In the area as I took my son to adventure city and we were Nintendo for some tacos after we left. After a quick yelp search, we found Suazo's locate nearby and after reading the good reviews, we decided to stop by and check it out. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating. We easily found the place and parked. When we entered, the place wasn't very busy. We were quickly able to place our order and sat down. A tray of salsa or brought out. Our food took about 10 to 15 minutes to come out. The tacos were probably the best tacos I've had in a while. Tender and flavorful and a generous amount of guacamole. My son's quesadilla was definitely bigger than I expected it to be for a kids entree and my son enjoyed the couple of bites he ate! Horchata was good and not super sweet. I tried their keto taco with carne asada. The "tortilla" was made with melted cheese. Carne asada had a nice smoky taste. It's topped with onion, cilantro, guac and mild salsa on the side. Good bite. Suazo's is easily one of the best taco spots around. Our second time back in one week! The meat is incredibly tender with that amazing smoked flavor that hits you right away. Their hot sauces are all fire. Each one brings a unique kick, and when you mix them in the same taco, the flavors layer perfectly without overpowering each other. The whole place has a welcoming, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay and keep eating. You can tell they put care into every detail. Food was very delicious, but unfortunately, it is very expensive. I ordered a taco price is 4.95 . I asked them for ribeye meat and they tacked on five dollars more for the upgrade so technically it ended up being more like a $10 taco definitely not worth $10. Our order was six tacos two drinks $66 will not be coming back. read more

They have quite a few options to try from. I always start with tacos. This place did not disappoint with the TJ style tacos! The handmade tortillas taste just the ones in Mexico. Trying to find my go to taco place around my area now and came across this place. TJ style tacos have home made tortillas. I like that the regular street tacos use 1 single tortilla. Meat has nice smoky char flavor and they had grill smoker outside so obvious they grill their meats. Place was empty when I came in but nice clean looking place to eat at, I took order to go. Their salsa containers are really small but also their taco sizes are kinda small. Overall I'm def coming back here, really enjoyed the TJ style tacos. Will be trying other items on menu next time. read more

Mushroom taco was a mild flavor and maybe thicker slices , it could pop a little more with flavor for me. The Asada taco was good. Nice flavor. The Adobada taco was the most flavorful of the 3. I have finally found OUR taco spot! This place is known for their Tijuana style tacos. I saw the guac and freshly made corn tortilla so I definitely had to give it a try. Location - On Beach Blvd in the same plaza as Jinsol Gukbap. Ambiance - Well kept with minimal decor. They serve a good amount salsas, lime, etc with every order. Food - We tried the mushroom, tripa and carne asada tacos in Tijuana style, quesa birria taco and carne asada tacos. We enjoyed them all! Only comment is on the tripa. Felt like it would taste so much better if the outer layer had a crunch to it. Food is made to order so it's absolutely fresh. The meat was surprisingly tender - not dry at all considering the meat was finely diced. Had 5 tacos, TJ style the rest street tacos. The price point on the TJ taco is too high for the amount of meat that's put in it. As well as the street tacos there needs to have more meat in them. The taste is good but none of the meats were grilled on fire like advertised. I tried 4 different meats but not the rib eye since I didn't see the grill outside being on. The manager was real cool and helpful but not sure if I will be back due to the price I paid and the value I received. The owner should take a trip to Los Cholos and see the difference in value and methods of cooking. read more

I recently discovered Suavos when looking for tacos nearby, and I can happily say this place was a WIN. The staff here was very friendly and greeted us immediately upon walking in and answered all of our questions, made suggestions, and went over all the options. I had looked over the menu ahead of time and already knew that I had my mind made up on Carne asada Tijuana style tacos. They offer street tacos, Tijuana style tacos, vampiros, and much more. I opted for the Tijuana style taco plate consisting of 3 tacos, Mexican style rice and pinto beans and the servers brought out an array of different salsas, as well as radishes, limes and peppers as accompaniments. The tacos are presented rolled in a wrapper and were stuffed with meat as well as cilantro, onions, and more. The flavor on the Carne asada for me was great, and I enjoyed every bite. My wife also gave me a piece of the chicken from one of her tacos, and it too was loaded with flavor, so I may mix and match the next time I am in. The pricing was quite affordable, and you can get a few aqua Fresca with Yelp check-in (something I forgot to do and paid for mine before seeing the deal). The strawberry lemonade we had was large and very refreshing, and I highly recommend it as well. This was a great find, and I hope to return again real soon as I can never have enough great options for tacos, and this one sits near the top of my list. read more

