They are located in a little strip mall next to a reptile store. All of their cookies are absolutely delicious. I have had almost every variety and haven't had a bad one yet. The shortbread are the best and I'm partial to the Neapolitan since it has some strawberry flavored shortbread in it. Service was friendly! Very cute place. They changed the art in the front window and whomever the artist is AMAZING. Anyway, I have been watching Ted Lasso and Ted brings Rebecca these delicious looking cookies that reminded me of these cookies so I stopped by. When I walked in, it unfortunately did not smell the scrumptious smell of cookies. It smelled like...packaging? But I proceeded to get a few types of cookies, I HAD to have those Ted Lasso "biscuits." So, I chose the walnut chocolate chip, cafe moments and guava dreams. I also got my free dipped cookie for checking in. I decided on the Neapolitan. Let's get down to the merchandise breakdown: -Walnut Chocolate Chip: IYKYK that walnuts in a chocolate chip cookie is PRIMO and these did not disappoint. Bite size, buttery and perfect ratio of chocolate to walnut. This gets Betty's Check of approval. -Cafe Moments: these were so luxurious! The lady that helped me (she did not give her name) told me these are what everyone these eats when they need a little pick me up. I thought it was going to be like a sandy texture, but it was not. Very silky and definitely melts in your mouth. At the end I had a couple of very small coffee bean grinds in my mouth but it was not unpleasant at all. This gets Betty's Check of approval. -Guava Dreams: these were the Tad Lasso cookie look a-likes. What a disappointment. I was waiting for a buttery, soft taste but instead I got an almost stale taste. As I finished the only bite I was able to take, I realized that it tasted like they used ghee instead of butter. Now I did not ask about it, but for me, it was not my preferred taste. The guava filling was sweet and had little chunks in it, very good mouthfeel. I would not buy again. -Neapolitan Dipped Shortbread: I mean I loved the walnut chocolate chip but this was next level! So good! strawberry section was my favorite and with the chocolate covered part it tasted like a chocolate dipped strawberry! This gets Betty's Check of approval. Stopped by to get some gift boxes for Case Management week! They had a great variety of cookies but ran out of the macadamia nut/chocolate shortbreads. I was super bummed! Anyhow, ordering is made easy as they have the menu boards. They also bake fresh cookies and it smelled really good. We ended up spending about 200+ bucks and it was totally worth it all. Next time, we will try the newest cookies they have on the counter! The inside is pretty cool and open! They have a window so you can see when they do bake and cool cookies! read more

