Because their cakes and pastries can sell out pretty quickly, I definitely recommend pre-ordering your cake online. My current go-to is the Ube Cloud Cake. It's really light and fluffy--truly like a cloud! The ube flavor is subtle and not overly sweet or too sweet potato-forward, which makes it a great option even for people who aren't huge ube fans. The presentation is also beautiful. They wrap the cake in a purple ombré plastic collar and sprinkle dried lavender on top, making it almost too pretty to unwrap. Once you remove the wrapper, it's a simple white cake underneath, but still pretty nonetheless! Beyond their whole cakes, Tous Les Jours has so many individual pastries and breads to choose from. They offer cake by the slice, macarons, and individually wrapped favorites like red bean bread, salt & butter rolls, custard bread, almond croissants, guava danishes, and pizza bread. They also have pre-made sandwiches in the refrigerated section if you're on the go and need a quick bite. For bread to take home, they have whole loaves of milk bread, baguette rolls, and bundles of milk buns. Since this location stays pretty popular, some of the favorites can sell out quickly, so I recommend going earlier in the day for the best selection. They also have a cute little retail section with green tea and mocha roll cakes, manju, buckets of butter cookies, jams, and other goodies that make for easy gifts or treats to bring home. There's plenty of seating inside, plus an outdoor patio, so it's also a nice spot to grab a pastry and drink, get some work done, or simply lounge for a bit. A perfect Cafe that made my day...was Tous Les Jours (It means everyday!) I visited Tous Les Jours on a Thursday around 2:15 p.m. and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. You grab a tray when you walk in and choose from a selection of fresh pastries, breads, croissants, cookies, macarons, cakes, pies, tarts, and so much more. There truly is something for everyone. I ordered the Honey Lavender Matcha and a chocolate muffin and spent about 11bucks. Let me just say, both were excellent. The matcha was perfectly balanced with earthy matcha, honey, and lavender without being overly sweet. The chocolate muffin was soft, moist, and filled with a rich chocolate center that made every bite even better. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and presentation. We actually had so much more food than what was in these pictures but we ate it so fast and I didn't think to review until after I was full!!! it was so good and everyone was so nice. There was only one error and it was the honey lavender was asked to be decaf since my wife is pregnant and it wasn't but when I went back with the receipt there was zero pushback and she just remade it so that was very lovely and considerate. I got to try their honeydew milk bread and man was it tasty! So light, fluffy and the cream was not very sweet too. Needed caffeine pick me up and ordered their early grey cream tea and an Americano for my partner since they were out of brewed coffee. They have a cute little patio attached to the side of their building. It's nicely decorated with realistic looking succulents and plants. First, I need to give a big shoutout to my Yelp friend, Millena P, for letting me know that Tous Les Jours actually had a rewards app! One of the reasons I didn't patronize Tous Les Jours after my first visit was because I didn't see a rewards page on their website, which led me to believe they didn't have a rewards program, unlike Paris Baguette. Now that Paris Baguette has updated their rewards program, for the worse in my opinion, I'm now willing to patronize Tous Les Jours in spite of my jocular dubbing of this francophone patisserie as "Ew Les Jours" in years past, hoping the "Ew" could now be replaced by "Whoo". Second, I was planning to get something at the H Mart in Lakewood, where there is a Tous Les Jours inside. As a brand new rewards member, I was hoping they could scan my barcode so I could earn points, but the cashier at the register told me they weren't a participating location to redeem or earn rewards. I was disappointed, especially since I got a welcome coupon for a free Butter or Chocolate Chip Cookie, which was valid for about a month. I wasn't originally planning to go to this Cerritos standalone location, but since it wasn't that much farther, I drove over there from H Mart to redeem my welcome coupon. Third, I'm going to stop numbering my paragraphs because it's going to get annoying lol. Upon my arrival, I came in and saw an L-shaped row of pastries that started in front of the front door. There's another display case across from the L, but the cookies I was planning to get were on the next shelf over from the display case. The welcome coupon was only good for either the Butter or the Chocolate Chip, but I wanted to try both. Also, I found out on the rewards app that in order to qualify for a birthday reward of a free slice of cake, you have to make a purchase before your big day. I wasn't sure when would be the next time I'd visit Tous Les Jours, besides my birthday of course, so I essentially used the welcome coupon as a BOGO on the cookies. I first picked up a tub of butter cookies, looking to see when the best by date* was. I saw a sticker that said 04/25. My first thought was "What day in April 