I have been getting bagels for years at this location. The bagels are fresh and delicious. My favorite is the jalapeno and cheese. One doz is $18 and you get 13 bagels. Friendly service. They do offer several small tables for dine in. Plenty of parking.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning looking for fresh, in-house baked bagels. Staff were cheerful, with K-pop playing in the background. I ordered a provolone pesto bagel with bacon & egg to eat there, plus a sun-dried tomato and asiago spinach to go. My food was hand-delivered, which was a nice touch. The eggs were fluffy, bacon crisp, and the bagel had a soft interior with a chewy crust. I couldn't really taste the pesto, but the overall flavor was still great. The bagels I brought home stayed fresh for a couple of days. They accidentally gave me another provolone pesto instead of asiago spinach, but it wasn't worth fussing over--they're so tasty I'll be back to try more bagels and pastries.

I've been wanting to try this place. It's nearby and gets great reviews. So last weekend my bestie and I agreed to do breakfast at her place and order takeout from here. When I got there they were VERY busy... good sign. I asked what the difference was between the ham and cheese sandwich (on bagel) and the ham and cheese omelette (on bagel. I was told the sandwich was cooked and assembled in stages (egg, then ham, then cheese) and the omelette was prepared all together and served on the bagel. Placed the order, was given a number, and a short time later the food was brought to my table, bagged up and ready to go. Nice. It was still warm when it was opened at my friend's dining table. Although it was obviously freshly prepared and very warm, it had no flavor. So that was a disappointment. Anyway, the people who worked there were polite, service was quick and efficient... food was just kind of lacking in my opinion. I may try it again but I'm not in a big hurry.

Vanilla Chai latte iced 10/10 - does not taste like a candle - Very creamy - You can choose it iced, hot or a blend - My new favorite chai Denver Omelette 7/10 - Pretty good bagel for the price - Has a lot of ingredients that blend together well - Bagel was jalapeño cheese - I wish I would've gotten cream cheese on it, I forgot to ask! This little shop was really busy when I went in so I knew it was going to be really good. They have a large variety of fresh bagel to choose from and different cream cheeses. Even though there was a line my bagel came out quickly! Their chai latte is very good, I regret not getting the 20 oz instead of the 16 oz! The service was amazing, they are very kind and attentive. If you eat in the shop they bring your bagel to you. Making this location very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be going again!

Great bagel spot! The bagels are soft inside. Service was very friendly and they have a nicely-timed system where we didn't wait too long for our food. You can also get 1 egg instead of 2 eggs for the breakfast sandwiches. Store is tucked in a small shopping mall and the people there were a mix of local regulars and people who just want a good bagel. I'd just say don't go with the rainbow bagel. I feel like all the food coloring messed with the integrity of what a good bagel it could've been and was very tough and dense. But overall - I will definitely return because even their Water bagels (which you rarely see) were delicious. And I need to try their Sourdough bagel because they were out when I went.

Super good! A little expensive for what I got. However their sourdough bagels are amazing. I also like how you can do half cream cheese. So I tried Chive cream cheese & Jalapeno cream cheese. Yummy!

Service was great! I am a cinnamon roll lover, and I loved their warm glazed cinnamon roll. It is large and took it home to eat over the next couple days. I think I'd rather have had the sourdough toast. It looked good.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the prime rib was only available during Father's Day weekend. It would have been nice if that little detail had been mentioned in the post that inspired the trip. Since we were already there and starving, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. The medium rare top sirloin arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a blowtorch. It was so overcooked and rubbery that we couldn't finish it. We brought the leftovers home thinking at least our dog would enjoy it. She sniffed it and walked away. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, you understand how impressive that is. The meatloaf somehow managed to transport me back to my hospital room after my appendectomy. If you've ever wondered what institutional cafeteria food tastes like with a side of disappointment, order the meatloaf. The coleslaw appeared to be made from aging cabbage with visible brown and pink bruising throughout. To save myself a trip to urgent care, I passed on trying it. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that showed signs of life, but the gravy was so salty it could probably preserve a mummy and contained the dried skin that forms when gravy sits out too long. Even the lemon slices in our water glasses were slimy. The atmosphere felt less like a destination restaurant and more like the dining room of an assisted living facility. The average age of the patrons appeared to be somewhere around 78, which honestly started making sense once the food arrived. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was pleasant, but she seemed just as confused as we were about what was actually available on the menu. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how many other people had made the same pilgrimage after seeing that Instagram post. At this point, I have to question whether @laoc.eats actually eats at the places being promoted or just photographs them. This was our second disappointing restaurant recommendation from that account, and it may be the last time we use it as a dining guide. Forty minutes there. Forty minutes back. One edible side dish. I should have just stayed home and made a sandwich.

