We drive by this place a lot when going through Cerritos. It's a cute mom n' pop shop and the ladies there are always so nice. Ambiance (3/5): Brightly lit and clean with some IKEA classics for decor. It has a nice old-school vibe. Service (5/5): The two ladies who work here are always so nice. One time, they even gave our little kids a small sikhye (rice dessert) slush after our meal since it was so hot out. Food (4/5): They have a wonderful BOGO 50% deal for some of their dishes, including their jjajang myun (black bean sauce noodle). The jjajang myun tastes homey and has lots of sauce and big chunks of meat. It's always a comfort food, although the noodles are not as bouncy and chewy as another place we like. Their kimchi fried rice and jjampong are okay too, but admittedly not too special. Great place to get your Korean Chinese food when taking advantage of their deal, and they always get lots of to-go orders. Overall, we've visited a few times and will likely swing by again if we are in the area and our picky eaters need some noodles. read more

We ordered the kimchi fried rice, steamed dumplings, black bean noodles, and Donkatsu. Everything was shareable and we had leftovers. The kimchi fried rice was my favorite, full of flavor not too greasy and loved the pieces of beef throughout the dish. I loved their kimchi and radish on the side. The steamed dumplings were lovely with the dipping sauce. The Donkatsu was a little overcooked but it was still a tasty dish with crunchy outside, the sauce was great. Black bean noodles were great but the fans were on full blast in the restaurant, our food got cold pretty fast. The women working behind the counter were hospitable and kind. The 2 of them seem to run the restaurant together. They have a bathroom available, but not in the greatest condition. The dumplings are good either fried or steamed. I usually dip in the tteokbokki sauce but they give you a soy sauce mix on the side. They drop off your food however the other parts like getting water and clearing your table are self serve, this is all great because you can go at your own pace. My boyfriend and I had ordered 1 black bean noodle with a large sweet and sour pork. Total came out to $38 which is pretty pricey but was very filling. I love the batter they use for the sweet and sour pork, it's super moist when you bite into it. I went and it was a teriyaki spot before. It has a good amount of seats, and the plus side is there is a Paris baguette next door. So there is a dessert near by. I didn't have much interaction with the cashier accept just her taking my order and taking my payments. It was fairly quick so I didn't have to wait long. I took it to go. My first experience of black bean noodles was great. I ate it with radish and kimchi that it came with. It was so good. I have no complaints. There was literally a lot of noodles. I was able to eat it 3 different times. I will definitely come back and order it again when I crave black bean noodles. I've not had it, but I came cause I craved it, even though I never had it.
