First time at Moonbridge and came around closing time. They still had a variety of donuts available. Got one Dolly tribute donut, a Vietnamese coffee, and a maple apple fritter. I am more of a cake donut person but I really liked these airy brioche style donuts, with so many fun themes! Their more traditional donuts are also very tasty too. The friendly service, music playing inside, and whimsy decor make it a fun experience.
Heard about this place on my socials and they were doing themed doughnuts from one of my favorite movies. I preordered online which was simple and easy. Went the next day and pickup was easy. A wide selection of fun doughnuts. Customer service was great and friendly. There are four tables to dine inside . Parking might be a challenge but nothing too crazy. My 6 doughnuts + tax was $41.00 . The doughnuts were decorated so nice and fun. They were all delicious.
Such pretty and unique doughnuts. Unfortunately, we didn't care for most of the flavors. They were either too sweet, turned our mouth a different color or had weird flavors. The price of each doughnut was expensive. I understand they take time, but I just could not handle paying that price or something. I'd barely check for.
They accomplish their mission- a whimsy donut store with fun and vibrant themes I've been following them on social media for awhile and have been dying to come. The staff member was super kind and I was grateful to try some creative treats! I love the decor of the place, so I highly recommend coming for the photo opportunity with a cute donut and bright colored seating. I think the donuts are a tad bit too expensive for the quality of flavors/dough. I think they are trying so much fun ideas - and I love that- can't wait for them to stick the landing on a few more to really knock the execution of each donut in their line up out of the park! The designs are already spot on.
These donuts are always so fun to get. They rotate themes and the donuts are a good size. They're a little pricy but so cute. We always end up sharing a donut because they're big and quite sweet. Service is friendly. Line can get long for popular themes.

Moonbridge goes above and beyond with their menus. They're always changing it up and offering the cutest and most creative designs I have ever seen. And I appreciate that it's not at the expense of the quality of the donut. Their biscoff crumb donut is so satisfying and non-greasy, just how I always wanted my donuts to be. Sometimes regular fried donuts have that bad aftertaste or gives me immediate regret. Yeah theyre not the cheapest donuts but the prices are reasonable for how much time and work are put into them. I also have been here during their Animal Crossing event, where you can buy cute stationary from artists, and a fundraiser for immigrant rights. I loooove how they also engage the community and use their platform for good. This place is a wonderful gem of the Long Beach community.
Worth the trip! We don't often make sugar a destination, but a summertime treat demanded finally making it over. Hard to choose a flavor but we settled on the malted vanilla and blue raspberry water themed donuts. Tasty flavors and patient friendly staff. Very cute colorful dining area.

The apple fritters are my favorite. Great gift for your lactose intolerant friends!! Bourgeois prices, but worth it. YAY!! Finally made the trip out to try these popular doughnuts!! They've been poppin off on Instagram and we always see their cool collabs but didn't get to try them till this past weekend. We definitely had to make it out for the new pokemon ones since the new Winds and Waves game got announced. We placed a pickup order online a few days prior to secure our order. Lots of traffic and ended up taking 1.5 hrs to get there compared to our usual 45 minute transit. They provide a pickup time for you to choose as well so it worked out perfectly. We got there, parking lot is easy, a bit small but still handles a good amount of cars. We walked in and told the nice young lady our online order pickup name, also grabbed a few extra individual ones that were available at the time, and enjoyed!! Smooth and easy process, it was fantastic. Highly recommend!! We took it to an outdoor food spot to enjoy but also took the rest home to enjoy throughout the weekend. The doughnut texture is perfect and the flavors are wild and unique! I definitely preferred the more basic flavors like Strawberry (Ditto) and Salted Vanilla (Staryu) but the other flavors were still fun to try! They were almost too cute to eat lol. Love this place, definitely more on the expensive side (maybe like $40 total) but worth it!! Can't wait to come back for their other collabs!! IG: @ammysalamii
Moonbridge Doughnut Studio is a doughnut shop in Long Beach that features themed doughnuts. Doughnuts run about $6.50 each. When you spend $13 for two doughnuts, it's pretty extraordinary; however, in my opinion, the flavor and textures of the doughnuts were pretty ordinary. This "doughnut studio" is more about the creativity of their instagrammable doughnut art; however, my two-star review reflects my feeling that I care more about flavor than aesthetic, particularly if a single doughnut costs more than $6. I hope that you enjoy their donuts more than I do. If you want to enjoy their beautifully decorated doughnuts, then you should follow their IG @moonbridgedoughnuts so that you could find their doughnut themes that strike your fancy.
The CUTEST donuts ever!! and they taste great! The texture of the donuts is nice and stayed pretty fresh tasting after a day. The donuts are all normal bases and the flavors come through on the frosting glazes. Definitely some interesting flavors that surprised me that were great -- loved the Blue Raspberry (Squirtle) and Honey Lemon (Psyduck). Definitely recommend for cutie donuts + great taste!

