We drive by this place a lot when going through Cerritos. It's a cute mom n' pop shop and the ladies there are always so nice. Ambiance (3/5): Brightly lit and clean with some IKEA classics for decor. It has a nice old-school vibe. Service (5/5): The two ladies who work here are always so nice. One time, they even gave our little kids a small sikhye (rice dessert) slush after our meal since it was so hot out. Food (4/5): They have a wonderful BOGO 50% deal for some of their dishes, including their jjajang myun (black bean sauce noodle). The jjajang myun tastes homey and has lots of sauce and big chunks of meat. It's always a comfort food, although the noodles are not as bouncy and chewy as another place we like. Their kimchi fried rice and jjampong are okay too, but admittedly not too special. Great place to get your Korean Chinese food when taking advantage of their deal, and they always get lots of to-go orders. Passed by this place so many times and finally decided to stop by one night for takeout. Ordered the king short rib soup and jjajangmyeon (not pictured). My oh my was this delicious and so comforting. There were decent amount pieces of short rib inside and even though I had takeout, the soup was still piping hot. So glad it was my turn to choose where we get to have dinner for gal pal night, we all tried a new place and really enjoyed it! Great service, tasty offerings. Spicy cold noodle had too much sesame oil that my mother had to scoop them out before eating. Per my mother their sesame oil is not 100% sesame oil. It's mixed with other oil.
