    Catering service

This review is for the catering service for our event. Firehouse Subs makes it easy to cater any event. Similar to Subway actually. You order a certain number of each kind of sub sandwich that you want, and it comes in a huge box. And each box is labeled so guests at your event can see which is which. This was perfect for our event, as we could do a line and people picked the sandwich they wanted and grabbed a drink and bag of chips. The sandwiches were fresh and tasted good. I like the veggie sub since I'm vegetarian. I think we would use them again for catering service. We did roast beef, pastrami, turkey, ham, and veggie.

I asked for 4 veggie toppings and got ZERO. No tip next time smh

I asked for 4 veggie topping to be added to my meatball sub. The cashier (male) was nice and asked if I wanted the lettuce added AFTER the sub was out of the oven. I said yes. I knew I should have checked my order. Drove all the way home only to open my box and no veggies!

Medium Hook and Ladder. Turkey and ham heated up which is their normal way of preparing it.

T-Mobile Tuesday offer of a bogo deal on their Hook and Ladder sandwich. For $12.49 you received two medium hot turkey and ham sandwich. Because of the deal, it wasn't a bad value, but that deal is obviously not a regular thing and if you're not with T-Mobile you are paying $12.49 for one little sandwich that did not have a lot of meat. It reminded me of Jersey Mikes, which is not much better. There are definitely a lot of better sandwich places around. Because of the offer, you have to use the app to order which I feel takes away from being able to get good customer service. The guy at the counter was nice, but there just wasn't much customer interaction. It's also good that I decided to eat it there because he would have forgotten to give me my drink. I had to ask for my cup. I think because fast food places want very little contact with their customers, they lose the ability to give them above and beyond service that has gone away in most fast food restaurants. If Firehouse subs had a closer location near me, then I might take advantage of specials that they would have. I hope others find them a better value than I do. The one nice thing is they do give donations and support to local Fire Stations.

Five stars because of the service/cleanliness! Firehouse is consistently good, they keep the menu somewhat short and that to me is the sign of a smart business. Do a handful of items well rather than a lot of items so-so. That said, we ended up here late, Google said they close @ 10p, but as we walked in @ 8:55p the sign said 9p. I asked to make sure that it wasn't too late as I really don't like putting folk out, but not only were they polite and gracious, they whipped up some good sandwiches. The place was freshly cleaned proper, and they were good about communicating and labeling the food we ordered. Firehouse = Good This locations staff = Great I recommend, and I'll return.

My bf had a code from his T-Mobil Tuesday discount (BOGO a hook and ladder sandwich) we took it home to eat it so it wasn't 100% fresh. With that being said, this was absolutely DELICIOUS. I can't imagine eating it fresh after it was made!!!! It came in a cute little box with a pickle. You have to give this place a shot! I will definitely be back to try more sandwiches!!!

I love all of their sandwiches. Very solid. If I'm hankering for a sandwich and around the area I will always stop here.

Pulling into the parking lot, I knew this was a very well loved restaurant because the lot was packed ~ and it's a pretty good sized lot! Walking up to the door, it's pretty obvious, in a good way, that it's an establishment that's been around for a while. With bustling deli and pastry cases near the entrance, Benjie's instantly gives off a Cheers vibe, even for this first timer. There's a counter to sit at if you're dining solo, or if you've got more people in your party there are plenty of traditional booths and tables. The menu is extensive with all of the traditional deli/diner favorites. In order to try more, we decided to split everything. We ordered Reuben Fritters as a starter, a Pastrami sandwich on a French roll, and cheese blintzes for dessert. The Reuben Fritters were a nice take on the sandwich with a mixture of tender corned beef and the perfect amount of cheeses and sauerkraut rolled in bread crumbs and fried to perfection. The pastrami sandwich was piled high with meat and served with a side of onion rings. We were already getting full at this point, but we couldn't resist the cheese blintzes that were patiently waiting for us to give them a try. I swear I don't live under a rock, but I've never had blintzes before and these were VERY good! We went with the traditional preparation, although I read someone's review that said these could also be requested fried. Definitely worth a try next time. I'm imagining pure decadence! Our server was friendly and kept on top of keeping our beverages filled and checking to see if we needed anything. We left filled with excellent comfort food and an overall great experience. Looking forward to trying some more things on the menu soon!

You can tell they've been around for a long time in the best way. It has that classic deli feel with a mix of diner, café, and old school market vibes. Service was friendly and helpful, even during the lunch rush. We went around 1 PM on a Thursday, so it was definitely busy, but the wait felt expected and worth it. Portion wise, they do not hold back. You really get a bang for your buck here. The smoked fish platter was the highlight for me. I genuinely loved everything on it. It's perfect for sharing (or for leftovers ). It almost feels like a DIY bagel experience you get to mix and match different toppings and flavors, which I'm obsessed with. Also... I tried an egg bagel for the first time and it lowkey changed my life. They make their bagels in house and sell them by the half dozen but they do sell out. By the time we finished eating, they were already out, so if you want some to take home, grab them as soon as you walk in. The Benjie Special was solid super flavorful and packed with a generous amount of pastrami. It did lean a bit greasy for our taste, but that really just comes down to personal preference. They also offer a variety of cold deli items by the pound, which adds to that classic New York-style deli experience. Overall: A cozy, old school deli with generous portions, quality food, and that nostalgic mom and pop charm. Definitely a spot we'd come back to.

The biscuit was buttery and chewy, the bacon tender and full of flavor, and the jalapeños were sweet with just the right kick. The whole thing looked like something straight out of a commercial, one of those "too good to be true" moments until you take a bite and realize it's very real. All of that for under $7, which is a total steal considering how loaded it was. Funny thing is, I've probably driven past this place a hundred times without noticing.