This small, vibrant donut shop was busy from the moment we walked in, and after trying the donuts, it's easy to understand why! Since it was our first visit, the friendly staff was incredibly helpful in navigating the selection. We went with a vegan apple fritter, a vegan maple frosted donut, and a vegan maple banana donut and everything was seriously good. The vegan apple fritter was absolutely amazing and quite possibly the best vegan fritter I've had to date, which is saying something! The maple frosted donut was really, really good, and the maple banana donut was just as impressive. I couldn't leave without getting one more apple fritter for the road. Luckily, I got the last one! They actually have four different kinds of vegan fritters, but unfortunately, they were all sold out by the time we arrived. That's definitely a good problem to have, and now I can't wait to come back and try the maple frosted apple fritter. No weak spots on this visit, just really good donuts, friendly service, and a fun, energetic little shop. Honestly, I wish I'd found this place sooner. After trying the doughnuts my husband and I got on Saturday, here is my review. I got the Studio Ghibli collab doughnut. Per the flavor sheet, it said the flavor was cookies and cream. The flavor WAS NOT cookies and cream. It was a regular doughnut with chocolate frosting and design on top. I thought there would be filing inside of cookies and cream or the frosting at least, but no. I think these doughnuts are just for the aesthetics. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars was because the apple fritter my husband got was good. I tried a few bites and it was very tasty. You get the taste of apple. And the crunch from the exterior with it being light and fluffy on the inside. I'm disappointed because I've been wanting to try this place out for the longest time and my doughnut did not exceed my expectations. read more

I have heard a lot of things about this place and have been wanting to try this doughnut shop. Unfortunately this is a one and done. This place relies on their gimmicks to keep people coming in. While some were cute, it just isn't enough. Their attempts in doing unique flavors just wasn't for me. The doughnuts were also quite expensive. Being in an area with so many options, this will be at the bottom of the list. Service 7.5/10 Food 3.5/10 Overall 4/10 read more

I'm over the moon about these donuts. It's a fun place to explore a unique variety of sweets. I tried their citrus apple fritter and loved the subtle tartness and crunchiness. I'd recommend it for getting someone special a special treat. Their coffee choices are good too. I had a very good cortado. Plus they have cute swag. read more

