In's Ice Beer was an amazing time! We ordered the fried chicken, bacon cheese & potato pancake, beef sukiyaki, cup ramen fried rice, and ice somaek -- and honestly everything was delicious. A few standouts: the cup ramen fried rice was such a unique concept -- light spice and a subtle crunch from the noodles that made it really fun to eat. The beef sukiyaki was another one -- cool concept and the meat quality was really good. And the fried chicken was boneless, light, and perfectly crunchy. Portions are generous and the price point is very reasonable for what you get. The interior is really warm and aesthetic -- cool vibe all around. Staff was attentive. There can be a wait so plan accordingly. Can't wait to come back!!

Haven't stopped thinking about the Ice Beer since I tried it!!! The amount of people waiting to be seated before us intimidated me, but we were seated within 1.5 hours! Our table got the Spicy Egg Drop Soup, Boobmoja Spicy Chicken, Corn Cheese Gratin, and Beef Sukiyaki to share. I really can't remember which one was so spicy that we ended up using the ice beer as a great refreshment LOL My favorite was definitely the spicy chicken, and I have a feeling that was the spicy culprit. The beef from the sukiyaki portion was smaller than my group would like, so definitely keep in mind so you can order something else to offset that. Service was quick and food came out almost right away! It's a great alternative to Misoolkwan if you want to try it out :)

I came here because I heard this famous Korean franchise finally opened in Buena Park. It's located on the first floor of The Source mall, so parking is easy and there's plenty of space. The restaurant itself is also large with lots of seating. The iced cold beer was especially good. The mug was served ice-cold with a light frozen layer at the top, which made the beer extra refreshing. The prices are reasonable, the food comes out quickly, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Overall, the food was very enjoyable. The Boonmoja Spicy Chicken had a nice kick, and the noodles were pleasantly chewy with a flavor that felt unique compared to other places in Buena Park. The beef sukiyaki was also impressive. The presentation was well done, and it comes with a burner at the table so you can continue cooking it while eating, which made the experience even better. I was very satisfied with my visit and will definitely come back again.

If you're looking for a new place to eat and drink and be merry with friends - INS is your new go to. Hanging out on the outer fringe of The Source, INS has a variety of foods to choose from to follow up with some delicious and crispy ice beer. Service was great, and you order dishes and beverages through the iPad. Ambiance was pretty fun for a Korean pub - but be wary, wait times can be long, so plan ahead!

We were seated right away on a Tuesday night at one of the middle tables and ordered the chicken rice cake, tofu skin udon, bacon cheese pancake, and three draft beers through the tablet. The beers took a bit longer than expected- about 10 minutes passed before we flagged down a server to remind them, but once they arrived, they were cold, refreshing, and delicious. We had to flag another server for water, and noticed other tables were given crackers while we never received any. The rice cake and tofu skin udon were much spicier than expected. The bacon cheese pancake was nothing special. The salad ended up being the best dish of the night. They also did not have air conditioning, and I noticed people stepping outside for some air.

Wow! Actually pretty solid! The food is easy to order via the tablets, the food tastes good, and the portions are large! The ice beer is cold, refreshing, and incredibly satisfying FYI - Our party of 3 waited 1hr on a Friday night, but was initially told it was a 30 min wait. They have the old school write your name down type of waitlist, so you cant really leave the vicinity to kill time.

Very fun LIVELY environment for some amazing cold and bubbly light BEER with friends. Touchscreen ordering system was efficient. Lines were out the door with a poor system for keeping track of guests and notifying them when their name is called. The puff pastry chicken pizza and beef sukiyaki were pretty delicious but the beer is what you're coming for! For Bar food however it's quite IMPRESSIVE and worth a try.

As a not beer enjoyer, this place was definitely worth checking out and make me consider trying more beer. They do some sort of magic to make the beer foam so frosty and the cup stays cold the whole time. The beer is a lighter tasting Korean brand and tasted so good with the food. It was also really fun getting the MATCHA makgeoli. It's not too strong and felt like a giant matcha latte. The food items are really fun but also have some good classics. We got the puff pastry pizza, corn cheese pancake, fried rice, and oden. Their portions are large and meant to be enjoyed with friends. My standout flavor wise was the pizza but they were stingy on the chicken on top. Overall the flavors were good but let's just say up stairs has better food. It's also pretty spacious but like others have said the middle tables are a bit awkwardly placed. Hopefully they'll reorientate that.

