    catering lunchbox for work
    Kaylie C.

Food is really clean and tasty, yet I could really tell they don't use any bad msg. I tried their catering lunch box through my work, and I loved all their food so far! The ingredients are really fresh and well cooked. If you're Korean, you would be able to tell the chef of this place is someone who knows the authentic flavor of Korean dishes. It's also really clean and warm too. Highly recommended if you are looking for a catering place near OC!

Biggest variety of Korean food I've seen in awhile!!

Being Korean myself, I'm very picky when it comes to korean food. If it doesn't taste similar to my mom or grandmas, I usually don't enjoy it. This place not only has authentic Korean food but the owner and workers are perfect examples of Korean hospitality. People view asians as being rude, snappy people but coming here I guarantee you that your views will change. I ordered the pork cutlet and spicy stew with pork rib and potato, and my god... Couldn't finish of course but took some to go to enjoy later. You will not regret coming here. For you boring people who stick with the same food every single day, eating microwave lasagna and meatloaf, get off your couch and try this place out!

    Huge pork cutlet
    jeannie c.

Their pork cutlet is a little different from other places. They serve it covered with sauce, instead of on the side. The sauce tasted like 'sweet and sour pork sauce' from Chinese restaurant. Next time, I'll ask for the sauce on the side. That way, I can really enjoy the crispy pork cutlet until the last bite! They had a 40+ items on the menu. The service was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back to try other items!

The workers are very nice and the food is great, especially the donkatsu! Our family usually comes at least once a month!

Their kimchi is good, and their kimchi chigae is even better; nice and sour! The two times I went they weren't crowded.

It's in a small, almost empty-ish plaza, but it's a little mom-and-pop gem. Ambiance (5/5): Walk right in and you'll see that it's on the small side, but a cute and simple restaurant with family vibes. Depending on the time of day, it can feel somewhat empty while at other times somewhat busy. Service (3/5): It's nothing too special, but the workers are always friendly. It's somewhat self serve. You order at the front and then you wait for them to call your order. Then you pick up your tray of food, eat, and place the trays towards the front when done. Food (5/5): Everything we have eaten here over the years is so yummy. Their hot stone bibimbap is chock-full of ingredients with just the right amount of sesame oil and flavor; we often have to pack some of it to go. Their army stew (budaejigae) is my absolute favorite, and I've compared it to a lot of other Korean stew places, some way pricier and this one still takes the cake. It has a wonderful roasted flavor from all the meats they put in and I love going for the ramen first. I always take extra to go since it's small but filling. The best part? Let's not forget that they have self serve all-you-can-eat banchan (side dishes) and they do not skimp on variety. There's your usuals like the napa kimchi, radish kimchi and fish cakes, but they also have mac salad, potato salad, japchae and other goodies which works well for your picky toddlers. Overall, this is a wonderful little restaurant that deserves a visit over and over when you're just craving some comfort korean food at decent prices.

It is self served, in which you go up to order, they'll give you a plate for self served banchan, and you grab your own utensils. Once you're done, you have to return the trays and plates back. The food is made to order and very tasty. We ordered all their "must try" and it was really good. The side dishes were definitely home made. I highly recommend the seafood pork bone soup noodle because it was super tasty, but be aware that mild is still kind of spicy. The lady in the front was strict but reasonable, just like any real place should be. Customers were mostly family they knew the place and chatted with the boss. The atmosphere is very simple with tables that you can sit anywhere.

It "looks like a typical burger joint inside with Booths. There's a side door for to go orders. Food service was quick and the portions are big. For their price, I would hope so. We ordered the following: Bulgolgi Fries Garlic Steak Noodle Egg Cheese corn Ranking in best to so-so, I'd have to say is the steamed egg. Yes, I was surprised too. I thought the Bulgolgi fries would be number one. Sadly it's not. If you mess up steamed egg, ima gonna say no to the rest of your menu. I would order two next time and just stick to that. The cheese corn was okay, but compared to PaDak and other local Korean spot I say skip this. The cheese tasted weird to me and I did t like that it was also a kraft American cheese. As a cheese lover, I only expect that square cheese to be on a burger or cheese melt. The Bulgolgi Fries could serve 3 people. But it was drenched with sauce, and spicy sauce. Not enough Bulgolgi to pay $20. The cut of fries were this nd tasted like sweet potato. It just didn't fit my taste buds. The Garlic noodle okay. That's Al I have to say about that. I'm glad I finally tried this place, but I don't know if I would come back for anything on their menu. I would rather go next door or across the street.

I went with the Silver Special and the bulgogi (top favorite here), beef belly, and brisket were all so good. The meat looked and tasted really high quality too, and they changed the grill quickly and often which I appreciated. Honestly, the whole menu looked amazing. I came in hungry and left completely full, but still wished I could've tried more definitely a sign I need to come back. I also noticed they had tortillas on the menu which was a cool fusion touch. We arrived at about 6 o'clock on a Friday night and had to wait about 15 minutes. They have an electronic check-in system and you just enter your name and number in your party and wait. We tried to do it in advance, but it had been taken off-line from the Yelp app. The place was very busy and bustling with activity. It's a no nonsense resturant that is clean. Some of the tables are shared so you will have a table with two burners that can accommodate two parties of four. While we were close to our neighbors, we had enough separation that we felt like we had a private table. Once we were seated, we were presented the menu that has essentially three AYCE menu options. Our waiter was very attentive and explained the online ordering to us and we were off. When we ordered the the food, it came out quickly. The meat was tender and flavorful. The banchan was pretty standard, but good. I particularly liked the spicy pork and the glass noodles. My family really enjoyed the brisket and the kimchi pancake. My daughter ordered the spicy Ramen, which was her least favorite thing. It was very peppery tasting. All in all, it was a great place for a family meal. We all enjoyed it very much and are looking forward to coming back.
