It definitely the shock and awe factor! Today I was working in the area and found a hidden gem! How did I not know! Will definitely be back! #Doughnut #BananaCream

Knead Donut & Tea is a small, welcoming spot with incredibly friendly staff. The donuts were fresh and delicious, with new batches coming out continuously while we were there. You can really taste the difference when they're served warm and fresh. Definitely worth stopping by!

The donuts and pastries here were good, but could've been better. I visited this Cambodian donut shop with a friend around 10am on a Saturday and our experience here was relatively good. Going down the list of donuts/pastries we shared: -Creme Brûlée Donut: Nice brûlée shell and the custard was sweet and creamy. -Guava Cream Cheese Cronut: Loved the guava cream cheese frosting which wasn't too thick nor rich, but I wish the pastry itself was flakier. -Croissant Bomb with Jalapeno: Meaty and buttery. It's nice that they can warm it up for you. I felt like there was only sausage in here and there was a lack of ham and bacon. Not really worth almost $11 in my opinion. While the donuts/pastries were generally good, I felt like the donuts would've been better if we came and tried them at opening at 5am. That fresh element was missing and the donut quality tasted and felt like they were sitting out for a while. There's a good amount of free parking in the lot in front of the shop. They also have some tables and seating to enjoy your pastries and drinks at. I'm unsure if I would go out of my way to come here again, but this is a solid donut spot for sure.

Straight forward customer service. Eccentric selection of donuts that are not your standard fare. Creative flavor combinations with some classics included as well. Good flavored donuts. If you're in the Long Beach area then chem 'em out!

They came out with a mango sticky rice donut... heaven. Coffee is always perfectly balanced between strong and sweet. We get the Zombie.

Not your basic donuts! They have so many fun and creative flavors. Everything we tried was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. We also got a breakfast croissant and a banana Vietnamese coffee, yum! A spot worth checking out if you're looking for something more than a classic donut. The staff were also very nice! :)

Yeah this place is incredible! If you love sweet things then you definitely need to put this place on your list!! The coffee shop is cute and has a number of cronuts and donuts to choose from. They also have croissants and savory croissants- like ham and cheese. The number of different beautiful baked goods to choose from makes you want to just spend all your money in this place to try them all. The service we had was also 10/10. The person we had was so kind and helpful. She was patient answering all of our questions and giving suggestions. She even found out it was my first time there and gave us a free sample. We got 3 cronuts, a ham & cheese croissant, a black sesame Vietnamese coffee, and a regular Vietnamese coffee. Everything was insanely good. I will say Vietnamese coffee is typically strong and sweet. It's nice here because you can control your sweet level, they have a whole sliding scale so as to make your coffee just right. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place! Definitely when you have a chance check it out.

I was hesitant to write a review, being from out of town I wanted to try it out. The selection was great, went early in the morning on Sunday. Tried the bacon, banana, strawberry, brûlée and guava. The bacon donut was a bit cold but tasty. Honestly they all were not as moist as I'm use too but taste good. Would recommend to buy the ones you plan on eating that moment. Although I left mine in the car and three days later ate the last guava it was still delicious. Not as good as fresh but great ingredients. Worth checking out if you are in the area. Guava was the winner.

Picked up a few donuts for the fam. Didn't realize these were going to be fancy donuts until I got to the place. There's a good selection of decedent donuts. The owner was kind enough to add in an extra free donut. The donuts were all pretty good - I heard their coffee is good as well, but since I don't drink coffee - can't say much about it. Overall - not my type of donut (I like the old school boring donuts) but the execution and pricing fits. If someone is looking for a fancy donut, would rec this place!

6 donuts for $30. I came for the blueberry donuts because I've had it before from another shop and this one here looks exactly the same. However, it didn't taste the same. The other place was better but I don't remember where it was from. It was good but not amazingly memorable. I also enjoyed the strawberry fancy kronut. The creme brule with added filling, strawberry shortcake, and crumble donuts were okay.

