Kalchi Gui is so good here.... 10/10. Not too salty, just how I like with little crisp. Portion size is good for 2-3 ppl. Bossam is huge with 2 types of kimch! Portion size is for 3-4 ppl. Portions are great for the value of the price. This place is a hole in the wall that has friendly staff and good food. Great for families. I don't believe they serve alcohols here.. This place is located in a plaza where it's not too busy so parking isn't too difficult.

    Kong guksu

This hole-in-the-wall restaurant serves authentic Korean dishes. I tried the kong guksu and was very well made. The cold soup was very thick, which I found to be unique unlike typical kong guksu. Portion sizes are huge as well. The restaurant stayed a bit warm at first, but the workers eventually turned on the AC.

3.75 rounded to a 4. This is an authentic and traditional Korean restaurant, like the ones you'd find in the rural seaside areas of S. Korea. The interior isn't anything stellar and this place is definitely a mom and pop shop. I could already tell by all the older folks that dine and takeout here. This place seems to specialize in fish-entrees. We ordered the kalchi gui, eundaegu jorim, and seafood pancake. If you come here, you should get a fish/seafood entree instead of a noodle or meat entree. The kalchi gui was sooooo good. The eundaegu jorim was good, but not the best I've had. The seafood pancake was very generous with the amount of seafood inside, but was slightly tough and not the best I've had. But still fair. I'd say the prices for the specific dishes we got were really fair though compared to other places. The dishes automatically come with banchan/side dishes, rice, and soybean soup. The soybean soup was not great, banchan was p good, and I have no complaints about the rice. Service was so friendly, kind, and attentive. They also seem to get a lot of regulars because of how friendly and personal they were with some of the tables. I'd say because this place is authentic, the flavors aren't super saturated with salt and sugar. The flavor is more in the fish, produce ingredients, and classic Korean fermented pastes. They don't like to hide the flavors with a ton of salt and sugar.

    Pork bossam

Quiet mom&pop shop. Great service, very authentic, HUGE PORTIONS! The bossam could probably feed 5 people. I plan to come back and try more dishes here.

    Samgyetang (Chicken ginseng soup)

Maybe we didn't order their specialty item.. but there was a "star" icon to show it as "popular item" . Honestly very disappointed in my Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup). So much rice, no soup. Definitely prepared differently than other places, all the ingredients were outside of the chicken. Overall - it was a big bowl of porridge.

    은대구조림

this is a TRADITIONAL korean restaurant, so whenever my grandma wants to eat out, we often come here. if you're used to americanized korean food, which ig you wouldn't be able to differentiate if you haven't had homemade korean food, maybe this isn't for you. but if you like traditional korean food like 은대구조림, this is nice. the lady who runs it doesn't speak fluent english, so if you don't speak korean, pls look into what dishes you want to order ahead of time. most customers are middle aged-elders

We were craving some warm pho on a cold night, and Soup Shop sounded like the perfect spot. The plaza Soup Shop is located in is usually super crowded, but if you go after 9pm when most of the other restaurants and shops are closed, you'll find plenty of parking. Write your name down on the waiting list at the front podium and then wait for your name to be called. They have a few seats to wait right outside the door. Once we were seated, we were given menus. I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! For entrees, we got the Chicken Pho and the Pho Ribeye. For the chicken Pho, you can get it with thigh or breast meat. I got it with breast meat, and they gave a good amount of meat! A little dry, but I appreciated that it was nice and lean. The flavor of the soup is really good. Pho Ribeye was also tasty! Hit the spot.

June 2026 Updated review:…read more Bowls have been dumbed down by 40%. Less meat, more noodles, less broth and less veggie amenities. Truly disappointing since they upped the prices as well. So you're paying more for less good food. I would hope they read my reviews and go back to how they served big bowls of yummy pho with great ingredients. I know food is expensive but they've already increased their prices to offshoot current inflation. SO GO BACK TO HOW YOU USED TO SERVE PHO.

I absolutely loved the crispy bottom layer because it added such a satisfying crunch to every bite. The inside stayed really juicy and flavorful with a good balance of pork, shrimp, and chives. The Juicy Pork Dumplings had soup inside, which was rich and savory. I've had soup dumplings before where the wrapper breaks apart too easily, but these held together nicely while still staying soft and delicate. The Wonton in Spicy Sauce was my personal favorite from the entire meal. The spicy sauce flavor was savory with a little sweetness. I'm typically not good with spice, so this is at a spice level that should be very manageable for everyone. I absolutely loved the spicy sauce, so I started putting it on everything. Definitely put the sauce on the chicken fried rice! The Chicken Fried Rice was a great dish to pair with everything else that we ordered. With several orders of entrees, a solid rice dish is a must order for any Chinese meal. The rice had a nice savory flavor that I enjoyed, and there was a generous amount of chicken mixed throughout the dish. I even asked the waitress if they do anything special with the fried rice because it tasted better than many other restaurants. It felt comforting and balanced compared to some of the heavier dishes. The Dry Fried String Beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crispness while still being tender. The garlic and seasoning gave them so much flavor that it honestly didn't even feel like I was eating vegetables. I do have to note that these were very much on the salty side, so if you don't like foods that are too salty, I would choose a different dish. The Orange Chicken was really crispy and juicy, which I appreciated because soggy orange chicken is always disappointing to me. The sauce had a nice citrus flavor while still keeping that classic sweet savory taste. The Spring Rolls were simple with vegetable filling on the inside with a crispy outside. I would try a different appetizer next time. The Kung Pao Shrimp was packed with flavor and had a really satisfying combination of textures. The shrimp were tender, and the peanuts added a great crunch to the dish. I thought the sauce had a really nice balance of spice and savoriness without becoming overwhelming. Another dish I really enjoyed was the Beef Roll Pancake. The pancake itself was nice and chewy throughout each bite. The sliced beef with green onions and sauce all wrapped together made every bite really flavorful and satisfying. For drinks, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. I really liked that the jasmine tea flavor was noticeable instead of being overly sweet like some milk teas can be. The boba had a soft chewy texture, and the drink itself paired perfectly with the spicy and savory dishes from the meal. Staff: All of the staff members were quick and friendly Ambiance: Indoor seating only. A good amount of parking in the parking lot that is shared with other shops in the plaza.

I have liked everything I've tried, but I mainly love coming for their noodle soups! The noodle soups are really yum, very filling, and you can choose what type of noodle you want!! I believe they have knife cut, flat noodle, and a round noodle (?). But I personally really like flat or knife cut for the soups! Most recently I tried the chicken chow mein and it was good! Only thing is we ordered it spicy, and in all honesty it's really not spicy at all! Lol I would have preferred more of a kick, but that's just me maybe! The plates are shareable here which is really nice cause we can always try different things! One main thing I recommend is definitely the beef roll pancake!!! It's so sooo good! One of my fav things on the menu! The inside is clean. Not a super huge place, but I never have felt crammed or uncomfortable. Both the Signature Potstickers and Signature Dumplings have the same filling so I'm assuming it's the same if you were to order the Kimchi version. The Signature filling has a good amount of meat and veggies. I prefer the Potstickers because I found the crunchy texture better suited with the filling. The Corn Chowder was okay, it had corn and pork in it. It was simple so there wasn't anything bad or good about it. The employees are very kind and helpful! I asked the employee in the front if he preferred the Signature or Kimchi, and he told me he recommended the Signature first to try it out. I am now interested in trying out the Kimchi version too.
