The food was fresh and delicious! We had the kimbap, burdock, perilla, etc. The Korean fried chicken was yummy! Friendly service. We'll be back!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and grabbed a Pork Bulgogi Bowl, a Beef Bulgogi Bowl, and a Beef Bulgogi Kimbap. There was a wide selection of bowls and Kimbap that you could pick up ready to eat. There's no space for eating inside so we took our food to go. The staff was friendly and offered to answer any questions we may have had. Would recommend dropping by for a quick lunch or dinner bowl. The food was delicious and was very filling. The bowls were $10.50 and the Kimbap was $8-neither of which were very expensive.

An unassuming, strip mall korean joint serving hand held, picnic classics like kimbap, tteokbokki of various varieties + protein options. It's in a competitive location, as there are some excellent, comparable joints in the greater BP area. However, even with this in mind, the $ to quality ratio here is superb, like a satisfying sleeve of delicious kimbap for around 7 bucks good. This place is a no brainer for an anytime, cheap yet delicious korean food. 5 stars.

Yoooo came here from this Tiktok and instagram. I saw it twice and I was like "dam, it's a sign." and this place had like a $1 Ttekobkiii and it was FIRE i'm talking about FIRE WITH THE FOOD AND THE PLACE. Just look at the picture below. I ran out of storage so please ignore the right lower icon. My camera roll is filled with like 1000k pictures of my girlfriend and she won't let me delete them. I apologize brothers for the blurry picture but THE FOOD IS FIRE 10/10 for the $1 ttekobiik!! it fills you up so good if you like spicy, you came to the right place!! that spice got me siZzzling 10/10 for the portion! they have really good combo deals! 10/10 for the customer service it's a little small inside with a couple of seats

New banchan place in BP! All the side dishes are fresh and clean quality. Very decently priced and perfect portions to try variety. They have different kinds of kimbaps and korean lunchboxes that are made fresh each day. Also, the pumpkin shikhye is my new obsession here. Will definitely come back as a regular now.

MAMA'S TBK in a cup and ugly sticks (mozzarella sticks)

My sister & I saw the $1 deal (goes until end of March) for the Mama's TBK in a cup on TikTok. It was very good and had a lot inside especially for the size of the cup! It had rice cakes, corn, fish cakes, sausages, green onion, and kimchi cabbage. We both really liked the sauce because of the strong kimchi flavor & it wasn't too sweet like most tteokbokki sauces. The ugly sticks/mozzarella sticks (4 pieces for $7) were decent, but also a bit small for the price. They taste good dipped into the tteokbokki sauce! The cashier was super nice and checked in on us to see if we needed anything else while we were dining in :) Definitely would come back in the future!

Saw that there was a soft opening for this spot and decided to give it a try! They have $1 tteokbokki until the end of March, so we ordered two Mama's TBK and bulgogi fries. I got my tteokbokki with normal spice and it did not overwhelm the flavors of the add ins. The portion is generous for ONE DOLLAR! It comes with rice cake, fish cake, sausage, cabbage, cheese and corn on top. Normally I do not order tteokbokki at restaurants because it is a simple dish to make at home, but this place makes theirs so yummy! The bulgogi fries were $17.50 and were just okay. They are generous with the toppings but I found it to be a bit underwhelming for the price. The shop is small and it is more of a take-out spot than dine-in. The cashier was very sweet and offered drinks on the house. Overall I definitely recommend giving this spot a try if you love Korean street food!

UHMAMAMA is an absolute game-changer for Korean street food lovers! I was blown away by the tteokbokki!!!!! EVEN though I usually shy away from spice, I couldn't get enough. It's the perfect mix of sweet, savory, and just the right kick. And don't even get me started on the portions -- they're HUGE. H U G E. Seriously, you'll be stuffed and still craving more. The vibes are immaculate, the food is fresh, and every bite is pure happiness. MY NEW GO TO KOREAN STREET FOOD SPOT

    Japchae
    Jessica P.

I catered japchae (korean glass noodles) from this place and it was very flavorful and delicious! I ordered a bunch of their other side dishes and they were all tasty. They have a wide variety of side dishes to choose from. If you're looking for quality sides dishes this place is perfect! Definitely will be back to try some of the hot foods and other items.

