This was my first time here. Went late last night (3/18) to get my gf a carne asada burrito. I asked for no rice as my gf doesnt like rice in general. Total came to 17$ if paid with cash but they charge a 1$ service fee +tax with debit. She assumed i would pay with card but pulled out a 20 and still charged me the fee. She even said "oh you have cash" with a sign that says "extra fee when paying with debit/credit" **The burrito was normal sized with overly seasoned and salty carne asada.The shredded white cheese they used was the worst part. ** Dont recommend this place. I kid you not. This might be the best Mexican food I have ever had. The staff were all kind. I speak limited Spanish, and they were patient with me. I didn't have breakfast, so I got a Carnitas burrito and 2 al pastor tacos. The Al Pastor tacos were legitimately some of the best street tacos I have had. The meat was flavorful and crispy. The Carnitas was similarly some of the best Carnitas I have had. It was incredibly tender and favorable, with a good mix of grilled onions, rice, and beans. Highly recommend! read more

Just walked in after the gym to check it out and OMG the Al pastor is so good!!! That's always my go-to but it is incredibly flavorful here. The Asada was also delicious, I couldn't figure out which I loved more. The server was also super welcoming and nice. Recommended that those were his favorites. Will definitely come back! read more

This place is my to go spot whenever I want good authentic Mexican food. The service and people are great. The restaurant is always clean. I drive all the way from Lancaster it's about a 2 to 3 hr drive and it never disappoints. I love coming here for tacos burritos and tortas and anything I've gotten is always well proportioned. My favorite is the tacos Al pasto! They're so flavorful and have just the right seasoning to them. The spot is located in a busy parking lot next to the Big Crunch gym. Even though the restaurant is small itself, the tacos are filled with flavor and that green salsa is very good too! I love coming here after a workout and getting those gains in for bulking season lol. Interior is very warm and has that Mexican feeling to it. You know it's owned by authentic Mexicans. Finally tried this little family owned Mexican restaurant in a local shopping center by our house. Wish we would have tried it sooner...we've had the street tacos & carne asada Torta and they were all so yummy!! Everything is so fresh & authentic. Such a cute spot. I got a Mamey and banana smoothie and it was so delicious!! Great size and tasted so refreshing. Perfect for a post workout meal after the gym next door. Hard to resist the smell of tacos when walking out of the gym and they are cooking outside! Street tacos are $1.50 each for the basic meats (Carne asada, pollo, al pastor, etc.) and $2.00 each for the more premium meats (Lengua, skirt steak, etc.) After getting your tacos you can add on cilantro, onions, radishes, and lime. Not to mention they have about 4 different sauces (They are spicy! But in a good wat). I tried the carne asada and the al pastor and they tasted great! Overall great place to grab some tacos right when you get out of the gym. It is on the pricier end, I typically get 5 tacos when I go to taquerias, which will run you about $8-10 here. read more

This review is strictly for their street tacos! This restaurant has a grill right outside their place on Fridays-Sundays, usually from 4-10. Luckily (or unfortunately) for me, they're also located right next to my gym (Crunch Fitness). When I say they're next to the gym, I literally mean that they're the business immediately to the side of the gym. It's become a routine for me and my boyfriend to go to crunch and then to stop for tacos once during the weekend! They're cash only and the tacos are about $1.50-2.00. They have a bunch of different types of meat and a salsa bar so you can top your own tacos. Every meat option I've tried has been great! I also loooovee their habanero onion topping and their salsas. They have taco stand outside on the weekend. The salsa is amazing. Tripa is crispy and clean. Lengua is nice and not gamey. Al pastor is good. Carnitas is on the oily side, but still good. I love the "Suadero" tacos with fresh homemade tortillas! They are the best. Those tacos are prepared in Mexico City / DF. They taste original ti me. I've had them in Mexico City when I visit and they are pretty close here. A must try! They also have the street tacos but they are tiny. (As they should be) The "Jericalla" dessert! I don't know who they buy it from but it's pretty delicious & authentic to the one in my Jalisco Mexico. I know friends that have ordered the Sopes, tostadas and other meats. It was a sweltering summer day, I had just finished pouring a ton of concrete. With sweat in my eyes, concrete in my lungs, exhausted, hungry, and beaten down, I searched for sustenance; "El Chilango" revealed itself to me as an oasis in an unforgiving desert. I ventured in. It's small, but cozy, with a simple to read menu. We asked "what's good here?" The cook Hector replies, "everything." Such confidence and pride, I was hesitant at first. Little did I know the journey I was about to embark on, due to his culinary skills. I requested a carne asada burrito and al pastor taco. Everything was created from scratch, it took 10 minutes to receive our food, and after taking my first bite, I would have waited a lifetime. As I unwrapped the al pastor taco, I noticed perfectly sliced pork pieces, with a touch of crisp on all sides. The onions, flawlessly caramelized, as if I was staring into a citrine gemstone in the moonlight. I took my first bite. Breath taking. As if I was a child first discovering sight and sound. I had to catch my breath as I felt like my soul was ascending to a higher plane. The salt, onions, cilantro, pork, all perfectly balanced as is the universe. I paid $2 for this experience. I would have paid $200. Once my soul returned to my being, I unwrapped my burrito, scared, but excited to delve into the main course. I took my first bite with no sauce. Immaculate. A burrito that needed no sauce, could it be? A work of art lay before me. The meat, rice, beans, onions, and cilantro, pristinely layered with such delicacy. I added their house made green salsa, and with my next bite, I was hurled into a chaotic electrifying revelation; I had discovered my new favorite burrito and taco home. Was I at a 3 Star Michelin restaurant? For only $13 in total? If there is a god out there, they were smiling down upon me this day. Unfortunately I live far from this area, but perhaps one day, I shall be granted the opportunity to relive pure unadulterated joy, once more. Exceptional place for authentic Mexican food. Our server was on point explaining all the specials and what were their hot items and very prompt and respectful. The place was overall nice and clean, loved the paintings and the colors we actually had a nice conversation without any loud music that overpowered the place.
