Probably my go to carne asada fries. Theres not many places that sell carne asada fries in this area, and if they do they have some twist to it. Molcasalsitas keeps it simple and it tastes amazing. Ordering on the phone for pickup is how I order my food frequently, and they NEVER get it wrong. Best place to get carne asada fries in the area. read more

Is it wrong to crave breakfast burritos? I surely hope not because I am guilty. I had a bacon, eggs and cheese breakfast burrito here a few weeks ago and I have thought of that tasty delight several times since. Food: super fries ~ $8 Service: 5 stars Parking: lot Reasoning... Haven't been here in awhile and my goodness i forgot how big there portion sizes were. Like it was freakin massive and i couldn't finish... thats a first. I gave this place a three stars because their meat is overcooked and the quality of the super fries isn't as good as other places ive been to. To me, I feel like they tried to add to much to their super fries and, although it was eye appealing, it wasn't that tasty. Would i come back? Probably not. I like my other Mexican joints better. read more

The food was good, more flavor would have made it a lot lot lot better! The portions were great. The torta only had Avocado, lettuce, and meat. It was missing onions, tomatoes, and maybe a couple other toppings. Chicken quesadilla was good! But again more flavor with the chicken. Taco was good too! Little hole in the wall place with very tasty tacos - pretty good sized (Not little street tacos) at 2.70 a pop. The fish tacos were great - fried fish with a great sauce. The carne asada was frankly a little dry, but the taco as a whole, with the onions, guac, etc was good. Ask for salsa - they keep chilled squeeze bottles behind the counter - the red was excellent! read more

Pretty good local Mexican restaurant. I would compare this to a typical mocha salsa location. The food is a little Americanized but none the less you do get your bang for your buck. The portions are large and the food is not greasy and seasoned pretty well which which makes for a pretty good meal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to grab a quick lunch. This place is great, been coming here for a few years now and I think they deserve some recognition for their great food and hard work. All the breakfast burritos are amazing, full of flavor and priced right. Other breakfast plates taste authentic and are made fresh. Never a long wait, never cold. Food is quick hot and delicious. We came here looking for some delicious super nachos and we found them! Carne asada nachos were amazing. We also ordered 2 tacos, one carne asada and another adobado (al pastor), which were huge, and they were bomb! Get away from the crowds Sometimes partying late at night you don't want to go to Taqueria DeAnda and wait in line while your drunk. This place is rarely packed and the foods decent and gets the job done for late nigh craving and some carne asana fries. The place is not super official but it sure gets the job done with no crowds. read more

Came here after an Angels game. Although it was way out of the way from home i stopped by out of curiousity. I wasnt dissappointed. I like the carne asada fries with skinny fries and when i saw a photo posted, i knew i had to make the trip. It was priced cheaper than a lot of the other franchises but tastes a hellova lot better. read more

Honestly the only things I like to eat from here are wet burritos, taquitos, al pastor Tacos which are humongous and their adobada nachos they're freaking amazing!!! They also stay open pretty late compared to other Mexican spots which is a plus. read more

Came here for the first time last week. By far, one of the best super fries in town. Staff are very friendly & food comes out really fast. Dining area is really clean too. Usually also have sports on the TV as well. Will come back in the near future. read more

Came here for the 1st time and had their super fries and two carne asada tacos. The super fries are great and the two tacos were larger than I expected (which is a good). Prices are very reasonable. Definitely got away from crowds of people being there (I walked in and was the only person This is a very small restaurant and it seems to be in an awkward area, I drive along this path almost every day for work and see many homeless people roaming around this area sometimes (across the street, at bus stop, outside the seven-eleven next door, and there is a lot of them at times in the morning and kind of late at night.) I live right down the street but decided to drive by a few times to get something else to eat because of this, not the restaurants fault though. This is a very good restaurant and if you are thinking about trying it then you won't regret it. Im a fan. read more

Their breakfast burritos area pretty good. I have tried the bacon, egg, and cheese and also their sausage, egg, and cheese burrito. They were both hardy and good. Also, MUST get their 3 rolled tacos with Guacamole and cheese! It is delicious! The place is tiny so not good for a big group. There appears to be plenty of parking the times I have visited. They are not the best Mexican food joint, but I wouldn't mind coming back again for their sausage burrito and since they are so close to where I live. read more

My wife and I started coming here about a year ago since it's the only place nearby that offers carne asada fries. We had a bad experience at this other place we used to go and didn't want to drive more than a few minutes to satisfy our weekend cravings. Molcasalsitas is conveniently located nearby so we gave it a shot and now it's become our regular place to get Mexican food. It's not fancy but it's good. read more

My friend and I (because I hardly ever eat alone) dropped in for a quick breakfast burrito and WOWZAS this place is good! Ordered an egg/sausage/something burrito, impressed me with the hint of spice, and the quickness with which they served us. I also noticed that their horchata is super cheap. Not sure how it tastes but I'll probably be back to buy some horchata because the Asian in me doesn't know where else to begin. And now I'm hungry..... read more

Driving around town after downtown Fullerton. Molca Salsitas hits the spot and after hours need. It's like your one stop shop to cure a drunken night or a hangover. It's 24 hours and cheap - that's what he said LOL. But Anyway, this is a great hole in the wall pit stop. Very Clean and Very Yummy. read more