A solid 4 stars. I discovered this shop passing thru LB and did a TGTG order and was very pleased. Their donuts are around $5-7 each so it s a bit higher than the donuttery (and comparable to ole ferry). They make raised donuts with a doughy and fluffy consistency which is excellent. And the best part is none of them are filled because that's not my preference. Reid the glaze donut and a strawberry corn flake donut and they were both excellent in texture without being too sweet! Very excited for the savory onion donut and the ganache matcha one. read more
Moonbridge is amazing! If you're looking for a cute, whimsical, inclusive, and great quality donut shop. This is it! They were so kind to me when I came in to pick up two orders of their special Animal Crossing donuts. I had placed an order ahead of time and came in during a rush. They only had one order ready and were getting the second one ready which was going to take about 10-15 minutes. Since I had to wait, they were kind enough to give me complimentary donut holes (that I was totally willing to pay for btw!). Not only was the shop cute, and their service great, the donuts were so fresh and so delicious. I'll definitely be coming back for their Pokemon collab. Thanks Moonbridge! read more
Moonbridge Doughnut Studio is the most colorful, girly, exuberant doughnut shop with frequent events, seasonal flavors, and pop-ups taking place. Inside, there are pink, off-yellow walls with artwork and a corner for merch. I came on a super eventful morning for an Animal Crossing enamel pins and stationary pop-up. Surprisingly, service worked quickly and there were plenty of doughnuts to choose from! For the seasonal specials, they had Animal Crossing, Heated Rivalry, and "Ice Out" doughnuts (the latter with a portion of their sales being donated to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights). They also offer classic doughnuts like glazed, chocolate sprinkles, vanilla icing, and fritters, along with lattes, refreshers, and coffee. The doughnuts themselves are very fluffy and sweet! I adored their honey lemon icing from one of their "Ice Out" doughnuts and their "Marina" strawberry milkshake icing doughnut (Animal Crossing) so much! The Heated Rivalry doughnuts--Hollander's fruit punch and Rozanov's salted malted vanilla icing--were also both spectacular! read more

I've been meaning to check this place out for a while after seeing all their themed donuts on my feed, and I'm glad I finally got the chance to stop by. Walking in, the space feels bright and open with a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your treats. The shop is colorful, smells amazing, and has a fun vibe overall. Service was great too. It was a little slow, but there was only one person working when I came in, so totally understandable. I tried the coffee & cigarettes donut along with a mocha cold brew, and both were really good. The donut itself is a brioche donut with a coffee-flavored glaze, topped with a fake cigarette that tastes kind of like a Pocky stick. The coffee flavor definitely comes through, and I swear there was a subtle smokiness to it too. Maybe it was just the theme getting to me, but either way it tasted oddly nostalgic in the best way. I also tried the banana maple donut, which was delicious and definitely the more classic option of the two. The mocha cold brew was great as well. Smooth, not overly sweet, and the perfect pairing with the donuts. Overall, this spot is worth checking out. The donuts are a little pricier than your average shop, but I'd happily come back for the cold brew alone and to see what creative flavors they come up with next. read more
Came here for their animal crossing donuts on a Sunday afternoon and the line was outside the door. Be sure to come early, wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to wait for a while especially if you are looking to secure a specific themed donut. An hour before closing, most of the characters were sold out and there were only a few Kapp'n and Daisy Mae left. The Kapp'n tropical hotel matcha was also unavailable since they were out of their mango milk. The interior is so cute and decorated with artwork, and their story. No seats inside but there are a couple of tables outside the store. These donuts are such a work of art! They use brioche donuts for all their flavors. It's chewy, soft, airy and not greasy at all. The flavoring is all from the icing. I personally love their citrus flavors like yuzu and calamansi. I left the donuts in the car on a sunny day for a few hours while shopping and I'm definitely impressed how the icing stayed on and didn't melt. Definitely a must visit if you are in Long Beach! read more
I'm more of an old school donut gal, but I had walked by this shop so many times and was craving a sweet so I stopped in. I got lucky- It was about a half hour before closing and there were no other customers. Cute little place! I was helped by Ilyas, the manager. What a stellar individual! I told him it was my first time, and my preferences (not big on frosting, but like interesting flavor combos) and he walked me through the different types. I was happily surprised to see that they carried some traditional donuts as well as the frosted themed ones! I found that this shop was related to Simones donuts which is a great business! They even do cookie tins and caramels. A couple of the special edition donuts looked so decadent and flavorful but more like a dessert that I commented. He then brought out for me one that was a brand new item and it sounded perfect- a sugar donut topped with strawberry mascarpone encircling a pandan center and I had to get it. He even let me have my themed matcha donut without the fancy little emblem for $1 less! So nice. Those, with a biscoff donut and a logo pin completed my purchase. The pandan topping was sweet but the mascarpone was reminiscent of a strawberry yogurt and the flavors blended perfectly. The other donuts were huge, fluffy and perfectly textured. I would have liked a stronger biscoff and matcha strawberry flavor in those crumbles but at least they were not sweet! Just delicious. The prices are fairly high but I will definitely stop by occasionally to see what delicious creations they are whipping up and get myself a treat! read more

