Wet carne asada burritos

My go to Mexican burritos Very delicious And we usually get menudo Don't believe the old review Price is very affordable

The place at the end of the street where my friends live has a name and it is Brito's! We can walk here from the neighborhood and that's just what we did as this little shack is the closest thing around and after you've had a few drinks you really don't want to venture too far so Brito's it is. They have a pretty standard menu of Mexican goodies of these I was warned by my friend who goes here all the time not to order the chicken as it's just like the end pieces of gristle and just not good at all! So with that warning in my head I went for an asada burrito that I made wet with the red sauce for all the right reasons as it added a kick to a very average burrito the burrito itself had a good amount of everything you could want in it to create that kinda balance you seek when you want a burrito that has everything. The red sauce over the top was tasty and about on par with the burrito to make what was good for the night definitely something I'd consider getting again . Overall I'm sure we will come back here as it's just close not to pricy and it's Mexican food so you really can't go wrong even more so with the short walk to get here enjoy!

It's been over a year since I last visited. They definitely made some improvements with their food. I got the shrimp taco, couple of asada tacos and a asada burrito with all meat. The shrimp taco was pretty tasty with grilled shrimp, peppers and cheese. Asada burrito and tacos were pretty good as well. It's a pretty legit taco shop with reasonable prices. I'll be back again.

Carne Asada Fries Nacho

Ok, where do I start? Never knew this place existed. the building is tiny and if not for the signs, I would have missed. There's a saying "the more dangerous/ghetto the area, the better the tacos". We have the menudo, the chicken taquitos, and the carne asada fries. Food was delicious to the point I totally forgot to take photos. 2 things I didn't like though. If you order anything with meat, they still add a 50¢ charge for meat. Second, the carne asada fries were made with nacho cheese instead of the 3 blend shredded cheese. Taste great but not what I expected so it threw me off at first. But I still delicious. Hope this helps you in your munchies run!

Pozole

I asked for a pozole with no carne and they gave it to me with a lot of carne and the Uber driver delivered it to the wrong address.

Weird sense of smell

I always get pozole from this place today i got this weird sense of smell coming from the food and the meat feels hard it smells like if its going rotten.

He kept our drinks refilled, and we never ran out of chips and salsa--if anything, we may have had a little too much! The entire experience was awesome. Our group tried a little bit of everything, and everything was delicious. The corn appetizer was perfect, and the fried pork skins were so fresh and tasty. The tacos, filet mignon, and fish were all beyond delicious! And don't even think about skipping dessert! The churro dessert was unique and different, but if you have even a little room left, you MUST try it. You'll thank me later! Overall, we had a fantastic experience, the food was incredible, and the service was excellent. We would definitely come back! Highly recommend!

However today I have NEVER had such terrible service in all my years. I put down my name and waited to be called. No issue there. My gf and I were sat, and we immediately ordered because we knew what we wanted which was pozole. The tray of tostadas and veggies came out within the first 5 minutes. So we thought "Oh it should be coming out soon" boy was I wrong. The first red flag should have been the people that were sat after us getting their food first. The second red flag was tables before us barely getting their food 15-20 minutes after we sat down. Was the food brought all together? Nope. It was brought one by one. I watched each persons face filled with disappointment when they see food coming out and its not theirs. I was one of them. It wasn't until about 30-35 minutes where I said enough was enough. There was a younger waitress I flagged down and told her I just wanted to pay for my agua de pina and wanted to leave. She apologized and asked what we ordered and we told her pozole. She said the agua would be free and pozole would come right out. So I agreed to stay. AND THAT'S WHERE I FUCKED UP (excuse my language). Because at this point I'm already seeing red and I'm LIVID. The pozole finally comes out and surprise surprise..... it's cold. Not only did we wait for about 40-45 minutes at this point but the food is cold. I decided to say fuck it, the food is here I'm just going to eat. So we did. When we finish and decide to pay our same waitress that seated us, took one look at the table and said ok Two pozoles and an agua de pina. My gf looks at her and says the agua was on the house. The other waitress gifted it to us because we have been waiting for more than 30 minutes, and our waitress is an older woman named Miriam. Started to correct and try to argue with my gf about how she didn't know which waitress gifted us the agua. At this point I just start laughing. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in any restaurant. If you skip the rest and just read the ending, please read this part. Go somewhere else and support a different local business. This place is completely unprofessional and will disrespect you and your time.

We were drawn in by the liveliness of the restaurant; they had Mexican music playing, people dancing, enthusiastic servers and hostesses ,and an inviting tone to the whole place. We were warmly greeted by Valerie who sat us outside so our kids could run around in the surrounding area right outside the restaurant (very convenient for restless kiddos to be able to play a bit). Our waiter promptly came and got us our drinks and food order and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered chicken fajitas, the carne asada plate, and a house margarita that were all spot on. The chips and salsa to begin with were salty, perfectly fried, and crispy. The salsas were very good but definitely had a bite, so watch out! The fajitas were sizzling and spectacular; the portion was huge and the spices and flavors were perfect. The carne asada plate was another giant thing of beauty. All four of us had very happy and full stomachs. Along with the great food and ambiance, the service and friendliness of everyone at Casa De Pancho stood out tremendously. Hugo came to our table and was wonderful with our children; he was so attentive and made us and our kids feel seen and special. We left feeling full but ready to go back soon. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

Will definitely stop there again when in the area.

It wasn't that the tacos were "bad" it's just they were so lacking in flavor as to be non-existent. Like, if I already had some flavor in my mouth the taco would have sucked that out as well just to ensure that everything was completely devoid of flavor. Even the chips weren't salted. Are you mad at me? Service is really good and drinks are solid and the space is cute. Why 5 stars? Because the rating system is stupid but this place needs to get someone in the kitchen that is going to actually taste the food they're sending out.

Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!
