My husband and I stopped by Nick's Bagels and Espresso in Fullerton for the first time a few weeks ago. As former New Yorkers, we have been on the hunt to find a bagel place we love in the North Orange County area. Unfortunately, Nick's Bagels and Espresso in Fullerton was not this place for us, which was a big disappointment since fellow Yelpers seem to love them. Perhaps, we came on an off-day, but the bagels were not good. They were extremely dry and had a weird a texture with each bite. My husband and I each ordered a breakfast sandwich: - egg, sausage, and cheese on an egg bagel - egg and bacon on a garlic bagel The components inside the bagel were great, but unfortunately, could not salvage our disappointment with the bagels themselves. The staff working that morning were also fantastic. Kind, patient, and efficient. The staff on their own deserve their own star for this rating. Definitely the kind of people you want to start your morning with. The store has some seating inside and outside for customers to enjoy their food. They also have plenty of free parking shared among the other businesses in the lot they're located in. This is the best bagel in Orange County!! Just recently moved back to my hometown and was in desperate search for a solid bagel. Saw all the positive reviews and came here an hour before closing. Susie was AMAZING - the absolute BEST service ever. There were so many options, and I couldn't just pick one! Now I have bagels for the next week. When I came home to finally eat the Salmon Delight, I was literally giggling at how it hit the spot. Cravings have been satisfied! We are visiting from Vegas and spotted this place, so we decided to stop in for coffee and bagels. Five stars all the way. The bagels were amazing and the coffee was absolutely delicious. Our baby had a bagel with avocado and she devoured it! The chai that was recommended was one of the best drinks I have had in a long time, I had to get another after trying it. Love this little bagel spot! We discovered it down the street from the boyfriend's spot and will be making it a weekend stop-in. We had the Asiago with butter and the jalapeño cheese with cream cheese. Love the flavor on both and just the right amount of cream cheese and butter; not dripping or overly exploding, but saturated the bread. The morning crew were super friendly, knew all of the regulars, and I strongly approve of 90's and early 00's rap and hip hop music. Store was clean everywhere as well! I really enjoy Nick's Bagels & Espresso. The shop is very clean and the staff is extremely nice. Nick is at the register a lot and I enjoy talking with him since he is very friendly. I usually get an "All Everything Bagel" with a hint of butter. My wife likes the "Asiago Bagel and crème cheese and any berry bagels. Nicks bagels is literally a bagel gem. Nicks bagels offers some of the most fresh bagels in the Fullerton area. Not only are the bagels fresh daily but the bagel creations are perfect. I've had the veggie delight and avocado and tomato. Both bagels were not only toasted to perfection but the toppings were fresh and delicious. I really enjoy the fresh veggie selection. For some reason tomatoes taste better at Nicks. To match their yummy bagels their staff is also great, quick and always attentive. Came in the other day and asked for a turkey sandwich (subbing the turkey with bacon) and I got a pretty janky sandwich. I asked the cashier about it because the bagel was so thin and half of it looked raw still, but because it was busy and they were closing in 15 minutes my comment got dismissed and I just thought I would deal with it. It was not good. I reached out the next day to the owner and he was more than happy to help me get another sandwich made to redeem themselves. Nick was super reasonable and accommodating to my prior experience and the bagel I got today instead definitely lives up to the rest of the reputation their reviews give. I want to say that the first bagel sandwich I got was just maybe a bad batch. If you look at the difference in the pictures you can see that there is a CLEAR difference in quality of the bagel. Basically moral of the story is, don't be afraid to ask about your food if you don't like it, especially if it's not up to par!
