Gangnam Kimbob is located in a small center with different shops. The restaurant itself isn't too big but the food is really good! We called to place an order and the person who answered was really friendly. We got the bulgogi kimbob and shrimp tempura kimbob. Each came with 10. Definitely more than enough for two people and for the price it's a great value. The flavor was incredible. Will be coming again!!

A small, family-run hidden gem with the nicest owners serving up seriously loaded kimbap! Everything is made fresh to order, with over 20 varieties such as bulgogi, unagi, tempura, tonkatsu, ssam, and plenty of vegetarian options. Their kimbap stands out with generous fillings-more ingredients than rice in every bite. And don't skip the rest of the menu. The spicy rice cakes, chicken skewers, sodduk, and yubu were all packed with flavor. We're already planning our next visit!

Amazing kimbap. You would think if you had one kimbap, you've had them all, but Gangnam just hits. We bought 3 today, Spicy Ssam, Tuna & Eel, all were delicious, but the Spicy Ssam was just a nice surprise for an uncommon flavor. They have other menu items including rameyon, tteobokki, dumpings, etc. Seating is limited, would not recommend for large groups (just order to go). Parking is limited. Service is quick and friendly. Can't wait to come again!

Parking lot can feel tight sometimes . "Kimbap (or gimbap) is a popular Korean dish of cooked rice, vegetables, meat, or fish rolled in dried seaweed (gim) and sliced into bite-sized pieces, often served as a picnic food or snack, distinct from sushi by its sesame oil-seasoned rice and typically cooked fillings. Its name means "seaweed rice," and fillings commonly include carrots, spinach, pickled radish (danmuji), egg, fish cake, beef, or tuna, making it a versatile, hearty, and savory meal" The menu has a big variety, look for their lunch specials. I'm excited to come back to try other items. Customer service was friendly. Quaint place, a handful of seats, many people order togo. They also offer kimbap for catering, perfect for family parties :)

We have been watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix, and decided to come get some kimbap. Gangnam Kimbob is located in a small strip mall with some parking spots. There are a few seats for dining in but a lot of people get takeout or food delivery. There are many kimbap options as well as some non-kimbap dishes. Each roll is generous in portion and size, ranging from $8-12. I also added a small udon soup, which FYI has no actual udon noodle (it's just the broth). We ordered fish cake, eel, and spicy ssam kimbap. There is also a dispenser with cold/hot water and some tea bags near the door. Overall recommend for a casual meal of kimbap!

One of my favorite snacks/quick bite to eat for lunch is kimbap. When I saw that there was a new kimbap place in Cerritos, I had to go and try it! I ordered via DoorDash the Burdok, Spam, Bulgogi, and House Special kimbap (bulgogi, shrimp tempura with veggies), and Spicy Rice Cake (ddukbokki). My favorite kimbap was the House Special. The others were good but not as memorable. Next time I want to try the Jalapeño (deep fried jalapeño with veggies), Jay Special (unagi, cream cheese, crabmeat - all deep fried), and Carbo Buldak-Bokkeum (carbonara + buldak ramen noodles).

Delicious Kimbap! I'm really happy I ordered today to know that there's such a solid spot near me. I tried the Ssam, fish cake, and fried shrimp, and they all tasted great! Favorite was the ssam. Will definitely be back to try more.

We grabbed a variety of Kimbob for our holiday celebration. It included the house special bulgogi and shrimp tempura, eel tempura, fish cake, tuna, spicy Kim chi,and katsu. It was a nice variety and a great spread. There was a lot of filling and the rice layer is thin, which I like. Please come and create your own adventure.

Kimbap rolls were all 5/5. I especially loved the spam, house special, and kimchi. I did not expect the portion size of one roll to be as big as it was! Definitely could be 2 meals for one order. Each roll comes with the yellow radish. We also got the cheese rice cake with egg. Delicious but standard. This mom and pop store is more so of a take out spot. We called in our order and service was quick. Would love to come back!

Kimbap is a dish that I can eat for days and not ever get tired of. I've tried multiple places in the west coast, east coast, and in South Korea. The kimbap here is very fresh and made to order just like my other favorite locations. Price is great for what you get, the kimbap is huge and stuffed with lots of ingredients. I tried the shrimp tempura, fishcake, and bulgogi. The bulgogi was hardest to eat simply because of how big it was. Flavor for all three were pretty good. The shrimp tempura was fresh and they didn't skimp on it. Personally didn't care for the sauce in it but I can see why they would put it in for the shrimp tempura kimbap. I think my favorite was the fish cake overall. They have catering options which is nice and other food items on their menu. I like that they have space for customers to dine in and they offer water/tea. Bathroom is nice and clean. Would definitely come back in the future!