The burritos are pretty big and tasty. They have a lot of drink options. I wouldn't recommend getting the nachos however. It's basically just chips and onions. Very bland and over priced. They're open late so that's good. The service is whatevers. Overall this place is just ok. read more

We arrived to downtown Fullerton and were happy to find a spot right away in the parking structure, which is also right across from Lagos. Parking is $5/flat rate but nearby street parking is free. The outside of Lagos is beautiful. The restaurant is pretty huge. I was surprised to find the restaurant pretty empty for a Saturday night. Most of the customers were seated at the bar area, possibly to watch the game. In my opinion, maybe people edit the photos on Yelp but the online pics definitely look better than how the restaurant really looks in person. There's definitely some good and bad areas of my dining experience. Positive: Server was really nice and kept checking on us often. He was friendly, made small talks and gave us complementary chips. Our food and drinks came quickly. Most impressive was the glass sliding door of the kitchen. NegativeS: Oh My! Our server checked in on us at least 8, 9 or even over 10 times, even while my friend and I were in the middle of having a conversation. He kept asking us if we were ready to order drinks and food and desserts and ultimately offered to clear our table and dropped off a check even without being asked. If you read some of the reviews (yes, check the filtered, hidden, not recommended ones as well), others have commented on how the servers would upsell on more expensive items. This happened to me as well. Example: My friend asked the server if their flights were good. The server quickly recommended the $40 whiskey flights. I asked if they still had their Pesto pasta, he brought up the seafood pasta. Honestly, $40 for a whiskey flights and $34 for seafood pasta is inexpensive, but I just feel he would make recommendations just on the more expensive options. The worse part? I ordered their Merlot. There was only a single option on the menu for Merlot, Josh Cellar - $15.00/glass. I ended up ordering 2 glasses. When the bill came, I was charged for 2 glasses of Napa Cellars Merlot for $20/glass. This was the first time I had visited ANY restaurant or bar where they make their own decisions to change my wine order prior to checking with me first. $10 difference is not a huge deal and I would've happily agreed with the switch had they brought it up to me, but that was not the case. The waiter probably thought I wouldn't catch that, but I only failed to bring it up because that incident just made me not want to be a repeat customer. They can keep that $10. Food quality was okay. Food presentation was good. I feel Lagos tries hard to be a high end restaurant but they are lacking in too many areas.

Whether I'm craving a hearty bowl of menudo to kickstart the morning, indulgent carne asada fries to share (or not), or some crispy taquitos for a quick bite, this spot never misses. The flavors are consistently on point. They're not flashy, but that's the beauty of it--Molcasalsita's thrives on reliable, comforting dishes that keep you coming back. Their carne asada tacos deserve a special mention: huge and packed with flavor. Trust me, one or two will do the trick (but good luck stopping at just one). We dined there with another couple on a weeknight. The service from valet parking to hostess to the waiter and bus-boy was smooooth! Very nicely done. The warm bread wrapped in a napkin was yummy! Our Entrees included salmon, Cobb salad, kobe burger and all of them were perfectly prepared, including fresh sliced jalapeno on the side. The only hitch was they were out of Lagavulin that night. We might have been the last ones out but no one rushed us, and everyone was very cordial. read more

The food here is delicious! I've had their super fries, carne asada taco, and their breakfast burrito and they have all been amazing. The interior is very cozy and has the nice mom and pops feel to it. We were greeted upon entering and the service was great. Everything is made fresh to order as well. There really wasn't any stand out flavor in the tacos and they were greasy. Tortillas seemed to be homemade which is a positive, but they were a little stiff. I paid $14 and change. For the price, I rather pay a little bit more and go across the street and get Tacos Los Cholos. Also, the lady at the front seemed a little irritated with me. I noticed a change when she spoke Spanish to me, and I responded in English. I look Hispanic, but I am not lol. After that, she was a little short with me. I told her the order was to go when she asked. Then when my order was ready, she just said, "order ready!". I looked at the other person in the restaurant which was a gentleman, because I wasn't sure if it was his order. Once I realized it was mine, she looked at me and said, "it was to go, right??" I told her yes as I was getting up to walk over to her. Once I got to the front, she asked me if I wanted red and green salsa. I said, yes. I asked her if they had the pickled carrots and jalapeño and she didn't respond and just handed me my food and said have a good day. I asked again, and she said it was in there. Like, ok...how was I supposed to know that. So, with the lackluster tacos and what I had to pay for them, and the poor customer service I will not be back. You would think being across the street from a popular Mexican food restaurant, you would step up your game, but sadly that wasn't the case here.

This smallish eatery has been in the community for years and given that it's open 24/7 it has loyal customers. They are located in a strip mall with a small lot making it easy to find parking. There are a handful of tables both inside and outside, ideal for small groups. Although if you are hoping for something more on the quick side there is a drive thru available. The thing that I appreciate most about this place is their prices and how convenient they are. I was craving an affordable late night snack and my partner and I landed on this spot. We ordered Carne Asada fries with everything on them. They were pretty good with plenty of toppings and came with both a green and red salsa. Definitely satisfied my craving! The customer service was decent. Overall, due to the convenience, prices, and ease of this place I will be returning.
