My mom, my son, and I visited today and had a wonderful meal. Especially, the pumpkin porridge at the self-serve bar and the pancake the owner made for us were outstanding. It felt like such a warm and welcoming restaurant. The kimchi was also delicious, and we really loved that they made fried rice for us after we finished the meat. We truly enjoyed the experience.

Amazing!! $89 for the pork and beef combo. Comes with standard banchan which seemed homemade and all tasted great. There was one soup at the open banchan table where you can get as much as you want and then you can choose between kimchi soup or soy bean soup. We got the kimchi. Super salty but great flavor. Then they have the leaves I love and everything was fresh. The owner was amazing, so very kind and welcoming. So you start w the korean pancake, followed by meat. Once you're done with the meat they give you kimchi rice which was awesome. We were full with 2 people and could have easily fed 3. Perhaps could have fed 4 if they weren't big eaters or supplemented w less meat and more sides. Really good experience and highly recommend!

The wife and I decided to give this place a shot and honestly really glad we did. Tons of parking in the back, super easy. The place itself is clean and well lit. We ordered the pork and ribs combo for 2-3 people ($89) and the portion was huge. Easily feeds 3 heavy eaters or 4 lighter ones. They also have really good homemade banchan and solid veggie options. I love water parsley and perilla leaves and they pair really well with the meat. There's also soups you can grab from the banchan bar which was a nice touch. Meal starts with a seafood pancake as an appetizer, then they bring out a big skillet of pork belly and ribs, followed by a kimchi stew in a hot stone pot. Everything was really good. At the end they made kimchi fried rice for us which was a great finisher, but we were already stuffed so most of that went to go. Honestly we barely made a dent, still had a lot of food left over. Best part though was the service. The owner is super nice, gives off that "everyone's mom" vibe. She makes sure you're taken care of and leave full and satisfied. We went on a Monday night so it was a little slow, but they're new so that's expected. I can see this place getting busy pretty soon. If you're thinking about it, just go check it out. Definitely worth it.

Went back again and had a great meal. We ordered just the pork belly as that was our favorite. This time I tried the soups as she has two different soups you can have with your meal. Both were really good as I never had pumpkin soup before. She also brought out more types of kimchee for us to try as she generally really wanted to make sure we like her food . She honestly makes you feel like you're an invited guest at her home.

Minari is a hard to get vegetable. It is known for being super tasty and almost tastes sweet. It paired very well with the meat.

Absolutely delicious and mostly, EXTREMELY CLEAN FACILITY. The lady of the house was very sweet and I could tell that she deeply cares about her business. It's relatively a small restaurant and she is the only one working. The music playlist was old school 90's and Y2K Korean songs and it made me feel like i was at an actual restaurant in Korea. The vegetables were very fresh! Not a single stem was browning. The self-serving bar was almost medical grade sterile. Not a single dust was present. I don't eat that much veggies but all the veggies were so fresh that they tasted almost sweet. The lady also served the pan-fried Korean pancake, and other side dishes were exceptional. I highly recommend if you are not an AYCE type of a person and looking for a quality food with quality ingredients. PS: portion was gigantic.

Came here recently and the pork belly was sooo good, crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside. Definitely the kind of dish you keep thinking about after you leave. Also gotta mention the aunty who was serving. She was the only one running around and you could tell she was busy, but she still made sure we were taken care of. Super attentive and really kind the whole time, which I appreciated. Food was great, but her service honestly made the whole experience even better.

Kimchi fried rice! We like ours extra crispy

Hands down a MUST TRY and this place will deliver! One of the best pork belly spots in town! The galbi and pork belly was nothing short of amazing.. especially if you let it cook a little while longer to get it crispy. It is a chef's kiss! The dish comes with a wide variety of sides from Korean pancakes to fish cakes to different soups! There's fresh veggies to choose from to eat with the meats. It is a steal for $89. Wait for it... at the end there's a hot crispy plate of kimchi fried rice!! What more can you ask for?! The service was awesome and very home like. It was warm and it's just that feeling you get when you're tasting food that someone put their whole love and effort into it. The umma that was serving us was so kind and sweet. She made the whole experience even better! I felt like she was welcoming us into her home. Give this place a shot and you won't regret it! It'llbetter than any Korean spot around

My husband and I wanted to go to our usual pork belly place but they were closed so I looked at Yelp for somewhere else to go. I came across this restaurant and had to check it out. First of all, this place is spacious!! On top of that, their hospitality is amazing! The best experience I've ever had at a Samgyupsal or a Korean restaurant in general. The owner (Maria) was so sweet and charming, it felt like eating at your aunt's house and she just keeps feeding you. Everything was absolutely delicious! They have several banchan options at the salad bar like perilla leaves, radish paper, peppers, and mushroom. There's also a fridge filled with drinks that we were told were part of the meal we ordered. Next to the salad bar, they had pumpkin soup and seaweed soup. But she also made us fish cake soup and kimchi stew, as well as the Korean pancakes. They were made so fresh, it was so scrumptious. After trying this place out, I'm so glad the other place was closed. This has got to be our new favorite samgyupsal spot.

end of meal kimchi fried rice

Tried the ribs and pork belly and both were really good. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they put care into the food. The pork belly was tender and the ribs were cooked perfectly. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a chance if you're in the area.

Found this gem here in Cerritos and it did not disappoint! The service was amazing and food was absolutely delicious! They have been opened for about a week now and I will definitely be coming back again.

The owner here is the cutest and sweetest lady ever. She helped my friends and I out explaining the menu and the self serve station. The food was really delicious. We got half and half for 2-3 people and it easily fed us with extra for the kimchi fried rice afterwards. The space is fairly big and plenty of seating. I would definitely go again just for the owner because she was just so excited to have customers, so I recommend you checking out this restaurant and supporting this business.