This is an unassuming place located in a small strip mall type of location that offers a robust selection of kimbob and other delicious quick meals. I ordered their House Special and Spicy pork filled kimbob along with shrimp tempura. The inside of the shop has counter seats and everything is made fresh on the spot after you order. The meals look small and underwhelming except it's very filling, flavorful, and FRESH. I usually abhor having lettuce inside any of my food as it can get soggy or adds very little to no crunch/ nutritional value. I am glad they included it in my spicy ssam kimbob as it made everything taste more balanced texturally and flavor wise. It also got me full a lot quicker. I could only eat maybe 2 of the house specials and two of the spicy pork ones. So don't let the appearance of those beautifully wrapped up kimbob fool you. They are REALLY filling. I also appreciated the freshly fried shrimp tempura. The dipping sauce was not too sweet and just light enough to add more flavor. I can't wait to try out their other kimbob creations. What a nice spot to get a light but filling meal from.

I'm incredibly thankful that this restaurant came through with our catering order. We placed a large request for about 40 gimbap rolls: CALIFORNIA, SPAM, TUNA, and BULGOGI, along with SPICY RICE CAKES and SPICY RICE CAKE AND SAUSAGE SKEWERS. Everything was completed just in time for our event, and the feedback from our guests was overwhelming. The gimbap rolls were a major hit. They were GENEROUS IN SIZE (each about the diameter of a silver dollar), packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. The Spicy Rice Cake & Sausage skewers were truly out of this world, with six to eight layers of sausage and rice cakes brushed with a rich gochujang glaze, PERFECTLY BALANCED and VISUALLY STUNNING. Our guests couldn't stop praising the variety and quality. If you're looking for the best gimbap spot in town, this place absolutely delivers. NO CAP.

Their kimbap are huge. I usually get three orders and share with my partner and we always have at least half of one order leftover. Each piece is packed with so much and tastes very fresh. They have so many different varieties of kimbap and you can't really go wrong with any! I especially like the California and eel one. The California one is kind of like a Korean California roll if you will. Each order comes with a small side of pickled radish. Each piece already has a small piece of pickled radish but it's nice to have extra on the side in case you want an extra bite of crunch! I like to call to order and they are quick and usually done within 10-15 minutes. They do have some bar-like seating indoors but I don't often see people dining in so I just take them to-go.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

We ordered the naengmyeon combo with spicy marinated pork and a side of soybean paste stew. She walked away then yells back asking if we wanted rice because rice wasn't included, and we said no. I've never had naengmyeon that had so much chili flakes, and as someone who doesn't mind them, it was weird. The soybean paste soup was bland. And the side dishes were just okay. Expect it to be cold in there no matter the day or season - gotta keep you cool when you're eating hot soup! Tables can feel a bit close to each other depending on where you sit. And it does get busy during the usual nights & weekends so expect that. Overall, delicious food with a home cooked feel and good service. I'd say my only gripe is that parking can get busy, but there's plenty of parking throughout the plaza.

It's a small authentic Korean joint that's family-owned. The ambiance isn't the best but the food definitely makes up for it; it's more of an older generation vibe. They have restrooms while they might not be the best and there's ample parking. The service is welcoming and friendly. Their side dishes are simple and you can ask for more for no charge. The salt and green onions are self-serve. I always get their Seolleongtang or Kong Na Mool Guk Bap and they both come with rice. They both taste great and are often considered a hangover cure. If you want to add noodles, you can choose between white or glass. Near the end of your meal, they give you Sikhye as a little treat. Sikhye is a traditional sweet rice punch. I think this is for dine-in customers only, I'm not sure if they'll pack it for take-out orders. This place is never too packed and it's a great place to dine if you're looking for something light hearty and a warm meal!

The menu on the wall is Korean but the menu itself has English words on it. Love the side dishes - kimchi, seaweed, and radish with the typical unlimited refills. I got the suluntang (dont know how to spell) #1 which is the basic order. It comes with a side of rice and the choice of vermicelli or glass noodle. I love glass noodles so of course I chose that. It's nice because you can add as much or as little salt as you want and the same goes for the green onion. It is such a soothing soup on a cold day and the side dishes make the food very refreshing. Very home-y feeling inside with the aunties working there. Lots of parking since it shares a parking lot with other restaurants/shops/supermarket nearby. I would come back again for a nice warm soup when I am in town.
