One thing I found interesting is that they receive fresh fish flown in directly from Korea every week, and their uni comes in fresh from Long Beach twice a week. Their KakaoTalk channel also shares updates when new fish shipments arrive, so you can actually check what's coming in before you visit. Definitely add their KakaoTalk channel before you go because they run different promotions there. When we visited, adding the channel came with complimentary mulhoe + a bottle of alcohol. They also take sashimi pre-orders through KakaoTalk, and there was an extra abalone offer with a pre-order. Promotions can change, so I would check the current offer before visiting. I also liked how clean and comfortable the restaurant felt. Unlike some Korean sashimi restaurants, there isn't a huge fish tank dominating the dining area or a strong seafood smell. My kids normally love looking at live fish, but I actually liked this atmosphere better. And save room for the spicy fish stew at the end! We had it with nurungji and they were so good together. Between the sashimi and all the side dishes, it really felt like a full Korean-style sashimi experience. It's located inside The Source OC in Buena Park, and the parking structure is large and free, which makes it super convenient. We had so much food that I even brought my sister along.