We've been going to Kelley's for years and we love them all. They are simplistic and clean in packaging, but they have excellent gift wrap options. My family went to Kelly's on 12/31/2024 at about 12:30pm. The store was empty as we walked in,we weren't greeted or acknowledged in any way. I asked for the peppermint cookies only to be ignored as the young lady and guy joked and coversated between themselves. I asked about the cookies gift boxes, the guy barely answered. We paid and I don't remember them saying have a nice day or goodbye,again store completly empty. Once out of the store I told my husband we had not bought enough cookies. His answer was, they don't want our business it's ok not to give it to them. For years we enjoyed Kelly's cookies as many of our friends gift them to us throughout the years. We also enjoy to gift them to friends and neighbors during the holidays however it is not necessary. First time at this shortbread cookie location and I was very impressed. Very clean location and prices and demo cookies were on display. I was greeted by two very friendly staff members and they recommended various types of flavors for me to choose from. I ended up customizing my gift box and chose a set of pecan flavored ones as well as individual cookies. I got the chocolate covered macadamia, Neapolitan, plain macadamia, and orange chocolates dipped flavored shortbread cookies. They were all so tasty and fresh. If you get the Melted moments be prepared for a mess. That powdered sugar gets everywhere. Be ready to eat the whole bag they are that good. I've been here a few times already. COVID-19: As of 10.23.20, the store was open for in person shopping. Employees were very nice and helpful with recommendations. Parking: Private lot. I'm going to list what we got from my favorite to least: Macadamia Chocolate Chip $7.25: Mini, crunchy chocolate chip cookies. These make such an addicting snack. I really like Tate's Bake Shop Cookies and these are reminiscent of that. Shortbread $7.25: So plain looking, but so buttery and delicious. I tried shortbread cookies from Bakery Nouveau after returning to Seattle, but Kelley's shortbread was definitely superior. Chocolate Dipped Macadamia Shortbread $7.25: This was also good except I did not like the chocolate dipped part. I feel the cookie doesn't need it. Neapolitan Delight 1 free cookie with Yelp check in: We tried one as part of the Yelp check in offer. I liked the strawberry part of the cookie. Like with the above, I could do without the cookie being chocolate dipped. Peanut Butter $7.25: These were also mini crunchy cookies, but I prefer peanut butter cookies to be soft and chewy so I didn't like these as much. Cafe Moments $7.25: The texture is interesting. It does kind of melt in your mouth. I did not enjoy the coffee flavor in this, but would be open to trying the regular Melting Moments one day. ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. I can't quite express how much I love these cookies. I've been enjoying these for years. The biggest complement I can give is that they remind me of home cooked cookies - except I could never bake cookies that look this good. If you look at their small chocolate chip cookies (and all the variations), as well as the peanut butter cookies. . .they look like something you'd bake at home. And they taste home made too. Sometimes, you eat something that tastes good, but the more you eat of it, the more you realize there's something in there that isn't quite natural tasting. But Kelley's Kookies just taste like natural ingredient, recipe-perfected heavenly treats, no matter how many you eat. I feel like The Cookie Monster, just wanting to stuff handful after handful into my mouth. It's kind of sad, but a good kind of sad. I usually stick to my old standby favorites (mini chocolate chip cookies, Kelley's Delight, fruit-sandwiched shortbread (xxx Dreams), Melting and Cafe Moments, etc. But when I've tried new variations (Orange or Banana Delight, lemon or pumpkin shortbread, it's ALL been good. Yes, they're kind of expensive, but it's an indulgence and you should treat yourself now and then. And I don't mind paying for quality. I just received a mail order from them - $66.25 worth (hey, I had to get free shipping, right?). Very very well packed, shipped UPS so they arrived quickly. Now my holidays are set and even though sheltering at home kind of sucks, I can enjoy my cookies while at home. If you check out my other reviews, you'll see that they aren't all favorable, nor do I write a lot of them. But when you run into a great business like this, you're inspired to give props. My highest recommendation to Kelley's Kookies. And also, I've always received great service when going into the store and buying in person. I bought the banana delight and blueberry dream. The chocolate on the banana delight was surprisingly melty, which caught me off guard. This was a good thing though. Most of the time I expect my chocolate to be hardened on cookies, but this one was smooth and tasted great! The blueberry dream was shortbread with some blueberry filling. I wasn't a huge fan, but it was still good nonetheless! I tried my girlfriend's White Russian and I understood why she bought two. I am a huge fan of shortbread cookies, so when I found Kelley's Kookies on yelp, I was excited to give it a try. Firstly, parking was easy, despite the lot seeming full. Secondly, the customer service was excellent. The employee was very friendly and helpful as she provided me with different samples and recommendations. I ended up purchasing a set of 5 shortbread-dipped cookies. I got three white chocolate with sea salt, a white chocolate with toffee (their current seasonal topping), and a milk chocolate with peanuts shortbread cookie. My favorite was the sea salt white chocolate cookie, as I absolutely love salty desserts. I also purchased a box of the guava dream cookies, as I was told most customers love the guava the best out of the filled cookies (they also have blueberry, raspberry, and cherry). The guava dream cookies were just ok, and not worth purchasing again, at least for me. I personally liked the raspberry sample I had in the store better, so maybe I'll get that next time. Price: This place is so expensive! The box of 4 guava dream cookies was $7 and the set of 5 dipped shortbread cookies was $8. So I spent $15 for 9 cookies. But even though they're really expensive, the quality of the gourmet cookies is so much better than regular old cookies or grocery store cookies. Obviously I can't afford to come here regularly, but when the mood for high-end cookies hits me I will definitely return. So if you're a shortbread lover like me, then this place is worth hitting up at least once. read more

Cookies are my weakness especially fresh baked short breads! I heard about Kelly's cookies earlier this week and had to stop by. Cute little shop. Very clean and bright. The guy working there was very friendly! His customer service is beyond excellent. I was so indecisive with all the different kinds they had there and he just kept offering to let me try whichever I'd like to. I ended up getting the espresso ones and the coconut/white chocolate short bread. Both flavors are amazing, very rich. Definitely going back to try the other ones soon! read more

We did the trifecta when we were in Stanton: We hit Gomen, Neveria la Flor de Mexico and Kelley's Kookies. All three are located in the same strip mall on Katella near Knott in Stanton. BTW, I had no idea these three places were in the same strip mall literally two doors down from one another. Kelley's specializes in shortbread cookies, and has several varieties like chocolate chip, macadamia choco chip, pecan, lemon, and chocolate dipped. I chose the pecan and the Chilipina chose the macadamia choc chip ($5.50/small bag). The pecan cookies were excellent. They were not dry like many store bought versions, and there was a lot of pecans. The only downside was the price (80 cents per cookie!!!): 4 Stars. The Chilipina really liked her macadamia choco chip cookies. However, they were not as good as the Hawaiian versions. They were drier compared to most of the brands in Hawai'i: 4 Stars. The ambiance and service are really good. Its cookies galore, and the staff is very nice: Both 4 Stars. I would come back if I were in the area, but the cookies are pretty pricey. But if you hit Gomen, drop by Kelley's and grab some cookies, and also go to Neveria two doors down and get some ice cream or a paleta (popsicle). read more

( (I mean, drenched in powder sugar, so it's messy to eat or get all choked up in the white powdered. so be sure to wipe your mouth and nose or people around you think you are snorting something else!)