Now this is MY type of donut shop! I've been following this company for a while now and was so devastated when I missed their Miyazaki donuts the first time around and then finally were able to get them this year for Miyazaki's birthday! I absolutely love their interior vibe and the donuts they create are so creative and beautifully crafted! I love that they have a schedule to always celebrate different pop cultural events! Not only are the donuts so well thought out, but they're flavors match their taste as well! I especially loved the Oreo, strawberry Mei's sign, and omg the ramen yuzu!! The two strawberries were a little repetitive but and I felt like the sign was a little more basic of the donuts but overall such a great design! I did an at home fork and film of Kiki's delivery's service and used these donuts for her cake too! Keep designing! read more
I've been here a couple times for the ghibli themed items & the designs do not disappoint! I am a HUUUUGE Miyazaki fan & always get a rush when they come out with something new. But aside from their ghibli items, they have different awesome themes that they bring into the store. I highly recommend pre-ordering on their website because they do sell out of their popular stuff or you might have to wait a bit in the store for them to make it for you. Either way, worth it :) Store is super cute & clean. Service is always great. Keep it up guys!! We love yall! read more
This shop is very cute and aesthetic inside, with a few seats if you want to enjoy your treats there. I preordered the $44 Avatar-themed box and received a notification that it was ready for pickup. However, when I arrived, my order wasn't actually ready, and it seemed like they had misplaced it. However, the doughnuts themselves were beautiful and stayed true to the Avatar theme. They're also large, and I like that the shop regularly releases new themes throughout the month. All of the doughnuts were very soft and fresh, which I really enjoyed. One small downside was that the frosting tended to stain our hands while eating them. The flavors were fun and unique, but aside from the Appa doughnut, none of them really stood out to me. Overall, I think these doughnuts are worth trying at least once for the creativity and presentation. However, considering the price, I think there are other doughnut shops with better-tasting flavors. read more

Just wanted a little snack and I saw this donut shop on maps and I was like why not try it out. Honestly I tonight it was gonna be like a mom and pop but it wasn't. These donuts were more in the specialty side and a bit bigger than the usual donut at mom and pops shop The inside was nicely decorated and again donut were as well! Pretty with colors and well lit. I got a the coffee one with like a little cigarette! I liked that the donut wasn't too overwhelming sweet! The doughy wasn't too dense either!! I will I would the dough to be more soft and chewy but again that's personal preference The girl helped me out and gave me suggestion! She told if I wanted a free donut I can do a survey. But the donut was only for me so i didn't fill it out personally but hey good tip! read more

ONE OF MY FAVORITE SWEET TREAT SPOTS! I'm a semi-regular at Moonbidge and I highly recommend it to any donut lovers (or people who love unique flavors in desserts). Firstly, staff is always polite and understanding and they are always very well versed on the different donut flavor options. Moonbridge always has a rotation of different flavors and themes depending on what's going on locally or what's trendy in the world. The donuts themselves are beautiful, fluffy, and delicious and I've basically never had one I didn't enjoy. I'm happy to continue supporting this awesome local business! Also, the inside of the store is so adorable and feels like walking into a gorgeously decorated pastel coffee shop. They also have a ton of cute merch. read more

