Look at all the yummy flavors. I highly recommend the Dubai chocolate at the top right corner of the display window!

I've been going here on and off but if I'm definitely craving mochi donuts this is my only go to spot. Their mochi nuts are fresh and have perfect chewiness and flavor. Not to mention their flavors are unique like the Dubai chocolate mochinut! It is a MUST TRY!!! As for the service, Gabriel the employee was very professional and waited for me patiently until I decided on the flavors that I was craving that day!!! Ambiance As for the atmosphere, it was pretty plain but was very clean. The display windows for the mochinuts were very clean!! Definitely a highly recommended place for good and delicious treats!! My all time favorite is the matcha mochinut! Any flavor is good! You won't regret it!

    The same for 6 Mochinuts

Love Mochinuts, donuts with a mochiko flour I assume to give them that mochi Chewy texture. They have a number of various flavors that are updated and nice to be able to try them all. They now have donut holes as well, which was something they did not have before. Get a variety dozen for $5.50 to try your favorites, before buying full Mochinuts. The staff was friendly, no issues at all, the spot inside was clean, minimalist and modern. Nice little spots to enjoy them there if you like or take them to go. My favorites are the Maple and Ube Mochinuts, but really all are pretty good and worth trying to see which ones you will like best. First tried these in Vegas a number of years ago, glad to see they are slowly getting locations around in California. If I had a small complaint, it would be that donuts in general, Mochinut included are getting pretty expensive, but I guess everything is. Enjoy!

Can't complain. Stopped by here as the sweet tooth kicked in. I got the iced strawberry matcha. It was good but a bit too sweet for me. They also had a special where you buy either a drink or donut (I forget) and you get mochi donuts for free. I think it was 6 or 12 free but they were good. I love the chewy texture of mochi. I'd come back!

I've been here once before for a Japanese style corn dog with the mochi corn dog batter and it was inedible because of the prominent taste of old oil. Had a craving for mochi donuts and hoped for the best. They have a three donut minimum, which costed $10. Bought strawberry, maple, and Nutella flavored. Had two to three bites of each; however, like my last experience over a year ago, the prominent flavor was old grease. Consistency is a bad thing in this case. First one star review in months.

I went here on June 30, 2024. I got the hot Cheeto dog. Not as spicy as I thought it would be. It was covered with more Cheeto dust but I opened the box accidentally and some dust fell off. The service was great. The cashier was nice. It took around 5 minutes to get it. K-pop played through the speaker. The inside was small, I saw one or two tables. I took the hot dog to go.

I was on my way to work starving and needed a quick snack. There are so many options between Long Beach and Cerritos, but I decided to stop by Mochinut for the first time. I'll admit, I was a little overwhelmed by all the different varieties of corn dogs they had, but Nick was incredibly patient and friendly. He took the time to answer all my questions and even gave some great recommendations. He suggested I try the sugar flavor on my next visit, which I'm already looking forward to. The vibe was super chill for a Sunday afternoon. Customer service stood out to me. The corn dogs were great. Definitely plan on coming back again! The mozzarella with potatoes was soooo good!!!

I I really wish this place would open earlier in the morning; I'd love to have it with some delicious coffee, but they don't open until 11:00.

I'm all about fairness, so after a not-so-great experience with this store a few years ago, I figured it's only right to update my review based on my recent visits and honestly, they've been great. We haven't had their mochi donuts in a while, but we always come back for their Korean rice flour hotdogs. They are always made fresh to order, hot, crispy, and super satisfying. The price is good too, especially for the quality you're getting. Our personal favorites are #1 and #2. The cheese pull never gets old, we seriously look forward to it every time! Don't forget to ask for a dusting of sugar, it does add a nice extra flavor. If I'm picking up a bigger order, I usually call ahead and it's ready when I get there. The staff have been really nice and it seems like they're making upgrades inside. There is seating on both sides if you want to chill and eat. There is tons of parking which is always a plus. Makes picking up food very easy.

My kid lives the mochi Doughnuts from here. Only drawback they are usually never fresh. Think they are made once a day until they sell out. Drinks are cute and colorful, but just ok for me. Korean Hot Dogs are pretty good. I usually get mine half cheese half sausage. Spicy ones are good too. Staff at register sometimes nice and helpful, sometimes look like they wanna go home. But there for the mochi doughnuts so...

