Great food good service only complaint is that the patties are a bit thin but great food would recommend

My son and I were at a soccer tournament recently and wanted a quick meal. In the run, it's nice to find places with a lot of options, especially with younger kids. And my son loves Pastrami, so this was an easy decision. The inside was fine. Good amount of seating and plenty of space. Cafeteria style booths. The restaurant has seen better days, but it was kept up pretty well all things considered. Bathroom on the outside is about what you would expect. We had three things. Pastrami, BLT and a nachos. Pastrami was good. Similar to The Hat if you like that style. A bit more fat than I like (I'm used to Jewish Deli style from the east coast), but my son loved it and that's all that mattered. BLT was good as well, although you have to try hard to make a bad BLT. Nachos were awful. You can see in the picture. While the chips were good, there was almost no cheese and it wasn't melted. We were hoping for nacho cheese, but it would have been fine if melted. I would strongly discourage buying these. The staff were very friendly and nice. Overall, probably 3.5 stars. I would have done 4 if not for the nachos. But a decent price with quick friendly service isn't a bad afternoon. read more

I was looking for a last-minute spot as my appetite was kicking in fast, so I searched "breakfast near me" on my route into LA and ended up at Burgertown. The menu had a wide variety of options, but since it was 7:30 in the morning, I went with the steak breakfast burrito. At $14, I was a little skeptical -- that felt a bit high for a place like this. But with family-owned or small diners, there's usually a generous portion, so I was hoping for the best. The burrito definitely had some weight to it -- probably close to two pounds -- so that was a promising start. Inside, there was a good mix of egg, cheese, cilantro, and steak. But honestly, it was packed with a lot of potato, which seemed to make up most of the burrito's size. I would've preferred more steak instead -- it would've balanced things out better. The tortilla was decent too, with a nice texture. Overall, it wasn't a bad burrito, and it got the job done -- I left full. But compared to a lot of the breakfast spots I've tried, this one falls on the more average side. Not sure I'll be back to explore the rest of the menu. read more

Went to this burger spot on the way to Knotts Berry Farm. My son wanted chili cheese fries. They only serve one size no large or small just one size that's really big. I got the cheeseburger which was also really big and very tasty. It cost me about 19 bucks together which isn't bad so if you don't wanna pay those expensive food prices at Knoxberry farm I would definitely recommend you stop by this location before you head to the amusement park. read more

In my quest to find this Orange County's best fried zucchini, I was driving past this spot while hungry and decided to pull in. The inside was clean, the decor was dated. I got the cheeseburger combo with fried zucchini instead of french fries and it cost me a little bit over $18, so this greasy spoon joint is definitely on the pricier side. The burger was solid and quite enjoyable and the fried zucchini was broken into nugget-sized pieces, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This price point, I'm just happy that it was good They us have a $16 plate of carne asada fries that I might come back to check out with my daughter sometime! read more

My husband and I wanted to share a meal since we were going to have a big meal later in the day. Burger Town was a great choice. We split the grilled chicken platter. The chicken was juicy, plentiful, and flavorful. The fries were fresh, and the salad was huge with lots of veggies. I recommend allowing fries AND onion rings on the platters, not just one or the other. Most similar burger places allow you to do both on the platters/ dinners. I'd love to try a burger here eventually. The service wasn't too friendly, but overall, we had a nice breakfast/lunch. Ambiance was quiet. read more

I didn't get my food yet and waiting for it but I assume the portion should be big becuz they are charging alot for just upgrading the fries into chili cheese fries. Stopped by today with my family. I had a great experience as always. The people that work here are really nice, especially one of the cooks. I don't know his name but he has long hair with a long beard! He's great!! Always very nice to us. He even went out of his way to double check with me about how I wanted my carne asada fries! He greeted us and even said good bye to us. Definitely makes you feel welcomed, not like other places, where servers and cooks got that "I don't want to be here" type of face. The restaurant is also always very clean when we go in. So that's always a plus! Anyways, me and my family love this place and the food here is delicious! Especially the carne asada fries! The girl employee is not awake during the job! I called ahead to get my order in and was left on hold for 7mins! By the time I got there, I still hadn't been helped over the phone. I looked inside and no one was there. I can understand if it was busy but there was 1 family in the entire restaurant. I hung up and called again to asked what had happened. The employee she said "I don't know who helped you but it's probably because we're so busy right now. It's cause we're closing soon." Honestly the audacity to lie was astonishing. I want to start off by saying I have been a long time customer for many years. today I ordered three breakfast plates and was pulling up to the window when a car barges in front of me in line and drives up to the window without ordering at the speaker and proceeds to conversate with the person taking the orders. It was obvious she knew him since she was hanging out the window and laughing with him and his passenger. She seen him drive in front of me. He then placed his order with her. It is extremely disrespectful to allow you friends to cut paying customers in line and expect me to just wait. I was not going to now wait for his food to be done so I drove off leaving my order. What can I say about Burger Town.. I been going to this place for 12+years. If anyone said "Hey I'm going to Burger town,?what do you want??" I would say hellz yes, get me a bacon cheeseburger combo!!! Burgers never had a issue!! Always perfect.. Fries um.. uh, hit or miss. When they are fresh and made right I LOVE THEM!! But when they are over cooked and old ugh, they get thrown away. There was a good run where I didn't have to check, and today I should have checked. Over cooked n old, and they where not even that busy. There chili cheese fries are ok, they run on the spicy side. Their Pastrami are ok when made fresh & fresh bread. Today.. not so hot, the bread was old and hard. For $14.00 per sandwich you would think it would be better. For that price it should be better. I will come back, but I have to check my orders once again, and for the prices now I shouldn't have to. Do I recommend this place, Yes but with caution. read more

Went here for the first time the other day and i had ordered a number of items. The cashier was very nice and patient and took her time going over each item with me. She even gave me a recommendation for my toddlers as well. My nachos were a huge portion size and my husband who knows his pastrami sandwiches liked his from Burger town. This place is hands down my favorite burger joint. I went to this location about two years ago and with the previous owners it was ok. Now with the new owners this place is awesome.
