Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivered an absolutely unforgettable…read moreexperience for our son's special celebration, and we could not be more grateful to the entire Rock n Brew's Buena Park team that supported our event for making it happen. During the planning phase, General Manager Mike's experience was extremely helpful when we shared what we envisioned for the party. He advised us where to set up the sections for food, a photo booth, the satellite bar, gift/message table, and where to place the tables that were in front of the stage for our hired entertainment (singer and DJ). We reserved the beach outdoor patio which can have up to 200 people, stage and dance area and TVs to project photos. From the moment we arrived, besides Mike, Kelly was also onsite and the point of contact for our event and was available during the event. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Servers Raelyn and team were attentive, personable, and went above and beyond to ensure a successful event. My husband and I were able to enjoy the party alongside our family with our family and friends. Our event was held during Memorial Day weekend when a chemical leak occurred in Garden Grove and Mike worked closely with us to address our concerns, kept us informed every step of the way regarding any potential impact to the Buena Park location (which, thankfully, was never affected) and made sure every detail we outlined in the layout of the event was in place. His professionalism and steady reassurance transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and joyful evening. The ambiance was lively, festive, and absolutely ideal for our crowd. And the food? Our guests could not stop raving about it. Everyone agreed it far surpassed typical bar food. The sliders were a massive hit, the pizza was devoured within minutes and generous in portion and incredible in flavor -- had everyone going back for seconds. Multiple guests approached us throughout the night just to compliment the food, which says everything. That night at Rock and Brews in Buena Park will forever be a cherished core memory for our family and friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's college graduation celebration so incredibly magical! If you're looking for a stress-free venue for your next event, Rock and Brews in Buena Park delivers on every level. Great food, amazing staff and a fun, relaxed atmosphere - they truly check all the boxes for an exceptional celebration!

Their iconic INS ice beer is beautiful the icy glass and the foam on top, idk if it's a placebo effect but I swear beer just tastes better here. We also tried the matcha makgeoli which is great to order if anyone at your table is more into cocktails than beer! It was on the sweeter side so if you enjoy a sweet matcha cocktail you will like it! They also serve different sojus both flavored and unflavored! We tried plentyyy of their food this time around: curry tteoboki, wings, bulgogi pizza, pancake and ALL of it was delicious! The curry tteoboki was not too spicy and had a yummy flavor, the tteok was cooked perfectly chewy. The bulgogi pizza was TO DIE FOR the puff pastry crust combined with the bulgogi was a hit at our table! The wings were also SO GOOD the plate was HUGE and came with fries and a salad. The pancake was pretty standard still good but not as wow as the other items we tried! Service was quite slow but they were also really busy when we came so makes sense. We probably waited around 20+ minutes for our food dishes after ordering them which didn't feel as long with good company but would definitely recommend to know what you want and order as soon as you sit down! Drinks did come out faster though! It really does feel like a little transport to Korea when you step in! They have some hanok style elements in the decor which is pretty cool! They also appear to have a photo area near the front! Located in The Source in Buena Park there is plentiful parking making it an easy spot to meetup with large groups! It can be a little difficult to find since it's in a giant mall/shopping center but just head towards the street corner and you'll eventually find it! I would recommend to come earlier if possible to avoid a long wait since tables do fill up and groups tend to stay awhile while they enjoy drinking and eating together! Will definitely be coming here again!

There are TVs for sports games and screens to order the food from. They also bring some pickled radish but not as much as I wanted and I was disappointed that there were no other bonchon or veggie options to balance out the deliciously decadent chicken. There was no wait when we entered Pelicana for lunch on a Saturday, and you can order directly from the tablet on the table. Service was friendly with water refills offered. Water and cabbage salad are brought to the table upon entering. The cabbage was good though the sauce very mayonnaise heavy for me. We ordered a half order of crispy chicken in garlic sauce, a pasta dish, kimchi udon, and sweet potato fries to share. While I liked that the garlic sauce was super garlicky, it was a bit too sweet for me. The pasta sauce was also on the sweeter side. It also took a while for the food to come out, but that is usually the case for Korean fried chicken as it takes time to double fry the chicken. The chicken was indeed super crispy and delicious. Sweet potato fries were yummy and the kimchi udon spicy but tasty. The interior was large, spacious, and bright. Prices were fair and portions good. I like how many sauce and chicken choices there are at Pelicana compared to some other Korean fried chicken chains. Overall, highly recommend Pelicana!

Had the O'Melveny Red Ale (San Fernando Brewing) -- a malty amber with a hint of sourdough -- smooth, slightly bready, and poured with that perfect creamy head that quietly says "yes, we actually clean our lines." Shout-out to Erica the cute bartender for the friendly service, great recommendations, and a spot-on pour. Cozy lighting, relaxed neighborhood crowd, and the kind of place you stop in for one and accidentally stay for two. La Mirada needs more places like this -- chill, welcoming, and focused on good beer and wine instead of hype. If you go, get the O'Melveny Red Ale. Trust me.

But if you want it lively, go in on a Wednesday for some fun Bingo Boogie (trust me, it's soo much fun! I highly recommend it!) There's a great selection of drinks, between the wine, the beers on tap, and the beers in cans and bottles, you can't really go wrong. The service was great! They were super friendly, and even let us try a couple of drinks before buying a full glass. I fell in love with Delirium Red, which is a red beer with notes of Cherry and Elderberry. Food wise we got the Charcuterie for Two, it's just like that perfect board with different crackers, breads, meats and cheeses. It goes well with anything you drink for sure! We got the Chimichurri Steak, that was such a tender cut of beef, and the chimichurri sauce just gave it that extra zing. It came with a side of fries, and I love me some good fries, for some reason these fries were just the perfect fry, crispy with a soft center. Ended with the Baked Brie, because why not. It was served in a sourdough bread bowl and came with pita bread slices on the side. It was so melty and good, and did we go ham on that sourdough bread. Since we were there on a Wednesday, we got to experience Bingo Boogie. Which is super fun. You get a bingo card with different songs from different eras. Zee, who runs the show, is so much fun. We were all singing and dancing along. So if you're bored, or want to try something new, go on a Wednesday! Get some food at around 6, party starts at 7! The Local is a great place for hanging out with your friends, maybe get a date in there, or any of their special events, like Bingo Boogie, or Trivia! You're bound to have a good time!
