The hype is real for the señorita bread. We came here just for that and you can smell the fresh baked goods as soon as you walk in. It smells so good. I grabbed a box of señorita bread and a dozen pandesal. The señorita bread was piping hot and seriously lived up to the hype. Super soft with the perfect hint of sweetness. The pandesal was really good too. It stayed soft even a few days later, which is rare since some pandesal gets hard and needs to be reheated.

I guess this place basically makes one thing? Star bread, which translates to some flour in a boatload of butter and sugar. Star bread: You can have like, two of these if you're young and healthy with zero signs of cholesterol and heart disease. If it's the opposite, you can have half of one. They're good, but pretty over the top. There's an option to order ahead, but I'm unsure how many you can get immediately and how large of an order requires pre-order. Service was... bland. Curt. Short. To the point. Business-like. All of the above. Parking: easy.

Gotta use the seat warmers

I've been lucky enough to catch Starbread when the rush doesn't, and baby... every time I bring this little treat anywhere, people lose their minds. It's warm, fluffy, sweet, and depending on the piece you grab, it might even get a lil' milky at the bottom, still delicious nonetheless. And listen... I feel like I cracked the code on keeping them warm: seat warmer on for the ride back. Works every time.

They sell malasadas!

I love coming here early in the morning to get fresh pandesal and señorita bread! The best warm and buttery sweet rolls!! If you haven't had them, you need to try them! The Tita's here are always so nice and service has always been great. Was really nice to see we had a Starbread nearby. We come here at least a few times a month. They also sell donuts and malasadas here!

Stopped by to grab some pandesal and cheese pimento bread for my parents since I was close by. When I walked in, it smelled so good! I don't know what it is about the smell of freshly baked bread, but it was heaven. The store was pretty small, but they packed so much temptation in a tiny space. Definitely will come back next time for that Seniorita bread.

This was my first time at Starbread Bakery, after one taste, I immediately fell in love with the Senorita Bread. The store was small but the service was fast, and the person serving was friendly. The prices are on the wall. I did not see a bathroom. Parking was easy on a Sunday because it was in a plaza. Starbread Bakery never disappoints! My sister sent me a box from Cali to Utah and when we visited Disney we made sure to stop by the bakery! Their Señorita Bread (Spanish Bread) is soft, buttery, slightly sweet, and absolutely addictive. Warm, pillowy, and perfect with coffee. you can easily finish a whole box! Friendly staff, fresh bakes, and that heavenly smell make it worth every stop. If you're craving authentic Filipino treats, this is the place. Trust me one box is never enough!

A coworker brought this in today and it was gone within an hour! So addicting, soft, and buttery all in a bite that melts in your mouth. The popular Señorita Bread reminds me of the Porto's cheese rolls. Definitely couldn't get enough of these. I brought one home to pop it in the air fryer and it was perfect!

A great hidden gem of a bakery with great products at affordable prices. The Senorita bread and pan de sal are a great snack to take to a party, and they are always fresh! Love coming here before closing to get some mochi donuts and ensayamadas as well!

i came on a friday morning so there was a lot of available parking spots, but i assume it will be crowded in the afternoon because the lot is shared with a supermarket. the service was very quick and i was in and out in 5 minutes. they accept apple or tap to pay. they give you the box of senorita breads in a plastic bag. i decided to try out the clearance bread that was expiring soon. it was $2.62 for 4 of the ube senorita breads. it's a quick service and tasty bakery. wish they had more locations though.

Starbread Bakery's specialty is the Senorita bread, a slightly sweet roll stuffed with lucsious butter cream. Starbread makes this bread fresh daily. Other specialties they have are malasadas and mochi donuts. I purchased two 20 piece boxes of Senorita bread. I couldn't wait so I tried one, and WOW... it was still hot and fresh!! The butter in it was so good!! The bread part was so soft and elastic, just the way yeast bread is supposed to be. Highly recommend!! This bread is so good!! They also have day old bread which they sell at 50% off.

Bread ordered Yes 9.2/10 rating! Super good bread.

Dang, yummy bread here! I walked in and looked around. First time here and i went to pull bread from the rack when one of the customers told me to get them cooked fresh which i had no idea but TY to the customer who said that! I went with the 10 pieces and they were amazing. Sweet warm and soft breads i can eat all day long. I can see why this place is popular! There was one person inside then the line started out the door. Its a small shop in the plaza area. They already donuts and other items! Other specialties like malasadas and mochi donuts. There is more then enough parking. A great place and everybody should try this.