My friends and I were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to make the 15 minute walk over, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The cashier was incredibly kind and patient, and even though the place was busy, everything moved quickly and smoothly. There were people studying, having conversations, relaxing with friends, and it just had that perfect coffee shop energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The coffee itself was amazing. It tasted smooth, fresh, and honestly addictive without being overpowering. You could tell there was real care put into making it. Some places are overhyped, but this one actually lived up to the feeling people look for when they want a "good coffee shop experience." This is one of those places that becomes part of the memory of a trip. I would genuinely come back to SoCal just to visit this coffee shop again.

They're very very fast and efficient! Every single time I go Alex always takes good care of me, we're pretty much best friends at this point! On top of that, Kevin and Barbra are also extremely friendly and I really love their attitude in the past few months that I've been going to this place I HAVE NEVER had a bad experience with any of the employees quite the opposite, they actually make the start to my day 10x better! You have to ask yourself, why does a neighborhood burrito place have more than a thousand positive…read morereviews? After one visit, I think I get it. You can feel the love. The place has that comfortable, homegrown feel the moment you walk in. Handmade signs, local businesses advertised on the walls, and a steady stream of regulars giving the staff high fives, fist bumps, and asking how their parents are doing. This is clearly not just a place people eat. It is part of the community. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, and it was very good. Soft tortilla, gooey cheese, flavorful chorizo, a little crispy bacon, and a reasonable price. Nothing overly fancy or trying too hard. Just a warm, satisfying burrito made the way a neighborhood favorite should make it. There were also quite a few military members from the nearby base, which adds another layer to the local pride and gives the whole place a little patriotic energy. I chase burritos. I have visited plenty of the famous places that show up all over Instagram and Yelp, so I would like to think I have earned at least a minor degree in breakfast burrito studies. Was this the absolute best burrito I have ever eaten? Probably not. But the feeling you get eating here, supporting a true local business, and briefly becoming part of something bigger than breakfast is right up there at the top. Definitely worth waiting in line. It's obvious Strange Brews took over the yelp page and partial name of Strange Cafe to ride on the coat tails of their excellent reviews. You have to order your food and drinks at the register, then go find yourself a table. There is no prompting from the person at the register like, can I take your drink orders? Or is this for here or to go? He just said hello and kind of stood there looking at us. He did make suggestions once we started ordering and after he asked if it was our first visit. The process was slow, for us and those who ordered ahead of us. The seating area is so so. There nice booths on either side, but the center row of tables is a bit too wide so when sitting there I felt like I was in the way of people trying to walk by. There is no decor, besides scattered plants, which is fine, it's just funny that they didn't stick with the "Strange" theme from the cafe with their psychedelic 70s prints. The food was ok. My husband had the tres amigos breakfast tacos with chorizo. It came with no sides, just 3 chorizo and egg tacos. Beans would have been appreciated. They were not very flavorful. I had the chilaquiles with asada and the green salsa. The green salsa was very tasty. The asada was ok. My husband took some of my salsa covered chips to add to his tacos for more flavor. One annoying thing is the amount of single use disposable plastic they use. All the drinks come in plastic cups, even water, the salsas come in those small salsa containers with lids. I'm no tree hugger, but i think we do have a responsibility to be conscientious and not create more waste and trash than necessary. Just buy reusable and wash the dishes. It just seems lazy. You can tell the owner is trying to save money wherever they can, to the detriment of their customers and the environment. If they had servers taking orders at your table and real serve ware, the experience would have been better and maybe we'd plan to come back, but as it stands now we won't be back. My husband said "they don't know who they are", and I agree.