2025 is this?" Then, I picked up a tub of chocolate chip cookies and saw a sticker that said 04/29; now I know the answer to the question I had just asked myself lol. I went up to the register and asked if it was permissible to use the welcome coupon for one tub of cookies and pay for the other. Sure enough, it was. The cashier provided okay service that didn't really leave an impression. One thing I noticed was that after I paid, the receipt printed right in front of me, and I could just grab it directly from the printer. I was also offered a bag to go with my cookies, and I happily accepted. The butter cookies were nice and buttery, though I thought the taste could have been a bit bolder. Nevertheless, I liked how they weren't too sweet that I easily devoured half the tub in a couple of minutes lol. The chocolate chip cookies weren't like your traditional chocolate chip cookies. They were a less buttered version of the butter cookies, and the chocolate chips weren't very prominent in taste. Not bad to try, but I prefer the butter cookies over the chocolate chip. I didn't count how many cookies were in each carton, but they're perfect for sharing! They're also perfect for snacking on the go :) For the rewards program, you get 10 points for every dollar you spend. So far, I'm not liking it very much. Right after I scanned my rewards barcode at the register, I got kicked out of the app, so I had to log back in when I got home. Also, even though my purchase was $3.95, I only earned 30 points instead of 39 or 40. Boo! Now I have to make sure my subtotal is a whole number so I wouldn't be leaving some points in the bakery. The lowest reward tier is a Choice of Bread for 900 points, and I'm definitely not buying 30 tubs of cookies just for a free bread lol. There are plenty of tables and seats inside for you to enjoy your treats and maybe do a little studying there. They also have an outdoor patio in the event that there are no open seats inside, and you want to stay for a while to catch up with your friends. Overall, a better visit than the first one, which warrants one additional star from my initial rating. I probably would have given 4 stars based on this visit alone, but I don't upgrade my rating by more than 1 star if I gave multiple stars in my initial review. * I need to mention that my last visit to this Tous Les Jours was at the end of March, so the cookies should retain their peak quality for about 3-4 weeks. I meant to wait until after I finished eating those cookies before posting this review and had to include this footnote so as to not mislead readers that the cookies will only remain good to eat for a much shorter timeframe. read more

In Orange County this is probably the best from the all the TLJ chain bakery when it comes to baking. They bake everything perfectly. A few other places they tend to burn their bread. The space here is one of the best place as well. But I noticed the coffee bean for the Americano coffee has changed. It doesn't taste the same. All the TLJ has changed too. Let me start off with saying the cakes here are decorated so nicely!! The aesthetics of everything here are definitely on point. I ended up going for the confetti cake and I thought it was enjoyable, but it wasn't anything special. I'd say in terms of sweetness, it was more sweet than a typical Asian cake but less sweet than an American cake. I also picked up a slow drip coffee to go and would say the same where it was enjoyable, but nothing special. The cake we took home was frozen through and through: sponge was sandy from being frozen and the cream filling was icy. We come here whenever we are in the area. Such a cute little place to get pastries, bread and drinks. Plenty of seating. Brightly lit. All the tables were full of students studying and others just hanging around. You grab a tray and load it up with whatever takes your fancy. We got a little of everything: chocolate croissants, almond croissants, Portuguese tarts, Hotdogs baked inside a bun, and a loaf of bread... oh and my peppermint hot chocolate to drink. It's definitely not cheap but so worth it. Since we spent way over $25, they gave me a 2025 stand up desk calendar. Pretty cool. I'll be back again when I'm in the area next. Come try for yourself. I liked the bakery concept w cozy armchairs, big wooden tables, all the different displays such as breads, pastries, cookies, sandwiches, cakes, drinks, and some gift items. I Love it!! I like croissants. My wife loves croquettes and pies. We are here for the first time on South Street. Lovely!!! The service and ambiance are top notch. Especially if you sit by the window on a rainy day like today, you feel like you are in the café, Paris. My daughter requested a strawberry cakes for her birthday, without any hesitation, I came here because we love the cakes here and I got the strawberry jam round cake and all the girls loved it! I really appreciate the cake knife which comes with two matches with a scratch piece to ignite a small fire for the candles which are given free. The cake looked sleek, tasted light and fluffy, and the icing was perfect without being overly sweet, just the way we liked it. They have a variety of baked pastries that cost about $1 more than 85 degrees. The seating area inside is very comfortable and they are working on an outdoor seating area.
