I love me some authentic Filipino food! Filipino food at popular or trendy restaurants are usually a hit of miss. Can't go wrong with an authentic mom & pop Filipino shop! All their food is made fresh, especially their lumpia Shanghai. It's easily my favorite thing to get here. For a good price too! The owners are super nice and friendly and will willing pack your order if you ask for more nicely. Service was top notch. My girlfriend and I ordered longanisa, bbq, chicken apritada, diniguan, kaldareta, and pancit. All dishes were super delicious and you can tell they care about the quality of their food. The pancit deserves honorable mention because it's the best I've had at these Filipino mom & pop shops. Definitely coming back!

Turon (banana roll)

I used Filipino Express services for catering. I ordered pancit, rice, lumpia, chicken adobo, lechon and turon for our church event. Their prices are reasonable! We had to use 2 vehicles to carry the food and they were packaged correctly. Presentation was great and they were also kept warm while waiting for us to arrive. The lumpia was crunchy, people wanted to eat more We received a lot of compliments on the food we served. Will definitely go to them again for my next event.

Such a great hole in the wall spot for Filipino food. It's always very nostalgic for me to come in here. The employees are always warm and welcoming. I've been coming here for years for every potluck/party needs.

My son and I love the food and great service. We will definitely be back! Salamat Po!

Halo Halo. SO good!!

I thought most of the food I got was really good. I got the kare kare and it was so fatty and delicious. My husband got done chicken in a soy sauce type of sauce and I thought that one was pretty plain tho. Gotta know what to order I guess! The desserts were really amazing. We got the halo halo and a tapioca pudding. Both were amazing! Service was super friendly. We even had a lady offer us a box to take our left overs un even after we had already walked outside the restaurant to our car! That was so sweet. Definitely will come back with friends

I wish more people knew about this restaurant. It's so good! The adobo is available in chicken or pork, the longoniza and bbq chicken and beef is amazing, it's spiced perfectly. And of course, bomb lumpia. Love the pancit, it tastes authentic. Best of all, the lady who runs it is very sweet and will walk you through the menu. Lumpia and bbq meats are on order, and if it's not, she will gladly make it for you. Please give this a try.

Poncet, pork adobo, pork stew, longuinisa, chicken skewer, rice vegetables. You know I misspelled things but wow incredible!

I can't believe I haven't stopped here before. They've been here for 20 years. Literally mom and pop, I feel like I have a new Filipino mom now, because she literally gave me veggies and told me to have a balance meal. My heart bursted. The poncet the pork adobo, the lumpia, this banana fried like a lumpia thing was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Take my money please, you must stay open for another 20. The pork stew, the linguinisa idk how to spell it first time I had it, wow it was a sweet and delicious sausage thing. I'm dying it was so good. Ok I'm gonna take a nap now.

Well hello! Mahalo! WAHOO!!!! My friend and I were looking for dinner and came across this absolute gem! Upon entering, we were greeted by the kind man behind the counter's beaming smile. I was unfamiliar with a lot of the dishes, so he helped explain them to me. We got a double combo plate and chose noodles, adobo, and uhhh... erm... something else... I also got a delicious citrus juice drink, with calamansi fricking fire. Upon first bite, my tastebuds were showered with flavor. The pork adobo was salty and savory. The meat in both dishes was incredibly tender and fell apart when touched... I must say it was absolutely delicious! The lumpia was fantastic as well, and we were graciously given some extras - which was epic!!! The whole experience was fantastic - I also like the dichotomy between Buddhism and Catholicism shown throughout the decor - a really interesting neo-Baháín commentary on religion. The Halo-Halo was great, too. One thing that I wasn't a fan of, though, were these ridiculous Teslas parked outside. Who needs aero? Hood vents on a tesla that has no gas engine are completely useless! That ended up ruining my night.

Turon

Have you had Turon before? Turon is often called banana spring rolls, fried banana rolls, or banana lumpia. It's a popular Filipino snack that's sweet and crunchy; made with ripe banana, jackfruit, and brown sugar and rolled together in a flour lumpia wrapper and fried to a golden crisp. So yummy! I picked some up for an event and they were a big hit!! Leonie is so sweet and helpful. I usually get lumpia from there. They go fast at a party! It's a great place for authentic Filipino dishes. Great for takeout or order for a party or event.

Best filipino food i've ever had! Went here on a whim and i don't regret it at all. The owner was so sweet she took her time explaining everything and even made my plate up with a whole bunch of different sides. I spent maybe 20-30 minutes in there ordering and talking to the owner, she's been there for 20 years !! you can really tell she put her all in the food she served. i'll definitely be returning

Generous portions. Photographed: Pancit bihon, chicken sinigang, menudo with extra gulay

However, taste still matters most--some of the dishes were really good, while others could use a bit more flavor, especially seasoning. They also have desserts and snacks, though the selection isn't very extensive. The service was just okay. The girl who assisted us didn't seem very welcoming--she could definitely benefit from being more friendly and approachable, as it felt like she wasn't too interested in helping. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a typical fast food restaurant--spacious with good parking available. We might give it another try once their new location opens.

Average space in the sense it's rectangular & like any mom/pop hole in the wall. You step in, tables to your right going all the way back, & left front side has cash register, sweets display, & water dispenser while the rest of the left was the kitchen. Menu was straightforward but could benefit from having a description in case you're not familiar (like my BF). * Service: the reason I'm docking by 1 star. The lady was nice, but not very attentive, & it wasn't like it was busy. We needed to ask or follow up on 2-3 things. My BF was eyeing some dessert when we were first ordering but she didn't try to sell it to us ‍ * Food: surprisingly good as it was both our first time there. He got the adobo bowl & the chicken was tender/juicy & pretty much fell off the bone. I got the tocino plate & the meat was flavorful with just the right amount of garlic in the rice. We also got one chicken skewer & one pork skewer, which was a bit smaller than I'm used to but the smoky flavor & tenderness was spot on. My only issue was the portion compared to the price. * Final Thoughts: mom/pop Filipino food that is great on flavor but leaves something to be desired with customer service. Would recommend & will return again for the food. * Final Grade: B+ or 8.5/10
