My kids love soondae from this place! Very chewy and yummy. Owner provides great services too!

Genuine concern for the customer's well being, and integrity is how I would describe my experience here. First time eating here. The lady that served me wasn't in it for the money, but assisted me by ordering the food I really wanted to eat, and actually discouraging me from ordering something much more expensive where I won't be able to finish and have a great experience. She was very welcoming and always tried to provide me a healthier option at no cost. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and quiet. The TV wasn't on for some reason but I didn't mind that at all. It was Chinese new year so the lady provided me some dduks in celebration (what's in the pink dish). They also offer shik-hae, a traditional sweet Korean sweet drink which takes a whole day to make for free after your meal. Not many places offer this anymore and was pleasantly surprised. The food tasted great and I have no complaints.

The servers are soooo sweet and they played the World Series! We paid and sat around for a while after finishing our meal and ended up leaving while the servers were in the back, and the lady working the register came running outside the restaurant to say bye to us

Seoul Soondae has been a staple in my family for years and the quality of their food is consistent. The prices are much higher than in most places but the portion of meat with the sundae jungsheek is fair. We always got our meals Togo so I can only speak for take-out orders. The location has several booths for dining in.

I was in the mood for Korean food so decided to go to Seoul Soondae. I had gotten takeout once before, but decided to try dining in for the first time. The menu isn't too too big, though there are some additional items posted on the walls. As the name of the restaurant suggests, they specialize in soondae (Korean blood sausage). We ordered the Soon Dae Jung Shik and Sullung Tang. The combination came with soondae and sliced meats, plus soup. Banchan were okay, radish and cabbage kimchi plus pickled chilies and garlic and dried tiny fish with pine and peanuts. Rice and soups were delicious. Soondae was tasty, though the sliced liver was a bit dry for me (I'm not the biggest fan of liver to begin with). Service was decent; though they don't have the best English we were able to communicate enough. The best part was the refreshing chilled sikhye (rice punch) at the end of the meal. Prices were fair, $53 before tips for this meal. Highly recommend!

My mom also tried this place and recommended it, so I felt confident this would be a spot I would be coming often. We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. The lady was nice when she seated us, but seemed a little bothered when we only ordered the above items, because she coldly asked "if that was all" and we said yes. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. Despite the rough start with the vibe of the lady who took our order I was still hopeful the food itself would make up for it. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. After the meal, I got really thirsty and my face was puffy so they are using msg. If it was a good meal, I wouldn't have minded the msg, but for food that was mediocre at best was not worth it. Although I won't be back, I did see people ordering for take out nonstop, so there must be some other dish that is giving them customers.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

I highly recommend the seafood pork bone soup noodle because it was super tasty, but be aware that mild is still kind of spicy. The lady in the front was strict but reasonable, just like any real place should be. Customers were mostly family they knew the place and chatted with the boss. The atmosphere is very simple with tables that you can sit anywhere.

Unfortunately, this ended up being one of the worst dining experiences I've had at a BCD Tofu location. Right away, one of our rice bowls never came out. We mentioned it to our server and she said she'd bring it over, but she never did. We kept waiting while everyone else was already eating. Then came the part that honestly grossed all of us out. We had stacked all of our dirty side dish plates together to help clear space on the table. When we asked for refills on the banchan, instead of bringing fresh plates, the server literally unstacked the dirty used plates from the pile and started refilling those same dirty plates. That felt extremely unsanitary and honestly like something a health inspector or corporate would not be okay with at all. To make things worse, when we asked for a water refill, the server spilled water all over my Crocs and socks. Accidents happen, but there was barely any apology or urgency after it happened. The floor was also super dirty and the entire restaurant just felt poorly maintained. Between the careless service, lack of cleanliness, and unsanitary handling of dishes, this location seriously needs improvement. We came in excited to finally have a comforting meal after a long weekend and left completely disappointed.
