It is so incredibly hot inside- granted we went on a pretty warm summer day (84 degrees)- but ventilation is poor. You have to use a QR code to order every single thing like each individual side dish or sauce or rice- WHAT?! So not only do you have to cook the meat that YOU paid for but you gotta do ALL that extra work to eat and sweat like a pig during the whole experience?! And did I mention that you get a very limited time like 60 minutes? On top of that, NO ONE- not a single server bothered to explain to us how things work about having to QR code and "send" the items-until we asked bc i vaguely remembered reading about it in someone's review. Don't even get me started about the banchan (side dishes). They were flavorless and sub-standard- that's being generous. We had suggested this place to celebrate a friend's birthday, and I was honestly embarrassed and shocked so many people gave it such good reviews when our experience was so disappointing. The only reason I even gave it 2 stars is the following: 1) Meat was decent 2) The servers were attentive enough to change our grills out on time 3) They had Shirley Temples, which at least kept the kids happy. Korean BBQ never disappoints! I surprised my husband with dinner at Ziggle Korean BBQ for his birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a great selection of meats and side dishes, reasonable prices, and excellent service. We chose the Golden Package, which gave us plenty of variety, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and made our evening even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time celebrating and will definitely be back. I've been coming here for almost 2 years now. I am not sure if there is a change in management or budget? the quality has gone down drastically. I would always order the gold, which came with the rib finger meat. What I noticed was that it was very gummy and chewy. Also, the thin, sliced pork belly was way too thin to the point I'd have to crape with scissors. Hopefully management and the owners can modify or revert the quality because it's not worth hiking up the price. Yes, gold was not 39.99 back in the day. Please note that the staff is very nice. I've driven past this place 1000 times and finally decided to give a try with my family and was pleasantly surprised. We arrived at about 6 o'clock on a Friday night and had to wait about 15 minutes. They have an electronic check-in system and you just enter your name and number in your party and wait. We tried to do it in advance, but it had been taken off-line from the Yelp app. The place was very busy and bustling with activity. It's a no nonsense resturant that is clean. Some of the tables are shared so you will have a table with two burners that can accommodate two parties of four. While we were close to our neighbors, we had enough separation that we felt like we had a private table. Once we were seated, we were presented the menu that has essentially three AYCE menu options. Our waiter was very attentive and explained the online ordering to us and we were off. When we ordered the the food, it came out quickly. The meat was tender and flavorful. The banchan was pretty standard, but good. I particularly liked the spicy pork and the glass noodles. My family really enjoyed the brisket and the kimchi pancake. My daughter ordered the spicy Ramen, which was her least favorite thing. It was very peppery tasting. All in all, it was a great place for a family meal. Most places will bring the first plate as the high quality round and the lower quality by the second or fourth serving. But no no. Not here. Every. Single. Order. Was. Amazing. The biggest thing is that the cuts are PRIME not choice. Meaning better quality. And for the price, that is unheard of in this economy. What made this experience so amazing was how surprised we were. I know this place has been open for a couple of years now and never had the chance to try it out even after all the reels I've seen of the place. I knew I'd give it a try myself, but I didn't think I was going to take me years to finally give in lol Waitlist is on Yelp! So checking in a saving a spot was a breeze. I got here about 1P on a Sunday and beat the rush as the line stacked up after I arrived. I was able to be seated within 10 min or less. The server has you input your phone number and it sends you a link to place your order on which I thought was really cool. Now I don't have to wave someone down to place my order each time. It does limit you to 4 items at a time but once you send in the order, you can immediately place another order right after. We did the gold menu which was about $40pp and it had a good amount of choices. It is on the pricier side and there was an even higher tier than that. The meat quality was really good and fresh. You could tell by the way it cooks and tastes. Even all the sides and sauces were able to be ordered thru the phone which was nice. Portions were good sized. The servers were really fast and efficient. We kept getting delivered items we didn't order. We think there was a mix up of codes that