In the area as I took my son to adventure city and we were Nintendo for some tacos after we left. After a quick yelp search, we found Suazo's locate nearby and after reading the good reviews, we decided to stop by and check it out. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating. We easily found the place and parked. When we entered, the place wasn't very busy. We were quickly able to place our order and sat down. A tray of salsa or brought out. Our food took about 10 to 15 minutes to come out. The tacos were probably the best tacos I've had in a while. Tender and flavorful and a generous amount of guacamole. My son's quesadilla was definitely bigger than I expected it to be for a kids entree and my son enjoyed the couple of bites he ate! Horchata was good and not super sweet. I ordered the street tacos and tj tacos both came stack with meat. The meat was extremely flavorable and enhanced with really good tortilla. Most taco joints you get full from the cheap tortilla but not here. It's truly a good sidekick to the delicious meat. Small place but big flavors. I asked them for ribeye meat and they tacked on five dollars more for the upgrade so technically it ended up being more like a $10 taco definitely not worth $10. I have finally found OUR taco spot! This place is known for their Tijuana style tacos. I saw the guac and freshly made corn tortilla so I definitely had to give it a try. Location - On Beach Blvd in the same plaza as Jinsol Gukbap. Ambiance - Well kept with minimal decor. They serve a good amount salsas, lime, etc with every order. Food - We tried the mushroom, tripa and carne asada tacos in Tijuana style, quesa birria taco and carne asada tacos. We enjoyed them all! Only comment is on the tripa. Felt like it would taste so much better if the outer layer had a crunch to it. Food is made to order so it's absolutely fresh. The meat was surprisingly tender - not dry at all considering the meat was finely diced. Trying to find my go to taco place around my area now and came across this place. TJ style tacos have home made tortillas. I like that the regular street tacos use 1 single tortilla. Meat has nice smoky char flavor and they had grill smoker outside so obvious they grill their meats. Place was empty when I came in but nice clean looking place to eat at, I took order to go. Their salsa containers are really small but also their taco sizes are kinda small. Overall I'm def coming back here, really enjoyed the TJ style tacos. I recently discovered Suavos when looking for tacos nearby, and I can happily say this place was a WIN. The staff here was very friendly and greeted us immediately upon walking in and answered all of our questions, made suggestions, and went over all the options. I had looked over the menu ahead of time and already knew that I had my mind made up on Carne asada Tijuana style tacos. They offer street tacos, Tijuana style tacos, vampiros, and much more. I opted for the Tijuana style taco plate consisting of 3 tacos, Mexican style rice and pinto beans and the servers brought out an array of different salsas, as well as radishes, limes and peppers as accompaniments. The tacos are presented rolled in a wrapper and were stuffed with meat as well as cilantro, onions, and more. The flavor on the Carne asada for me was great, and I enjoyed every bite. My wife also gave me a piece of the chicken from one of her tacos, and it too was loaded with flavor, so I may mix and match the next time I am in. The pricing was quite affordable, and you can get a few aqua Fresca with Yelp check-in (something I forgot to do and paid for mine before seeing the deal). The strawberry lemonade we had was large and very refreshing, and I highly recommend it as well. Mushroom taco was a mild flavor and maybe thicker slices , it could pop a little more with flavor for me. The Asada taco was good. Nice flavor. The Adobada taco was the most flavorful of the 3. Had 5 tacos, TJ style the rest street tacos. The price point on the TJ taco is too high for the amount of meat that's put in it. As well as the street tacos there needs to have more meat in them. The taste is good but none of the meats were grilled on fire like advertised. I tried 4 different meats but not the rib eye since I didn't see the grill outside being on. The manager was real cool and helpful but not sure if I will be back due to the price I paid and the value I received.
