This restaurant is one of our stops whenever we come from Knotts Berry Farm with our Son and his friends. They close late so this is perfect for us who are night owls. This is so far the only one we know that closes late near Knott's Berry Farm. Soup, Spring rolls, Noodles, Vegetable stir fry, Vermicelli with BBQ Beef or BBQ Pork are our usual order here, but the most reason my Son and his friends chose this place is for their pork chops with rice and eggs. Everything is very Tasty, the right amount of food serving size, especially their Pork chop with rice. Service is always quick here , every time we come here, the food comes out fast and delicious. Plenty of space for Parking too.

Food came out quickly! Service was great. Food is alright. Ideal for late night dinners and typically has room for large groups of people.

If you need a place to eat with a big group and later at night, this is definitely one of those spots! For a Friday night, they were able to accommodate us pretty quickly and split us up. Got our orders and our food within 15min or so? I'm sure it would feel fast or faster with a smaller group since they had to prep more for us. As for the food, I got a large 9 with rare steak and brisket to share with a food. Overall I'd rate the pho as average. Nothing particularly bad nor great about it. It satisfies the craving. What put it down for me was that the noodles broke so easily when I lifted it up with my chopsticks. The broth was fine, not much depth in flavor. Meat was good.

I was dying for some Pho for dinner after have Udon for breakfast. My family and I were lagging to get out of the door and it just kept getting later and later. Restaurants that I was viewing were starting to close. However, Pho 21 being almost 24 hours was a life saver. My whole family got our hungry hands on the most delicious pho. The broth is subtle, like not too over powering, which I like because it gives the other ingredients a chance to shine. I like that the broth is pipping hot because we really need that heat to cook the ingredients. The seafood soup was under $20, but FYI I got 2 shrimps, 1 muscle, 2 octopus pieces and 3 scallops. At first, I thought it wasn't enough at all but now after digging in I see that it was my American-ness that wanted more! Glad I called myself out on that. The staff wasn't exactly friendly but they do their jobs and God bless them I wish them happiness. The store still has Covid 19 plastic up, which felt like a horrible memory but whatever, to each his own. Those times were a trip! The best part of going to this location was a sweet old (maybe 70s) Vietnamese woman. She was sitting on the floor selling little trays of veggies. You could tell she struggles and is honorable because she isn't asking for handouts just for you to support her business and buy some little onions on a plate. Please give her your time and if possible bless her with something that can really help her out. Ok, I think I am done, sorry not sorry Ha.

They were still there. It was open and they went in service and they were rude about it.

They went serve us. They said it's open until two. We got here at 1:30 and they wouldn't take us when they were rude.

Went back to visit Pho 21 because I was feeling sick and wanted some good comfort food. I'll keep the review short and sweet since I left one before. Yet another phenomenal dinner The food came out right away and it made me feel warm and feeling better. The service (as always) was quick but attentive. I will be back again soon!!

I just visited this place due to boredom, and I decided to explore a new restaurant that opens late near me. The food actually looked better than its taste. It looked like a family-owned restaurant. The owners/workers didn't speak a word of Vietnamese despite having all Vietnamese food menu. My guess is they were Thais or Laotian. I would rate the food 2/5 for taste. I don't think I will be back. This is strictly based on taste alone.

    RAW CHICKEN !!!!
    Jessicalynn L.

Got a delivery order tonight for a chicken pho, when I got it the chicken was RAW. Disgusting, I understand the chicken cooking in the hot broth, but for delivery orders the chicken should be fully cooked due to the broth not being as hot when it comes out by the time it gets to me. The first time this happened I brushed it off because I love this place, this time I'm done. My chicken can't cook and it's a WASTE! After leaving my noodles and chicken in there for a couple minutes I got a huge bite of RAW chicken!

Number 25. Com Hot Ga, Suon Nuong

Food is amazing. Number 25 comes with 2 pork lions that are extremely juicy and tender. Rice on the bottom with cucumbers, bean sprouts, carrots and lettuce. Good portion size. Service is incredible. Very attentive waitress and waiter. Fast with drinks and extremely speedy with service. I ask for napkins or more water; I close my eyes for one second and it's literally all there! Guy with the blue hat...(Kim Tae) is extremely funny Waitress is extremely hospitable and overall kind. They both are The atmosphere of the place is very cozy, small but extremely cozy. A great place to come to after a long day of studying and work. The staff deserves a raise!

    Spring Rolls!

I have always loved coming here, the food is always so fresh and the service is wonderful! The restaurant is bright and clean, and the serving staff is always a delight to interact with. I came here with my partner on a chilly evening as we were craving a soup to warm ourselves up, and Pho 21 never disappoints. I ordered their spring rolls to start and they are absolutely delicious. Refreshing with a good crunch from their crisp lettuce, as well as the shrimp and pork tying the dish together. Their peanut sauce is also absolutely amazing with this dish. For our main dish, we ordered 2 small pho bowls, the number 4 and number 12. Again, they do not skimp on anything and the dishes were loaded with the most delicious meats and noodles. We always find ourselves coming back here, make sure you swing by!

    Ready to dig in!

I have been coming to Pho 21 for almost 10 years now and I can say I will continue to choose them as my number 1 spot (even though I moved about 40 minutes away) whenever I'm in town it's a must. The staff are always so welcoming and attentive. The food never misses and always comes out piping hot. They are also open late which is a plus! They have recently remodeled the interior and it really uplifts the place. Forever my favorite Pho spot!

The menu does offer Korean dishes but given the name of the place, we opted to stick with pho. In hindsight, that may not have been the best choice. The pho dish is being recreated by Koreans without fully capturing what makes pho special. Traditional pho broth is usually a slow simmered beef bone broth that's rich, aromatic and layered with flavor from spices like star anise, cloves, charred onions etc. The broth here was much more bland and seemed to rely heavily on fish sauce rather than that deep, comforting flavor pho is known for. Even the toppings felt incomplete. They didn't offer the usual herbs like mint or thai basil and just offered cilantro and bean sprouts. Honestly, the soup felt flat and lacked balance. Shrimp rockets were decent but the pho itself just wasn't memorable.
