The ube donut was delicious - soft, fluffy, and filled with ube cream that wasn't too sweet. I also tried some of the ham & cheese croissant with jalapenos - good, but I wouldn't warm it up next time. Was microwaved, so the croissant wasn't crispy/as flaky anymore. I went to get my son some donuts after church on Sunday and the inventory was brutally limited - I'm to blame for being so late on a Sunday. All employees were super pleasant during my interactions and I wish I could have been here earlier to see their full offerings. I was the only person in the whole shop since it was already lunch time but, fortunately, they had a nice, small, lunch menu which I ordered from, as well. The donuts are fresh and taste good. My maple twist hit the spot, and she even tossed in two little donut holes which I appreciated. The only downside was the fifty cent surcharge for using my card. I picked up my donuts today and I have to say I was a little disappointed when I was initially being charged $27 for my order and then secondly to find out when I got home that none of the donuts had any filling whatsoever as promised. What exactly was the extra charge for? Just because they were heart shaped? I just paid for regular decorated donuts that were heart shaped. That is all. I could have paid a lot less for regular donuts with the exact same decorations. The fact you mentioned that they were at least jelly or cream filled is why I drove to your location. I decided to give Donut House another shot today. I stopped by in the morning at around 10-ish in the hopes that their donuts would taste better. They did not. Both the sugar twist and glazed twist donuts were not soft and fluffy (the glazed was a bit better). In terms of flavor, both underwhelmed me again. Even the look of both donuts were not as appealing as other places; it also didn't help that there was a fly inside the display case. Prices were $1.25 for each twist and I think $1.10 for regular yeast and cake varieties. I met the owner and her kids in the store. They were friendly and nice; I even told the owner that my first visit wasn't great but I wanted to give them another chance. Well, sadly, I won't anymore after this visit. It's too bad coz I really wanted to give Donut House higher marks. read more

You can hear it in her voice. She gave me a nice warm greeting and we started with my selection of a dozen donuts. Their donuts are very airy which made me feel like I can eat the dozen if I wanted to (I'm just kidding, maybe ten only haha) they also have donuts made with cake, which were the sprinkles donuts. Airy or more solid, your choice. I also got a ham and cheese croissant to share with my husband. We toasted it at home and sat down to eat. I feel like the ham was a bit on the saltier side which I didn't like. My husband said the ham and the cheese were both salty. So if you're hypertensive, be ware of that. I wasn't expecting a lot as these doughnut shops are a dime a dozen and often are just barely making an "ok" rating. However, I was pleasantly surprised to learn the owners are Filipino AND the doughnuts were actually fresh and fluffy.