TL;DR - pretty good donuts & drinks, solid spot. - my fav is the churro donut the staff varies, some friendly & some super quiet - the brown sugar milk tea is also really yummy - some seating and very nice interior, can get pretty busy & cramped i lowkey love the mochi because it makes the dessert more special! i would recommend, a nice quick spot to get something sweet!

I came here when it was still Chun Chun Rice Hotdog / Mochinut, and I thought it was okay. Now that it's just Mochinut, I think it's a lot better! I got the Ddeokbokki with Cheese & Original Dog, Thai Milk Tea, and Green Milk Tea. The Ddeokbokki with Cheese & Original Dog was perfect. The Ddeokbokki with Cheese had perfect chewy rice cakes, sweet and spicy sauce, and a good amount of cheese. The Original Dog was chopped up and ready to be thrown into the Ddeokbokki. I thought they would give it to me already assembled, but I love how they give it to you separately so the Original Dog doesn't get soggy. The Thai Milk Tea and Green Milk Tea were delicious and not served in the usual cans. The employees were nice! I only spotted two employees; one taking orders and one making the orders. It was a bit later at night so I understand. The cafe was clean despite the constant amount of people coming in and out and the people ordering and sitting. There was plenty of seating, and the tables were clean! This location has more variety and food options than the Mochinut in Long Beach so I would come here again!

Cookie Monster Mochinut, yum! ME REALLY LOVE COOKIE!

Mochinut is always yummy and awesome! I love how light, fluffy and flavorful their donuts are. And the best part, well they're super artsy looking. I've been to both Cerritos and Buena Park (at The Source) locations and they're both awesome. Great service and the donuts are always freshly served!

Ask the Community - Mochinut - Cerritos

Are mochinuts gluten and dairy free? Actually, found the answer on their website!…

How can I get hold of the store, phone number is a non working number?

We went earlier today. The entire shopping center lost power in the morning so they were closed, along with the other businesses in the plaza, and Mochinut's phone line was down. I suggest you try again over the next few days

How busy is it during the evenings?

No line when I went during the evening

How is this place compared to fill bakeshop's mochi donuts?

Texture is similar and slightly crispier as others have mentioned (Mochinut makes these fresh all day, whereas Fill's makes their donuts in the morning until they run out)…

How busy is in the mornings?

Hi. The mornings I've been there haven't been as busy as the lunch times.

    Are there any gluten-free options?

    Not at the moment (7.11.20)

I'm obsessed with the vanilla frost -- it's like chewing ice that's perfectly flavored with vanilla. The vanilla and matcha ice cream blend together really well, and pairing that with the grass jelly and strawberries is chef's kiss. My only tiny wish is that the strawberries were cut into smaller pieces so I could get one in every bite, but honestly I'll gladly do it myself. I come here all the time just for this dessert. Parking: They're located in a high foot traffic plaza, so finding a parking spot can be difficult. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with a decent amount of indoor seating. The tables and seats were kept clean. There's cute decor from the ceiling as well. This is the type of spot where you'd bring your family with younger kids for something sweet, while the adults sit and talk. When we visited, my family and one other family pretty much took up all the tables lol. Service: There was only one worker behind the counter serving and making the drinks and desserts. She doesn't acknowledge anyone. It wasn't too busy, but throughput took a while since she was by herself. There's two kiosk to order from. You don't really interact with the worker until she brings out your order. Desserts & drinks: We ordered a mixture of almost everything. We noticed there were a few menu items that were out of stock. I ordered a mango pamelo sago, my sister ordered a brown sugar boba milk tea, my cousin ordered an americano, and my other cousin ordered a strawberry & cream eggette. I thought the mango pamelo sago was okay; the mango flavor was lacking except for the actual mangos. There was plenty of sago, but I thought this dessert was underwhelming. My sister thought the boba was okay bc it had an interesting texture, and the drink itself was lightly sweet than what she's used to. My cousin thought the coffee was okay. The only thing we all enjoyed was the eggette. It's a bubble waffle with ice cream and fresh fruits, which is pretty difficult to mess up. Pricing: Prices are pretty high for the portions offered. Overall, the desserts were underwhelming and some didn't meet our expectations. The eggettes are most likely the only thing we'll come back for.
