I've been a longtime customer of the original molca salsa (at Harbor and Imperial), and I remember when this Molcasalsitas opened years and years ago. But I only had the pleasure of trying their food in the last year or so a few times. It's the exact same menu, but different ownership. And I will say that I notice a better quality of product overall. My go-to is the super fries with chicken (pro tip, get the fries well done so that they stay crispy throughout the meal). Compared to the original location, they definitely load up the toppings more evenly and generously. Lastly, they have a HABANERO salsa that the other location doesn't have. They did mess up on my order (ham instead of sausage), but when I called them to let them know, they were very apologetic and professional--they even offered me a free burrito on my next visit since I didn't have time to go back. Easy 5 stars. A nice small humble place. Clean inside. I have been searching for super fries with no meat that puts beans, cheese, guac, and salsa (pico). Rigobertos in Placentia used to be the spot but theyre gone. All the other places either charge like $17 or they omit one of those ingredients and charge extra for it. Finally discovered Molcasalsitas and I wish I found them sooner. The lady at the counter is so sweet. They take apple pay. And the fries hit perfectly. I've been searching for a great breakfast burrito in the area since I moved here, and my search is officially over. Molcasalsitas is the spot! This family-owned hole in the wall serves up exactly what I was craving. Their breakfast burrito, which I got with sausage and bacon, was perfect, flavorful and hit the spot!! To top it off, their red and green salsa is pack full of flavor, just like I like it, a little spicy but but not over the top. We also tried the carne asada fries, and they were a fantastic surprise, reminiscent of the ones I used to get back in the day. I'm so glad I found this place. BOOOMB!! I love lil Molcasalsita I used to go to the on in La Habra until I found this one!! The food is always on point!! My GO TOS are the CARNE ASADA BURRITO or the ASADA FRIES both are always fat asf. I also love the HARD SHELL TACOS or TACOS DORADOS and the SOFT TACOS are also a very good size!! They also have MEXICAN COKES which is ALWAYS a PLUS!! It's pretty quiet inside but there's always people in and out. It's also small inside but it's go to go with friends. The service is always great the people there are friendly and very helpful!! This is DEFINITELY one of my go to spots!! read more

Outstanding Mexican cuisine. Definitely not fancy, 95% take out really, the food we took home was some of the best we've ever had. It was a dinner amongst 4 old friends and our host suggested several places nearby. We opted for this one and personally I am very glad that we did. We all got something different; beef burritos, chicken enchiladas, carne asada tacos, and I got the ham, bacon and cheese breakfast burrito; which I have to say might be the best I've ever had. I had them add fresh pico de gallo inside the burrito, and opted for their red salsa which I think is perfect. Fortunately one friend thought it a bit spicy and I got an extra container. Their red salsa was so good I used 3 containers. My burrito was perfection, the ingredients were very evenly distributed which is important to this reviewer. All the other food containers were left empty by my companions as well, a lot of compliments were had at the dinner table that night. Good Stuff! If you've not tried this little hole in the wall, give them a try. They have a pretty big menu and everything that I saw was made fresh when we ordered. The only down side is Molcasaitas is like 60 plus miles from my house. Guess I'll be visiting my friend in Fullerton a bit more often. You can take that to the bank. read more

Very nice, friendly people. Pricing is very good and also you get tasty food. They make menudo but like I mean the real kind of menudo(no hominy) I will update review with photo of menudo later. But their breakfast burrito ohhhhh maaannnnn! Once you taste them you will definitely go back every day for it! I get my breakfast burrito with egg, chorizo, bacon, ham and sometime cheese. Less food same price Ordered their 3 rolled tacos with guac today and wow has the size of these changed. They are wrapped so tight there is barely a strip of meat in them. For $7.60, totally worth when other places charge about $10. Their version does include beans but I don't mind it because it isn't overwhelming and carne asada is like everywhere, plenty for every single bite you take. What else you can fall in love here are their breakfast burritos. Have you noticed other places are charging $7 for a breakfast burrito? I am always like WTF, really? When I noticed at this joint charges about $4.50, it prompted me to get 2, one in ham and the other in sausage. What is fantastic is burritos are super long and girthy. It is packed with just eggs, cheese and choice of meat. No potatoes!! They don't skim on anything. The breakfast burrito can be easily shared between 2 people. So I hate burritos that are filled beans and rice. When I order a carne asada burrito, all I expect is the meat, cheese, guacamole and pico de galo. You know what??? Molcasalsitas has met that expectation without me asking. As you can see this place is my new favorite Mexican food spot. I drive 15 mins away just to order take out from Mocasalsitas. I only discovered this place just 5 weeks ago and I have been here almost every week. They also open late, which I totally appreciate. As I'm taking my last bite, I'm having mixed emotions about this dining spot. Don't know whether to give it a 3 or 4 star. Here it is. Menu has large selection of ur typical Mexican dishes such as combination plates, burritos, quesadillas, Tostadas and even burgers and fries. Although I was tempted to get carnce asada plate combination, I chose torta chorizo. Wifey got a bean tostada and chicken taco and bean and cheese burrito. Torta was small but good taste, chorizo and egg with lettuce and avocado. Chicken tacos were ok, did seem that chicken had been recooked. Hard tortilla was good. Nothing was overly greasy. Cheese and lettuce looked fresh. Bean burrito has a lot of refried beans and cheese wasn't melted as we expected. Tortilla was fresh. Most Mexican spots typically have an island with different styles of salsa. This spot didn't have any of that. Their bottled was not spicy, mild. Bottled were cleaned though. Spot was too quiet for my tasted. All you could hear was the kitchen workers and soccer commentator on tv. No music. Vibe was not there. A few people walked in while we were there but overall it was empty. Would I come back? I don't know but maybe it's because I respect small family owned business and want to support them. But I wouldn't come back. Food is good, just not my type of environment. Wifey would return for the tostada. read more