HONEY BAKERY is a nondescript little shop that sits in an old strip mall, and to give you an idea…read moreof how good it is, they've NEVER had to make upgrades to their decor to increase appeal--it's exactly the same as it's been since the 80s. I've always loved walking in there, inhaling the oven-fresh aromas like a FIEND, ever since I was in grade school-- I'll turn 51 in a few days. You have ONE slice of their special occasion shortcakes (strawberry, mango, and I think one more variety), and you instantly become a new customer--this has been their calling card for DECADES, and they EXPONENTIALLY grow their clientele with each cake sold (potentially a new customer per slice). Their customers are SO loyal that--as far as I can tell--Honey Bakery isn't even on social media--word-of-mouth, even in 2026, is all that's needed--their baked goods speak for themselves. I highly-recommend their MILK BREAD (you'll be willing to make a special trip here, SOLELY to pick up a bag or two)--if you're a bread-lover, you'll find their freshly+baked loaves to smell intoxicating, and let's see if you can stop yourself from snacking on JUST one slice, right out of the bag....they're REALLY addictive. They come THICK- and THIN-SLICED, but thick especially sells out quickly by mid-morning, so CALL AHEAD & RESERVE your order. As I was reminded by reading another customer's review, payment is CASH-ONLY.

Every time I've gotten a pastry from here in the last 5-8 years they have slowly gotten more and more dense lol. I only ate one pastry, but this pastry had maybe 100 solid layers and I feel like I just stuffed my self at KBBQ... I miss old soft pastry. I used to love their pork sung pastry too, but now it's a pork sung dense bread with a pastry blanket on top. This is a mom and pop shop so I feel like they either hired a new baker or one took over and has a taste for very dense bread and textures... honestly texture is not bad, but way too filling and heavy for me.

Service: 3.5 stars Brown Sugar Oat Latte: 3.5 stars…read moreBrioche: 2 stars (dry) In the span of 1-week, I happened to stop by 2 separate 85°C Bakery Cafe locations (Tustin, Cerritos). It has been so long since I've been to this plaza for Gen, that 85°C Bakery Cafe was not even open yet! We were down the street at Canaan and we wanted to grab coffee (and bread). We saw the Brioche tray "fresh" from the kitchen so we decided to grab one. Even though this Brioche was "fresher" than the ones from the Tustin location, this one was dryer. The Tustin location was pretty bare bones in their bread offerings, barely any bread for customers to purchase as compared to this location where each tray was full. The lines to the counter were also very long. When another customer (with their family) came in, they were like "What, is coffee free?" I joked with them as well since it seemed like it, with the amount of customers lined up everywhere. Good thing I placed a kiosk order for my coffee first so that was ready before I even reached the counter, helped me save time. Kiosk Order: Brown Sugar Oat Latte (Medium, Hot) $5.75 Counter: Brioche $2.85 As I mentioned in my review for the Tustin location, I am very disappointed that 85°C makes their customers purchase bag(s) and box(es) for their bread and cakes. One can bring their own bags but if one was purchasing an entire box of bread to treat others, one does have to purchase a box, for presentation. This is not a supermarket. This is not to help the environment, this is greed, plain and simple. Bag(s) $0.10 Box(es) $0.15 I do love that their coffee was extremely hot - it was still hot by the time I arrived home around 35 minutes later. I dislike lukewarm coffee, especially lattes. For flavored lattes, I normally order them half sweet, but I forgot to check if I could do that through the kiosk. The Brown Sugar was a bit too sweet for me, but it was not overpowering and the Oat Milk was a nice balance. For the price and the size of the cup, it was most certainly reasonably priced. This location has many tables for customers to enjoy their drinks and goods. This location is one of the busiest I have been to in awhile, and I used to line up for over an hour when the Irvine location first opened up. Parking can be a hit or miss, but we were lucky to find a spot right in front of the entrance.

Per the promotion, you must order any two Strawberry drinks. They were behind in the drink orders, so I just waited patiently. But, then I noticed people who arrived after me were receiving their drinks. So, when I showed my receipt, not only was my Strawberry Banana smoothie order "lost" but another female customer walked off with/stole my Strawberry Matcha Latte. At this point, 15 minutes have passed and I wasn't offered an apology or compensation (free drink for the inconvenience). Naturally, I was angry and grabbed a display tote to show that I wanted a clean, brand new mini tote as compensation. Which I thought was fair because I didn't want to stand in line again to try and get a refund. Instead, I was accused of trying to "steal" a bag worth 2 cents. Just because I touched the bag. If you want to have your time wasted, drinks stolen and be accused of petty theft this place is for you! Note: Zero stars wasn't an option. Spouse said Strawberry Banana Smoothie was full of nothing but ice and poor quality.

I've been to this bakery a few times. I came in here recently with some friends after our dinner in the plaza. We got a bunch of stuff to try and bring home. They had lots of fresh made pastries, breads, savory items, and cakes made and ready to be eaten. We asked them what was most popular and they showed us these rice cookie/crackers with almonds on top. They tasted buttery and were highly addictive. I also love their sweet potato mochi which are hard to find in other korean pastry shops. And I also love their cream filled breads. They also have beautifully made cakes that range from $42-$48 each. You can even purchase slices to eat there. Cafe Bleu also has a drink menu with lots of options, which includes teas and matchas. They even had drinks you can't get anywhere. My friend got a ginger tea which was enjoyable. The staff there was very nice and answered all our questions. I love the wide variety and plentiful of places to sit and eat. We will be back.
