I went here yesterday and have visited a few times over the past several months. One thing I've noticed is that the level of hospitality can be very inconsistent. Some days the staff are warm and welcoming, while other days the atmosphere feels noticeably colder. The two younger male servers have always been nice and hardworking whenever I've visited. However, I've had a different experience with the older male employee and especially the female staff member who is there regularly. Her attitude seems to be very inconsistent. At times she is friendly, but other times she can come across as cold or unwelcoming. I've also noticed that she seems much more friendly and attentive toward customers she already knows. Overall, I think the customer service could be more consistent and welcoming toward everyone, regardless of whether they are regular customers or new customers and either they are korean or not read more

Came here for a girls night on a weekday, and the vibe was great. It has the potential to be loud, but the crowd that was there was very casual. The food came out so quickly and it was so tasty. The place is a bit hard to find if you go into the parking lot (I missed the giant sign out front, so i guess i went in through the back which doesnt have a sign). We went on a friday night around 8 and it wasn't too crowded yet, but we noticed it picked up significantly around 10pm. Of course we got a bunch of soju and beer. The cheese corn was delicious, but you need to eat it quick or it gets hard. Loved my visit at Haus Lounge today! My friend and I really wanted to have a soju today and found this place through Google Maps and decided to check it out! So glad that we did! The ambiance is very casual and they have TVs all around the room if you want to watch a game! It's definitely pretty lively and can get loud later into the night, especially on weekends, but still a pleasant environment! Service was outstanding! They have a button to press for when you need service, and they come as fast as they can depending on how busy they are! Among them, House Lounge was the best Korean bar I've been to in the US. At first, I thought the prices were a little high, but the portions were large enough for 2-3 people to share. The food and drinks were beautifully plated, making them perfect for Instagram posting. They offer variety of fruit-flavored soju, so everybody can enjoy it. The makgeolli bingsu (rice wine shaved ice) was especially amazing and made me forget about Socal's hot weather. We came on a Friday evening and it was pretty packed by 11pm. The food here was yummy. We ordered the fries which were a good amount of crispy, the fried chicken wings which were nice and crispy, the army stew, and shrimp pancake. The shrimp pancake was a little stringy and oily but otherwise tasted fine. The service here is great, they threw in a free pineapple for us at the end of our dinner. They have large tables on outside patio area for larger groups although it's a closed area with windows so it gets very loud/echoey and can be a little hard to hear each other talk, the inside area was much more quiet and cooler. I definitely underestimated this place because the vibes inside are great! I wish I got to take one of the Jinro toads home with me. Unfortunately, the customer service left something to be desired, and I didn't really feel welcome as a Korean-American at this establishment. Anyway, onto the food--the spicy seafood pasta and garlic chicken were both tasty. My boyfriend and I were so indecisive on our date about what to eat, so it was a relief that the quality was decent. They also gave us plasticware, which was strange, but at least we were given wooden chopsticks. This place would be best for groups of friends, since it slightly resembles a nightclub. The entrance was a little frustrating to find because we tried opening like 2 doors before finding the right one (facing the street). Other than that, I do love how they decorated the interior. It somehow looked bigger in the pictures though. I would say it's worth coming here at least once, but it's definitely a place you'd enjoy more in the late nighttime. read more
