Color me surprised!! This place is great. Very affordable food. They make it super fast! Seriously, we ordered and food was ready within 15 minutes. The food was fresh and hot! Ambiance was casual/ laidback, order at the counter and sit down. They give you a number and bring your food to your table. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, cheese nachos and a side a guacamole. A friend and I thought we'd try a new place for a burger, so we stopped by Nick's Super Burgers. They have a good sized private parking lot. The dining area was surprisingly larger than I expected, and the restaurant was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. Their menu has a wide variety of items including breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, dinner entrees, and Mexican favorites. I had the California Burger (includes avocado, bacon, and swiss cheese) and a medium size order of zucchini. The overall burger size was on the larger side and it was definitely filling. Although the beef patty was on the thin side, it was flavorful and had a nice grill char on it. The bacon slices were fresh, and there was a good amount of avocado. Overall, it was a pretty good burger. On the menu, the zucchini is listed as "homemade" so I would assume they are fresh cut veggies and not frozen out of a bag. The slices were a good medium size with a breading thickness that was just right. They were not oily or greasy at all. All of the employees were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces which is always nice to see. This was a good and filling meal for under $15. I would definitely stop by again for another burger or to try some other items on their menu. read more

Nick's continues to be a family favorite. We grab take out from here weekly, and dine in about once a month. Everything is spectacular, but I especially loved the fajitas, the breakfasts, sandwiches, and burgers. The salads are also my fave, as I eat a salad for dinner from here once a week. I love the chicken salad. I add pickles and red onions to it. The hot dogs are also really good. The fajitas rival any you'd get from an expensive restaurant. They are that good! The service at Nick's is ALWAYS great. Everyone there really look like they enjoy their job and serving their customers. They are always smiling, and so helpful. The place is always clean as well. They take pride in their restaurant. That's the cherry on top of their delicious and affordable food. Today I ordered the chicken strips dinner. It comes with the option of soup or salad, fries or rice & beans, dinner roll or tortillas, and ranch or BBQ sauce. I opted for the soup (today's soup was vegetable beef), French fries, the dinner roll, and ranch & bbq. I also ordered a fresh banana milkshake, so gross syrups involved, just banana, milk, and ice cream...I decided not to partake in the whipped cream on top today. Everything was perfectly made and very fresh. The chicken dinner portions are a lot, definitely enough to share or take home for air fryer seconds, which is what I opted for. Been several years since being there but great menu and food for an independent establishment.

We've been eating take-out from Nick's since my daughter moved to Fullerton in 2012. The quality and value have not changed one iota. It is a reasonably priced, excellent quality comfort-food restaurant. The fries are outstanding and the chili cheese fries are killer. My personal favorite are their chicken-fingers which are juicy, tender and in great quantity. Thick, juicy burgers. Club sandwich and the taco salad each could feed a small family. Service is friendly and business-like. We order for 7 people NEVER messed-up an order. These people know what they are doing!! Just writing this is making me hungry. Food was excellent. Breakfast was good for the price . Chorizo and eggs were amazing. The price was fair for the amount of food . There always have specials for hamburgers and sandwiches. The servers were attentive and we're good to all the customers, including myself. Their server is also made sure that we got everything we needed for the order and everybody else's order around me. The place was nice and clean. Could use some updates but overall nice. They used to have two locations one off of Brookhurst and Orange that one closed down. Nick is a combination burger joint/taco joint and it kind of an icon in the neighborhood. Staff is super friendly and they will do substitutions to make you happy. Their fries are the best in town when they are ordered extra crispy. Seriously order the fries extra crispy. They're baking a thick cut, and they don't scrimp on the beef. Then enchiladas are yummy and when tamale season comes around, their tamales are also great. Someone on the management staff is a beekeeper and in the fall, they will sell jars of honey at the counter. It is honey and very good. It's a big jar and cost like 15 bucks. It's worth it, buy the jar enjoy the honey. The kitchen and kitchen staff are super clean, sometimes the floors can get a little greasy, but there's a lot of traffic that goes in and out of place. The tables are always clean and this is what you want your local mom and Pop burger shack to be. read more

My son and I come here when we're in the area. Staff is alway nice and attentive, customer service is great. My son usually orders the steak dinner, great value for the price and the steak is on the thinner side but is always good. I usually get a cheeseburger combo with onion rings. The burgers are big and tasty, the onion rings are crispy and good. This will usually cost us $25-$30 which is on par with McDonald's right now so I recommend Nicks. read more

Chli Cheese Fries are nice with the grilled onions, want more. Not too bean heavy per my friend and he said he loved that that was the case. Relatively cheap compared to other options for most things on the menu. Some things are somewhat plain so don't expect it to be knocking your socks off but it's decent and solid enough that for the price, I'll keep coming and trying different things every now and then! The only problem I ever have with Nick's is trying to finish the mountain of fries they give you. Fries which are as good as you get for the thicker, diner-style cut fry: crisp, but somehow also tender; always fresh as can be; and again, more than one person can (comfortably) eat--though I always push the limit. Nick's has for years now been my hands down favorite burger, and I mean against ANY burger place, any style. People rave about the California burger, which is undoubtedly incredible, but I am a traditional burger guy by default. Just Shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, onion, and mayo on a sesame bun. Normally I'd want a 1000 island style burger sauce on my burger, but there is no need on this. Whether a single or double, everything is perfect from taste to ratios: somehow, as if magic, no matter what, every time, my last bite still has a little Bit of every ingredient. Never extra bun or no more tomato, or meat falling out. Simply perfect. Today, Nick's somehow reached an even higher level of respect from me. For the first time I tried a Gyro. One of my favorite foods that nearly always disappoints. I've tried them all over from major chains to farmer's market pop-ups and am nearly always left chasing a dragon. Either the pita is too tough, not enough tzatziki, dry meat--there are myriad ways something so simple can miss the mark. This gyro today is all I'm ever hoping for in a gyro. Warm, soft, fresh pita. Simple, fresh ingredients: DELICIOUS meat, thinly sliced red onion, tomato, and gobs of awesome tzatziki. And, like the fries, bursting out of the pita, but somehow a perfectly proportioned and surprisingly clean consumption. This is all without mentioning the friendly, efficient, and old-school cozy staff, service, and overall vibe. Remarkably, I could go on but I don't want to keep you another minute discovering a true gem of a restaurant. The ONLY thing missing from Nick's is beer, but somehow they even make up for that. read more

Great place to get a good bite to eat. We came across this place on our hunt for food. We thought it was just a burger joint but noticed they had breakfast items as well that is served all day. We ended up ordering breakfast burritos and a California burger. Everything was soo delicious and the burritos are pretty good size. Their prices are not bad for the quality and size of the burritos. A bit confused on the other reviews stating how good their burger is. Came in today and bought their California burger and bacon cheeseburger and was disappointed. The quality of the burger isn't great, the ingredients didn't feel fresh. For starters, the most important part of a burger, the patty, was cold and honestly a fast food burger would've been better. Their fries are also very basic and everything seemed plain. Additionally, I can't justify the pricing for the quality. Their competitors around them such as Peter's Gourmade Burger has much better quality to price ratio. The service was surprising for a burger place though. When I came on 3/14, the man serving the food was energetic, lively, and attentive. The place itself is also nice. Looks like an old school diner and was kept clean.