5 stars for the exceptional hospitality and delicious food! I came in a little past 2pm on a Saturday not knowing they close earlier than usual.. The nice lady already had the door locked but saw me walking up and still opened the door for me. They only had a few things left over but she happily explained what each item was. She even threw in a free pack of gobo for me. I had no idea what it was but she gave me a sample and it was delicious! I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes! The little kimbap rolls and gobo were the star of the show for me! Im so glad I discovered something new.

No odeng at the time of service, so will come back later! Came for the 1$ 떡볶이!! Looks delicious and mouthwatering

I have been here before in the month of February that I have came across on instagram reels and came to try their food. I really enjoy the rice cakes, it is actually more spicy than normal than other rice cakes I've tried so far so I would suggest the mild spice. Got the $1 tteokbokki rice cakes. So good!!

The meal starts off with lighter dishes like porridge, salad, and water kimchi to warm up your stomach. After that, a variety of starters come out including spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, glass noodles, and a beautiful platter of nine delicacies. Everything was thoughtfully presented and flavorful. The highlight of the meal was definitely the assorted premium wagyu cuts, which are grilled to perfection over charcoal. The meat was incredibly tender, rich, and packed with flavor. Pairing it with naengmyun and soybean paste soup made the whole experience even better. What surprised me most was how many courses kept coming out throughout the meal. Even after the wagyu, they brought fried dishes, seasonal items, tricolor pancake, and dessert to finish everything off. Overall, the course felt very complete and satisfying, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. If you're looking for a more elevated Korean BBQ experience in OC, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

I had tried their weekday lunch special before on November 11th, 2025 and remembered it was really delicious. This time, my brother was curious about the lunch special and wanted to try it, so we decided to visit again. The weekday lunch special is $39 per person + tax + tip and includes braised short ribs (galbijjim), gujeolpan, bibimbap, and doenjang jjigae. The galbijjim was so tender and flavorful, and both the bibimbap and doenjang jjigae were also very delicious. However, the gujeolpan portion was noticeably smaller compared to our visit last November. Back then, there was enough for each person to have about two servings, but yesterday it was only enough for one small serving per person. The staff are usually very friendly, which I really appreciate, but yesterday it seemed very busy. They didn't check on our table and even when we asked for water, it took a while to arrive. However, the food is consistently good, and the staff are generally kind, so this is still one of my favorite Korean traditional (hanjeongsik) restaurants. cf 1) After the meal, they serve sujeonggwa as dessert, which I also enjoyed. cf 2) However, there was one issue. Before the food was served, one of the waiters (I'm not sure who) apparently placed My Mom's cell phone on top of the small plate used for sharing side dishes. I didn't see it myself because I had stepped out to use the restroom, but my Mom told me about it when I came back. Placing a cellphone on a plate meant for food is unsanitary and inappropriate. My Mom asked for the plate to be replaced, and it was changed very quickly.

Food: I ordered the beef gyugatsu. When you order (on the tablet) it will give you a choice if you want the full set or just the meat only. Of course I had to try the full set. It came with 2 sauces, salad, edamame, radish, rice, and a bowl of miso soup. It was delicious! Meat also came with a little grill for u to cook on and wasabi on the side. My partner ordered the curry pork cutlet. Pork cutlet was a tad bit dry, nothing crazy but the sauces that came with it made it better! It also came with miso soup, salad, radish, edamame, and a bowl of rice. Since my partner ordered the curry cutlet, ofc it came with a bowl of curry and katsu sauce on the side. Both meals were delicious! 8/10 rating for food! Ambiance: cute, clean, nice and small! You order on the tablet. They close around 830pm keep in mind! Overall I will come back to try their other food items on the menu!

We came the last hour of closing and there was still a couple of tables eating inside still. We were greeted upon arrival and we didn't need them to tell us how to order as the only thing on the table was the ordering tablet (self-explanatory). We ended up ordering the premium gyu katsu set along with the curry pork cutlet set that comes with rice and sides along with some beer. The drinks and food came out fairly quick and were steaming hot. I like that the curry came on the side so the pork cutlet wouldn't get soggy and you could pour over as much as you want over the cutlets. The veggie sides were a nice touch and complemented the meal well. The gyu katsu didn't taste like Japan to us, but it was still good especially with the wasabi and sweet soy sauce that came with it. If I came back here, I would give the beef tongue a try along with the creamy udon because those also seemed like a favorite for customers. Service here was friendly and we were checked up on multiple times without having to flag someone down.