It's a low key place and the Tijuana style tacos are worth every minute of the drive from me. I came for a lunch break and I came back to work with a big pot belly from all the food I ate. Came here twice. The first time, they sold out of a few things I wanted to try. I did the tripas extra crispy, asada and abadoda. The tripas was so good. The tortillas were fresh but it is priced high. I came on taco Tuesday to save money and it still came up a lot. The person taking my order didn't speak English so it was a little difficult but it was doable. I wasn't impressed second time around. The most memorable thing second time was the tortillas. Came here 07/09/2023. Food: Bomb tacos. Note that they have two kinds. Regular street tacos and tijuana tacos. I think the difference is that the TJ tacos comes with some guac salsa. I recommend the asada. Service: Friendly dude and also love that they have a free agua fresca for Yelp check in. Ambiance: Super casual, no frills place. This place is off Beach blvd and it's small but don't let that fool you. These tacos hit the spot! I went with Asada cause it's my favorite but when you have tacos Tijuana style it's even better. Asada flavor was delicious and when I add the guacamole the hit it with some salsa it just all blends together so well. If you're ever in the area stop by and try this place out! read more

We asked for no onion on the tacos and burrito but Angel's Tijuana taco mixes the cilantro and onion - no onion means no cilantro (I honestly do not understand why restaurants do this). The tacos were really soggy (my husband claims that it was the salsa that the cooks added but I didn't taste any salsa) which resulted in the tortilla falling apart. The burrito was unfortunately pretty similar. The burrito also comes with non-refried beans, which also messed with the texture a bit. The Mexican rice was not very good. The vampire was the best thing we tried but the tortilla was not at all toasted. The cheese they used was good and as mentioned earlier, the quality of the asada is really tasty and delicious - I still wish the tortilla was crispy. I did like that there was a salsa bar but in my opinion, none were really spicy; the bar also had radishes, cucumber, roasted onion, lemon, and roasted peppers. Overall, it was okay but as mentioned before, I would not return.

It's not common you get options beyond this - I think they are very fast given the type of restaurant they are, and you are never going to feel "why is this taking so long" - Get their drinks! The workers are very patient even with big groups coming in on Tuesdays so I appreciate them! Highly recommend :)

Service is the same, they're pretty quick at getting your food prepped. Now I said that their carne asada has always been reliable, but my last two times I've ordered a carne asada burrito (sour cream and cheese only) or a CA burrito, IYKYK, their meat has tasted different. It taste like it's some carne asada and then like some other mystery meat, sometimes liver... Either way I stop eating it when I have tasted it being weird. Maybe it's the other meats they serve that get mixed in. I don't dig that. So for that I would rate them down to a 3 star. I'm rating their 3 rolled tacos as 4 stars! It's the best around. It has the crunch and enough meat inside. It's not all tortilla like some places. We always order it with sour cream and cheese only, with carrots on the side. I've tried adeltacos down the street and it doesn't compare. Get it here.

Last year May 2025, we drove and did takeout for our brothers birthday. We ordered 2 carne asada fries, and they only gave us 1 (our order was big). Yesterday, May 17,2026, I drove out here again for my brother's birthday request to do takeout for our entire family. Ordered 2 orders of their rolled tacos, finally got home to see that we only received 1 order of the rolled tacos, not 2 (we also ordered more things). Yes, you'd obviously like for everything that you paid for to be handed to you, but a lesson learned to check your bags!!! If something is missing, kindly let them know and receive everything you paid for. Not the end of the world, we love this place as this is one of our childhood comfort foods/go-to places.. we moved away and miss this place all the time, and to make our birthdays feel like home/childhood, we drive out here to show our loved one some extra love with Albertaco's BOMB food, but yeah, it's a bummer when you're missing things that you paid for & is shown on the receipt (will post receipt photo shortly).

The Food: Sub-Par and Speed-Warmed Nothing on the plate had any FLAVOR, and the temperature of the food was warm at best. The Rice & Beans: The beans were warm/cold and entirely unseasoned. Shockingly, the rice was plain, white, and completely flavorless. White rice at a Mexican restaurant? Seriously? Chilaquiles: These were entirely ruined, hidden under a slab of meat and a strange, bright yellow egg substance. Scrambled Eggs: They had a terrible, distinct taste of powdered origin. Chile Relleno: This was obviously prepared way in advance and just reheated, as the inside was still completely cold. Fish Taco: This was delivered on a flat, no flavor, and cold tortilla. Pico de Gallo: It was completely mushy, which is a strong indication that they are using canned, cubed tomatoes instead of fresh ones. Gaslit by Staff When I confronted the staff about the complete lack of flavor, I was dismissed and told that their "customers rave about it." They are clearly out of touch. Do not let the social media photos fool you. Seriously disappointed and mislead by social media. Sub Par! This food is completely bland, poorly prepared, and a total waste of money. NO BUENO!
