Omg, I finally found a genuine and fantastic place for eel and soju! I'm so happy I discovered this spot -- will definitely be coming back!

Beef, egg, and supplementary.

Absolutely fabulous with variety of food choices, a balance of flavor from sauce and food, although the food became plain and bored when eaten for a period of time. Service are amazing through worker enthusiastically vibe and their constant provision. The restaurant gives a classy BBQ place and the view (workers) are beautiful.

Newly opened Korean restaurant specializes on pork rib on real charcoal grill. My husband and I wanted to check the place out and stopped for a simple bbq dinner during the weekdays. The restaurant interior has been renovated with fresh paint and decor. The nice marble looking tables were setup with new grills and overhead ventilation systems shaped like a giant bell looked clean. Our server was most gracious and attentive. She came to our table to grill the meat for us and frequently asked us if everything was good with our meal. I liked all their side dishes ( banchan) especially the salad that was mixture of green onions and lettuce and light seasoning. I asked for more salad and she was very happy to bring the second serving without extra charge. First we had marinated beef boneless short rib to start. The server grilled the meat perfectly. Second, we had their famous marinated pork rib - lightly seasoned but full of flavor. It was also tender and very delicious For the time being, all their alcoholic beverages are 50% off - grand opening special, I think. I'm definitely going back soon to try other things on the menu.

The meal starts off with lighter dishes like porridge, salad, and water kimchi to warm up your stomach. After that, a variety of starters come out including spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, glass noodles, and a beautiful platter of nine delicacies. Everything was thoughtfully presented and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was definitely the assorted premium wagyu cuts, which are grilled to perfection over charcoal. The meat was incredibly tender, rich, and packed with flavor. Pairing it with naengmyun and soybean paste soup made the whole experience even better. What surprised me most was how many courses kept coming out throughout the meal. Even after the wagyu, they brought fried dishes, seasonal items, tricolor pancake, and dessert to finish everything off. Overall, the course felt very complete and satisfying, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. If you're looking for a more elevated Korean BBQ experience in OC, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

You can get food every 1.5 hours while in the park, which is enough to share between 2 people if you're good about getting meals on time. Chicken (8/10) - Comes with Cornbread + 1 side (we got mac and cheese) - Regarding the chicken itself...YUM! Juicy, soft, and HUGE! It's not just a single thigh, but literally half a chicken. It's a huge portion size for 1 person, meaning easily sharable between 2 people. Roasted until the outside is relatively crispy while maintaining a juicy interior - Cornbread was good, nothing special yet nothing bad about it - Mac and Cheese was slightly on the drier side, but still paired super well with the chicken Overall, great option and great portion sizes at the Boardwalk BBQ! Definitely go for the all day dining ticket if possible, otherwise prices may seem a little steep. Next time will definitely be back to try the brisket.

I had brought my own raw almonds so I added that for protein. Kind of pricy at $17.99 (especially because I forgot to pick up the salad dressing), so I was glad to have my 10% discount from my pass. They were setting up for live music on the tiny bandstand by the outdoor seating as we were finishing up. (At about 7). Service was okay but I think the cashier was confused when I showed her my pass. She asked, "oh, do you want to use your 10% discount now?"--are you surprised? When else would I use it? It's not as if it's a single use coupon...oh well, maybe she was being trained. The mashed potatoes I tried from my friend's plate were so good! Garlicky and with some peel still there.

Surprisingly, the mall wasn't very crowded so we decided to try M Korean BBQ since it had been a while since we had Korean BBQ. It only took about 10 minutes to be seated and the salad, banchan, and tea were brought out very quickly. We also split a pitcher of Blue Moon since they didn't have any pitchers of Korean beer which was rather disappointing. Apparently you can only order K beer by the bottle. We went with the Signature Combo option which worked out well with more than enough BBQ to satisfy the 4 of us. The servers come to your table to not only bring you your food but also to cut the meat into individual portions and cook it for you. They did a wonderful job of switching out the grills so you never have to worry about getting the blackened residue on your meat. The kim chee was very fresh and well seasoned. The green salad was also excellent. The quality of the meat was extremely good for the price they charge. The restaurant also has a no tip policy but they do add a 10% service charge for cooking at the table which is quite reasonable. My first visit was very impressive and I look forward to returning again in the near future when I feel the need to partake of another KBBQ meal.

I still have core memories from the smell of the BBQ and how packed it used to get. A couple people in our party decided to eat there, so we just followed and I didn't think anything of it. I don't know why I didn't check the reviews. It's not like me to skip yelp. In case you're wondering, they are an option for food pass holders. There are a good amount of picnic tables behind the little shack of a restaurant and attached to that back wall is a handwashing station. What we ordered. All came with one side for the food pass. 1) spicy sausage - I chose "roasted veggies". These were NOT roasted. More like baked to sogginess, unseasoned and bland. The bread was too thick for the sausage in my opinion. I took the sausage out and decided to just eat it with the veggies. The sausage wasn't bad. It's "spicy" but it's mild...I wouldn't trust my leveling of the heat cause I like mine hot. 2) 1/4 chicken - one of the kids chose corn on the cob and the other a baked potato. They were fine and satisfied with this. They said the chicken was good and wasn't dry at all. 3) steak sandwich - ordered with corn on the cob. One of the kids said they thought it was a little dry. When I tried it, the meat was not only dry but hard. For sure, this option is a no no for us ever again. He was just starving and going to town and was almost finished by the time I realized the issue. Would I come back? Eh. Not sure. If the kids want to redeem for the chicken, yes, I guess we could go back. Skipping the steak sandwich though.
