I was told that all sandwich bagels are toasted, so I felt confident placing my order. Unfortunately, when I got home, the bagel wasn't toasted at all. It was pretty bland and underwhelming overall. Not a kind staff member in the entire cafe. Rude and short. No parking and no seating. I can imagine this place being great for those working online, but the ambiance OOOF! Couldn't get through the door. Someone's children were constantly in the way. Pushing customers. Pushing through the line. Touching everything loud as could be. Staff were unbothered. I've seen several of these places around and this one was convenient to where I was running errands. It's a free standing building with a drive through. Very different than the other locations I'm familiar with. I walked in to order as I prefer to have time to browse the menu on a first visit, plus look at displays for options to see what looks best. There was no line and I was helped quickly. The place is open with lots of natural light, providing seating both inside and out. I ordered a coffee beverage and bagel with lox sandwich. Coffee was ok, but the bagel and toppings were very good. I would definitely come back! Super easy parking. Cassidy corner is one of my favorite breakfast spots of all time. I like with this one there is a drive thru ; which is pretty speedy on orders, I got a Joe special on an everything bagel with tapatio hot sauce on the side. The bagel is warm and soft with a slight crunch from being toasted. My only critic would be the amount of bacon put in the sandwich. I think one more slice would do justice. My husband thought it would be nice to pick up breakfast from the Woodruff location for mothers day and surprise me... well it surprised me alright, the desi he ordered was horrible! I've never had such a poor quality meal from Cassidys. The bagel wasn't toasted, the avocado was brown and tasted horrible, and the Costco pre-cooked bacon was cold.If you are going to charge almost $14 for a bagel sandwich I would expect better quality. We got Cassidy's corner and ordered drive thru and it was very fast and easy. The staff were very nice and helpful. We got the lox with asiago bagel, it had a generous amount of cream cheese, silky smoked salmon and fresh topping, everything tasted really balanced and fresh. We also got their famous Joe's special with the jalapeño bagels, which was super flavorful, and satisfying. I ordered a Joe's Special on garlic. The bagel was delicious as always, though I feel like it was a bit skimpier than I've had at other locations. The lemon pepper was also super concentrated into certain spots (like super super concentrated to the point of shudder-y bites), so it's kind of evident that the sandwich may have been made rushed or in a distracted way. I had a sleeping baby in the car, so I most options for a quick lunch were not feasible, and I didn't want to do drive-thru fast food, so I finally tried Cassidy's newest location which thankfully has a drive-thru. I had the Maddy that has layers of pastrami with a garlic bagel, and I had a hard time putting it down. What's nice about this is how thin but tender the pastrami is and even the pickles were cut the long way to ensure that each bite wasn't leaving anything out. The garlic bagel was topped with heaping amounts of toasted mince garlic and added a nice crunchy texture with a soft and pillowy breading on the inside. The employee was really nice and seemed to take pride in her work, and those are small but noticeable details that always make the experience more enjoyable. read more

I've been here quite a few times since their soft opening. It's nice having a Cassidy's much closer to my house. Customer service is friendly enough. Nothing out of the ordinary. The exterior looks large because it used to be the Wells Fargo building. But, the ordering and seating area seems small. I feel awkward standing near the seating area where other customers are eating in after I've ordered. But if I move to the small area towards where the tv is, people think I'm standing in line to order. After you place your order and pay, they ask for your phone number to text you when your food is ready. And they also give you a buzzer with a number. Seems pointless in my opinion to have your buzzer go off and get a text on your phone at the same time. I'd say a buzzer would suffice. Like seriously you're complaining about them wanting to be a cashless business? I never carry cash and I always pay with a debit/credit card ... they even have Apple Pay to make life easier if you forget your wallet. I think it's smart prevents robbery and thief. While we were eating I believe the owner stopped by our table to ask us how everything was. She was extremely nice and actually took the time to talk with her customers to see how their experience was, that was awesome in my books! Ambiance is nice, seating both inside and outside. This new location is a perfect idea especially with the drive through! they have a small menu, but honestly all of their items are so good you won't get bored even i you order the same thing. I always order the desi bagel and it's a good size & will definitely have you full. Ok first let me say I loooove the idea of the drive thru when you're headed to work and want a quick bite (I'm tired of going to Starbucks). I like the selection of what they serve and decided to get a salmon lox bagel. Service was good and surprisingly super quick even with a long line. The presentation of the bagel was also impressive. It was HUGE. Here is the reason for the 3-3.5 stars... The amount of cream cheese was almost gag-worthy. They really put a whole tub of cream cheese. The worst part is that my stomach was not happy about that for the rest of the day. I've been coming to Cassidy's for several years, and I was genuinely excited when this drive-thru location opened. Even though Del Amo is close, this one is literally a street away, and the drive-thru option felt like a huge upgrade. I've given this location many chances, but the consistency just isn't there. It's usually younger staff, and for some reason they always ask for a name, yet I rarely get my points because they don't ask for the phone number, and I don't always use the same card for it to pull up automatically. Over time I've experienced small issues, bagels not toasted, a random liquid on my bagel making half of it soggy, burnt, no cream cheese, and even receiving the wrong order. I let those things go, hoping it would improve. But today was the last straw. The drive-thru was packed with five cars ahead of me and four behind. When I finally reached the speaker, I waited in silence for two full minutes. Someone eventually came on just to say, "Thank you for coming to Cassidy's. It'll be a minute or two." No problem,except I wish they had told me they were out of cream cheese before I waited in that line. After sitting there for an extra 10 minutes, they finally told me they'd run out, and I drove away with no bagels at all. At this point, it's really disappointing. I wanted this to be my go-to location, but the lack of communication and quality control is becoming a pattern. I'm hoping things improve, but for now, this experience was extremely frustrating. I have been to several Cassidy's Corner from Glendora to LBX to the one off Del Amo and I am so glad they are finally down the street from me. Cassidy's Corner Cafe is a fantastic addition to the Lakewood neighborhood! Their bagels are the real deal - huge, flavorful, and perfect with cream cheese or built into a delicious sandwich. My personal favorite is the nova lox bagel. It never disappoints, especially when paired with the signature iced coffee! I've gone early in the morning, later in the afternoon, and it's been a blessing to have them nearby. When I first went, it took them awhile to get everything in place, but it seems that it is in place now and the place runs like a well-oiled machine now.