im a sucker for all things kawaii! moonbridge doughnuts has been on my list to visit for awhile but the opposite direction whenever im in LB. i was running some errands and made a pit stop to grab some donuts. ik they have a rotating menu and hear they are pretty tasty as well. there was no line during my visit, yayy for me, it was about an hr to their closing time. their theme during my visit is Pokémon and Bruno Mars!! i ordered: GLAZE APPLE FRITTER (V) MAPLE APPLE FRITTER (V) SPRINKLE BOMB BISCOFF CRUMB, NUTELLA SMOKIN OUT THE WINDOW (java chip) 24K MAGIC (Fruit Punch (Passionfruit, Cherry Pomegranate, Blood Orange) really cute shop. handful of seating inside, merch avail for purchase. ive only tried the biscoff crumb and it was light and fluffy. it would be diglett? or his evolution biglett? idk 10 for creativity and execution!! parking: no issues with parking. read more
They often come out with theme donuts and they are objectively creative and beautiful looking. Most recently they came out with some Ghilbi donuts we couldn't pass up. Our favorite from that set was a Matcha flavored one mainly because it was the most balanced, less sweet donut offering. We also pre-ordered the set. There is no seating inside so it's strictly "to-go". The decorations are cute. Now the service...um...the male cashier was a bit abrupt...just a tad (or on the border between nice and rude). When I told him I had a pre-order, he asked for the order number which, of course I have to find in my purse...so I asked him, would my name help in locating my order? He responds, "Well, yes, but the number is faster." Okay, fine. I give him my name, but then go on my phone to locate my order number...but then he locates my order (with my name) in less that 2 seconds. Um...so my name was sufficient? Like, why be weird about it? LOL. Okay, not a big deal...but just a glitch in the overall customer service experience. Definitely check them out though. I've been wanting to try this spot for the longest! First off this place was aesthetically beautiful. The thought that went behind designing this place was just fitting. I've heard so many great things about their themed doughnuts. Got to see the Pokemon decor on their doughnuts and they were just beautiful. They're so creative!! I ordered their banana matcha latte. It was quite delicious! I also got a doughnut called "coffee & cigarettes" I think that's what it was. That was yummy too! I wish it was warmer, but the doughnut was nice and fluffy inside - still had a soft texture inside. The service was great! So friendly and sweet! read more
I enjoyed my first taste of Moonbridge donuts Friday morning as a surprise treat from a coworker. We had a variety of their donuts to meet everyone's tastes. I chose the Happy Lunar New Year (honey lemon icing) and was delighted by the light flavor and subtle sweetness. I'll definitely need to stop by for my own box to choose more goodies to try soon. read more

There's a decent amount of parking here at the private lot. It seems most folks just pick up donuts so the lot should have spots readily. The inside is hella cute with fun art and merch. There's limited seating so getting the donuts to-go. The line usually moves quick. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The special event donuts are really fun! I like the blend of flavors and the impressive designs. I always make the long drive just for these. So far the matcha flavored donuts have been my most favorite ones but I'm biased towards matcha. All the donuts have tasted well. Typically one donut can fill you up so you'll have more for later. Their regular flavors are also just as good. Cute donut shop near airport. Staff was very nice, welcoming. I loved their stranger things theme donuts, very creative. I came for the chocolate sprinkles and banana maple donut. Both were very delicious. Will def come back and try other flavors. read more

This place has been on my list for a long time to visit and their high school musical 20th anniversary donuts finally got me here! I got 3 themed donuts and 2 "regular" ones (mint chocolate chip and a fudge one). The donuts themselves are really big and fluffy. The price is worth it with the portion size, taste and how detailed the designs are. Such a cute donut shop! They offer a great mix of daily flavors and fun seasonal creations--I tried the classic glazed, the Vietnamese coffee, and a couple of their Summerween-themed donuts. All were delicious and priced fairly for gourmet donuts. They also serve coffee and tea, and there are a few tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your donut there. Be sure to check out their Instagram for updates on new flavors! They even sell adorable merch like cups and t-shirts. There's also plenty of parking in the shopping center. Always a fun spot to stop at! I love all the different themed donuts they have every few weeks depending on whats happening at the moment. Ive gone quite a few times for the Office, regular donuts and now Zootopia/Stranger things. They never disappoint with their different themes. They hit the mark every time. The staff is also super friendly and although they have a lot of clientele, I always walk in and grab the donuts and I'm out. Its always quick and the inside of the place is cutesy. The parking is easy and its located in a small plaza off the corner of a main street. I always come back to check out their different donut themes!