were being sent to our table but the server was so nice and understanding about the ordeal as well. The restaurant itself is fairly small. It doesn't seat a ton of parties so the wait could be long. But the food and service makes up for the wait. I would definitely come back and eat here again. No clue why this place is rated so high. Meat is the lowest quality, takes 15 min to chew one piece because its so fatty. Horrible ventilation, looks so extremely smoky the second you walk in. First time trying this KBBQ spot and wow... I've seriously been missing out. At first, I thought the whole ordering-through-your-phone setup would feel confusing or take away from the experience, but it was actually super easy and everything came out fast!! The side dishes were all delicious -- especially the spicy cucumbers, potato salad, bean sprouts, kimchi. But the meats were definitely the highlight. I went with the Silver Special and the bulgogi (top favorite here), beef belly, and brisket were all so good. The meat looked and tasted really high quality too, and they changed the grill quickly and often which I appreciated. Honestly, the whole menu looked amazing. I came in hungry and left completely full, but still wished I could've tried more definitely a sign I need to come back. I also noticed they had tortillas on the menu which was a cool fusion touch. The family and I really love this place, we came on a hot summer day because my girls wanted to eat here, I reluctantly gave in to the girls as KBBQ is not something I crave when it's hot. Well, our experience today sucked. It was so hot inside the restaurant, sweat was dripping from my brow, it was awful. The service is typically good, they're good about changing out the grill frequently, but also tend to forget to bring ordered items. Something I'd also like to note is that the floors were very slippery, it was uncomfortable sitting with my feet on the ground as I could feel the slip, the bathroom floor was also extremely wet which didn't help. You scan a QR code and order on your phone (limit 4 main items, unlimited sides at a time, every 2 minutes) and the food comes out SO FAST. The servers are always checking in and the grills are changed frequently. Meat quality is another highlight, we always get the premium menu because the marinated short ribs and wagyu beef belly are amazing and we also love getting rib finger and large intestines here. Other reasons for getting the premium menu? To get unlimited green onion salad, soup, and egg (fluffy and the way I loveeee it) without the extra charge! I also love their corn cheese. Both the green onion salad and regular salad are great here and really helps balance the meat portion. The only items that are so-so to me are some of their banchans (potato salad, bean sprouts, cucumber), but everything else makes up for it. Located in an unassuming strip mall with other restaurants, you can park in the lot or on the street. From the outside, it looks small but inside is large with different areas. On weekdays waits are short, weekends, I've waited up to 45 minutes for a larger group. If you do get premium, check your receipts in case there is an upcharge on the items and let the servers know, they always graciously fix it for us. Great spot for AYCE KBBQ. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this one is deserved. At Ziggle BBQ, I was served meat labeled as "ribeye" that was clearly not ribeye. It was a thin-cut short rib (flanken-style), complete with small bone sections--something anyone familiar with beef cuts would recognize immediately. Charging ribeye prices while serving a cheaper cut is misleading, plain and simple. It feels like they're counting on customers not knowing the difference. That alone killed the experience for me. If a restaurant isn't honest about something as basic as the cut of meat, it makes you question everything else on the menu. Just don't expect high-quality meat. The biggest issue for me was the bulgogi beef. It had a sour, tangy taste that didn't seem right. Bulgogi is supposed to be sweet and savory, but this tasted like the marinade had gone bad. I didn't even eat it because i was more worried of how I would be afterwards. Their cooked chicken was also a bit hard and the ramen soup was not consistent with the taste as we ordered 2 and the 2 ramen both tasted differently from one another. One was spicy and salty, the other tasted like water downed flavored ramen. The place is not as neat, but good enough. Expect to smell after eating here as it gets smoky. Be careful when you walk as it does get a bit slippery. Our server was friendly and provided good service, so I have no complaints there. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. I came here because I saw reviews saying this place was just as good as, or even better than, Thirsty Cow. After eating here, I honestly don't agree. In my opinion, it wasn't even close. I've been to a lot of budget-friendly Korean BBQ restaurants, and this was probably my least favorite. If you're only looking for the cheapest option, it may be worth trying.
