Always a solid spot to come for a quick dinner after grocery shopping. The workers here are so friendly and adorable. They work hard and the food is consistently good. Jjamppong with tang suyuk combo and egg fried rice is our go to. Also appreciate the water station that offers both hot and cold water.

This is a mini food court inside the Korean H Mart on Del Amo. The food is decently priced, and the taste/seasoning hits that classic Korean-Chinese "done right" standard. It doesn't necessarily blow you away, but you're also not going to find something much closer to this unless you're in LA K-Town (or Korea). So yeah--pretty darn worth trying. If you're new to Korean-Chinese food, start with jjamppong if you like a rich, spicy seafood broth. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the entrees before emptying the bowls, but check out their menu. Happy 2026 to all our fellow Yelpers! Let's make it a great year!

This place is inside the market. It's a go to spot for me for a quick fix. The price is pretty good for their sets and it feeds at least two people! I also like their spicy seafood noodle soup!

Despite the eatery claiming to be a "Chinese restaurant", the food served here is as Korean as it gets. True, noodles, specifically the Jajiangmian originated in China, but the recipe has been adopted and customized for the Korean clientele. The flavor is distinctly and authentically Korean, heavy on the soupier sauce and having large chunks of onion. It's also sweeter than the Chinese recipe. The noodles were swimming in the sauce, but this is just the way I like it. Customers order at the counter, but the server usually brings the noodles to the table unless they're too busy. The server also brought us an extra bowl for our son, noticing that we only ordered two bowls of noodles and we're likely planning to share. The dining area could accommodate more than a dozen diners, and the area was clean and spacious. There is a shaved ice place right next to it, but hardly anyone was ordering shaved ice, even on a hot day. Best of all, since it's already inside a Korean supermarket, you can get some grocery shopping done after lunch. I have been here for so many times that I've lost count, but finally got a chance to write a deserving review.

I came on a Saturday afternoon, it was not packed at all. Food was served in less than 5 minutes. The black bean noodles with dumplings were SO good! I would come back here to try something else.

Jjajangmyun got better the more I ate it. Esp at the bottom, where I finished the diced meat, veggies, and potatoes that were covered in the sauce. It comes out fast, hot and tastes relatively fresh. One bowl will run you a little less than 15, but it will definitely fill you up! Love the service. Shout-out to Kevin at the front who took my order and diligently cleaned the tables -- may the Lord bless him. One thing I also loved was the menu that was displayed on two TVs near the front -- very clearly designed and easy to read.

Very delicious noodles and sweet and sour pork. The staff are very friendly. The portions are big enough for two people to share.

I really enjoyed my time at Kyodong Noodle. The location is inside of a Korean grocery store, and the seating area was clean. Kevin was our cashier, and he did a wonderful job explaining the different menu options and recommendations. The food itself was great. I had the Jjajangmyun, which was rich and flavorful. I had enough for a meal and some leftover. Would recommend to everyone!

    Menu 11/4/25

We ordered jjajangmyun and tangsuyuk and both were tasty. Staff members were very friendly and pleasantly courteous.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the overall experience was better than I anticipated. The seasoning was a little strong, and some dishes had a fairly familiar, standardized taste. Nothing was bad, and everything was prepared well, but I do feel a little disappointed when the authentic flavors of traditional Chinese food become less noticeable. There were four of us, and we ordered about eight or nine of their most popular dishes. My parents really enjoyed the food. I have worked in China before, so I may be a little more sensitive and particular when it comes to Chinese food. Overall, the restaurant has good reviews, the prices are reasonable, and it was a pretty good dining experience.

Since then,…read morethey've expanded all over southern California, and I think they are the best option for dim sum near Cerritos. Criticism that their dim sum dishes are expensive is valid, but I don't mind spending for their dishes because they generally serve giant, protein-filled dumplings and I enjoy that their dim sum is made to order. The other reasons that could yield a two- or three-star experience here are that service isn't great and some of their dim sum offerings, such as their xiao long bao (soup dumplings) aren't great. I also don't like that they charge you like $2 for a small container of chili oil. I do enjoy their fried offerings and their shiu mai and they're quite filling. This time, I got their mala spiced har gow and their chili won tons. Both were okay, but I don't think that I'd order them again. I understand why one could rate this as a three-star dining experience; however, it remains my local go-to option for dim sum because of their large dumpings, their made-to-order dishes, and because they're dumplings are pretty filled to the brim with meat.

Standouts were the scallop-shrimp dumplings and the pork & shrimp shiu mai. The Young Chow Fried Rice with the extra Lap Cheong was excellent. The baked egg custard tarts were textbook and remain a personal favorite since childhood. She was prompt in a very caring manner without ever seeming rushed. She had lots of suggestions as we asked questions about the menu. At some point, the chef was sitting with us, and she asked him clarifying questions for us. She even went back into the kitchen to find out which vegetables were the freshest (which I appreciated)! We ordered a cup of ginseng and goji berry chicken soup, chicken cream corn soup (with egg), ong choy with garlic, walnut shrimp, crispy tofu, and green scallion pancake. As each dish came out, it felt like different instruments in an orchestra being highlighted as they wove into the tapestry of the music. The ong choy built onto the soup, the crispy tofu onto the ong choy and soup, and so on! Until there was this grand harmony of pulsating flavors and textures! I thoroughly enjoyed each dish!
