One of the most unwelcoming person I encountered, when my wife asked for napkins she told her you can get it yourself!
    Ken Y.

FOOD: We heard alot of good things about the restaurant so I went with my family and ordered the chicken, jjampong, and tangsuyuk. We were not a fan of the tangsuyuk and the chicken. The chicken was alot greasier than normal fried chicken and the breading of the tangsuyuk was not appetizing. The only thing we enjoyed was the jjampong. The soup base was very delicious and it had the perfect amount of spiciness. The jjampong is the only thing we would order again. Overall, the food was decent but nothing above average. SERVICE: In excitement I approached the counter with a smile. My smile quickly disappeared with the attitude and body language of the lady at the register. As I was ordering my food the lady would quickly show her frustration when I would hesitate between my order which was only a couple of seconds. It got to the point where I stepped away and let my wife finish the order. My wife also approached the same lady and asked for napkins. Her response was, "You can get it yourself!" I was shocked with the service and because of it they lost a customer. Food was a 3 but because of the service it was a 2.

Trash service. The ladies here are absolutely rude and stingy with supplies. The food is subpar so go take your business elsewhere

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

It is self served, in which you go up to order, they'll give you a plate for self served banchan, and you grab your own utensils. Once you're done, you have to return the trays and plates back. The food is made to order and very tasty. We ordered all their "must try" and it was really good. The side dishes were definitely home made. I highly recommend the seafood pork bone soup noodle because it was super tasty, but be aware that mild is still kind of spicy. The lady in the front was strict but reasonable, just like any real place should be. Customers were mostly family they knew the place and chatted with the boss. The atmosphere is very simple with tables that you can sit anywhere.

It "looks like a typical burger joint inside with Booths. There's a side door for to go orders. Food service was quick and the portions are big. For their price, I would hope so. We ordered the following: Bulgolgi Fries Garlic Steak Noodle Egg Cheese corn Ranking in best to so-so, I'd have to say is the steamed egg. Yes, I was surprised too. I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. I'm glad I finally tried this place, but I don't know if I would come back for anything on their menu. I would rather go next door or across the street.

From the friendly service that made us feel like home, to the delicious food, everything hit the spot. We ordered the cold noodle, seafood pancake, bibambap, and short rib combo. All the dishes were so good! And all the banchan that came with it was the cherry on top. The only negative was the table was kind of small for all the dishes...though that could have been user error with us ordering way too much. Portions were surprisingly big, especially the seafood pancake. The whole time, our littlest one was making a mess and the ladies that worked there did not seem perturbed at all, and kept commenting about how cute he was and interacting with him. This type of service and response made us feel more at ease and able to "enjoy" our meal, and that makes a world of difference. I would recommend! Note the parking lot is a little small.

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

The pork cutlet is pretty big, and the crunch factor is definitely there. We also got the mini toppokki and the chicken bulgogi, which were both flavorful. Service was wonderful- the lady taking care of us was friendly and accommodating. It was my first time trying it because that's what my friends recommended, but normally I would've gone with the seafood or beef tofu soup for way more protein, plus a plate of galbi or bulgogi on the side Honestly next time I'm definitely doing tofu soup with galbi instead -- better combo in my opinion and probably more filling than that giant soup that's supposed to serve 3. The teokbokki was super good though, and all the side dishes were hittin too Especially the fresh kimchi... not too sour or overly fermented like some places. Service was crazy fast even though we pulled up around 10:30pm, and the servers were super friendly. Ambiance was your classic chill Korean spot, nothing fancy but solid vibes all around

The portions were generous too -- I ordered thinking it would be enough for two people, but honestly it could've fed three. The flavors were very clean and well-balanced overall. They also gave me some fish cake soup on the side when I asked, which was a nice touch. The only downside was the wait.
