Enjoyed the service, ingredients were plenty, but my burger lacked a little something. We were driving back to San Diego and made the random stop. First, this place has a great little diner/burger joint feel. Plenty of booths to sit at, and an outside patio. I ordered the burger with bacon and avocado. I loved that it had a real, thick cut bacon. There was also plenty of avocado. My only critique was that the beef itself tasted plain. Added a little salt and problem solved. We ordered kid chicken tenders, which came in a nice "happy meal" style bag. I enjoyed that the tenders were mostly chicken, not just breaded with a small bit of "white meat". Also got a hot dog which tasted like it just came off a BBQ grill. They also serve breakfast and Mexican food, so this place has a little for everyone. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!! Today is 11-1-25 I placed my order which was incorrect I only got outside the front door when I realized I turn right back around to return it for my money back. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE A REFUND. They said if I wanted my money back I had to wait 40 minutes. I am a busy man and couldn't wait. I walked out with no food and $26 dollars less in my wallet. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!!

This is such a great local restaurant! I just started coming here and I really like the menu. There is a good variety of foods so if you have a taste for burgers or pita and sides or sales. They have it here. And it is all fresh and steamy hot! I usually get the fried mushrooms and zucchini and whatever main course. So good!

    Sausage breakfast burrito
    Anna P.

I got their sausage breakfast burrito for myself and French toast for my bro. The burrito was super mid. I've been to the Orange and Cypress locations. I think Orange has the best burritos, salsa, and fries zucchini. The breakfast burrito from this Anaheim location made me sad to be honest. Something about the egg, cheese, and potato combo in the burrito was super mid. The other Paul's Place locations need to take note of the salsa made in Orange.

Cheeseburger no tomato with grilled onions. Chili cheese fries no onion.

It was walkable, but a little bit of a trek. 100% worth it. Staff was super friendly and helped us figure out what to order (parents weren't sure whether they wanted Mexican or burgers). We ended up getting the Bulgogi burger, a bacon cheeseburger, some onion rings, and a carne asada fry. Ok. The food doesn't photograph well for your instagram, but it's delicious. Lemme tell ya - after an early morning of flying, we inhaled this food. Would absolutely come back. Was good enough that we're considering skipping dinner at the park The inside of the restaurant is clean and has a good mix of table sizes for everyone. Saw a table near us order the chicken teriyaki plate and it looked delicious as well. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

Apollo Burger is located off Chapman in the intersection of Garden Grove, Orange, and Anaheim (technically Garden Grove though). There's plenty of parking, but it can get crowded when the lunch or dinner rush hits. The interior has a bunch of seating, and the restaurant is very bright and clean. The staff were all super friendly, and everything was made fresh and quickly. I got a bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger (sub mayo, add pickles and onions), and both were exactly what you'd look for in an old school, diner-type burger. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were all great. I also got a chocolate shake which I would venture to say was one of the best chocolate shakes I've had in recent memory. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich as well, but unfortunately that was quite dry as they used pieces of chicken vs a full cutlet, so I would recommend avoiding that. This is a great burger joint in OC, and I absolutely plan to come back. If you're in the mood for a diner burger, this place is absolutely the spot to visit.

I would suggest you come with a friend so you can wait out while he grab something to-go. The limited parking contrasts strikingly with the quiet, brick clad industrial interior. The staffs are very nice and welcoming. Service was efficient and it didn't take me too long (about 10-15 min) before I got my two burgers and a Mexican coke ($4.99) for takeout. I got the Firefly Burger ($11.99) and the Wallstreet ($11.99.) I was amazed by how massive the burgers are and I had some difficulties trying to hold it with both hands! Apparently they use a needle to inject the sauce directly into the burger so it's juicier. The ingredients are fresh and quality, especially the patty are fresh and well seasoned. I also appreciate the lingering aroma of mushrooms, which enhances the Wallstreet very well. Overall, Firefly Burgers checks a lot of boxes: generous portions but solid flavors, reasonable prices, quick and friendly service, and a quiet, laid-back atmosphere. Just don't let the parking scare you eh.

My wife ordered the chicken Cesar salad and enjoyed it, though there felt like an inordinate amount of cheese on the salad. Despite it being lunch time we were able to order a cruise through quickly and didn't have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for the food, which was awesome. We sat on the patio which felt like a nice little retreat from the hustle and bustle of downtown Disney, though it still provided all the excellent people watching views! It's certainly not the best food you're going to have in Downtown Disney, but it gets the job done. The only unfortunate bit is that it's way more expensive than it should be, with creative milkshake offerings often starting the price tag in the $20 range. Overall, it was a restaurant that just... is what it is. Wasn't insulting, but also wasn't some life altering experience.

The burger was really good and the fries were decent. The fried mozzarella was really good, but the grated cheese, which I believe was Parmesan, wasn't really needed. The fried mozzarella did well on its own and that cheese on top was an absolute salt bomb. The chocolate shake was flavorful and very interesting. PRO's: a pretty decent burger, and fries. Also, the staff was amazing. I hope management is proud of their employees because they did an outstanding job. CON's: the fries needed seasoning, the grated cheese on the fried mozzarella was way too salty. And unfortunately, they are incredibly overpriced!! We shared this meal and our bill with tax and tip was over $80.

I wanted to share some comprehensive feedback regarding a recent experience, aiming to highlight both your successes and areas where further refinement could elevate the customer journey even further. First and foremost, I must commend your team for their exceptional warmth and hospitality. From my initial phone call to the moment I picked up my order, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued. This level of customer service, which often feels lacking in many establishments today, truly sets American Grub apart. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that significantly enhances the overall experience, and I sincerely hope this commitment to friendliness remains a cornerstone of your operation. However, I encountered a couple of points that, in my personal opinion, warrant consideration for improvement. Regarding the payment process, I felt a degree of apprehension about providing my credit card details over the phone. While I understand the operational need to secure orders and prevent potential losses, particularly for larger transactions, for a single item like my bacon cheeseburger, priced at $17.24 including tax, this practice felt somewhat disproportionate. I also noted the 99-cent fee for online payments, which, while minor, might deter some customers who are seeking convenience without additional charges. Perhaps exploring alternative secure payment links for phone orders or adjusting the fee structure for smaller transactions could enhance customer comfort and streamline the process. My primary concern, however, arose upon returning home. Despite ordering a bacon cheeseburger, I discovered the burger completely lacked bacon, as well as any form of sauce or mayonnaise. This oversight had a significant impact on the meal; the absence of these core components rendered the burger quite bland and far from the experience I had anticipated. When ordering a single item, the expectation for meticulous attention to detail is particularly high, as there are fewer variables. Consequently, the overall value of the meal, given the missing ingredients, was not quite met on this occasion. I did reach out to the owner privately via email to discuss these points, and I appreciate their responsiveness and transparency in addressing my feedback, particularly concerning the rationale behind the phone payment policy. It is reassuring to know that your business is open to customer input. My hope is that these observations can serve as constructive input, allowing American Grub to continue refining its excellent service and product quality. I remain a supporter of your local endeavor and look forward to seeing these aspects addressed. Thank you for reaching out. To clarify, all my reviews and communications are crafted solely from my personal experiences and genuine perspectives, not AI. Every word and insight you read is authentically mine, driven by my commitment to provide honest feedback. Even though the review was long..(lol) I wanted to make sure the details are accurate and understandable.
