas which I thought was worth it! Service was good, and it's definitely a fun place to go hangout with friends and have a good time.

My friend's chicken caesar wrap took a long time to come out of the kitchen but that was because they couldn't find us in the corner. My food, which seemed more complex, came out at a normal time! The bar forgot to make some shots we ordered but it was no problem taking them off the tab at the end of the night, if we really wanted the shots we probably could have reminded the staff but we were more focused on the game. One small piece of feedback was that there were 2 games going on an 5/6 screens were 1 of the games. We asked if the one near us could be changed to the other game and got conflicting information from two staff if they could do it. Rock and Brews exceeded each category and came in clutch with some bonuses! First, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! I had tacos, which were discounted for Taco Tuesday and allowed for a mix-and-match of chicken, beef, or pork. My wife had the Mediterranean salad, which she thoroughly enjoyed. We also shared a pretzel that was mega yummy. Second, beer! Lots of great choices, and if you prefer a mixed spirit, well, you're in luck, because they have plenty of those too. Third, vibes! Vibes like Cal Tjader came back to life. The place is decked out like your coolest friend won the lottery and created the perfect spot for all of his Rock & Roll lovin' homies to hang and chill. It is hard to pull off this level of focus without being a complete visual disaster or downright tawdry. Luckily for them, the designer understood the assignment. Well done, designer. You deserve a raise. Now, obviously, I'm a fan. One visit. That's all it took. But even after all of that goodness, there is one thing I must share, because it made a good experience a great one, and that thing is not even a thing; it was Matthew! Brother, thank you for being so kind and attentive. You are very talented, and without question, the quality of our experience is directly linked to your professionalism. I get the impression that no matter where you go, or what you do, the Force is always strong with you. Let's give Matt a raise too! And make him manager when you open the San Diego location.