Donuts were a bit dry, the toppings on it definitely were delicious however buying into the donut it was a bit dry and they are somewhat over priced! The lady helping said a dozen can go up to $60, what saved it for me was their iced coffee! Definitely try the banana coffee

"Worst donuts ever", "worst service ever". The place isn't that clean either. Deceptive technique to sell more. A guy ahead of us ordered 3 donuts and the rude woman behind the counter gave him 3 boxes of donuts (over $40). He tried to correct her but she took advantage of him being nice and pushed the 3 boxes of donuts. He was so nice, she totally took advantage of his nice manners. I was at least hoping for good donuts but no one even could finish theirs. Three different flavors, all bad. Don't waste your time and money on this disgusting place with deceptive techniques.

Currently the flagship location at University Town Center in Irvine (opened in 1999) is still going strong and there's another Irvine location in Woodbridge Village Center. The Alhambra location closed in 2014. This Long Beach location has been around for as long as I can remember and continues to remain a popular shop for local students from California State University Long Beach. [Parking]: Pretty busy free plaza parking lot and may require a little bit of patience before finding an available spot. [Atmosphere]: The shop has a pretty neat mural of the Ferris wheel from the Pike in Long Beach and a cute selection of boba plushies / pencil cases. Chill and laid-back atmosphere. [Menu]: The drink selection is very nostalgic and brought back memories of popular drinks I used to see at most boba places in the 2000s and 2010s. According to the menu, the top 6 favorites are Mango Green Tea, Almond Milk Tea, Matcha Latte, Honey Green Milk Tea, Roasted Brown Sugar Latte, and Peach Refresher. The shop actually offers 4 free samples to try at the front and Honey Green Milk Tea and Mango Green Tea were excellent (S-tier) while Almond Milk Tea and Peach Mint Refresher were alright (A-tier). Regular sweetness for a regular size is 4 pumps and 5 pumps for a large size. *** Mango Green Tea (2 Pumps of Sweetener aka 50% sweetness - Regular Size $4.75): Very refreshing drink and 50% sweetness tasted just right. *** A solid 4.5-star for the drink and bumped up to 5-star due to (1) free samples and (2) affordable drinks (hard to find a quality tea drink for less than $5 in 2026).

Is Boba Guys a ghost kitchen and maybe I'm just not tapped in??? I've been here quite a few times…read moreover the years and my feelings are still all over the place tbh. I've never had a drink I didn't enjoy but almost every interaction with a worker that I've had here has always been very awkward or strange, my most recent visit being the strangest to date so that's what this review will be about. I was shopping in the area yesterday and really wanted a nice cold tea so I naturally thought to go to Boba guys. They've added a self service kiosk since I've last visited but the group in front of my was currently using it so I decided to wait in line either for a cashier to come to the register (because all of the workers were in the kitchen) or for the group in front to finish. A minute or two passes and a worker peeks her head out from the back and looks at me so I politely wave to gesture that I was waiting and she like ran behind the wall and didn't come to help. This was strange but a little while after the self service register opened so I just went there but another group gets in line behind me now and the girl comes out and stands at the register which is really close to the self serve thing and is trying to gesture the customers over but they're not responding and idk I didn't look over but I could just feel the awkward energy. I finished placing my order and she was still there so I said thank you and she just ignored me again. I'm a bit of a socially awkward person myself so I'm trying to rack my head around that interaction as I wait and on the kiosk it said it would text me when my order was ready, but after some pondering I look up and a drink is sitting on the table and my name was on the receipt so I just took it even though i didn't receive a text or hear them call. It was delicious and refreshing of course I forget the name but it was from the summer seasonal menu. About an hour passes and I am long gone on the way to LA to see my friends, and I get a text on my phone saying that my order at boba guys is ready for pickup? If this is a ghost kitchen I think the notification system needs some work but I think it was maybe an error. To conclude as someone who is also a cashier, I completely understand that it's hard to engage with every customer and some customers just want to get their product and go, but I think treating everyone with an baseline level of kindness and hospitality is really important when it comes to serving the public. Yes the drinks are good but the vibe is kind of wack.

These options are replaced by cheap imitations of Starbucks' frothy drinks that sound good on paper but taste like iced piss with sugar.