Every time when we visit The Source, we would wonder what this shop would become as it was in the process of being built. My husband and I said we will come visit, whatever it turns out to be and here we are, at INS Ice Beer. Another great place to hang out at The Source, not going to lie. Best come here half an hour before it opens because even though it opens at 6PM, a line of people already forming on the side waiting to get in right when the door is open. As we got there half an hour before it opened, a line of people were already waiting on the side for the doors to be open. They're known for their icy beer and their pocha, best combo ever. Yes, there maybe a wait, but the fact that it's organized and the service is top notch, worth it. If you were in line and didn't make it to seating, you will need to put your name down and possible contact number so when it is your turn, you will be called or text. Once seated, food menu is the screen that's attached to your table. Place your order by clicking what you want as your order gets sent to the kitchen. We ordered the beef sukiyaki, cup ramen fried rice, regular fried chicken, Boonmoja Spicy Chicken and 2 iced beer. Such an affordable meal, delicious and the portions are big to share. The Iced beer definitely stayed cold through the meal. Recommend for group gathering or catching up with friends. Coming back? Yes!

Did a triple date here during their first soft grand opening and it was definitely good vibes. We found out about this place from an ad on social media. When we arrived it was about an hour wait, such a long line, but worth it. The interior is nice and spacious. They have a cute little pond and a photo booth that creates images with black and white ink like the olden times. They also have a lit music playlist full of hip hop and rnb; you would see people dancing there. We ordered lots of alc and food. They are known for their iced beers mixed with a shot of soju, or aka "Somaek". After a couple of them, trust me, you will start feeling it, lol. It tastes good and refreshing, but the buzz creeps up on you eventually. The chicken wings and army stew is delicious. We ate that shit up quick like Kirby. By the way, there's tablets on the table, so you would order from there. Fast and simple. This place is way better than Misoolkwan and Nolza. I used to go to Misool all the time, but it's too fun here, lol. Food and alc is cheaper and bomb, and the service is good, not rude. They come quick with those beers and soju. If you guys want new vibes and like Korean pubs, come through!

I was in this area with a friend and she told me that we had to get here. What she didn't tell me was that this place has an intense line about 45 minutes before it even opens. We got in line at about 5:20, 40 minutes before opening, and the line was already about 30 people deep. I didn't understand why, until I got inside. This place is a true gastropub, but Korean style. The food, ambiance, and the feeling, it all reminds me of a great place to come in, relax, drink and eat. You order everything via a tablet, and food will come out a bit slower than drinks, but man is it worth it. From the ramen style fried rice, to the spicy fishcakes, to the pizza. Each bit is amazing and carefully designed to maximize your palete. If you plan on coming here, get her early or prepare for a wait.

I don't know what this is called but it tastes amazing

People line out of here before it's open. Then once it's open, people who didn't get a table usually have to wait around for an hour or so to get a table. It has high demand. I'm not sure why because while the ice beer is really really cold, the beer choice isn't the best. It doesn't make sense because the place is called ice beer, so you would think the beer is phenomenal. It would be if they picked a better beer. The frothiness of the drink, plus how long it stays chilled, is amazing but it needs a better beer choice in the glass itself. Maybe it's the food. Maybe this is what keeps people here. And builds up the hype. The soup dish we got where you hot pot it has an amazing broth that I could eat all day. This thing should be bigger, or have a bigger size offering. I could eat one of those by myself and be happy. The pizza is great. It has a croissant like crust that is just absolutely phenomenal. I loved it. The chicken wasn't anything special. The ambiance is cool. They have a good decoration at the front. The wait staff is super cool and really attentive. They get everything to you in the fastest amount of time possible after ordering (except the pizza, that takes a really long time). I like this place a lot but idk if standing outside for an hour is worth it. PS they won't seat you unless half your party has arrived.

Visited just last night and felt inspired to write a review because they're a very new spot. I feel like everyone in OC wanted to come here on a Friday night so the wait was very long, wish they had a text messaging service because throughout our 3 hour long wait we kept having to send out a person in our group to check on our place since you have to be right in front of the door when the worker calls out your name or they'll move you to the end of the line (which happened three times for us). We got so hungry we ended up eating food at Misoolkwan in the middle of the wait and came back here because we still wanted to try it out. As such, we didn't eat as much as we wanted to here, but everything we tried was pretty good. The beef sukiyaki was good and the fry sampler had some really good crispy fries. Wanted to try their ddukbokki or some of their soupy items but they were sold out (we did get seated around midnight though). Their signature icy cold beer is a must for beer lovers- super cold and foamy and a good portion for what you pay. We also tried the matcha makgeolli which tasted exactly like a matcha latte! Good selection of the classic soju bottles. Even though it feels a bit disorganized, I still really want to come back, maybe a little later because I understand they're still in their soft opening. I was looking at their menu and there's so much I would still love to try here, and everything seems to be a good price compared to other pochas in this area! I liked the lighting and music inside, very spacious as well. They also have a super cute free photobooth to take as many photos with your friends as you want while you wait. Good luck to this new business!

The Local is a great place for hanging out with your friends, maybe get a date in there, or any of their special events, like Bingo Boogie, or Trivia! You're bound to have a good time!
