This is the only taco spot I can come Monday- Sunday and the food is always good. They are open later than most places and it's the only spot my girlfriend approves of lol. My favorite hole in the wall taco joint! I've been coming here for 15+ years & I have never ever been disappointed. I usually get the chicken tacos w/ everything. I like to add lime and a dash of salt (for preference, tacos are seasoned just fine) to my tacos, sometimes I will add the onions they have at the salsa bar. I also get tacos dorados (chicken) so good! Perfect crunch and super tasty! I typically get their pazole in the winter. I substitute the pork with chicken. The pazole is excellent! The grilled jalapeños are the cherry on top when they make them! My man gets the asada tacos w/ everything and or the asada fries and or the quesadilla. Man oh man taco boy only if I knew sooner. Went to both locations a few times this one more recently both on taco tuesdays. The other location is waaaaay out the way and even this one is kind of far too. First of all the service is soooooooo friendly. The lady that takes my order is so nice. ALSO I dont get who complains about not gettin sauce jus pay for it....? Seems like usually its a 2 to 3 taco to 1 sauce ratio but with inflated times even sauces can be taxed for just pay. If the dollar tree is a buck fifty tree then u know shit got real. Also im so used to paying for sauce at king taco. Secondly the food... guys guys guys its called TACO boy. Lol jk yall. The tacos Its amazing for its price and quality. I loooove al pastor but here its a little different which isn't bad I still enjoy it, its seasoned nicely but not what im used to. Like most good taco places it's kind of a hole in the wall, so if you aren't looking for it you might not spot it. I ordered a chorizo taco and two chicken tacos, plus chips and salsa and horchata. The horchata was perfect. The chorizo taco was super flavorful, I would order it again in a heartbeat! The chicken tacos were good as well. Flavorful, melt in your mouth goodness. This review is for the bad customer service. I drove out to this place after work for a quick bite, can't go wrong with burritos and tacos for a late night meal. This place claims to be open until midnight but when I got there at 11:20 they were already closed. As I pulled up I noticed the "open" sign was already off and as soon as the employee inside saw me drive up he ran to turn the lights off inside the place. Which I thought was super rude. Not only did I drive all the way out to you because YOU CLAIM TO STAY OPEN TILLL MIDNIGHT but you're going to turn the lights off as soon as you see me too!? If my business isn't wanted here I'll be glad to take it somewhere else, if Orange County lacks anything it's definitely not Mexican food shops.
