Our server initially comped us a free bottle of soju bc he brought the wrong brand but then he continuously comped us more bottles of soju & beer. ALWAYS THE GO TO SPOT!! I love going to pochas and gastropubs, late night eats and drinks. I frequented Korea Town in Los Angeles every week, since I wasn't aware of any late night spots with the same energy or atmosphere in OC. If you like to go to Sojuya, Kappo Honda, etc the like you should come here! The store is great for accommodating small parties I'd say up to 6 before you start combining tables or sitting split up. They also have table set up outside classic plastic stools and table style, which is great if you decide to order their BBQ which you can grill yourself. Food- Portions are great for the price and same with the variety of options that I would say are not as common as other places in OC. Versus other spots with mid fried food or basic items I think you can actually both eat a meal and snack as you go. I recommend the stir fried gizzards(comes with a separate salad similar to ones served at kbbq), beef tartare, and the NEW item slice pork belly with garlic sauce. Service- IS GREAT!! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. More so a relaxed environment for both customers dining in and staff. Atmosphere - Dark restaurant with neon light decor and patio lights I believe outside. It is a smallish restaurant so it feels cozier honestly. Wait- Honestly it depends when you go. Sometimes even if it is pretty packed I have only ever waited up to 10 minutes or so. And that's at around 11PM. Location- You have to turn into a narrow plaza. It has little parking especially when busy, I sometimes resort to street parking. There's karaoke and other restaurants in the next door plaza to hit up after if you go early enough. read more

It was my first time having bosam and it was delicious! I loved wrapping it in the lettuce. The sauce on the chicken wings were so good and the wings were so hot, prepared to order. The fish cake soup was not mini and came with giant portions. I loved the rabboki. It was a bit spicy, and had great flavor. If you are seated outside, they do have heaters! We had a pretty large party and although they don't take reservations, we called them anyway to forewarn them that we'd have 14 people in our party. We were seated towards the backside of the restaurant, but still received good service from them! I wish I had more pictures for you, but everyone swarmed towards the food before I could take any more! The food was good, although I do not recommend getting the fries (unless you're already drunk). Fries were below average, but can be nice to munch on. I was the designated driver, so my taste buds weren't impaired haha. All the other items we got were delicious though. On top of the Army Stew and Chicken Wings, our group also got the Korean Beef Quesadilla and the Kimchi Pancake. I especially liked the chicken wings! They were crispy, cooked perfectly, and paired well with the sauce! I asked for the sauce on the side. We primarily came there to drink and I was surprised to find out that they offer zero sugar soju! If you're looking for a fun Korean night lounge to hang out in, this is a pretty good spot. super chill and hole in the wall spot in Buena Park usually when I drink I like to eat fried food, soup and tofu kimchi and I've tried all three from there and it was delicious. highly recommend mini odeng bar if you are into fishcake soup. its more than enough to be shared with 3-4 people and it reminds me of bar in korea. I also love that they bring out the butane gas stove and I prefer my soup to be continuously hot. good selection of korean food to pick from. last time I went I tried their rip tip pancake and that was pretty good and they didn't have enough so they gave us mixture of roundy. its mixture of young and older crowd and if you go early the parking isnt bad but it does get crowded at night time so you may have to park on the street couple more menu items I am actually looking to try next time I go only downfall is distance from me but worth the drive and the vibe read more
